Description: The waters of Paradise aren't the only ones getting rowdy as of late. Many new prospects for a Yonko seat have emerged as the New World has swelled with new generations of crews, without a single one of these Emperors losing their spot yet. Amongst these prospects is a man who is seemingly talented in everything he puts his mind to, "Gilded Dragon" Caprice. We won't go into details of his exploits and dealings, but he's not a man who's bad side you want to be on despite his charming nature.

To get some of his newer recruits some field experience, he's decided to send them back to Paradise with a right of passage, before he begins his next campaign. "Destroy all the Sea Trains. I want to see who takes the lead when this new batch has fight for their keep."

They've been permitted to use the name of their crew, the "Caprice Pirates" to further their cause and even recruit forces to aid them in their trial.

Respect - First and foremost roleplay is a hobby and something we do for fun. Some enjoy combat more, are more serious about it, and more skilled at it than others. Regardless of where we fall, we should always respect those we engage in it with and not turn it into a personal affair. Nothing should be an attack against a person as an RPer and we should remember that at the end of the day, this is just a game.

Damage Should you get hit with a PC or Staff controlled NPC, this is to help you understand what damage you would take. There is always still room for things to be different.

Fatal: is something that can kill you in one hit without having to be too precise.

Severe: is along the lines of putting someone in a dire state where they are at risk of dying in due time or just a substantial amount of damage.

Major: damage isn't as bad as the two above it obviously, but it's still nothing to shrug at and can put you in a state where your life is on the line. Broken Bones. 3rd - semi 4th degree burns. Cuts to the bone.

Moderate: encompasses things that can be shrugged off, but are still relevant and take a toll on you. Bruised bones and fractures. 2nd degree burns.

Minor: wounds are things you can brush off. Knicks and scratches, bruises, 1st degree burns. Sure they hurt, but they're not gonna really slow you down much or make you stop fighting.

Strength & Power vs Durability
Durability Superior by 2 Points+ = No Damage
Durability Superior by 1 Point = Minor - No Damage
Deadlock = Minor - Major Damage
Strength & Power Superior by 1 Point = Moderate - Major Damage
Strength & Power Superior by 2 Points = Major Damage
Strength & Power Superior by 3 Points = Severe - Fatal Damage
Strength & Power Superior by 4 Points = Fatal Damage

Recovery Topics
Sometimes your character will suffer substantial damage. This includes, but isn't limited to things like limb loss, horrible bone breaks, burns, or even strikes that cause concussions and knock your character out. If this is the case, moderators will often order your character to do a Recovery Topic. This must be a non-combat topic and includes your character recovering from their injury or coping with it in some way shape or form. You can even be ordered to seek out a Doctor to treat your injury, it is all case by case. This is only the case for damage that is a result of PvP. PvP is considered to be any player vs player or player vs a staff controlled NPC altercation.

Post Interruption - On some forums post interruption isn't a thing, but here it exist and is allowed without need for consent. Post interruption is as it sounds, it is interrupting someone's post with the actions that occur in your post. Should you be interested in combat RP, learning how to and when the best time to interrupt post is vital.

Exit Interruption - Exit interruption is just like post interruption, but involves stopping someone from exiting a post. The only thing that needs to be said about this is that if someone post exiting a topic you have 24 hours to interrupt their exit as opposed to the traditional 48 hours to post.

Hit Claiming - Hit Claiming occurs when either a person has failed to respond to an attack within the 48 hours they are allotted or they have failed to properly respond with a defense or evasion to an attack made against them. Hit claiming must occur once it is the person who made the attack's turn. This is because a full rotation of rp must have gone by giving other participants a chance to possibly prevent the hit from landing.

When the time to claim hits comes the claimer should supply solid evidence through use of quotes showing why the person in question has gotten hit. If it is questionable if the person is hit or not a battle mod will step in and determine the outcome.

Meta Gaming - This is using information your character shouldn't or has no way of knowing to influence what they do. If you are in a topic and something monumental happens in another topic you are not in, you can not gain information about this event until you enter a new topic. Be fair, no one likes Meta Gaming.

