| Indra adjusted the straps on his wrist guards and checked the bandages he wrapped around his neck, abdomen, and legs. They wouldn't be much, but they were better than nothing. Denki kunai had already been sealed away within the seals beneath his wrist guards, his standard katana as well, while the Denki tanto rested comfortably at his hip. He checked his various pockets and straps, making sure the rest of his tools were present, though he had already done this half a dozen times this morning. He paced while standing in the waiting area, running the mental checklist through his brain as he itched to get started. Identifying the three jutsu types had been a no brainer for him. All challengers were allowed to use taijutsu, which was a relief, and his personal choices were kenjutsu, ninjutsu, and nintaijutsu. He cracked his knuckles one by one, the pop of each drumming in his ears. The room he had been sequestered to was nearly silent, with the proctors of the exam not wanting to take any chances of an unfair advantage being had. Requiring challengers to fight one another, one after the other, meant that being able to watch a match could give someone an unfair shot at another. Indra had no interest in winning through a cheap shot or underhanded tactics, he only hoped his fellow competitors felt the same way. | It wasn't too long, perhaps around twenty minutes of waiting in near complete silence before the door cracked open and a young woman poked her head in. Once she saw the room was occupied she opened the door fully and checked her clipboard. Her flak vest and insignia marked her out as a member of the Logistics Division and a Chunin. "Uh... Indra Taki-Erlang? It's time for your first match." She told him in a soft voice before stepping forwards and turning the clipboard towards him and holding out a pen. "One last signature to declare that you are indeed Indra Taki-Erlang and are a member of Kohaigakure, if you are found to have faked your identity to take this test for someone else then you will suffer harsh reprimands." Once he had signed she would take the items back before turning and waving for him to follow her.
She led him to an open doorway out into the light and waved for him to enter. The actual battle area was almost like a courtyard, depressed into the ground with some stands around where a few Chunin and Genin sat, eager to see how the exams went. The entire place was pill shaped with flat sides and curved corners. It was about eighty feet wide at the middle and two hundred feet long from the door that Indra would enter through to the opposite door. The starting point was forty feet in from each door. There was a Jonin Instructor watching over in a little podium above the left hand wall. The man was obviously an Iwari with jet black hair and very pale skin that was typical of them. He flashed Indra a hidden thumbs up as he entered.
On the other side of the arena another boy walked in with a sort of slouched, grumpy look to him. His crimson hair fell down over one eye and his other had heavy bags under it as though he hadn't slept well in his entire life. He did have a pair of chokuto at his hips and his hands were stuffed into his pockets. When he reached the starting point he looked up at Indra and gave him a nod before taking his hands out of his pockets and placing them on the hilts of his chokuto.
The Jonin gave a cough before placing their hand on the podium, causing a barrier to flare up across the edge of the arena to ensure no attacks would hit the, admittedly small, crowd before he spoke. "This is the first fight of both of your Tokubetsu Jonin exams. Indra Taki-Erlang vs Elric Arashi. Bow to one another and make ready. The fight starts in 5... 4... 3.... 2..."
Elric bowed though it was kind of sloppy, mostly due to tiredness it seems before he settled into a fighting stance and his one visible eye became just a bit brighter, some of the tiredness fading from him. | Indra had taken a seat by the time the woman walked in to retrieve him. His elbows were resting on his knees, which repeatedly jumped up and down with anticipation. He looked at her and sat up, no longer slouching forward, then rose as he said, Yes, that's me. He approached the woman and took the offered pen. People actually do that? He asked, though anticipated no real answer from the girl, she wouldn't have made that up if it hadn't been attempted before. It was more so just genuine shock. Why would someone fake an exam? That would mean they would be sent on missions they weren't actually prepared for and almost certainly die. Some people were truly foolish beyond measure. He hesitated before signing his name, then swallowed hard and scratched out his signature. As the pair emerged outside, Indra raised an arm to block the afternoon sun while his eyes adjusted to the light. This also gave him a chance to activate his dojutsu without his opponent actively noticing a change in eye color. He took in the grounds as they descended the steps and the woman indicated for Indra to proceed into the exam arena ahead of her. It seemed simple enough, with no real offerings of cover and nothing that seemed to give an unfair advantage to different styles of fighters. That was good. The faintest crack of a smile touched the corner of his mouth when he noticed the jonin flash him a quick thumbs up as the other contender entered. Indra sought no extra help or benefits, but the morale boost alone was enough to make his burden feel lighter. As he approached the center, he looked his opponent up and down for any tell tale signs that would give away information. Crimson hair could mean he was part of one or two clans Indra was somewhat familiar with. Then again, he could also just have been born with red hair. The chokutos meant he was obviously a kenjutsu user of some kind, which was to be expected. Best of luck, Elric. Indra said, bowing formally to show respect as the instructor counted down. As soon as the instructor said "1", Indra made a fist and rose from his bow with a punch aimed directly at the sleepy youth's midsection. He was curious to see if this kid really was half awake or just faking it. With the angle, if this made contact than ideally the child would be thrown skyward and left open for a follow-up. - Techs:

Description: This technique stems from the amount of willpower people put into their blows, Cypher have learned to harness this willpower and translate it into a sort of an invisible physical aura which allows them to extend the range of their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu by 5 feet. Meaning if the blow seems like it didn't connect due to the opponent narrowly dodging it the blow will still hit them albeit at a 1-rank lower than the original damage simply due to the physical aura which envelops them in battle. This makes engaging in a physical battle with a Cypher a very high risk for amateurs in close ranged combat.

Description: An immense amount of chakra is kneaded inside the shinobi's body, and a moment later all of it it is gathered into the fist. That chakra is then released into the target, which does a great amount of damage equal to their chakra enhanced strength tier. With the damage done dependent on the amount of chakra used, it is also possible for a skilled shinobi to amass it in their fingertip and still deal the same damage as one would deal using a punch just at a reduced area. When the ground is hit it is pulverized into minute pieces by the excess shock, which are then scattered like flower petals, giving rise to the name Cherry Blossom Impact. Everything within the crater is dealt the same amount of physical damage however those underground while this technique is used are dealt two counts of damage the first being the physical damage from being struck by this technique and the second being Earth Release Physical Damage equal to the strength used due to the earth actually being shattered from the force of this technique. Those Depending on whether a fingertip or fist is used the size of the crater varies, if a fingertip is used the crater has a smaller radius (2ft) but the penetration depth into the ground is deeper (20ft). If a fist is used the crater has a larger radius (20ft) but the penetration depth into the ground is shallower (10ft). Based on the level of the user's chakra enhanced strength an additional modifier can be added to this technique to result in both the crater size and depth being increased. | "You too Indra..." Elric told the other boy as he rose up. A quartet of clouds suddenly started to float out of him as the timer hit 1 and they turned a light indigo before also darkening. The clouds had already moved into position in front of him before the timer hit zero and as the displacement aura punch launched out, it struck a cloud causing it to wobble strangely for a moment. Elric smirked slightly before his four clouds fused together into two and then shot upwards. Immediately afterwards a powerful rain began to blast the arena and Elric vanished from sight. He at least knew his opponent had some way of attacking him at range so this would help mitigate that. From within the rain there was suddenly a large blast of water that would attempt to wash over Indra and stick him in place before a distinct crackling filled the air and the water that had been sprayed across the arena exploded into life with crackling bolts of strangely blue lightning flaring over it. If Indra was still in contact with the water when this happened he'd definitely end up in a pretty bad way due to being electrocuted. After this however things grew calm for a moment and no other attacks were forthcoming, maybe Elric was waiting to see how Indra fared after his initial assault, maybe he was charging up for something, it'd be up to Indra to find out exactly what was going on. - Information:

