[EVENT: Son Goku Attack] Four Tailed Meltdown

Taigakai was hanging out in the lower sectors, it was almost like a catacombs that was secluded from noise of the village itself, leaving only echoed murmurs. However, today seemed a bit different. The slightest reverberations were frequent today. Was it an earthquake? Even then, the tremors were never this frequent.

For a while, the tremors remained light, but as they steadily grew rougher, that brought forth a concern. The growing noise and tremor of the village seemed to share the same thought. As the noise of the tremors grew, it was more apparent these sounded like footsteps until there was a loud crack and a roar as the target was revealed to be a bijuu.

Why was there a tailed beast here attacking the village? Either way, Taigakai knew that fight was way over his head. A few moments pause in awe that this was happened and a shout struck him back to his senses.

He looked around and immediately followed orders being shouted out, save civilians, evacuate the village. His personal priority was his family, he’d hope his parents made it out safe if he didn’t get to them first. But personal objectives aside, he had to make sure civilians didn’t get crushed by rubble or drowned and burned by the tailed beast.

He spent a D-rank of chakra to activate his Gekigan, only to seek out for humanoid shaped bodies or beloved animals of people that would otherwise have been hidden by the mess of rock falling everywhere. Without hesitation, Taigakai tapped onto himself, making him light enough to dart at A rank speeds. The faster, the better. He needed to help people get out quickly, and this was the best method for him to do so.

As risky as it was, he would start helping call for civilians to get out of their homes and direct them to where everyone else was going, away from the beast. He’d have to keep an eye on it too though, in case it started to target someone directly. He moved quickly, rounding up the rear of the civilians in the area and checking around to make sure sections were clearing.

Techniques:

Sitting at the training grounds Alan would stop as he drank his water for the day, the sudden tremors. Would cause him to look around but for the most part he would not think anything of it. Due to training he would have all of his supplys neatly next to him including his golf club and baseball bat along with a few baseball bats and golf balls for practice. After the first few tremors he would stand and look over the lower sector a noticeable concern would show on his face and he would grab his things and start running toward the civilian section of the lower sector. Everyone was doing there job and after stopping and talking to a passing ninja Alan would have the situation in detail; there seemed to be a bijuu attack he didn’t really care about the beast he couldn’t handle it as of yet and if it attacked the village he had a job. He would start directing civilians toward the elevators as he moved toward the elders houses he knew that they had no way of getting out so he would focus on putting them all inside one house for know using his D-Rank strength to get two inside a smaller house at a time.

The tremors throughout the day only grew worst and resulted in a shocking revelation, Hakagakure was under attack by Son Goku of The inferno. It’s been well over a century since the land of Graves had witness a bijuu attack. Now this generation of prodigies were left to defend against such a threat. Fortunately, Hakagakure was prepared. The Gurekage sprung into action as the village alarms rang throughout. Like a well oiled machine the shinobi of Hakagakure wasted no time and showed little to no panic. They knew what they had to do, and that if they were going to get through this; that they’ll need to work together.

Protecting the civilians and preventing as many casualties as possible. Such was the mindset of Taigakai ,who even as a Genin has proven to be an invaluable asset to the ASN. Today was no exception as he rushed to bring civilians out of their homes and to the safe zone. He used his gekigan to detect humanoid shapes within rumble and nearby buildings. He even lightened himself to make haste in dangerous situations. Surely his sensei would’ve been proud.

It didn’t take long at all for another Genin to spot Taigakai evacuating the civilians. This Genin was extremely overweight. As he ninja ran his heavy breathing would alert everyone around him. There was no grace in his movements and as he came to a stop he’d stumble a bit attempting to grab Taigakai’s shoulders to break his fall. “H..heeeyyyy! You gotta be that.. that Taigakai fella, or not fella? Yes fella! Or .. yeaaa, not a fella? Anyway, you were picked ....” All of a sudden he’d stop reporting and just fall to one knee to huff and puff.

Meanwhile all around them chaos is ensuing and the screams of the people can be heard. He’d catch his breath and continued reporting but as he spoke his stomach just kept moving in a circular and up-down motion.”You were chosen to deliver this scroll! Due to your recent experience they don’t trust anyone else to do it. You must be quick. Inside that scroll are supplies for the west side hospital. They trusted me to only to inform you and hand you the scroll; something about me being too out of shape. But it’s bullshit! I’ll take care of the civilians over here you go!”

