Battle Royal First Round

Devin was currently laying down on a cloud hovering high above the arena, it was odd someone had just yelled start and she had been transported here for some reason. She didn't like it at all to be honest as it was really bugging the crap out of her. Whatever.. she said thinking out loud as four other white clouds floated near her obviously created by her cloud ability. She wasn't really thinking about anything other than her friend Pyua's death she would give anything if she could have her back so they could hang out all the time and grow up together just like she thought they would. But she knew it was impossible, she would never be able to, and even if she did manage to Pyua would never forgive her for reanimating her.

Cyrus appeared in the arena, blinking rapidly as one moment he had been in a small, dark room and the next he was standing in the middle of a freaking rocky plain with the hot sun blaring down on him. He looked to the sky and saw 5 clouds randomly floating in the air. Now normally this wouldn't bother him but considering they were literally the only 5 in the sky, something seemed a tad off. All around him rose several massive boulders and the ground beneath him was a mix of gravel and sand. In the distance he could make out the outline of a wall and reckoned the space he was in was a little more than a square mile of rocky terrain. There were very few trees and the ones that were there looked dead in all but one place which was a small lake, an oasis if you will. Tall trees stood strong surrounding the oasis of water. Well this is...different.

Tayuya entered into the area, her bracelet was on, so the temperature was not yet affected by her presence. She looked around, and saw a man not too far from her. She looked up to see 5 random clouds in the sky, with no others around. "Odd..." Tayuya blushed realizing she said that aloud, she looked around rapidly hoping no one heard her talking to herself. It was a bad habit of hers to think aloud, normally it didn't matter because she spent most of her time alone, but on occasion it made her seem awkward in public. Tayuya stood there, fidgeting her sword around in its sheath. She was impatient to see what was going on. She let out a huge sigh, supressing her desire to sit down.

Tetsu appeared a few feet in the air over the little oasis. He looked around in shock for a moment before realizing he wasn't standing on anything. His eyes widened and his arms flailed out to catch nothing but air. Letting out a small yell as he fell, Tetsu landed with a loud splash inside the water of the oasis. He immediately breached the water surface, coughing up some of the water, and spoke aloud. "W-What the hell?!"

He brushed his wet crimson hair out of his face and looked around the desolate area before his eyes focused on the two figures standing quite a distance away, approximately fifteen meters in distance. He silently took note of the rocky terrain and the rocky walls off in the distance. Immediately he felt exposed with so many dead trees in the area.

.oOh god dont punish me i'll swear i will sacrifise more students. He begun talking aimlessly at the sky as he had just appeared there and like his previous master he believed in 'punishment' from god. Tho quickly like any inakamono in strange lands he begun releasing his colorless and odor less field which was basically undetectible unless by doujutsu's which could see chakra. Currently he had his clown get up and his weapons were sealed in small charms on his pointy jester hat. Noticing the people around him he quickly cheered up and cartwheeled his way towards them stooping right in the middle of both of the ones on land. Silently he stood till he gave a yelp. Heyah!! im Kyoshiro!, Who are you guys and girls? He said as if this was some circus show for kids, as he had begun juggling six balls which seemed to come out of no where.

Shadra was crouched over into a ball, both hands covering his face, he was the furthest away from everyone. The sudden change between two place unexpectedly was just too...confusing. Shadra was lost, unsure on how to react, why he was here, or where he was. There was a scythe stabbed into the ground about 3 meters away, connected to shadra's wrist by a chain, once that scythe is out, it mean Shadra has lost all sense. His confusion has taken over. He stayed in his ball though, waiting for a familiar voice, or an type of threat. Waiting for anything to help him react to his unusual emotional state. Maybe when the fight gets started his shell will crack.

Saran walked around in circles for several minutes before she decided to follow the sounds of the voices, which she had been informed a while back never to do... along with the light, but she always followed the light.

"Hello?" Saran called out with a grin as she came into view. Immediantly, her eyes took in the shinobi and she wondered if it was too late to leave now that she had been be precise known.

Sighing, she decided yes; it was too late to peacefully leave seeing as how any number of them could be hunter nin. She was screwed, obviously out-matched and out-numbered she took out a cigarette and lit it, inhaling deeply. Her eyes wandered over the strange group and landed on someone familar.

"Shadra right?" She asked pointing to the smaller teen whom crouched awkwardly to the side. She raised an eyebrow. "Hey kid, are you alright?" She blew the smoke up away from him, and couldn't help but smile at his weirdness. She inhaled again.

Devin heard voices and her first instinct was to activate her Uzugan her dojutsu activating her eyes glowing from the amount of power they possessed. The Clouds around her now numbered at 17 as she had slowly been producing two clouds over the course of time. She would look over down at the ground with an eyebrow getting raised as she saw some form of vapor being released from the man dressed funny she would turn back over as she lifted her own personal cloud higher into the as she made hand signs laying back and opening her mouth as she began to release a dense mist which would start to sink towards the ground obscuring visibility. She wasn't one to attack first but she also didn't like the amount of cover the area was currently having not to mention if they were all enemies she would be severely outnumbered.