Description: The Arashi are capable of producing pearly white Materia known as Nimbus which resemble clouds which manifest when the user is focused or emotional. Often called Nimbus clouds, they are integral to the use of Storm Release as an Arashi Clan member will shape Nimbus and may or may not saturate them with chakra to give rise to Storm Release techniques. Nimbus clouds are controlled telekinetically having a deep connection with an Arashi's mental state and each Arashi is able to produce and control more Nimbus clouds as they grow more skilled (rank). Similarily they all have a max threshold of Nimbus that they can control on the field at once without strain, under normal circumstances without resulting in self harm this can not be exceeded. When Nimbus are used up in Storm Release techniques however it eases the mind allowing more Nimbus to be produced when "space" is made available. Description: A Nimbus is Storm Release in physical form, however it is capable of having it's density shifted at the user's will. When increasing a Nimbus's density it becomes thicker and solid not allowing things to pass through it and being more difficult to see through, when decreasing a Nimbus's density it becomes very faint almost completely transparent while allowing things to pass through it with ease. The Nimbus itself ties into an Arashi clan members stamina as all Nimbus can sustain damage from a D-rank technique before dispersing however by expending stamina while they are produced they can be saturated improving their durability at the cost of rapidly tiring out the user. This price affects all of the Nimbus produced at the specific time it is used, and can be used without limit and can be stacked in the same post though overuse often leads to users being fatigued very quickly. The most skilled Arashi are capable of producing Nimbus clouds which are S-rank in durability through this method making it a versatile skill for any Arashi to possess. Despite this, all Nimbus are worth the same amount when being used in Storm Release techniques this passive typically finds more use for those Arashi who lack the ability to use the advanced variants and are stuck with the basic variant. Description: The Arashi clan shares genetic material with the same beings which Nova were created from the Chakra Beasts. Due to this and constant intermingling with their Nova "cousins" an Arashi typically has large chakra reserves equating that of Soulless however depending on how far back the last Nova relative was this can drop to Inkan levels (5+ generations of non-nova ancestry). Along with this the Arashi Clan has a unique trait, a partial genjutsu immunity which is known to fluctuate as the Arashi grows in skill level (rank). Those of the "Royal" Taifū, "Elite" Tatsumaki branches as well as those clan members at the pinacle of their growth (Elite ranks & S-rank) are able to control the fluctuations more easily. The cloud itself gains the ability to amplify water channeled through it increasing the quantity by and thus damage output of a Water Release technique by 1-rank. The method of creating a Rain Nimbus: Cloud is by infusing a Nimbus with a D-rank of Storm Release chakra which is done instantly or 2 Nimbus while possessing the ability to utilize Rainstorm Variant Storm Release which produces Rain Nimbus at speeds 1-rank slower than the user's Nimbus: Cloud Control.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique which after making hand seals, the user generates a large amount of lightning from their hands, which can also be passed through conductive materials (salt water, iron sand, plasma etc) to improve the electrical power of the technique, to attack foes at bullet release speeds. Under normal circumstances when this technique is used the user normally makes contact with the substance however skilled users can use this technique at a short distance away from the conductible material depending on their rank. It typically deals C-rank lightning release damage when used on it's own however depending on the rank of whatever it is being conducted through the lightning release damage is amplified. Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope of 40 feet filling the area at bullet release speeds. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility if they do not possess Strength above C-rank. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield with the liquid eventually receding into the ground after 20 posts (total) in normal humidity, 10 posts (total) in dry or intensely hot conditions and 40 posts (total) in humid or rainy conditions. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand. The syrup can be manipulated later on for use as a source of water for other water techniques. Description: Through the use of their Rainstorm Nimbus, the Arashi Member is capable of triggering an immense rainstorm to cover a battlefield and enable them to hide within it. This requires at least 2 Rain Nimbus though more powerful Nimbus variants will result in a more powerful version of this technique. The area this covers is dependent on the user's rank while the type of Nimbus utilised determines the strength of the rainfall which causes a massively lowered vision distance, down to contact distances, and due to being infused with chakra, chakra sensory and chakra vision suffer, requiring reaction tiers added onto them in order to not be blinded by the dancing colours of the user's chakra. X-Ray vision is capable of seeing through this however without reaction tiers higher than B-Rank to assist the advantages from Time-Slowing vision effects such as the Kyougan are eliminated as the torrential rain interrupts the vision and makes the usual time-slowing effect blurry and hard to focus on. Lastly, the type of Nimbus used also determines how much water materia is generated each PT and how difficult it is to disperse the clouds and remove this technique.

Exceeding that radius results in the clouds dispersing as the Arashi Clan member is unable to exert the control necessary to keep it in being. As the Arashi Clan member becomes more skilled however the radius that they can control Nimbus clouds expands. Description: Perhaps the reason the Maelstrite Alloy was created in the first place by Kaine Arashi after a combat accident made him forcibly retire and become a Blacksmith. Controlling Nimbus is taxing on an Arashi Clan members brain however when those Nimbus clouds are stored away and not focused on it frees up "space" for more to be produced however the main drawback occurs if an Arashi attempts to manipulate a Nimbus within a Maelstrite comprised weapon when they've reached their max threshold. This causes them to instantly sustain mental damage as well as a set number of Nimbus outside of a Arashi Weapon to instantly disperse as their focus is lost. The mental damage dealt is completely dependent on the number of Nimbus within said weapon while the number of Nimbus dispersed depends on the user's skill level. Name: Kumo-Ryu Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self, Varies
Description: Kumo-Ryu is the signature kenjutsu of Arashi Clan swordsmen and involves the utilization of speed with momentum to generate enough force to displace the user's body while combating opponents. It was first utilized by Haru Arashi after she looted the body of a particularily strong swordsman, after studying it she decided to create a fighting style which could be combined with the Molting Step to great effect. Kumo-Ryu can be used with 5 different weapons certain techniques being exclusive to certain weapons these are; Chokuto, Tanto, Arashi Blade, Arashi Club & the Arashi Tomahawk. This displacement results in forced movement allowing them to alter their movement mid motion as well as accelerate, ascend, decelerate and turn at speeds that they do not usually possess. This momentum is generated through constant motion each post (total) by means of running or Molting Steps before suddenly halting the rapid change from active to passive being the strength of this kenjutsu style. Each of these techniques consume what is called, "Momentum Tokens", which is essentially the built up momentum from the constant movement in order to utilize the kata comprising this kenjutsu style. By spending additional momentum tokens than the required amount the techniques are empowered, boosting the speed they are preformed or damage dealt turning basic swings into deadly strikes. | Indra frowned, somewhat annoyed that his attack had been blocked so easily. He had to remind himself that he had barely given it any of his true strength and it had achieved mostly what he wanted anyway. Oh, so he's an Arashi then. Interesting. He thought to himself as his clothes quickly became saturated in the rain. Just as Elric disappeared into the sudden downpour, Indra activated his Raidengan's tracking capabilities. While the Kyougan would be of little help in a situation like this, the Raidengan relied on electromagnetic fields and not chakra, giving Indra a full mental map in his mind of not only the incoming attacks, but Elric as well. There you are. He thought with a smile, taking off in Elric's direction as the syrup capture field surged toward him. Oh hey, that's Durga's technique! Indra thought with excitement, happy to see someone else taking advantage of the move. Thanks to his Raidengan and natural reaction capabilities, he was able to time his movements perfectly. He leaped as the syrup cascaded around him, missing the initial onslaught as well as the surge of electricity that sparked up beneath him. Landing on the liquid with a mixture of chakra flow and strength, Indra had no problem continuing his run toward Elric. Approaching the outline of the figure, Indra unsheathed the sword at his hip and swung, hoping for a quick victory out of the gate. Name: Iaido Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D-rank (Cypher Only) Class: Offensive Range: Close (Proximity to Trigger), Short (+Displacement Aura)
Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realised with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura. | It was surprising to Elric to see Indra dash towards him so easily. He had to be Denkou branch or some shit like that, there was no way the other two eyes were able to spot him... Or so he thought anyway. As Indra closed in it would be pretty obvious that there was a spinning vortex of chakra around Elric's left arm, it seemed to be charging up for something. When Indra's slash came in, it would seem to hit Elric, spraying blood into the water pooling at their feet, staining it red. However this was a trap as after a second, the body would turn to water and drip away. Elric had replaced with the water behind Indra and was lashing in with his chokuto, pivoting his body to add extra momentum to the slash even as the nimbus he had generated flooded into the blade, turning it a bright indigo just like his clouds. He needed to win this and prove to his Clan that he could fight like the rest of them! If he was behind Indra, surely he wouldn't be able to use his eyes to track this blow, right? - Info:

In order to further "sell" the illusion of being injured this technique can be used immediately during the body replacement with the illusion actually showing the sustained damage (blood, body parts etc) up to a post (total) after the technique has hit only for the user resurface unharmed. Due to it occuring the moment an attack hit it is capable of instantly hitting those too slow to react to the ruse requiring equal rank reaction tiers to the user's speed to dodge or speed tiers 1-rank higher than their own own for a glancing blow, those with the Time-Slowing Dojutsu or Muscle Tension being able to dodge as long as they have the same speed as the user.

| Indra smiled as his sword sliced through water, scattering it across the surface of the starchy syrup puddle at their feet. Not bad, He said when the boy's outline appeared in his mind's eye, thanks to the feedback from his Raidengan, But not quite. As Elric neared, his blade swinging towards Indra's back, the Erlang erupted with electricity. It danced across the surface of the syrup capture field, reaching out to envelop the Arashi at A-rank speeds in the middle of Elric's swing. Unless the boy possessed an unexpectedly high level of Endurance, or perhaps some very impressive speed, Indra felt safe that this was about to hurt. His muscles would seize, causing him to painfully freeze and drop before the blade ever grazed Indra. He felt confident that this would work, but he also realized the gamble that it was if things didn't play out as planned. - Jutsu:
Name: Chidori Current Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Short
Description: This is a ninjutsu relying on base shape manipulation and chakra flow to alter the composition of a Chidori turning it into a deadly counter-offensive technique which does not require the use of hand seals to focus one's chakra unlike the base Chidori. By releasing the Chidori in every direction at vacuum release speeds, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him/her to affect multiple enemies as long as they are within a 20 feet radius of the user. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense due to it's lack of hand seals. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making their muscles contract immobilizing them for 4 posts (total) unless they possess A-rank Chakra Tiers or S-rank Endurance with the victim instead taking B-rank lightning release damage in exchange for negating the paralyzing effect in the case of endurance. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives A-rank Lightning Release damage. | It was a good counter and Elric hadn't been expecting it. He'd spent his training on his storm release and his ability to move quickly and strike harder than others, his endurance was unfortunately... Lacking. So when the lightning current slammed into him he let out a scream and dropped down into the water, his body twitching and sparking. Elric managed to cough out that he conceded even as the muscles in his jaw locked up. The proctor raised a hand and nodded. "Indra, you've won this first bout. Medics!" He roared out and a pair of Med-Nin body flickered into the arena, grabbed Elric and then body flickered away. The Proctor gave Indra another thumbs up and waved for him to move back to the staging area. He was taken to the same room he had been in previously though there was a new addition of a small tray set out with four rice balls and two cups of water sitting on it. The aide would tell him that it would only be around ten minutes until the second fight before leaving him to it. She'd be back soon enough to collect him. - Info:

| Indra stared at the boy as he convulsed in the puddle at his feet. It was...unnerving to say the least. He had been in combat before, even seen things far worse than some electricity burns or muscle spasms, but still this felt wrong. He looked away as the Med-Nin blurred into existence, happy that this was a Republic sanctioned exam and Elric would be floating on a cloud of painkillers momentarily. He bowed to the instructor before walking towards the exit where the same woman met him and escorted him back to the waiting room. He wandered over to the refreshment table, a fold-out with some water and nutritious snacks. He grabbed a bottle of water but hesitated as he reached for the fruit. His stomach twisted in knots from the overwhelming emotions he now faced. With a sigh, he fell back into one of the chairs and nursed his bottled water. The sight of Elric and the nerves from his next match robbed him of anything close to an appetite. One down, two to go...and that was the easy one. He said to himself, frowning at the thought. This one had been quick, but speed didn't mean it had been easy. Elric had pushed him to use far more chakra than he had wanted to at the beginning of this exam. He rubbed his eyes, both the Kyougan and Raidengan still active. There was no real point in shutting them down, a trait he was thankful other Erlang didn't share. At some point, he must have nodded off for a moment because he awoke to the voice of the same female chunin at the door. Standing with a stretch, he downed the rest of the water and followed after her, his mind clearing the haze of sleep as they walked. Stepping outside, the arena had been cleared and cleaned, which made sense considering a fight had happened while Indra was waiting and the arena had been positively spotless when he was brought out for his first fight. Okay, so this next one will only have one wild card factor. They'll definitely be able to use Taijutsu, but which one will they drop? Kenjutsu? Ninjutsu? Nintaijutsu? Only time would tell and it was nearly time. He stepped into the arena with a respectful nod towards the Jonin proctor to indicate that he was ready to begin. - Limit Tracker:

| The arena was clear once more, the proctor was standing watching over everything same as before, though this time Indra's opponent was already standing there, bouncing from foot to foot. She was a rather vicious and rough looking girl, her cyan hair brushed away from her face and held back with a hairband. Glacier blue eyes locked onto Indra and gave him a firm, ready nod. Her body was mostly covered with a large fur coat though it was left open revealing the tight shirt and shorts she wore underneath. Her feet were bare though wrapped mostly in white cloth that wrapped up around her ankles and shins. The ground around her was already getting covered in little glittering points of rapidly cooling water. She rolled her shoulders and continued bouncing. The proctor looked down and raised a hand. "Starting the second bout of these two fighters; Indra Taki-Erlang vs Sigurd Toketsu. Bow to each other." Sigurd stopped her hopping for a moment and bowed before giving a wicked wolfish grin to her opponent. "Best of luck to ya, I'll do my best to leave ya with all yer fingers, no promises and no hard feelings tho, eh?" She flashed him a wink and crouched low. "The fight begins in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." Sigurd placed one hand against the ground and took a deep breath in before closing her mouth and holding the breath. "Begin!" The proctor called out and Sigurd dashed forwards, performing handseals and slamming her palms down. The area around her exploded into frost, ice coated the ground and snow and wind whipped up around her. Blue light flared into existence around her legs and hands and she spun low into a kick to try and take Indra's feet out from under him. - Info:

Name: Winter's Breath Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Passive Range: Variable
Description: As the children of Winter, the Toketsu's adrenaline heightens their natural abilities causing them not to heat up but to cool down, causing the surrounding air to freeze around them. This just enhances itself the longer that the Toketsu fights causing the ground around them to frost over, snow to flutter down simply from the cooling water molecules in the air. This of course quickly gets uncomfortable for anyone not a Toketsu as they are immune to their own Winter's Breath but not the chakra signature of another Toketsu. Lastly the Toketsu's Breath can be sped up as they pour their stamina into it, paying fatigue to speed up the chill of the Breath. Due to their Chilled Physiology however the usual effects of the basic form of Winter's Breath do not affect the Toketsu. This aura actually doesn't deal damage on its own, instead it starts to inflict Hypothermia, draining a limit much like sanity or fatigue. This limit is equal to 3/4 of the victim's fatigue as it affects both the mind and body. Once the limit is depleted unless the victim possesses Barrier+Endurance tier chain equal or higher than the user's rank (Caps at S.) then they succumb to hypothermia, either entering a manic fear state as they claw at their own body to remove the numbness or find the smallest area they possibly can to curl up in and wait to die.

