Chakra Based Earth Release Techniques- Ninjutsu:
Name: Earth Release: Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Offensive Range: Long
Description: The user makes hand seals before spitting out a small clump of earth the size of an orange which flies through the air, up to 20 feet, at swift release speeds to impact an opponent to deal D-rank Earth Release damage and can knock incoming projectiles such as kunai or shuriken off course if they aren't backed D-rank strength. This technique is very versatile due to it's low rank allowing it to be used in various situations whether as a standalone technique or in combinations.
Name: Earth Release: Practice Brick Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D (D-rank Chakra + Variable Materia Price) Class: Offensive Range: Long
Description: The user creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defense, manipulating pre-existing ground to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form at Swift Release speeds. Though weak, the walls can serve as a makeshift blockade when formed by several users, slowing down large, powerful attacks due to each wall being capable of blocking a D-rank worth of physical or chakra based damage so long as they are not strong against Earth Release. This allows them to be stacked back to back with each of the walls taking a small amount of damage (dependent on the amount of materia comprising it) away from the offensive technique they collide with when they are destroyed. This technique is apparently extremely simple and basic among Earth Release techniques, and can thus be easily taught to and used by individuals. Rank of User - Earth Materia Price (Size of Wall) D - D (Small) C (Low) - 2 D (Humanoid) C (High) - 3 D (Medium S) Elite C & Above - 5 D (Medium M)
Name: Earth Release: Tunneling Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Width), Short (Depth)
Description: The user makes hand seals ending with Snake before tapping their foot against the ground. This is a technique that allows the user to create tunnels in the ground, which can be used for basic infiltration purposes. Depending on the skill of the user the width of the tunnel can be larger or smaller however it can dig 5 feet each time this technique is used. By holding the Snake seal this technique can be continuously used allowing the user to create a continuous tunnel for themselves and/or their allies to travel through however they can be detected by others who possess a D-rank or higher vibration sensory technique. Rank - Tunnel Width D - 1 ft Radius C (Low) - 1.5 ft Radius C (High) - 2 ft Radius Elite C & Above - 2.5 ft Radius
Name: Earth Release: Rock Section Cane Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D (D-rank Chakra & D-rank Earth Materia Price Per Staff) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Contact (Length)
Description: The user makes hand seals ending with Snake and then holding out their hand as a thin pillar comprised of rock emerges from the ground. This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throwing weapon as it is capable of inflicting D-rank Earth Release chakra based damage. It is rather durable due to being comprised of rock more so against physical based techniques and weapons than anything else as it can block D-rank physical techniques even with piercing so long as they aren't strong against rock. When used by a skilled user one can make a variation of this technique which allows the user to create several staves often for throwing purposes. Rank - No. of Staves D - 1 C (Low) - 2 C (High) - 3 Elite C - 4
Name: Earth Release: Underground Split Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D(D-rank Chakra & Variable Earth Materia Price) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (Height), Mid (Width), Long (Distance)
Description: After making hand seals the user makes a landslide due to displacing the available earth materia in an area which moves towards an opponent at a fast pace of swift release speed. Upon colliding with an opponent they are knocked off their feet if they lack Strength Tiers equivalent to the earth materia comprising the landslide and are partially buried 5 ft underneath the soil. The impact itself is fairly weak only dealing D-rank Earth Release chakra based damage as it covers a distance of 20 ft while spreading over a 10 ft radius in a conical shape. By holding the snake hand seal it can be kept active (D-rank chakra price each Turn active) continuously spreading so long as additional earth materia is available dealing it's damage to all of those trapped within every post (total) they are buried underneath the soil. Rank - Max Earth Materia Capable of displacing (Str. Req to Brace) D - D (D-) C (Low) - C (C-) C (High) - B (B-) Elite C - A (A-) B & Above - S (S-)
Name: Earth Release: Hiding within the Dust Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand seals before slamming her palms on the ground causing a dust cloud to be swept up into the air filling an area of 40 feet (radius) to obscure vision. Thanks to the dust being comprised of the user's chakra it is capable of obscuring vision as well as chakra sensory due to the victim detecting the user's chakra signature uniformly within it. Victims however with a heightened sense of smell are more sensitive to the dust from this technique causing them to sneeze and gain a runny nose for a certain amount of posts reducing the effectiveness of sensory techniques which revolve around the sense of smell by 1-rank while D-rank and below smell based sensory techniques are completely ineffective within this technique.