He’d hand over the scroll and begin to escort the people that Taigakai just rescued. There was a good chance that they’d get to the destination safely, but the out of shape Genin really didn’t offer much confidence to that end. Meanwhile more screaming could be heard as some nearby houses catch fire. One still had  a family(size 5) inside. They were too petrified to come out of hiding and now that the house caught on fire, they were trapped. The out of shape Genin who we will refer to as Lil Pip(what his friends call him) was completely unaware of the situation going on with the family. There was soo much going on and soo much noise that he didn’t pick up the family’s cries for help and continued on his path. He’d not get too far just yet, but he was moving the group forward while occasionally dropping to his knees to catch a breath.

Taigakai has a few choices he could make. He could continue on with his new mission and get these much needed supplies to the west hospital, he could save the family from their grim fortune, he could also not trust Lil Pip to escort the civilians that he had rescued, or he could chose to do neither. The situation was in his hands and fate had trusted him with this. Surely, he’ll have his hands full today but he isn’t the only one.

Alan Hulton being the disciplined student that he is, started his day training and becoming more proficient in his craft. He also experience the tremors throughout the day and when the bijuu made its presence known; he’d also spring into action. Hakagakure has really prepared their youth for the worst, since he knew exactly what he should’ve been doing.

He went in to direct civilians towards elevators that would lead them towards escorts that’ll take them to safety. But Alan wasn’t content with just doing the bare minimum. It seems that his heart was pulling him towards the elderly and their safety. Using his D-rank strength he’d gather them two at a time and  place them  inside a smaller house. It’s possible that the logic was that smaller houses were less likely to be hit by the debris than the larger houses they were originally in.

As he started to do this a Genin would take notice and make her way towards him. “Aye yo whatchu doing kid? “ She’d turn to see a number of elderly in the smaller house nearby. She’d grunt realizing what she’d have to do, but this area was not a safe one to keep any of those elderly in, they’d have to evacuate them.  She’d reach into her ninja pouch and pull out a yellow smoke bomb .  At the same moment she’d spin her body to jump horizontally and use that momentum to launch the smoke bomb high into the air.

It’d explode into a yellow screen which would signify the need for low level reinforcements.  “Stay here. Everyone stay low!” She’d instructed as Genin began to fall in . She’d only point towards the elderly in both houses and the reinforcements knew exactly what to do. Each of them would carry one or two , while some would take advantage of a nearby fruit wagon. “Good job, your name?” She’d wait a few seconds and move him forward while continuing to speak, “the students are north east of here. Go there now and stop for nothing, am I clear?!” She’d wait for a confirmation that he heard what she said, then as quick as she came; she was gone.

Alan was now instructed to report to the north east side and to stop for nothing. By the urgency in her voice it was safe to assume that he’d be needed there and that the students would not be waiting for him to arrive. But of course, Alan didn’t have to listen either. This was an emergency situation and many people were suffering and in need of help.  He had the options of staying a bit longer to ensure the area is clear, or he could follow the orders given and make his way towards the north east side.

If he’d chose to stay, he’d detect a faint sound. Alan could go and investigate this but it’d send him in the opposite direction of where he was instructed to go. He could follow the orders given and head on over. If he chose to do that instead, Alan would  stumble upon a young boy around the age of 15.  This boy would be screaming in pain because his left leg was caught under some heavy debris. Alas this all could be none of young Alan’s business. He could simple do what he’s told and meet up with the other students. The choice was up to the disciplined student, Alan Hulton.

Rules:

Taigakai was busy looking around only to feel a sudden weight on his back. He turned around to be greeted by someone who was a physical polar opposite to him, out of breath already despite the emergency still starting. Though this genin seemed to be fairly determined to keep going despite his condition. That alone was good enough of a mindset for him.

While he couldn't do much for the guy's stamina, he could probably help a little with something. Taigakai took the scroll and placed a hand on the genin, lightening him enough to allow him to move at D-rank speeds a little more easily. Though, the slightest shift in his eyes caught his attention to a family caught in blazing ruin. He slipped the scroll into the strap connected to his gourd and stepped around the genin, turning back briefly to say,"Good luck!", before speeding off towards the family of five trapped. He shouldn't be sparing so much time but, he also didn't want people to burn. He took it in the mindset of, what if that was his own family?

Fire itself was dangerous for Taigakai. Part of that being his ice releases, but also because he was beginning to step into a series of techniques that hastened the ability to turn his body to ice. His flesh-ice melting could introduce an absolute horror show. At least it was only the starting stages of it, so the worst of it would be his skin. As he was moving towards the family, he gathered chakra and snow in his hands and lobbed a couple of snowballs towards the upper sides of the rubble to push the fire back.