Description: A Toketsu's natural metabolism is incredibly slow, their Ice Release chakra actually permeating their entire self, cooling down their body, slowing even their heartbeat and the flow of their blood. As the Toketsu ages their natural coldness increases, their skin almost turning to living ice as they age. There are myths that if a Toketsu lives past a certain age then they will in fact turn to ice as they die, their entire body becoming a glacier as they lie in their grave. Although this has not been proven as of yet. Due to this a Toketsu is always cold to the touch and their pulse is very, very slow. They also do not seem to eat very much as they have a heavily slowed metabolism.
Age of Toketsu - Effect of Glacier's Child *Below Prime - Any blood loss is reduced by one rank as the blood is thicker than usual. Slightly cold to the touch and not required to eat as much food as normal due to slowed metabolism. *Prime - Blood loss is reduced by two ranks as the blood is very thick and very cold, steaming upon contact with the air. Toketsu is very cold to the touch, they do not need to eat very much, their heartbeat is heavily slowed. In addition poisons take an additional ten posts (Total) to affect the Toketsu due to the slowed body processes. *Above Prime - Blood loss is reduced by three ranks as the blood is as thick as treacle, almost seeming like tar rather than anything else. Poisons take an additional twenty posts (total) to affect the Toketsu and diseases take an additional ten posts (total) for sudden onset symptoms to arrive due to the extreme slowing of body processes. Food is consumed very rarely, heartbeat has almost been stopped. *Over 100 Years of Age - Blood loss is reduced by five ranks, the blood is essentially a solid, barely moving, the ice within the blood moving oxygen rather than the actual blood cells. Poisons take an additional forty posts (total) to work on the Toketsu as the body has basically stopped in time due to Cryostasis. Diseases take an additional thirty posts to show sudden onset symptoms. Almost no food is consumed, heartbeat pulses in the single digits even in combat. Skin is essentially organic ice and chips and cracks when exposed to injury.
Name: Lords of Frost Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Toketsu are special in that they are able to function even in the coldest of temperatures. In fact they don't just function when it gets colder they move more efficiently, their body actually reduces the drain it feels as they move and fight. Depending on the weather conditions, a Toketsu uses up less fatigue as they fight and these conditions can be triggered by their Winter's Breath passive making it extremely dangerous to fight a prolonged battle with a Toketsu as they get stronger as the fight goes on. However the opposite also applies in that hot temperatures cause the Toketsu to lose even more fatigue than normal. In cold temperatures, close to or on 0 (Stage 2 WB) the Toketsu uses -1 fatigue for Tiers and Physical techniques. At extreme cold (Stage 3-4) the Toketsu uses -2 fatigue and at Blizzard temperatures (Stage 5 WB) the Toketsu uses -3 fatigue. However in hot temperatures they use a +1 more fatigue than usual, +2 more than usual in extremely hot temperatures and in desert conditions they use +3 more fatigue. (Hot temperatures are cancelled out by Winter's Breath stage. For example, Desert conditions would be canceled out by Stage 5 WB leaving it at base fatigue usage.)
Name: Ice Skating - Third Form Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-Rank Class: Supplementary Range: N/A
Description: Due to the nature of Ice the Toketsu have created a specialist form of movement that allows them to delicately skate over the ice and perform fantastic leaps and bounds without having to worry about falling over. When this is trained it counts as a B-Rank balancing technique at all times however the movements are odd in regards to moving about when not on ice. When not on ice, this counts as normal B-Rank speed in all respects however it uses fatigue one rank higher as the footwork and movements are not suited towards the greater friction caused by a non-frozen surface. When used on ice however it consumes the normal amount of fatigue and indeed moves faster than normal, matching Samurai levels of speed but only when used on ice.

Description: The Toketsu have an odd oxygen circulatory system as although they utilise just as much oxygen as a normal human their blood moves much slower due to it being heavily chilled. This is due to a Toketsu's blood being much better at carrying oxygen than normal, their circulatory system almost refined. They can learn how to further refine this when utilised with breathing exercises. This technique functions as B-Rank Endurance normally however when utilised alongside a breathing technique of B-Rank or lower this allows the Toketsu to greater survive low or no oxygen situations depending on the nature of their Glacier's Child passive and thus their age.

Description: After performing the necessary handseals the Toketsu crouches and slams their hands into the ground. Upon doing so, Ice Chakra flows out into the ground, turning a massive swathe around them into a frozen plain and rapidly cooling the surrounding air temperature. Once this is done, the weather conditions of the surroundings are changed depending on the user's Winter's Breath stage and the ice and snow covering the field makes it difficult for non-Toketsu to move around, requiring them to have a midair movement technique or have their speed lowered by two tier levels in addition to requiring double fatigue unless they possess endurance tiers equal in rank to the movement tier they are trying to utilise to get around the now frozen field.
Winter's Breath - Weather Effect Stage 0 - Cooled (Water materia causes loss of 1 from Hypothermia Limit each PT standing in it). Stage 1 - Chilled (Water materia causes loss of 2 from Hypothermia Limit each PT standing in it, non-chakra infused water freezes in 20 PT.) Description: Strong Fist which is also known as "Goken" is powerful taijutsu fighting style, the purpose of which is to cause external damage and break bones. This style of fighting involves smashing your opponent and is generally used only by extremely physically powerful and dominating shinobi, however it has become the defacto fighting style for ASN Shinobi over time. As a result often victims are swept up in the user's kata being unable to counter-act simply due to the force of impact rag dolling them through the air unless they possess strength tiers at least Equal-rank- (I.e D-rank technique requires D- Strength) if no strength tier check is specified within the technique. It was made so that even those without strength tiers can use it effectively to dish out damage. Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body. This technique deals damage utilizing the user's strength tiers the higher the damage the farther the knock back and eventual fall damage. Description: By cycling ice chakra throughout the body, the wielder is capable of inflicting worse than normal strikes on an opponent and enhance their ability to use certain styles. When this is active, the user's hands and feet take on a deep blue glow and they deal Ice release hybrid damage on each successful strike based on their rank. Additionally when utilising Strong Fist with this technique active, they count as having C-Rank strength due to the increased force generated from the chakra coating.

| Toketsu? That was a new one for Indra and he quickly tried to pull up any information he had about Toketsu while they went through their formalities. Ash? No, those were the phoenix people. Dokusei were Nature Release users, he knew that for sure. He smiled and bowed to the girl, chuckling at her promise or lack thereof really. Can you at least start with my toes? He joked, Best of luck to you as well. Indra said, rising from his bow while his brain continued to churn over clan names and abilities. She can't be one of those dark or shadow people, can she? He mused through the countdown. Toketsu...Toketsu... He trailed off, keeping his eyes on the girl and a hand resting on the hilt of his sword. The countdown came to its natural conclusion and just as the proctor announced the beginning of the match, it came to him, ICE! The girl was fast. Not too fast for him, but certainly fast and she was immediately going for area control just like his last opponent. Indra made a quick mental note to look into some area control techniques should he actually advance to the Tokubetsu Jonin rank while his body moved into action. It wasn't a conscious thought to meet the girl head-on, his body simply began to tense and stayed firm as she approached. Then, as her leg stretched out to swipe at his own it simply would be pushed aside. To onlookers, it would appear she just missed with her attack. Sigurd herself would feel a slight force nudging her leg just out of the way, though she'd have little time to register what would happen. At the same time, Indra's hand blurred forward, extending his sword in a horizontal slash towards the Toketsu girl's neck and causing a blade of air to rush towards her faster than any natural eye could track. Ironically, it was even easier to do in her crouched position than it would have been had she remained upright. - Techniques:

Iai Beheading moves at S-rank speeds and deals S-rank Physical Slicing Bypassing Damage. I would argue this was done within 2 feet or so considering he waited until her attack nearly hit, so Iaido means it would interrupt any hand seals moving at SS-rank- or below speeds that she would use to save herself (I think?).
*Not sure how you would count her attack. Leaf Gale is D-rank so technically he just needs D-rank+ for Push to work, but if it goes off the damage she'd do then we can do that and it'd be B-rank+ needed I think. Let me know and I'll adjust my limits accordingly.

Name: Iaido Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D-rank (Cypher Only) Class: Offensive Range: Close (Proximity to Trigger), Short (+Displacement Aura)
Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realised with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura. Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target, before immediately resheathing the blade afterwards. Users of this technique are able to typically kill Small sized creatures hit with this attack (S-rank+ Physical Slicing Dmg). They are able to mortally wound Medium Sized creatures by being able to easily chop off body parts (S-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). Depending on the area hit they can mortally wound or seriously injure Large Sized creatures (A-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). Colosus sized creatures simply sustain heavy wounds (B-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). The reason for this is simply the slicing of air which forms a vacuum at Blinding Light speeds which slices over a large surface area. This vacuum simply bypasses defenses by screwing with the internal and external pressure put out by a living creature to inflict terrible damage.

| Having her kick knocked aside was a strange feeling but that told her she needed to be faster. The winds around her flared into life as she counter-rotated her body, shifting her stance incredibly quick to slam a fist straight into Indra's solar plexus. The blade of wind that the technique could form was too fast for her but Indra's actual draw speed was slow enough to allow her to interrupt the strike with a Skirmish. In addition to that, it was obvious that she was still holding her breath and through that she was able to see his heat signature and the flexing of his muscles, the shifting of heat through his body to better enable her to see just what he was trying. She then performed a single hand-seal and an explosive tag on the right side of her body exploded in a pocket of her coat. It damaged her but if Indra didn't move quickly he'd be caught as well and it also triggered two smoke bombs, filling the area around her with smoke. With a shift she then stepped in and lashed out with a trio of rapid punches at Indra's chest, aiming to sap away his stamina and lower his core body temperature even more as surely the cold was starting to get to him. - Info:
Flicker Stance moved into instantly due to possessing B-Rank Speed Flicker Stance + Tailwind = A-Rank speed on punches now, Skirmish can negate Iai Beheading due to swing happening at A-Rank speeds. Ambush Hunting reduces sensory radius to 5 feet = A-Rank reaction equivalent as long as Indra stays within range Hunting Rabbits deals 3 punches, each deals D-Rank physical damage and C-Rank Ice Release Chakra Damage due to Lupine Claws D-Rank Explosive Tag damage to Sigurd and Indra if he doesn't move more than 5 feet away immediately, however attack is... Not obvious. Smoke fills 15ft around Sigurd, renders normal sight useless.