Name: Earth Release: Sinkhole Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Mid)
Description: The user makes hand seals before tapping a specific location with a body part resulting in a hole with a radius of 2.5 feet (5 feet diameter) but a depth of 10 feet. This sinkhole triggers when stepped on causing victims without D-rank reaction tiers to instantly fall into it causing them to be temporarily immobilized until they are able to pull themselves out of it. This technique is unable to be detected by those without vibration sensory unless they have a trap detection technique D-rank or above which causes them to be able to reveal it's location, otherwise it doesn't need to be placed in spoiler tags until it is triggered due to being a trap.
Name: Earth Release: Muddy Spit Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Offensive Range: Short Mid
Description: The user gathers earth release chakra into their throat while making hand seals before spitting out a glob of mud which travels at swift release speed to impact a victim dealing D-rank earth release chakra damage. If aimed at a victims head the gunk gets into their eyes blinding them for 1 post (total) as they are forced to wipe it out of their eyes while those with heightened vision thanks to dojutsu are blinded for 2 posts (total). This technique can likewise be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Sinkhole Technique to bury an opponent trapped in a sinkhole requiring the victim to either possess an Earth movement technique or D-rank strength to claw there way out from being buried or risk suffocating after a certain amount of time. If they have techniques which deal with holding one's breath they can extend the number of posts until they suffocate underground while those who do not need to breathe are immune to the suffocation effect though are still trapped underground. Posts till Suffocation (Posts Total) - Endurance Tier 10 - None 15 - D 20 - C 25 - B 30 - A 35 - S
Name: Earth Release: Muddy Floor Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Short (Width), Long (Length)
Description: The user makes hand seals before expelling mud from her mouth onto the ground in order to make it muddy. While being a basic earth technique it is quite useful due to the mud making movement dangerous with victims possessing C-rank or above speed instantly falling onto the ground. However if they possess those speeds along with either D-rank strength or a D-rank or above balancing technique they are able to use this technique to move freely. The mud is expelled to cover a distance of 20 feet in a straight line with a width of 5 ft.
Name: Earth Release: Rock Pillar Prison Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (C-rank Chakra + Original Price for each Cane Pillar) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Mid (Distance), Short (Height)
Description: Req. Earth Release: Rock Section Cane to be learnt. A technique that makes use of the rock terrain by creating multiple rock pillars that emerge from beneath the target and trap them. This initially makes 6 pillars each one having a resemblance to the original technique's cane however with additional chakra and earth materia additional pillars can be sprouted from the ground to entrap multiple opponents or make it even more difficult for the victim to escape. The Pillars are spread along a radius of 20 ft and the prison can be up to 20 ft away from the user making it quite possible that the user is entrapped alongside their victim. Each Pillar is up to 10 ft high making it difficult to simply jump out of the prison by civilians and very weak shinobi. Despite being a prison the pillars don't truly bar the victim from escaping it is merely inconvenient due to each pillar being positioned so that they are unable to simply run straight but instead must twist and move around them seeing as each pillar has the same durability as a Rock Section Cane.
Name: Earth Release: Earth Corridor Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (C-rank Chakra & B-rank Earth Materia Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Mid (Height), Long (Distance)
Description: The user makes hand seals before holding on the Snake seal which causes the earth within 40 feet in the surrounding area to rise up 20 ft and over a target Medium (S) sized and below and create a cavern, imprisoning the target at bullet release speeds. The user can leave an opening to allow attacks to go in to strike down the trapped adversaries or fill up with additional techniques, or close it up completely to prevent escape. The cavern is fairly durable as well requiring a B-rank physical technique to even dent it as well as techniques which are weak against earth release or a C-rank technique with piercing which is strong against earth release to escape out of it.
Name: Earth Release: Body Replacement Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary Range: Short
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This technique differs with the normal body replacement technique in that unlike the original which is used to replace with solid objects this technique can be used to body replace with mud allowing it's use to be much more diverse than the original technique. When used on large bodies of mud (swamps, marshes etc) this technique excels due to the numerous area's the user can body replace to using it.