Tayuya looked around, she saw that it had finally begun. She took off her bracelet. Instantly causing the air to become cold, and Ice Crystals forming in it. Tayuya saw the familiar technique "Hidden in Mist" It was one of her favorites. She added to the mist there, by lifting up water from the oasis, creating her own layer of mist. Since there were two layers of mist on the field now, Visibilty was reduced greatly from everyone. Tayuya then made a few hand seals, freezing the entire ground of the area over with ice. It was time for things to get intresting, she thought with her hand on the hilt of her blade.

Tetsu watched as more gathered into the area and all of his senses were telling him to keep his distance. He bit his lip slightly and then jumped up out of the water and into the air where two large leathery wings of flesh sprouted from his back. Quickly taking to the air, Tetsu flew off a good thirty meters from the group horizontally and fifty meters up into the sky. It was then as he flew up that he saw a familiar sight gathering around the area starting to block his vision. The Hidden Mist jutsu. Before his sight was completely gone, Tetsu made his own series of hand signs to mix his own Hidden Mist with the one being created so as to hide himself as well. If someone was using it, then it was for a certain purpose and he decided it would be in his best interest to hide himself. Upon mixing the mist with the two being created, seeing the other one being made as he did his hand seals, creating an even larger area covered with it and making it even thicker, Tetsu increased his sense of hearing so he could hear all that was going on. After that, he hovered in the air and grew his second pair of arms.

Shadra stood up from his crouched position, noticing the voice he was hearing. It snapped him out of his daze and into combat mode sensing the surrounding danger. He scythe began swinging over the heads of both him and Saran, acting as a sort of wind turbine, pushing all the mist out of there immediate area, now if an attack was coming, they could see it coming. The mist was heavy though, and took a long while before it gave them that small amount of vision. Only for about 1 meter from the end distance of the scythe. (6 meters, 7 meters vision all round). Shadra's left hand began to burn as a square lit up on it, but he paid no attention to it, a normal for him. From that square came a long think whip like thread made purely of raw chakra. It began to take on a life of its own as it sizzled and whipped around all over the place, avoiding the area's near Saran. The battle had begun.

Tayuya saw a third layer of Mist come down, the entire floor of the arena was now frozen over.... good. Tayuya got to work with her hand seals, first starting a C-Rank Snowstorm that decreased visibility further, however it didn't affect her, she also made a pair of C-Rank ice ckates on her feet, increasing her speed by 1 rank. Finally she concealed herself in her layer of mist, making herself invisible to the others. This would be her first real fight, she was excited to prove she had what it takes to make it in this world as a ninja.

Tetsu felt the air temperature dropping and decided to make a safe route by adding on a layer of defense. Almost immediately an exoskeleton, mimicking his own, sprouted from his body and formed over him like a suit of skeletal armor. He nodded as it completed and increased his sense of smell to give him extra protection as he took to a bit higher in the sky, a bit shaky from the storm. Tetsu attempted to gather his thoughts as he listened in on anyone in the area. He could hear the swishing noise of something off in the distance, on the ground in almost a directly diagonal direction from him. It was appoximately 60 meters away from his general location.

Tayuya was skating on the ice at high speeds, while skating she mustered up some chakra to use Vacuum Blade, she made the signs and blew on her sword, instantly making it infused with A-Rank chakra, It grew in length by a couple inches as well. Tayuya's snowstorm was now blazing violently, it was making a loud noise, as storms normally would. She felt sorry for anyone that would have increased their sense of hearing to make up for the sight problem. This storm would definately be a bother to them.

It was indeed becoming a problem to his hearing, but he managed to fix that with some slight adjustment. The wind was rolling by so much that he couldn't smell much either. If only Sora was here, she could have seen through this all with her heat vision and directed him. Tetsu was spending quite a bit of his time just riding with the thicker currents of wind while keeping his wings as close as possible while still being able to keep flight that way he would just ride with the wind instead of being tossed around by the storm.

Occasionally he would have to flex his wings to toss off any forming frost. Keeping his eyes closed, Tetsu began to rely on his Sixth Sense. He didn't have much of a choice in the matter at the moment. There was zero visibility, too loud to hear, and the wind was too fast to smell. His sense of taste was useless as was his sense of touch. He could think of only two things to do as he continued to fly around in wide circles with the storm, going between forty five and sixty meters above the ground in a twenty five to thirty meter radius from the center of the storm. He decided to reserve his chakra and wait till he could clearly define a target or till something came after him.