Name: Skirmish Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-Rank Class: Offensive Range: Short
Description: This technique is utilised as an offensive technique that interrupts movements when in close combat, be it kenjutsu, taijutsu or even ninjutsu if it requires hand-seals or intense focus. When utilised the user simply throws their hand out, almost like a jab but with more flat force applied to it, impacting with the opponent's torso, providing a jarring impact however it doesn't deal damage, only pain equal to one rank below the strength/speed of the strike. However the power of this technique is that it forces the victim to rock back on their heels, upsetting techniques and breaking them if they are physical unless they are two ranks faster than the strike or higher (One rank higher results in the user of Skirmish taking only half damage, equal rank or lower causing no damage.) Other techniques, ones specifically requiring movement such as ninjutsu for hand seals, are interrupted unless the victim possesses a concentration technique equal in rank to the user's strength/speed.
Name: Flicker Stance Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Building upon the Lupine Fist's unpredictability has resulting in the boxer's creation of the Flicker Stance his fingers being closed inward but not enough to make a true fist in order to elongate the range of his punches while inducing a streamline effect. When using this style his Punches all get the name "Flicker" in front of them the result is a trade off of strength for speed lowering the strength of his punches by -2 Tier levels while increasing the speed by +2 Tier levels. Note this is completely separate from the damage modifiers by his other techniques and is a stance which can be applied to any of the stances which make up the boxer's arsenal. It has three different results based on the Fighting Style used in conjunction with it. *Titanic Flicker Fist now requires reaction tiers to see punch strikes. *Lupine Flicker Fist now requires muscle tension & "time slowing" dojutsu to see punch strikes. *Howling Flicker Fist now requires muscle tension to see punch strikes. When the user does not possess any speed tiers this technique has an activation delay as the user moves their body into the right positioning however with additional skill the delay is reduced while if the user has B-rank or above speed their is no delay and the stance is changed immediately. This delay is halved when switching from a stance into no stance at all due to not needing precise positioning when lacking a stance. Description: This is a unique tracking based fighting style developed by the Toketsu during their time within the Land of Futility. Due to their naturally lowered body temperature they discovered that by focusing they could detect sources of heat albeit at the drawback of having to hold their breath in order to maintain their focus in such a way. Fortunately those within the Toketsu clan are skilled at doing such and thus this technique evolved from it's original sensory origins into becoming a useful means of hunting prey without the aid of vision as often in the Land of Futility one could go many months without a single ray of sunlight. This technique utilizes a combination of the user's skill as well as their current level of Winter's Breath to accurately detect heat sources, the colder the area around the Toketsu is the easier it is to detect sources of heat. Likewise the more skilled the Toketsu is the larger radius around themselves they are able to detect heat. This technique is required to learn any of the advanced techniques belonging to this style. While a basic technique which doesn't clearly define features it does play a big part in determining the positioning of their target which can be crucial to hunting or battle tactics. Depending on the skill of the user the size of targets that can have their silhouette's determined by this technique varies. Rank - Size D - Tiny C - Small B - Humanoid A - Medium S - Large

Description: Requires Rough Heat Silhouette and 3 PT of Held Breath. A more combat focused application of Frostborn Seeking, this is used when the prey has been found and needs to be slain rather than hunted now. By focusing on a single heat signature, the Toketsu is able to read the shifting of their body, granting them C-Rank reaction tiers against that person's movements, including any physical techniques or techniques that require movement, however they are only able to see the one target that they lock on to. By narrowing the range of their Frostborn Seeking they can actually enhance this effect, increasing the reaction equivalent gained but limiting them to that range. In order to change the range, they have to take a breath and restart Frostborn Seeking from the beginning again.

Description: A simple offensive technique that focuses on the upper body rather than utilising kicks and the legs like most of the Strong Fist techniques. The user lashes out with a rapid series of very fast punches towards center mass, this causes them to deal damage two ranks below the user's strenght, minimum of D-Rank damage per punch, however in return the punches are fired out at +1 Tier Level for speed. The number of punches that can be used with one use of Hunting Foxes is based on the user's speed trained speed tier, rather than their current speed.

| It was strange watching the girl in slow-motion. With the combination of his A-rank reaction from the Raidengan and Time-Slowing effects from the Kyougan, she seemed to move normally rather than the heightened speed he knew all the onlookers were viewing their fight in. Still, even if Indra could see the girl react to his attack and expertly avoid it, the damn ice court around him prevented him from doing much to avoid her counter attack. If he tried to move out of the way, his feet would slide and at the very least he'd take the hit anyway, or at the very worst he'd fall down. That was not a position he wanted to be in. So, as the Toketsu girl slammed her hand into his chest, Indra let out an audible gasp of pain, but did not move to deflect it. Instead, at the same time, he released a surge of lightning chakra that would envelop the girl, and everything around them for twenty feet, at vacuum release speeds. He wasn't exactly proud of pulling the same trick twice, but what did he care? First of all, it was his best shot given the current situation. Second of all, she hadn't seen his fight with the Arashi so this would be new to her. He was far from a one-trick pony, but if it ain't broke, why fix it? - Techs:
The idea here is that he takes the hit to his abdomen, and doesn't try to avoid it, but as he does he releases the Chidori Current. So theoretically, this should happen before she makes the hand seal for the bomb to go off. If not, then I would say it's fair enough that maybe the bomb goes off (if she's making release hand seal as she strikes with her other hand), but the current would definitely let loose before the follow-up three punches.
Chidori Current also doesn't require hand-seals to activate. Requires S-rank endurance to not be paralyzed.
Name: Chidori Current Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Short
Description: This is a ninjutsu relying on base shape manipulation and chakra flow to alter the composition of a Chidori turning it into a deadly counter-offensive technique which does not require the use of hand seals to focus one's chakra unlike the base Chidori. By releasing the Chidori in every direction at vacuum release speeds, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him/her to affect multiple enemies as long as they are within a 20 feet radius of the user. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense due to it's lack of hand seals. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making their muscles contract immobilizing them for 4 posts (total) unless they possess A-rank Chakra Tiers or S-rank Endurance with the victim instead taking B-rank lightning release damage in exchange for negating the paralyzing effect in the case of endurance. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives A-rank Lightning Release damage. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack depending on the earth release technique it is used on. | When Sigurd managed to interrupt that monstrous slash a certain glee took her over, the frost from her hands started to spread over Indra's chest. All she had to do was land a few more hits like that and she'd leech the heat from his very bones and leave him sobbing on the floor. Of course that was when a massive blast of electricity took over her body. She reached down to pull forth something that would allow her to resist it but found that she didn't have enough chakra for it and so her predatory grin became a smirk, seems she had been outplayed.
The lightning washed over her and she gave out a feral scream of pain before dropping to her knees, her body crackling and sparking. It was obvious that unlike Elric she was actually still fit to fight, still trying to move and lash out but her muscles kept spasming and causing her movements to fail. She had no idea how long this would last for but if she was told to surrender she would, if Indra made the mistake of gloating or taking a moment's pause to breathe and think though, she'd be on him in a flash once the paralysis wore off. | When Sigurd fell to the floor, writhing in clear pain and fighting the paralysis, Indra lowered his sword to her throat. I certainly won't kill her, but I'll cut her throat enough to force a defeat. I'd rather not if we can just call it here. He said in a loud tone, addressing the Jonin instructor. Indra truly hoped it wouldn't be necessary and the Jonin would make the right call, but he was prepared for the worst. He had seen how quickly the medical-nin had moved in for Elric and carted him off, so he had little doubt that Sigurd would be in any real danger if the match wasn't called. Still...why shed blood if it wasn't necessary? A momentary image of a samurai with her throat slit flashed in his mind, her blood pooling and soaking into her splayed-out hair. He pushed such memories down immediately. The Jonin must have called the match as two med-nin appeared beside Sigurd and disappeared with her just as they had with Elric. Indra sighed with relief, sheathing his sword and bowing to the Jonin in both respect and thanks. As he walked towards the exit of the arena, he rubbed his chest where Sigurd had landed her blow and winced. It was certainly sore and the ice chakra from her claws seemed to have made its way through his clothes, beginning to burn the skin there. That was going to hurt for a few days, but he'd live. Again he was carted off to the waiting room while more matches took place and again he took a seat with some bottled water and relaxed for a moment. He was feeling better about this last fight, less anxious and more ready. His chakra levels were dangerously low though and he hadn't been expecting to expend himself this much already. Remembering the pills Seiko had given him, he fished around for one in his pocket and popped it into his mouth. It was bitter, but went down easy enough and immediately he felt better. Moments later, the chunin returned to collect him and he was back outside for the last time. Stepping into the arena felt routine now, though he was once again impressed by how quickly they had managed to return it to its natural state. The ice Sigurd had laid, never mind whatever else the other contenders had done, was nowhere to be found. He stepped up to the Jonin, returning to the usual starting spot and nodded with a smile. No matter what, he was going to win this fight. All there was to do now was wait and see just who he'd be up against. - Limits:

| The proctor stood watching over the arena with an easy smile on his face and he nodded at Indra as he entered the arena. This was going to be the last match of the day and the stands had actually filled up a lot more, there were a bunch of people that had failed in their exams sitting watching now and just entering as Indra was, Sigurd entered the stands and sat down directly in Indra's sight line before sticking her tongue out at him with a smile, she didn't actually seem bothered by her loss. Elric on the other hand was sitting off to Indra's left and was staring complete daggers at him.
The other door opened and a tall, lithe woman stepped out. Her body was only barely covered in loose silks and flowing ribbons. Ink black hair fell down around her body like a waterfall and eyes the colour of a bonfire seemed to glow with an inner fire. At her hips were two large fans and her body moved with an obvious grace and elegance, almost as though she was light as a feather, her footsteps making almost no sound whatsoever. She took her place and took her fans off of her hips before looking at Indra and giving him a wink and a coy smile.
The Proctor nodded and held up a hand. "The final fight of the day commences, Indra Taki-Erlang against Anahita Fushicho, let's make this a good fight. Both of you bow to each other and prepare!" He called out. Anahita gave an cat-like grin to Indra and bowed very low to him before rising up and tapping one of her fans against her lips, blowing a kiss to him. "The match begins in 5... 4... 3... 2..." For her part, Anahita just stood there, swaying slightly back and forth before flicking her fans out and hiding the lower part of her face with one, the other down across her stomach and hips. | Indra flashed a quick smile towards Sigurd. She was an interesting one to say the least and he made a mental note to catch up with her sometime after the exams, regardless of the outcome. As his opponent entered, however, that smile turned to a frown. This was...not what he was expecting. Granted, he didn't really know what he was expecting, but Anahita Fushicho was not it. This wasn't a child genin fighting to start their career, this was a full-on woman. Her nervously shifted on his feet but said nothing as the proctor went through his schpeal. On the mention of their names, Indra bowed respectfully to Anahita, Best of luck, let's make it a fun fight. We have quite the audience. Indra said with a friendly smile as he stood back upright. The proctor began his countdown and Indra shifted into a more battle-ready stance. Minute amounts of chakra began to waft off of him while the countdown commenced, though they'd be invisible to anyone lacking chakra vision. Once the proctor hit 1, he was off and dashing towards Anahita with his hand on the hilt of his sword. Drawing near, he'd suddenly begin to spin, blades of wind appearing to wrap around him, before slashing out with his sword to strike Anahita if she still stood before the onslaught of the wind blades around him. It was a good start to see just what she was capable of before dialing things up. - Techs:

| "Oh don't worry darling, we're going to give them a show~" Anahita cooed, slowly starting to shift her fans as the countdown dropped. When it hit zero she also immediately moved forwards however she didn't even make the slightest motion to move out of the way of the attack nor did her expression change from a sultry smile. Instead the blades simply passed straight through her and she dashed through to the other side of Indra before spinning around towards him. As she passed through him his skin would start to prickle and heat up as though her body was made of fire. When she turned she made a large flourish with her fans and one layer of the silks around her body dropped away, the rest seeming to hug her form even tighter, emphasising every movement that she made. She then clasped her fans together and spun them in a circle before snapping one closed and placing it to her lips, blowing a kiss straight towards Indra. All at once his body would start to heat up, leeching away some of the strength in his body and the shadows and lights seemed to dance, making it hard to focus on anything that wasn't Anahita at this moment. Description: A unique method of movement used among a subset of Erojutsu users known as Fan Dancers, this movement style focuses on the defensive and the ability to dodge incoming attacks while keeping the movements lithe, limber and above all attractive. Due to this when utilising offensive physical attacks through this movement, the user's speed is only B-Rank-, when moving normally it is B-Rank and when using it for defensive techniques or dodging attacks, it increases to B-Rank+ giving them an edge. Additionally if this movement style is ever used to dodge an attack successfully so that it causes no damage, the elegant movements cause opponents that are attracted to the user to lose 1 from their Seduction Limit.

Description: This is a unique genjutsu fighting style which branches away from the original method of utilizing a genjutsu technique by incorporating the Fire Release Nature Transformation. The Burning Illusion Style is a hybrid of olfactory and tactile genjutsu which in addition to being able to be triggered by layering genjutsu within a Fire Release (G. Fire & Yugure count as well) technique can have it's trigger requirements met upon the smell or feel of burning objects, flame or heat. Due to being elemental in nature like other elemental genjutsu types it overpowers ambient genjutsu when put against it however it suffers from the same elemental weaknesses and strengths as normal fire. When layering a Burning Illusion inside of a Fire Release technique the genjutsu are only required to be placed in spoilers if the opponent has a chakra sensory technique which allows one to analyze the amount of chakra put into a technique or possesses genjutsu detection equal to the rank of the genjutsu being layered. Upon contact with such a technique this type of genjutsu is called a chakra trigger which can only be Kai'd out of if an individual has Endurance Tiers equal to the rank of the Fire Release technique which struck them. While this style is not required to unlock access to Burning Illusions (Fire Release Genjutsu), it is required to get the styles benefits.

The victim will believe that the arena and their body starts to rapidly heat up and it makes it harder to use their techniques as they sweat profusely, overheating their own body in a bid to match the illusion. While this genjutsu is active the victim loses 1 fatigue each round and all of their physical techniques and tiers take 1 additional fatigue to utilise. D-Rank Barrier tiers cause only a single 1 fatigue loss while C-Rank barrier tiers negate this effect.

By rapidly heating the body up and causing a flush of endorphins, the heat can weaken the body by drawing it closer to a resting, comfortable state. This comfortable state makes the body more susceptible to harm, causing a reduction in Endurance Tiers based on the user's rank and additionally causes a one time loss of 3 fatigue due to the flush of heat. C-Rank Barrier Tiers negates the fatigue loss and halves the Endurance debuff, B-Rank Barrier Tiers negates both and causes a one time loss of 1 Fatigue.