The windup and throw looked slower than it was, but that was also because it was compared to Taigakai's current speeds where he was just behind the snowballs at A-rank speeds. He at least wanted to try to save this family before making his way to the hospital. Hopefully, he could make it to the hospital in time though, he was confident with his speeds to make it.

Considering everything was happening so fast Alan could not fault the genin for doing what they did moving the elders from the building would slow his original plan but Alan would simply smile cause he hadn't really thought of the potential damage of rolling a entire house but never the less he figured time was something they didn't have. He would be approached by a genin prior and he would answer the question aimed at him.

"I was gathering all the elderly inside of this house so i could move them at once but i suppose i can't do that now."

Alan would watch the efforts of the genin and as he was being spoken too he would grab a wooden board lying on the ground rather large in size he would stand in front kf it and look back at the genin.

"Alan Hulton is my name."

Once he was told his mission Alan would hop on to the wooden board and oddly enough continue running in place as the board would hopefully send him faster than he could run he would ready himself only to hear a faint sound and quickly move over toward it he would see a boy older than himself trapped under some debris alan would try and calm the boy and simply tap the debris causing it to roll of off the boy and into a direction where another building was. The boy would be good hopefully and alan would lift him up and drop him before running back on to the board and rolling on it to move at B rank speeds in the direction he was meant to be going.

Taigakai’s quick thinking had equipped Lil Pip with an advantage. He was now much lighter than he was before. So instead of dropping for a breath every other step, he’d do this every four steps or so. In short he was able to put out double the effort.  Lil Pip however didn’t notice Taigakai was the one who gave him the boost. So he’d head off with the group without even a thank you.

Taigakai had noticed a burning house with a family inside.  He’d cleverly use his affinity to allow him to  get inside the house on time.  Once inside he’d be engulfed by the smoke and hear coughing coming from the kitchen. If he’d follow the noise , Taigakai would see all five family members passed out. The mother had a 6months old baby in her arms while the father laid there near his son and two daughters.

The severe dryness in the air was doing nothing to help the heat and the fires from spreading. He must hurry because the house would soon come tumbling down(undisclosed amount of time). How was he going to carry five full bodies out of this house in time? It was up to him to figure this out.

As for young Alan who followed the directions he was given, he’d run into a teenager in distress. Using a very unique ability to roll the debris away, he was able to free the older teen. “Thank you” he’d say to Alan. Alan tried to take off at B- speeds (because that’s safe) but the teenager would shout in pain and just fall to the ground. It seems like his right ankle was crushed and he couldn’t continue on his own. Alan could keep pushing forward or help him out . Who knows if the teenager could survive without Alan’s help. But one thing that’s certain, he was still ways away from where he’s supposed to be. What would he choose to do?

Despite the heat, the area around Taigakai was a lot cooler thanks to his Winter’s Breath. Who knew it’d actually come in handy for something like beating the heat of a flaming bijuu? As for the family, he wouldn’t be able to carry all of them, and they were unconscious from the smoke too. Taigakai bit his lip and thought as fast as he could. He was only hesitant about what to do because he didn’t want to harm the family more than the fires did, and that included collateral damages.

A huff and a step forwards, Taigakai molded up chakra and released a flood of ice onto the fires. His priority he figured would be the kids. As much as he wanted to save everyone, kids were lighter and the next generation. It wasn’t uncommon for orphans to be around either, he figured several situations left kids alive, though these weren;’t pleasant thoughts to have.

He came over to one of the kids and positioned them on his back, the baby, he would also try to gather and started to get out of the home. If anything, he’d lay them outside and hope there was another person nearby to grab them before anything could get to them. After settling them down, he’d go back in for the other child and then the parents if he had time or if he could flag someone down to try to rescue the rest of them and make off for the hospital.

In the long run, he knew he was stacked for time. He knew that he had to get these supplies out to the hospital or they’d lose people too. It was tough to make choices like this. How many lives were at stake? What was the right balance? He hoped that this was the right choice to make in the long run.

Seeing as he planned to carry the boy to the genin Alan would be about to leave however the boy would obviously not be in the right spot so instead of doing what he was told he figured with his current situation he had three options run toward the other academy students, help the boy or simply leave with the other civillian' s.

He would  walk back toward the boy and give a small sigh before picking him up the one attribute he was born with and at the moment the only physical one he had that stood out seemed to at least be coming in handy he would lift the boy by his shirt and toss him over his shoulder before running him over toward the elevator at E rank speeds and D rank strength to try and move a little faster.

