Techniques of Danu's Tribe: Eostre Empty
PostSubject: Techniques of Danu's Tribe: Eostre   Techniques of Danu's Tribe: Eostre Icon_minitime3rd July 2021, 5:39 am

Name: Tuath De Shillelagh
Classification: Fighting Style
Rank: D
Class: Supplementary
Range: Self (Weapon)

Description: The core technique of the Tribe with which Eostre belongs, and the beginning of the main style with which they all make use of Nature. The Shillelagh technique is taught to all younglings who can mold chakra no matter how little, as it allows them to bond with nature through their personalised weaponry of natural wood, typically staves or clubs, often grown themselves from a single sapling. Upon mastering the technique, the users are able to mold chakra through their wooden implements, and can mold the wood to perform a variety of additional techniques and uses. However the main part of the technique, allows their techniques to deal optionally elementless physical damage, or Nature Hybrid damage for an additional chakra cost depending upon the technique. The durability of the techniques is determined by the strength and qualities of the wood used to make the weapon.

Name: Tuath De Ancaire
Classification: Ninkenjutsu
Rank: C (-2 Stamina, C-rank chakra)
Class: Defensive
Range: Self

Description: Through the use of the natural wood weapons the user wields, they are capable of a variety of manipulations. One such method is the use of the Ancaire to technique. In order to perform the technique, the user places within their weapon nature chakra equal up to the strength they use, and slam the hilt of their weapon in to the ground. The wooden weapon then grows first around the wrist of the wielder, and in to the ground and spreading like roots. This in turn creates an anchor with the weapon, allowing the wielder to use less strength when they would have to hold themselves in place. If the user possesses C-rank strength, they can combine it with this technique in order to gain a B-rank anchor. However by going to higher ranks of Strength, this technique instead grants a 2 tier level boost.

Name: Tuath De Iascaigh
Classification: Ninkenjutsu
Rank: C (-2 Stamina, C-rank chakra)
Class: Offensive
Range: Mid (weapon)

Description: Through the use of the natural wood weapons the user wields, they are capable of a variety of manipulations. One such method is the use of the Iascaigh technique. In order to perform the technique, the user places within their weapon a C-rank of chakra, and holds the weapon out and away from them in both hands. Recognising the active technique is more difficult for an onlooker, but for the user they feel the wooden weapon growing more maleable. By swinging the weapon, much like one uses a fishing pole, the wooden weapon can stretch and fly at her target up to 20ft. This is done using the user's strength, and travels at one tier rank lower speeds, or C-rank speed if the user does not possess Strength tiers. Whilst this isn’t the only technique for something similar, Iascaigh is unique in that it is not a relatively offensive technique, more it is used as a binding and grabbing technique.

Name: Tuath De Diarmail
Classification: Ninkenjutsu
Rank: C (-2 Stamina, C-rank chakra)
Class: Defensive
Range: Self (weapon)

Description: Through the use of the natural wood weapons the user wields, they are capable of a variety of manipulations. One such method is the use of the Diarmail technique, a technique created to counter weapon uses, and to even disarm them. Using methods of other Tuath De techniques, the user places a chakra in to the weapon at any time before, and blocking a weapon attack with it. Once the contact is made, and Diarmail triggered, the wood of the staff is encouraged to rapidly grow around the blocked weapon. From there, the user can pull and disarm the opponent if they possess C-rank or below strength tiers. If the user also possesses strength tiers, this technique can go further to dealing with stronger opponents, with the target requiring strength tiers one rank below the users.

Name: Tuath De Loine
Classification: Ninkenjutsu
Rank: C (-2 Stamina, C-rank chakra)
Class: Offensive
Range: Self (weapon)

Description: Through the use of the natural wood weapons the user wields, they are capable of a variety of manipulations. The Loine technique follows similar standards as the rest of the technique line. With the Loine technique, it is perhaps the most versatile for usage. Putting chakra in to the natural wooden weapon, with the amount changing depending on how fast and how much of a shift occurs, the user can cause their weapon to grow rapidly in a direction straight from the ‘hilt’ or the edge. In simple terms, the Loine technique allows rapid growth to be used to extend the reach of the weapon, most commonly used for staves from one side, without affection the area of wood being gripped, allowing for shoves and pushes and vaults. An opponent hit by a sudden extension will recieve damage relative to the chakra put in, and requires higher than a C-rank strength tier to hold themself in place.
Chakra - Additional length - Force - Speed of Growth
D - 5ft - D
C - 10ft - D++
B - 15ft - C
A - 20ft - B
S - 25ft - A

Name: Tuath De Crua
Classification: Ninkenjutsu
Rank: C (variable stamina, C-chakra)
Class: Supplementary
Range: Self (weapon)

Description: Req. Plant God passive. The Crua technique of the Tuath De line is one not many are capable of accessing, requiring more than simple chakra control, as only those already possessing the Dokusei Clan’s Plant God ability are able to really take advantage. Through the use of Crua, they are able to enact the Plant God technique on their natural wood weapons, encouraging whole new levels of growth and natural manipulation. Through the use of expending stamina, the users can cause their weapons to change properties in small ways for short times, depending upon their skill level and rank, to increase their durability by tier levels, allowing their weapons to be used in more versatile ways without risk of breaking.
User Rank - Fatigue - Durability Increase
D - 2 - 1
C - 4 -  2
B - 6 - 3
A - 8 - 4
S - 10 - 5