This is due to them being granted not only physical immunity but likewise flight and most importantly the Fushichō Clan member's ability to produce Ash materia each P.T they spend within their flaming form in order to make use of Ash Release techniques. Due to being comprised of fire they are extremely weak to water, at least until the males gain their Plume feathers whereas female Fushichō are always in danger as contact with water not only quenches them to deal damage to them but likewise reverts them to their tangible state leaving them unable to transform back for sometime (Turns). | Indra's eyes shot up in surprise as he came to a stop beyond Anahita, his attack passing harmlessly through her. Okay, so she can do that. He thought to himself, turning around to face her once more. He walked in an arc around her, trying to keep moving and not stand still as an easy target. Sweat began to bead along his forehead, confusing considering it had been a perfectly crisp day and the match had only just begun, but he paid it little attention for the moment. Instead, he found himself drawn to Anahita. Obviously, it was never a good idea to take your eyes off of an opponent, but there was something more here. It was a deeper, stronger feeling of not wanting to lose sight of her. He licked his lips and swallowed hard, a confusing mixture of emotions beginning to creep into his mind. He didn't have time for any of that. Indra needed some backup. Biting his finger, he reached under the collar of his shirt and drew a thin line of blood across the tattoo on his shoulder. In a puff of smoke, Durga appeared in her usual place atop his shoulder. Hey boss! Boy, you look all hot and bothered. Durga said with a flick of her tail. The usual please, Durga. Indra said, ignoring her comment and Durga nodded excitedly before spewing gallons upon gallons of liquid from her mouth. BLLLLAAAAARGGGHHH! The little salamander's retching noises seemed to fill the arena, far louder than such a small creature should be able to produce. The liquid would rush outward, spreading around the arena floor with Indra and Durga at its center. Let's try this again. Indra thought, sheathing his tanto and sprinting towards Anahita across the lake of goop. Nearing her, he would draw his blade quickly, going for a simple Iai Slicing attack. However, as Indra drew his sword, lightning would erupt from the blade giving his physical sword strike a lightning chakra punch. - Techniques:

Description: The user spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope of 40 feet filling the area at bullet release speeds. This is a stream of sticky liquid that can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility if they do not possess Strength above C-rank. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield with the liquid eventually receding into the ground after 20 posts (total) in normal humidity, 10 posts (total) in dry or intensely hot conditions and 40 posts (total) in humid or rainy conditions. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand. The syrup can be manipulated later on for use as a source of water for other water techniques. Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realised with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura. Description: This is an advanced chakra flow technique which the user channels Lightning Release chakra in order to greatly increase their cutting power through high-frequency vibrations granting defense piercing & Lightning Release chakra damage equal to a B-rank while the vibrating effect results in a motion blur preventing the user's Kenjutsu from being read by B-rank or below weapon perception techniques such as Iai Prediction. This technique is aimed at allowing said weapons imbued with lightning to maintain that charge for a set amount of time before requiring a fresh chakra price even when not in contact with the user rather than constantly draining from the user's chakra reserves which is based on their skill level. | As Indra brought out his summon, Anahita smiled and with a quick spin, she drew her fan up her arm, stabbing a corner in at the middle of her forearm. A bead of blood appeared before with a flash a fairly large bird with glowing orange and red plumage appearned on her shoulder. Anahita then flew upwards slightly above the rushing water and clasped her fans together before breathing out a massive cloud of ash in front of her at the same time as the Phoenix squawked and let out a ball of flame. The ash cloud then exploded into flames, Indra would either have to brute force his way through the flames or divert his attack to be able to avoid them twinned attack. Although that wasn't all that Anahita had done as she suddenly split into three hazy forms, all of them swirling and dancing through the air, barely clothed and veiled. With a quick swish of her fan, two of them flew forwards to Indra, giving him sultry looks and blowing him kisses as the last one floated in the air, waiting to see what would happen with the other competitor, was he a masochist, did he have some way to avoid the attacks? Description: The Fushicho are known for their mastery over the Ash element but they are also capable of altering their body into fire. For most, Ash tends to smother flames and would result in a counterinuitive pairing, however the Fushicho have learned how to emulate aspects of phoenix feathers within their Ash Release. This causes their Ash Release to gain the ability to actually be ignited by Fire, Blaze and Yugure Release techniques. When this is done, the ash initially used in the technique is consumed and generates no materia however it causes the technique to explode in an area and deal a hybrid of Fire and Ash Release damage throughout that area(Half of each) with the area and damage being dependent on the rank of technique that is consumed.

However it has a secondary and more dangerous effect in that anyone that is struck with this technique, so long as they need to breathe, will breathe in and swallow some of the Ash, forcing them to begin choking and coughing. The duration this lasts for is based on the victim's Endurance Tiers and while active not only do they take 3 D-Ranks of internal Acid damage per round until the duration ends but their strength and speed tiers are weakened by 2 Tier Levels each due to being interrupted by intense coughing.

While on fire the target takes an additional 3 D-Ranks of Fire Damage each PT unless they spend their entire turn putting it out or submerge themselves in at least a C-Rank of Water. Additionally phoenix fire burns hotter than most so while on fire the target loses an additional 1 Stamina each PT from overheating.

| WHOA, that's not fair! Durga complained when Anahita summoned her phoenix. Indra didn't have the time to ask Durga how Anahita summoning a familiar could possibly be unfair when Durga herself was right there on his shoulder. I'm out, good luck boss. Durga said with a flick of her tail, disappearing in a puff of smoke as the burning wave of ash rapidly approached Indra. He grit his teeth, this was bad but not unwinnable. Just as the ash wave enveloped him, he snapped his fingers with his free hand. Anahita would watch Indra disappear amongst the flames and the world around her would flash with pain. Lightning exploded in a large dome in the center of the battlefield, the lightning-charged ions that Indra had begun to disperse at the very beginning of this match finally ready to unleash. With the air all around her filled with the particles, there'd be nowhere for Anahita to escape to. Indra had to just hope that it was enough to take her down. While Anahita and her bird dealt with that, her wave of heated ash began to clear and a silhouette appeared through the smoke. Indra stepped forward, his entire being now clad in sparking, cackling lightning and he himself appearing unscathed from the attack. If Anahita did in fact drop from the sky as he hoped, he'd continue his attack, sprinting after her for an Iai Slicing. However, if she somehow avoided it he'd instead slow his speed and keep walking along the surface's water, waiting to see what she pulled out next. - Techs:

Description: Over the course of five posts (total), the user will spread electrical particles throughout the area, unseen to the naked eye. During the five post set up, the ions are unable to be seen or really felt, but can be blown away by an equal or above rank Area Dispersal technique that is strong against lightning. Anytime after the fifth post, the user can activate/detonate the floating ions and anyone caught within the field (120 sq. feet) will be electrified, causing their muscles to constrict and lock up as well as dealing B-rank chakra damage. Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra using chakra flow that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system granting them increased perception when used with natural tiers to make them on par with samurai. The technique also speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed when used with natural tiers to make them on par with samurai. This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilise nintaijutsu. When using the armour at full power, it causes the tips of the user's hair to spike up and her reflexes are said to be comparable to those with Muscle Tension, making it difficult even for the Kyougan to keep up with them. | There was a very short scream as Anahita was struck by the lightning but it was quickly replaced with a loud moan as her body tensed for a moment and she arched her back like a cat before returning to normal and spinning around to face Indra. "Naughty boy, you could have told me you liked to play rough~" She cooed towards him before running her fans down her body, another layer of her clothing floating away and down into the sparking water under her. Her cheeks flushed as she moved now, faster than before, her every movement exaggerated to show herself off and entice Indra. Several people in the crowd were already drooling hard at what was occurring. The two shimmer copies also moved down to Indra once more, making sure to stay close to him, pressing close to him, running kisses along his jaw and neck. Anahita spun and with a flourish manifested a set of massive glowing feathers behind her seemingly made from fire and they shifted, altering the wind around her. As she did so if he was still staring, he might notice blood starting to drip from his nose as he focused on her, it would seem something was soaking into his mind. - Information:

Description: By training the body relentlessly, the Fan Dancer learns to not only protect themselves from threats but also ready themselves for the rigours of their art, enabling them to dance far past most others and turn what is usually a negative into a positive. This technique counts as A-Rank Endurance and halves the damage from chakra based techniques of A-Rank and lower. Additionally this Endurance Tier is focused around the dancer's main art of erojutsu, due to this not only do they suffer a flat -2 to SL loss from A-Rank and lower Erojutsu(Minimum of 1) but whenever they suffer pain they regain 1 stamina + 1 per rank of the technique that caused them pain(So a D-Rank would give 2, C-Rank 3, etc).