He would get in the elevator as well he was no help here and moving back into the village would only make him one more person to be saved. If the academy students needed a boy with only D rank strength to save them then they were already dead.

Tagaikai’s critical thinking skills were on display as he stopped the flames with a spread of ice. The smoke was still lingering a bit and the family still laid there unconscious.He had hard choices to make since the house was set to collapse. So with quick and careful consideration , he’d grab on of the kids(7yr) and the baby.

He’d carefully move them out of harms way and outside the house.  It was unfortunate that this area had been mostly evacuated. If there was anyone left in the area then it’d definitely be someone in need of help at this point. So he’d be left with no choice but to head back inside to save more of the family.

Who knows how wise that decision was, but wise or not it was truly a noble one.  Probably one of the better traits of being a shinobi of the people.  He’d go back inside and get another child (9 yr). He’d repeat this with the parents and with every time a little more time would pass. The integrity of the house was already severely compromised. If he’d take some time to count the amount of people left outside, it’d be five(one child, the baby, the other child, the son and the mother).

The one that was left was the father. But the house began to slowly cave in. Going in there now can cause Taigakai to suffer an injury or worse. But if he doesn’t go back in for their father then there could be no survival.  As Tagaikai had deducted , he did have a primary mission. But he’s so close to saving the family.  Nonetheless whatever he chooses to do would probably be for the best.

Meanwhile Alan had also chosen to go back for the boy. He’d carry him along and use his strength to move at D-rank+  speeds to a destination that was a good distance away.  Unfortunately the kid did weigh him down and probably could’ve been the reason why Alan was still a good distance away from the group.

So Alan must’ve decided to go another route away from the group in order to find this elevator that he was about to use to escape.  Using this as a means of escape could possibly be dangerous although unlikely. Certainly going this route would mean that he will be separated from the escapees of hakagakure.  Not only that but there was definitely still a use for him as a student in the group that he was sent to. So assuming he did leave successfully, he’d be safe but that’d mark the end of his contributions to this crisis. Alan knows best.

Alan would place the young boy down and look at everyone getting into the elevator. Leaving was a good choice but he would look back and think for a moment about the other academy students that were still in the village he didn't think he could help them but there was a slim chance he could mainly due to the fact that he was up and moving.

He would sit down in the elevator and not think on it any longer he could not be something he wasn't at the moment and everyone would have to understand that. He would look around at the others in the elevator with him and not feel so bad there were numerous people from all ages groups.

Taigakai bit his lip and sighed, diving back into the house to take the father out of the home. Hopefully they’d not get crushed by rubble as well as the people at the hospital not suffering with the time he took to keep these people from burning a flaming death.

Taigakai himself would very much not like to die like that for a number of reasons, mainly with the reason for it being incredibly unpleasant. After some time struggling to take a full grown adult out of the house and laid onto the ground, he figured he didn’t have time for them to wake up. There was already so much time used trying to get them out on his own. If he passed by someone on the way up, he;d tall them the direction the family lay as he was going through.

Taigakai leapt, bounding up walls and trying to cut time so he could make it sooner and make up for what time was lost.

Taigakai could never leave a job unfinished it seems. That was something that this unconscious family could be forever grateful for. This young man despite his better judgement had taken the time to save the entire family. Just as he came out with the father, the house came crashing down.

The loud crashing of the house had alarmed two medical genin nearby. So just as Taigakai returned to safety the two were ready to take action. One medic would turn to give Taigakai attention but before she could say anything to him, he was gone.

Taigakai had realized by now that helping people takes sometime but was necessary for the survival of the villages future. Maybe that would be the same cause for baby kittens(three) that were too frightened to move.

Besides these three kittens was mama cat’s body. They’d cry ever so faintly as if they were calling out for help. The heat in the area was rising . There was no way these kittens would make it much longer without help. But Taigakai was running late. Would they be worth it and if so, how’d he save these frightened kittens?

As for poor Alan, the heat must've gotten to him quickly. He imagined all these children his age and other people being in the elevator that he chose to escape in. In reality, it was just him and that teenage boy, escaping to what they can only hope is safety.

Taigakai looked over to a high pitched noise he heard amongst the rumble and roars of the bijuu attacking. It was amazing what he could pick up despite all that's going on. He decided to try to make the journey. He figured, this rescue would be a little easier than a family of five and while making his way through, ducked down and swept his arm under the litter to nab all of them up. If there was a passing shinobi around, he'd stop them briefly only to hand off the litter if they didn't already had their hands full. Who knew what else would be in store for him at this rate. And it'd be bad if he had his hands full with kittens if something new came across as well.