Tayuya continued skating around in the area, she had trouble finding anyone, Tayuya closed her eyes, and tried something adept Toketsu were able to do, she put some of her chakra into the ice crystals in the air. Because of her not being very good at it she was only able to pick up trace amounts of motion through the ice crystals. She was able to make out the motion of something in the air above her quite aways. Tayuya thought it might just be a bird, but it was worth a check. She used her chakra to make large ice wings on her back. She then flew up in front of the motion she felt in the ice crystals. Bingo, there was a ninja with multiple arms and wings in the air, she had heard of ninja that could make limbs and other various body parts. She had never seen one those. This would be intresting she thought to herself, Now gripping her Vacuum Blade very tightly in her hands.

Tetsu didn't see the person in front of him, but he sensed it as he quickly spanned the gap from his flight. Making a slight adjustment to his wings path, he turned sideways and shot slightly away from the person that he sensed incoming. As he passed, bones sprouted from his knees, elbows and other various body part joints and his palms. The bone spikes from his knees would be long enough to cut the person upon passing, making them have to get back a few feet. But in case she struck out he would have his other bones that he could parry with.

Tayuya and her opponent were pretty high up, the mist didnt affect them as much up there. however the snow storm was raging, Cryo making it colder and colder. The Snow storm had no affect on Tayuya of course, since she was toketsu. Tayuya saw the opponent make formations with his bones that were intresting to her. Tayuya controlled the ice crystals around her without using chakra to make a very thin sheet of ice around her body, in the case the enemy got too close she could make ice spikes come out of her sheet of ice, piercing the enemy. Tayuya noticed the bone structure that would collide with her if she didnt take action. Tayuya flew backwards out of range of the structure, she then made two water clones which held on to her wings, while she was floating there, she would then swing her wings so that the water clones would fly off the wings at the target, both going for sword slashes on either side of the opponent, While they would be colliding with the enemy, Tayuya would have her next jutsu ready, she would then fire the Ice Cannon at her enemy straight on, this would all be timed correctly so all three attacks would come up against the enemy at once.

In a hope to lose the one coming after him, Tetsu quickly adjusted his wings, completely use to flying, and his body shot off to the left in a sudden jerk with the wind. Unlike the clones and the ice cannon, with Tetsu's wings he could maneuver within the strong winds much, much easier than they could. With another adjustment, Tetsu shot downward while still moving in the circular pattern of the storm, easily leaving the ice cannon behind. This girl didn't seem to be used to fighting a flyer in high winds. To be honest, neither was Tetsu, but he knew how to fly with the wind.

He folded in his wings around him somewhat to cause him to fall, disappearing into a thicker part of the mist. He then opened up his wings and kept adjusting them so he wouldn't move too much from his spot. Two of the spikes sprouting from his palms sunk back into his skin, though the rest stayed. He made a series of hand signs, two separate ones with each hand and did two jutsu at once. One jutsu created a series of fleshy tentacles sprouting out all around the area, though invisible due to the mist. The other jutsu created a living wall of flesh that floated in front of Tetsu, destroying what part of the storm jutsu came into contact with the shield, protecting him from harm.

Just to be safe, Tetsu followed up with his second shield, Flesh Release: Matter Fortitude, and fused it with Flesh Release: Matter Density to create shield capable of destroying B rank and below jutsu and physical objects that came within five feet of the shield. He could also now move it around freely rather than it staying in one place. He focused the shield where the storm was hitting him the strongest and then hovered there as best he could while blocking the icy wind and hidden within the triple thick hidden mist jutsu.

Devin turned over and looked down seeing a dense mist and knowing that she wasn't the only one with access to that technique she frowned as she turned back over Alice who had been asleep on a cloud a bit away from her waking up and stretching. Another doppelganger one who hadn't been named yet way on a third cloud just relaxing as well biding time really for Devin to give the instructions. There were now 30 clouds in Devin's control 6 being used to sustain her G-Force Weights while the remaining 24 were just floating aimlessly. They would begin to change color as the personality changed them all into different cloud times 4 total 6 of each one.

The Personality

One of the Gale Clouds would change into a Gale Gate, three of the Heat clouds into Heat Gates, one of the Rain clouds into a Rain Gate and finally one of the Geomagnetic clouds into a Geomagnetic Gate. They would then begin to pair up before fusing now leaving 1 Mercury Gate, 1 Venus Gate and 1 Mars Gate. Due to the fusion Devin and Alice would fall through the clouds they were resting on only to land on two new white clouds where they would lay undisturbed as it would slowly guide them higher into the air. The new doppelganger would drop down from above using a gale cloud to slow her fall drastically before she would land on the ground unscathed Uzugan blazing.

