Name: Vapor Release: Haze
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-rank (Price Varies)
Class: Supplementary
Range: AoE
Description: The user releases a cloud of vapor with properties dependent on the type of material being sublimated. Similar to the Hidden Mist technique, being composed of both materia and chakra, neither regular or chakra vision users are able to see within this haze cloud. The size of the cloud can be increased depending on how much chakra the user puts into the technique, allowing for widespread confusion and disorientation. The real danger of this technique though is that while almost anyone can breathe within mist, the haze creates a suffocating effect for any creature unable to breathe the vapor of whatever materia was used. Due to being infused with the user's chakra and his/her adaption to Vapor Release, the user can breathe freely within the haze. An area dispersal technique equivalent to the amount of chakra used for the smog is required to clear the smog.

Name: Vapor Release: Acceleration Sphere
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-rank
Class: Offensive
Range: Short
Description: The user gathers and condenses their chosen vapor type in the palm of their hand until they have something roughly the size of a baseball. The sphere is then released at speeds equal to the user’s rank, moving faster depending on the user’s skill and strikes the target dealing C-rank bludgeoning damage. If the target does not possess at least C-rank strength tiers, they are knocked off their feet.
Name: Vapor Release: Haze Sensory
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-rank
Class: Supplementary
Range: Self
Description: Vapor Release: Haze, or an advanced version of that technique, is required to utilize Vapor Release: Haze Sensory. Once within the Haze cloud, the user must be able to see, locate and react to targets near them. This technique allows them to sense the location and movements of any creatures within their Haze cloud by detecting the displacement of the vapor in the air. Only those with C-rank or higher hiding techniques designed to hide their physical body/form are able to hide within a Vapor Release user’s Haze cloud. Those with reaction tiers can actually take this one step further, heightening their awareness and ability to react to an opponent’s movements within the Haze.

Name: Vapor Release: Shroud of Vapor
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-rank
Class: Supplementary
Range: Self
Description: This technique involves the user wrapping themselves in their vapor release, essentially creating a shroud around their person. It has been described as a lesser, or beginner version, of a chakra mode. The vapor shroud clings to the user’s person, emanating as wisps off of their skin and clothing, but moves with them as they move. As a result, the user’s physical techniques have their range extended, resulting in short range techniques striking up to mid-range and mid-range techniques striking up to long-range. This technique consumes a C-rank of chakra each post it is active and protects the user from C-rank physical and chakra-based techniques not strong against Vapor Release.
Name: Vapor Release: Smog
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: A-rank
Class: Supplementary
Range: AoE
Description: This is the advanced version of Vapor Release: Haze. The user releases a cloud of vapor with properties dependent on the type of material being sublimated. Similar to the Hidden Mist technique, being composed of both materia and chakra, neither regular or chakra vision users are able to see within this smog cloud. The size of the cloud can be increased depending on how much chakra the user puts into the technique, allowing for widespread confusion and disorientation. The real danger of this technique though is that while almost anyone can breathe within mist, the smog creates a suffocating effect for any creature unable to breathe the vapor of whatever materia was used. Due to being infused with the user's chakra and his/her adaption to Vapor Release, the user can breathe freely within the smog. An area dispersal technique equivalent to the amount of chakra used for the smog is required to clear the smog.

- Distillation Effect Line:
Name: Vapor Release: Distillation Effect*
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: B-rank
Class: Supplementary
Range:
Description: A vapor release user with this technique has achieved a heightened level of control with their vapor release, allowing them to contaminate a target’s blood on contact with their vapor release. Upon contact with skin, vapor seeps into the target’s blood stream. This will slowly poison all affected over a period of 180 posts. The more contact the target makes with Vapor Release techniques, the lower the post count before death by poisoning. A target can only survive this effect if healed by a B-rank or higher Medical Ninjutsu tech specifically designed for extracting poisons.

*Note: This technique was originally marked as a passive for Jiko, but I think we did away with passive techniques other than the initial clan passives, so I marked it as Supplementary now. Need mod’s decision on that.
- Dissolve Effect Line:
Name: Vapor Release: Dissolve Effect
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: B-rank
Class: Supplementary
Range: AoE
Description: The user makes hand signs and slams both palms together causing a large amount of their vapor in the area to become dissolvable into liquids such as water, blood, acid, and the like. While dissolved in it, the targeted liquid now takes on the properties of the user's Vapor Release, which usually results in the liquid becoming toxic to opponents that either attempt to breathe in it via gills or swallow it. When used in combination with Vapor Release: Distillation Effect, simply making contact with the tainted liquid is enough to affect a target. This technique is particularly potent when used with the Vapor Release: Smog Effect technique line. Anyone harmed by this technique requires a B-rank or higher Medical Ninjutsu tech specifically designed for extracting poisons. If the target possesses Endurance tiers equal to the technique used, they are unaffected.

**Note: I have no idea what a fair timer would look like for poisoning. This is mildly based on the Distillation Effect which carried over from the old version of that technique and that timer was already pretty wonky.
- Suffocation Effect Line:
Name: Vapor Release: Suffocation Effect
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: B
Class: Supplementary
Range: AoE
Description: Vapor release techniques will now have the effect of suffocating opponents that are trapped within them over a period of time with the more amount of vapor techniques used lowering the countdown. The total countdown is 40 posts total before the target completely suffocates. This technique can only be used in closed spaces and not in open-air environments.