Name: Earth Release: Earth Flow River Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short, Mid (Knockback)
Description: After forming the needed hand seal , the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud, within 10 feet of the user, that throws them off balance if they do not possess a balancing technique C-rank or above and away from the user if they aren't anchored in place by C-rank strength or above. The result is the victim is sent flying, rag-dolling through the air, at Bullet Release speeds over a distance of 20 feet. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique as well as other mud using techniques due to the quantity it produces. Rank - Amount of Mud Materia Produced D - N/A C - D B - C A - B S - A
Name: Earth Release: Mud Clone Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Each Mud Clone is comprised of 1 C-rank of Mud) Class: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid (On Mud surface)
Description: Req. Water Release: Water Clone. The Mud Clone Technique is similar to the Water Clone Technique except it creates clones out of mud instead. Like the technique it is based off of each clone has one-tenth of the original person's power which is dependent on the user's skill level to determine their power and the rank of techniques they can use. However due to this the number of clones that can be produced is double in comparison to the Shadow Clone technique when not on a earth source (mud) and triple when on a earth source (mud). Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves and resemble the user identically until they are struck hard enough to revert. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control going a max of 10 ft away before reverting to mud. While on a muddy surface the distance they can travel is increased simply because they have a ready source of mud to retain their form now being 20 ft away. Like other clone techniques, if the mud clones are injured enough they will revert back into mud allowing them to become hazards later. Rank of User - Clone Tiers - Highest Rank Earth Release Capable of Using D - 5-ranks Below - C C - 4-ranks Below - B B - 3-ranks Below - A A - 2-ranks Below - S S - 1-rank Below - SS
Name: Earth Release: Rock Clone Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Each Rock Clone is comprised of a C-rank of Rock) Class: Defensive/Supplementary Range: Mid-Long
Description: This particular clone is one of the other types of clones differing from those such as the Water or the Shadow Clone technique in that the amount produced is less than normal (half of clone limit). After making hand seals the user expels earth from their mouth to form it into one or several identical clones each retaining a portion of the user's strength. Unlike some other clones, ones generated by this method do not disappear when struck with sufficient force, but rather break apart dealing C-rank Earth Release chakra damage to whatever is within a 2 ft radius of the clone. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control going a max of 20 ft away before reverting to rock. While on the ground the distance they can travel is increased simply because they have a ready source of rock to retain their form now being up to 40 ft away. Furthermore Rock Clones are much more sturdy than other clones when it comes to physical impacts merely sustaining damage overtime depending on the user's skill level. Rank - Clone Tiers (Physical Durability) D - 4-Ranks Below (Damaged Normally) C - 3-ranks Below (D-rank Req. Piercing to Damage) B - 2-ranks Below (C-rank Req. Piercing to Damage) A - 1-rank Below (Immune to D-rank Physical Dmg) S - Equal to Original (Immune to C-rank Physical Dmg)
Name: Earth Release: Earth Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid
Description: This is a highly versatile Earth Release technique which has many advanced variations being built off from the Earth Release: Bullet Technique. After kneading chakra in their stomach while preforming hand seals, the user expels a large quantity of earth in the form of a spray (conical, 1 ft initially, 2 ft at max distance) towards their intended target. The earth covers a distance of up to 20ft at bullet release speeds impacting a target to deal C-rank earth release chakra based damage. This technique acts like a gateway for several other earth techniques depending on the user's skill level. Rank - Earth Release Technique Unlocked D - Bullet Rock Technique C (Low) - Mud-shot C (High) - Earth Dragon Bullet C (Elite) - Rock Gun
Name: Earth Release: Bullet Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Rock Size), Short (Crater), Mid-Long (Distance)
Description: The user makes hand seals ending with Snake before launching a huge rock at an opponent up to 20 ft away (horizontally) but can also be used to accurately strike down an airborne opponent up to 40 ft away (vertically) from the user. The rock moves at bullet release speeds and deals C-rank Earth Release damage upon striking an opponent and if it strikes them down from above upon landing on the ground it creates a crater with a 10 ft radius inflicting it's damage upon all of those within said crater's range. This technique becomes more dangerous the more skilled an individual is and has numerous uses outside of merely offense if one is creative enough to see them. Rank - Size of Rock D - 1 ft C (Low) - 2 ft C (High) - 3 ft Elite C - 4 ft Above C - 5 ft
Name: Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary/Offense Range: Mid
Description: A type of concealment as well as trap technique, Double Suicide Decapitation hides the user underneath a thin layer of ground (20 ft radius). The user is capable of traveling at Bullet Release speeds underneath the ground without disturbing the ground around them. The user can then come out from the ground underneath the target and drag them underneath up to their head, trapping them and making for a perfect follow up technique. Due to being trapped the victim is unable to use their hands to perform jutsu, however they can break out of it with B rank or above Strength, or utilize B-rank speed to evade the technique.