God-Modding - God Modding is taking control of a PC or NPC that isn't yours. This is against the rules unless you have a Skill approved by Staff that allows this.

Auto Hitting - Auto Hitting is claiming hits or saying you hit a PC or Staff controlled NPC in the same post the hits were attempted. In Role Play things are turn based and all players must have the opportunity react to actions executed. This is not allowed.

Power Playing - Power playing is when one exaggerates the capabilities of their characters. It can be small things like where one acts as if their character experiences no fatigue after a long line of physically costly actions or be something as major as a person illogically dodging a myriad of actions. Power playing is not allowed.

Placeholders - Placeholders are when people post in IC topics without actual IC content in attempt to hold their spot in a rotation/posting order. If someone attempts to do this, you can ignore it if you'd like to.

Edit Markers - On the contrary edit markers are post in IC topics without actual IC content that are used to track if the previous post has been edited after the marker has been posted.

Editing - Editing in a topic is not allowed unless all participants in the topic agree to allow the edit. This is more so a Combat Topic issue and will automatically resort in the post in question being voided.

Excessive Vague Manipulation - Vague Manipulation is supplying details where details was not supplied. Say Bobby ran at Timmy and tried to punch him. Vague Manipulation would be Timmy specifying Bobby punched with his left or right hand. It may seem like God Modding, but it is not, because Timmy is not taking control of Bobby's character, he is simply providing details that Bobby left out while still letting Bobby execute his punch.

Vague Manipulation is allowed, but in modest moderation and definitely not used as the sole cause of someone's demise. It shouldn't be used to make someone break their own neck or cut themselves to death. We want people to learn, so Vague Manipulation should only be used to gain a slight advantage over people should they lack details within their post. Someone failing to mention they moved out of the way of their own attack or jumping off of a multistory building of undefined height is another story. Excessive Vague Manipulation is not allowed.

Death from burning, suffocation, bleeding out, drowning, any other way that isn't caused instantly for the most part takes 3 post to happen. This is still a highly debatable topic as the degree of things can change the severity. If one has a question regarding this timer, a moderator should be contacted before the next post of the one in question comes.

Voiding - Voiding occurs only after a moderator has made an official ruling on a dispute. When there are inconsistencies or rules broken in a post, it can be voided if a dispute about it is made. Voiding results in the post being ignored/erased and the person who got their post voided losing that turn.

In the World Of One Piece and on Strawhats, Crafting is the system through which players can use their specific trades to create inventions. As for what can be created, that's completely in the hands of the creator!

Note, the right combination of occupations or the right occupation will be needed to create Inventions of a more complex nature (see more in next section). By default, you can gain a minimum 10 Crafting Points from any threads where actions are made towards discovering or innovating an invention. This is not limited to buying items from a shop, it could be researching blueprints, stealing books, grave digging libraries and tombs, the choice is yours. The grander the action, the higher the turn out rate. Also, minimal efforts such as one liners or cheap setups will not be rewarded.

How does Crafting Work?
The basis of Crafting is, get Crafting Points (CP), spend CP to create Inventions you've registered, accumulate Crafting Experience (CEXP) to rise through the Crafting Ranks, then make more complex Inventions as your Crafting Rank increases.

Crafting Points
CP is the currency of the Crafting world. It is gained, to be spent. CP is awarded from crafting centric Voyages and Gran Voyages that make use of one's Non-Combat Occupation. May this be using one's occupational knowledge to solve a problem or even making use of one of their Inventions, these Voyages and Gran Voyages do not have to be about Crafting itself.

CP can also be gained in threads that aren't Voyages or Gran Voyages where actions associated with crafting, gaining knowledge, etc are taken. Examples are researching, drawing blueprints, shopping for materials, so on and so forth. Throw away lines to try to get a small sum of CP in your topics will not successfully get you CP. A serious effort must be made to gain CP in a topic that is not a Voyage or Gran Voyage.