Alice

Alice would sigh before looking at Devin who had stood up on her cloud and pulled out a kunai before cutting from her wrist all the way down to her elbow as she condensed and compressed the 5 gale clouds into a dense marble sized orb. She would begin to charge her attack high above her opponents the remaining clouds being sucked into her attack the total cloud count now numbering at 15 with the remaining 15 that had been created before now having been used to fuel her Gale G-Force Cloud.

Cyrus sighed as the mist quickly spread throughout the arena, Honestly these people and their never ending need to make sure no one can see what the hell is going on. Before the mist had completely engulfed him Cyrus had spotted two figures standing next to each other, not actually engaging one another in fight but talking. He shrugged and headed off in their direction, it never heart to make some friends in a situation like this and if they didn't want to be friendly well...that made two less competitors he'd have to worry about. As he walked he noticed the ground freezing over and instinctively kicked in Son's passive ability. Unfortunately this made his shoes soaked from the melting ice, but at least wherever he went he maintained traction on the ground. Suddenly the mist parted slightly, revealing the two figures and out of the corner of his eye Cyrus noticed a string coming towards him. He snapped and sealed away the top half of the string with his own Inkan tech, avoiding the pain of losing a chunk of skin or something along those lines. Wait a minute, he recognized that technique, Hey kid, you're an Inkan too? Huh..small world. Cyrus had his hands in his pockets but his smile was brighter than anything in the mist.

Kyoshiro just stood there still jugglin as he was completely ignore. Well Shit... He said as his aura should be having some effects on who ever was in it. His aura homed in on a hormone, specifically decreasing Dopamine, which would cause lack of attention, lack of concentration and bad moods. Thankfully people had used Hidden Mist technique so his aura was basically undetectible even by chakra seeing doujutsu as there was so much chakra in the area. Tho unlike most people he wasnt handy-capped by the mist and lack of vission as when he was younger, he was constantly trained by his master using this technique to make him develope higher senses, something like a performers 6th sense. Wanting to let time get waisted he tapped a charm on his head and in a poof his sword Takame would appear. Stabbing the sword into the ground with one hand as he juggled with the other then leaned on it, waiting. He hadn't been affected by the ice floor as he currently used his Bungee gum to create traction in his feet and because it was made of his aura there was no need to waste chakra.

Saran sighed when the mist evaded her senses. Her eyes traveled to Shadra when he acted quickly to gain visability in the thick mist. This kid, she thought, raising an eyebrow. He's assisting me no questions asked. As the wind picked up Saran inhaled her cigarette, blowing out, her smoke mixed in the mist.

A frown formed when she realized temperature was dropping drastically and snow had begun to fall. The air was laced heavily with unknown chakra and Saran didn't like it brushing up so close to her own.

"It's been awhile since I've fought," She mused to Shadra. "Unfortunately I'm pretty rusty." Suddenly, wind speeds increased and her cigarette blew away. Anger swelled in her; anger she was too fond of. Her senses were able to pick up on in incoming target - I mean, shinobi. She eyed him while he spoke and she realized belatedly, that the ground had turned to ice.

"God damn it," She cursed, feeling goosebumps invade her smooth flesh. She pushed Shadra behind her protectively, not liking the situation.

"Hey you, if you're looking for a fight... Well," She paused, not thinking of anything sarcastic and witty to say. "Then go away." She said, adding in a grin. Her ear twitched as she picked up on the sounds of fighting. She sighed, not being able to sense how many of them out-numbered. She glanced at the man.

"I'm Saran, by the way." She said with a flirtatous wink. Might as well ally one's self. But the cold weather was starting to get to her, and it annoyed her greatly. Who ever was responible was going to get it.

Saran blinked at her anger-filled thoughts, taken back by her sudden fury. That's not me... She activated her Phoenix Fire Ninjutsu, her flesh and bones along with clothing transformed into pure fire. If she had gone unnoticed by the others, her brightly flaming body was sure to attract some attention now.

Shadra too had noticed the man approaching, not saying a word in response to Saran. He was more interested in this other man. Another Inkan? The only other inkan kind he'd ever seen before were his parents...killed in someones blinded rage. He wasn't doing anything yet, however Shadra still felt threatened by him, and if was obvious they were about to enter into combat soon. So shadra stopped spinning his scythe, allowing the mist to creep back in. Stopping the vision. He then used the formation of ice on the ground to feel everything around him, as well as the fact that he could feel the heat signatures around him. There was no hiding. Every time a the ice was touched, he could feel it move. Small particles of ice began to form together to create a spear, which would launch itself forwards to pierce the man, and with the mist, he would never see it coming. Shadra also threw the blade of his scythe towards him in a rotating direction, which would slice him in half while whipping around from behind, and to finish it all of, his thread would be coming around from the other direction, it would wrap around his neck, decapitating him as it was sealed away.

She again uses her powers to make her limbs and head harder for more attack power Ok bastards lets go he draws her sword and waits for some one to attack