Description: By altering the nature of their Sol Fire body, the Fushicho is able to manifest a number of very large feathers behind their body, allowing them to shift the flow of air through their body to enable them to move faster. Depending on the number of Great Feathers, which is based on rank, the wielder is able to increase their movement speed while flying, however this comes with a series of weaknesses. When they take a hit, they are completely unable to resist any form of knockback and whenever they suffer damage, they lose one of their Great Feathers for the rest of the topic, if this damage is from Wind Release they lose two Great Feathers instead. Additionally, if struck with water release, not only are they rendered tangible they lose all of their Great Feathers for the remainder of the topic.

This technique can only be activated once someone has lost Seduction Limit thanks to Shimmering Embrace. Once done, the copies become slightly more 'tangible' in nature though this is just an illusory effect. Their touch now spread beautiful heat through a target, sapping away their will to fight. The seduction limit loss from Shimmering Embrace now also applies to Stamina loss and the copies gain an equivalent B-Rank strength tier to try and hold a person down to prevent them from moving, in reality its their own muscles locking up to prevent the movement.
Name: Fan Dancer's Eroticism: Seven Veils Dancing Classification: EroTaijutsu Rank: S-Rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Sight
Description: A powerful and dangerous Erojutsu style that involves using the movements of the body and multiple forms of layered cloth in order to perform an advanced form of stripteasing that keeps the mind enthralled and makes it incredibly hard to fight the wielder. The issue is that the more layers of cloth are dropped, the greater the temperature differential within the body and the more the dancer must move to emphasise what is remaining, resulting in not only an increase in stamina usage but also a time limit between being able to remove Veils. With each Veil removed, the Dancer causes a certain amount of Seduction Limit to be lost each PT they are watched moving. The duration that this style can be maintained is based on the user's Rank and the time limit between veils being removed is also based on their rank with a reduction dependent on their Endurance Tiers as they are able to greater maintain the energy output and temperature differential though this is capped at a minimum of 2 PT. The First Veil of this fighting style can be dropped without a timer with the timer activating after it has been dropped.

However when the clothes begin to be shed that's when people start looking closely. This is the only Veil that can be dropped without actually utilising the style, the effects of this Veil don't actually trigger until the Fighting Style is activated, allowing this veil to be almost 'skipped' in preparation for other things. Once activated, the usual effects of SL loss and additional stamina trigger, however this veil also enables the user more freedom of movement, increasing the distance they can move by a number of feet based on how many Veils have been dropped.

Another layer of clothing dropped, more of the body on show, every muscle and curve accentuated, it makes it hard not to drool and lose yourself in the movements. When this veil is dropped the usual effects of the Fighting Style activate however there is more to this veil. When this veil is activated, the sight and the building tension can cause blood vessels to burst, dependign on the victim's seduction limit, if they are looking at and are attracted to the user, they start losing blood every PT that they spend staring at the user, this is enhanced at 4 Veils dropped and 6 Veils Dropped, though this blood loss cannot reduce them below a total of C-Rank blood as it is not fatal.

| Indra coughed, a small amount of blood appearing in his hand and frowned, that wasn't good. Looking up, he noticed his attack had landed but in the grand scheme of things did little. He was also surprised to see that two of the three versions of Anahita seemed completely unphased as if they hadn't even noticed. That meant, at the very least, they weren't just regular clones. Interesting. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only interesting thing on the battlefield presently. Above him, Anahita seemed to almost take pleasure in the lightning strike and was beginning to move in a way that Indra found...pleasantly unnerving. He licked his lips without a thought and swallowed. Hard. Thankfully, no one in the crowd was close enough to hear a nearly whispered, Meep. escape the boy's lips. The copies descended upon him, reaching out for him, and for the briefest of moments, he considered letting them. However, he kicked into gear just as they neared and managed to jump backward out of the way, leaving them grasping at the air. He pivoted as he landed, running to the right and then back towards Anahita. As he did, he fished the last pill out of his pocket and popped it into his mouth. With a dry swallow, it was down and he immediately felt better, but the weight of what he had just done felt crushing. This was it, the endgame. Indra ran for all he was worth, his blade scraping through the syrup capture field, before leaping towards Arahita and slashing in an upward, diagonal arc. As he did, the syrup capture field seemed to envelop his blade, drawing itself around the sword before exploding forward in a sickle of water. - Techs:

Description: Wakiten, or Surging Heaven, is a unique attack wherein the user takes an unorthodox stance with their blade held close to the ground. The user then charges forward towards their target before sweeping their blade upward in a wide arc. This technique deals damage equal to the user's Strength, however the purpose of this technique lay in the sweep itself not whether or not it lands. The user transfers all the momentum from their charge into their blade as they swing, the speed of the motion causing a vacuum to form and launch forwards at the user's target. When performed on solid ground, it creates a blade of air that deals Physical Wind Release Slicing Damage, when on loose or granular earth it deals Physical Earth Release Slicing Damage while when performed on water it deals Physical Water Release Slicing Damage, all equal to the Strength used, potentially allowing the user to deal multiple counts of damage. As the user grows more talented they will be capable of performing multiple slashes with a single use of the technique. | The clones made a few noises of annoyance as Indra simply ran around them and they both started to chase him down. Anahita for her part smirked and covered a mouth with one of her fans, shifting around to make sure she kept him in sight even if he was moving very fast now. That lightning armour was going to be problematic but she was sure he was running out of something that would make this fight far easier. She flourished her fans and readied herself to move in for a dodge so that she could activate more of her Genjutsu. When she moved in however, Indra swung his blade and for a moment she thought he hadn't learned his lesson and the attack was going to be a normal physical strike. It was only at the last moment did she see the water coating the blade and the sickle that was launched towards her. She dived to the side as quickly as she could but the blade slashed across her leg. Usually this would be fine, it wouldn't do enough damage to incapacitate her but there was one big problem... It was Water. Immediately her Sol Fire switched off and with that her large glowing feathers disappeared and she plummmeted out of the air and into the water with a splash. When she tried to move her hands and legs were stuck in the syrup and she let out a quiet sigh before flicking her hair out of her face and turning to look at Indra. "Well, what a position you've got me in, hm? I hope you feel at least a little satisfied, my dear." She flashed him a wink and mimed a kiss to him before shaking some of the water off. "I yield, I yield." She called out and once someone came down to pull her out of the water she smiled at Indra. "Good job, come visit me at the Fushicho compound and I'll give you another reward, hm?" As she was pulled away to get some medical attention she also made sure to mouth across the field to him 'I'm only seventeen by the way, don't worry' before being taken away. The proctor came down himself and gave Indra a firm pat on the shoulder and a big smile. "We have our victor! Indra Taki-Erlang! Well done, kid, you head back home and get some rest. | Indra landed from the leap, stumbling a bit, but staying upright. He was breathing hard now. Even with the help of the soldier pill he was running out of gas. His throat hurt, his chest still burned and ached from the previous fight and overall, he was just plain tired. Um, okay? Indra said hesitantly to Anahita revealing she was seventeen. For a moment, his mind wandered to what visiting Anahita alone might be like. However, he quickly shook his head, dismissing such thoughts and reminding himself that it was probably just some of the after-effects of her strange jutsu. Yes, that was it. It had to be the reason. It was an honor to fight you. Indra said, bowing to Anahita while the med-nin appeared to dislodge her from the goop. Unlike the others, she'd most likely only need some minor help and Indra was thankful for that. His goal was never to really hurt anyone during these exams. Thank you, sir. Indra said with a respectful nod, he was too tired for any more bowing. With his dismissal, the new Tokubetsu Jonin strode proudly across the exam field, head held high. As soon as he crossed the threshold however and was out of view of the crowd, Indra collapsed to the floor and lay facing the sky, arms splayed out and embracing the cool stone floor with joy. That had been utterly exhausting and he knew he would sleep for a few days when he eventually made it home. The chunin escort seemed to regard him with a knowing smile, but stepped away to leave him to his business. He had done it. He had finally accomplished what felt like his childhood had been spent training for. She had given up on him and he had proved her wrong almost immediately afterward. It was time to start tracking her down and showing her just how wrong she had been. Several minutes later, Indra would finally gather himself and stand.