CP is stored on the side of your profile, along with CEXP, to be edited by Staff.

Crafting Experience
CEXP is awarded for every CP spent to create an Invention. The more experience you garner, represents your notoriety and skill level when it comes to your Occupation. You'll have two scores essentially, your Craft Points (CP) which fluctuate as they are spent and gained. Then your Crafting Experience, which only rises as you spend CP.

Inventions
Inventions are created by you, the member *here* in the Invention Area. Inventions have a few base criteria, but more can be added if the member wishes or a Staff member requests it. For Inventions that are Equipment, the Inventor should use the Equipment Template.

Invention Class: (A, B or C etc.)
Invention Description: (Please be precise on dimensions, size, colour and shapes. This section is strictly for the appearance of the invention. This does not focus on the effect of invention.)
Invention Capabilities: (Explain what the Invention does. Be specific and cover all the details you can. Range, duration, Speed, Power, etc.)

Class
Class works to separate basic Inventions from more complex Inventions. Generally speaking, the higher the Class of an Invention the more uses, effects, and or potency it will have. Classes range from D to A, D being most basic and A being most complex. If you aren't sure what Class your Invention is, the Staff member who grades your Invention will assist you in assigning one.

D Class Inventions Cost 10 CP. Award 25 CEXP.
C Class Inventions Cost 15 CP. Awards the user 75 CEXP.
B Class Inventions Cost 50 CP. Awards the user 125 CEXP.
A Class Inventions Cost 100 CP. Awards the user 500 CEXP.


For Shipwrights, they operate on their own cost and reward system due to the complexity of the Occupation.

Class D Shipwright can craft a Freedom vessel for 30 CP. Awards 75 CEXP.
Class C Shipwright can craft a Caravel vessel for 60 CP. Awards 150 CEXP.
Class B Shipwright can craft a Brig vessel for 300 CP. Awards 500 CEXP. Shipwright can also craft a Brigantine vessel for 180 CP. Awards 350 CEXP.
Class A Shipwright can craft a Brigantine vessel for 800 CP. Awards 1,000 CEXP.
When one gains the ability to upgrade the Capacity Slot of vessels, it cost 10 CP each slot. Awards 25 CEXP per Capacity Slot added.
When one gains the ability to make a Vessel a Submarine, it cost 50 CP to do this regardless of what type of Ship it is. Awards 125 CEXP.
When one gains the ability to upgrade the Artillery Points of vessels, it cost 20 CP per slot. This awards 75 CEXP per Slot added.


Crafting Ranks
Crafting Ranks are what separate master craftsman from the novices. You need a higher skill level and more knowledge to make more advanced creations. Put into terms of this system, the more CEXP you have, the higher you Crafting Rank. The higher your Crafting Rank, the higher Class Inventions you can make.

Beginner Inventor: From registration of character, this is what you are in any profession. The most basic of the basic. You can craft D Class Inventions at this level. 0-249 CEXP.

Craftsman Inventor: You've made a few inventions of the most basic class, and this is your way of life. You can craft C Class Inventions at this level. 250-1,000 CEXP.

Master Inventor: You're a professional. No fancy words can describe it. You've created endless amounts of basic to intermediate inventions at this point but what really sets you apart is your attention to detail. You can also create combinational items, merging two or more occupations to create game changing inventions. You can craft B Class Inventions at this level. 1,000-4,999 CEXP.

Vegapunk Inventor: You'll have to pour a large amount of work into your craft to reach this level. Once you do, no one can deny that you are one of the greatest in your field. The Inventions you create at this level are monumental and can change the course of the future. You can craft A Class Inventions at this level. 5,000+ CEXP.

Jutsu Information

In order to fight on the forum one must utilize a type of jutsu which may or may not consume chakra, blood price, require a seal, life-force, sacrifices etc. Because Jutsu plays such an important role on the site the subject matter below will inform you on what you need to know to have a successful role-playing experience on NB.

Concerning all types of Jutsu

1. Jutsu from the Manga, Anime & Movies are allowed as long as you convert them to the sites template and post them in Jutsu Registration. These can be found on the Naruto Wikia if you are unsure where to look for them. In addition custom jutsu creation is welcome as long as you likewise post them in Jutsu Registration for approval.

2. This is a non-canon site and takes plays Seven Hundred years after the events of the canon timeline. That being said this is also AU and the events that marked the end of the canon timeline differ on this site.

Because of this Canon clans are all but extinct on the forum instead multiple new clans have been made some which share subtle traits with the canon clans others which don't at all. Because of that Canon Clan techniques are typically not allowed unless they have been reincarnated in one of the clans on the site.

In addition the following Jutsu are not allowed on the forum no matter what (Mainly because they are pretty specific so...)

This arc has two pieces, one that anyone can take so the site has something fun to do as people rank up and genin squads are potentially established. The other is intended to be a story arc for Indra, which I've been subtly writing and alluding to throughout his time as a Genin. Anyone can accompany Indra on his branch of missions, but he MUST be there for them. Depending on interest, or lack thereof in the Anyone missions, things can be adjusted accordingly (IE the S-rank and SS-rank missions becoming more of site-wide events than just missions depending on staff's desires).

Hiragana’s Survival Story – A Comedy of Chaos

Imagine Hiragana, not unlike an Oda-style character—utterly chaotic, unpredictable, and yet somehow always alive despite the odds. You’d think he’d have died a hundred times over from his reckless antics, but no, Hiragana’s got a knack for survival. How does he do it? By eating everything and making an Edo clone of himself. That’s right. Instead of the usual death and rebirth, Hiragana’s just consuming everything—from the surrounding forest to the occasional unlucky passing wanderer—and then poof! Edo clone time!

Hiragana’s favorite pastime? Losing his own body weight in food daily. And when things got really bad, he’d drop a bit of his chakra into the mix to bring back his younger self. Not to mention, he’d send his little Edo clone to an ordinary school outside the world of Shinobi. Why? Because why not? It’s hilarious watching his innocent clone sit in a classroom, completely unaware of the wrecking ball of chaos that is his true self—who’s probably out there eating an entire buffet or antagonizing an Alpha pack somewhere.

So how does this process work? First, he devours every scrap of food in sight—this could include, but isn’t limited to, animals, plants, and even the occasional hostile entity who’s just too tasty. Once he’s stuffed full, he uses a mix of chakra to shed his current form—into a chunkier, less heroic version of himself, often resembling an absurdly large, fur-covered beast. He then sends his Edo clone to “school” so the clone can… well, not remember any of this. The clone gets to live the life of a humble student, learning all those basic things, like math, while Hiragana? He’s just off in the background getting involved in some war, eating whole villages, and maybe making some enemies. You know, the usual.

Taishoku’s Real Body – The Mysterious Hideout

Now, as for Taishoku? This guy has been doing the exact opposite of Hiragana. He’s hiding his real body—because honestly, why deal with the headache of existence when you can just let the world think you’re a lesser version of yourself? You see, Taishoku isn’t a fool. He’s out there, somewhere in a dark, forgotten corner of the world, keeping his true form under wraps, biding his time. The world can believe whatever it wants, let it think he’s just a chill observer.

But as Hiragana wreaks havoc and makes clones like some divine prankster, Taishoku’s out there playing the long game. He’s got a couple of plans up his sleeve, and none of them involve showing up to the battlefield anytime soon. Because why fight when you can wait and let someone like Hiragana do all the messy work? Let’s just say, Taishoku’s not worried—he’s just… chilling in the shadows while Hiragana eats and plays, and occasionally demanding to belong to a pack.

In true Oda fashion, this entire scenario is a mix of absurdity, wild transformations, and the kind of chaotic comedy where you can’t help but wonder how any of it will end. Will Hiragana’s clones start a school revolution? Will his gluttony eventually consume the world, or will Taishoku make an entrance when no one expects it? Time will tell—but one thing’s for sure: these two? They’re not your typical heroes.