Name: Earth Release: Earth Shore Return Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class:Defense/Supplementary Range: Contact (Thickness), Short (Height)
Description: The user makes hand seals before striking the ground with their hands or feet, creating a large wall of earth in front of them. This was is perfectly square on all sizes and flips upward from the ground that is struck, with each size being 10 ft in length and having a thickness of 2 ft. The defense is not perfect though, since a hard (B-rank or above) or drilling impact (C-rank Defense Piercing), such as those which are either neutral or strong against Earth Release (excluding physical which requires the technique to be strong against Earth Release with Defense Piercing), can puncture the wall. Also, since this technique only guards against frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above. Rank - Wall Flip Speed D - C C (Low) - C+ C (High) - C++ Elite C or Above - B-
Name: Earth Release: Added Weight Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive Range: Short (Contact)
Description: This technique simply allows the user to increase the weight of their target. When used on a weapon target they begin to exhibit petrification-like symptoms and then began to crumble after a certain number of posts dependent on their endurance tiers. The speed at which this occurs ranks up with her own with the count down being reduced by -5 each rank up starting at 50 posts (total) and being a minimum of 25 posts (total) for a victim to fully petrify and crumble into dust upon being struck. Repeated strikes further lower the count down by 1 post each hit which also increases dependent on her rank to be five post reductions when she reaches S-rank rank. Note if the victim has B-rank endurance or C-rank chakra tiers they simply take C-rank earth release chakra damage instead. This technique of course follows the recoil rules when buffing past what is normally capable by an object. End Tier - Duration till petrified (Posts Total) - Heavy (Physical Dmg Buff) None - Base Count Down - N/A D - +1 Post - 1x (1-rank) C - +2 Posts - 1x (1-rank) B - +3 Posts - 2x (2-ranks) A - +4 Posts - 2x (2-ranks) S - +5 Posts - 3x (3-ranks)
Name: Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Offensive Range: Short (Contact)
Description: Contrary to its counterpart the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique, instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows depending on the amount of chakra put into this technique the effect remains until they pay an additional price to restore it back to normal or make it heavier. This technique of course follows the recoil rules when buffing past what is normally capable by the user. Lighten - Chakra Spent - "Speed" Gained - Physical Damage Dealt Debuff 1x - D - +1 - -1 Rank 2x - C - +2 - -2 Ranks 3x - B - +3 - -3 Ranks 4x - A - +4 - -4 Ranks 5x - S - +5 - -5 Ranks
Name: Earth Release: Rising Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short (Distance), Mid (Rock Height), Long (Knock-back)
Description: The user makes hand seals before clapping their hands together resulting in the emergence of two large rocks from the ground at Bullet Release speeds. These rocks extend outward to bludgeon an opponent to deal C-rank damage while knocking them flying 40 ft if they lack Strength above C to brace themselves in place. Each rock is fairly durable not being scratched by C-rank physical based techniques though they can be destroyed by a C-rank chakra based technique with piercing or strong against earth release. Rank - Str to Resist Knock-Back D - C+ C (Low) - C++ C (High) - B- Elite C - B
Name: Earth Release: Rock Tatami Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Offensive, Supplementary Range: Short (Distance), Contact (Tatami)
Description: The user makes hand seals causing a stack of flat rocks to emerge from the ground after which they can be launched at an opponent up to 10 ft away. Each rock is capable of moving at bullet release speeds and deals C-rank Earth Release chakra damage to an opponent. Furthermore due to the fact that they can float these rocks can also be utilized as platforms either by the user or even their opponent if they are fast enough to react in time to the assault (C-rank Reaction or speed above C+). Rank - No. of Rocks Per use (Size) D - 1 (1 ft) C - 2 (2 ft) B - 3 (3 ft) A - 4 (4 ft) S - 5 (5 ft)
Name: Earth Release: Rock Trail Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C (Recurrent C-rank Price) Class: Offensive, Supplementary Range: Contact (Spacing), Short-Mid (Trail)
Description: The user makes hand seals and by slamming into the ground, they causes a path of large rocks to emerge from the ground and strike the target. This technique is capable of erupting from the ground at bullet release speeds and depending on the skill of the user the space between each of the rocks and their individual size varies. The trail however covers up to 15 ft away though by keeping their hand on the ground they can pay a recurring price to keep the rocks erupting from the ground each P.T. Due to the size of the rocks they are capable of blocking paths and dealing damage to multiple opponents with them inflicting a C-rank of Earth Release damage if a victim is struck by one during their eruption from the ground. Rank - Rock Size (Spacing Between Each Rock) - End Tiers (Recurrent Price Each P.T) D - 1 ft (5 ft) - D (Every P.T) C (Low) - 2 ft (4 ft) - C (Every 1 P.T) C (High) - 3 ft (3 ft) - B (Every 2 P.T) Elite C - 4 ft (2 ft) - A (Every 3 P.T) Above B - 5 ft (1 ft) - S (Every 4 P.T)
Name: Earth Release: Mud-shot Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Radius), Short (Distance)
Description: The user makes hand seals before ending with the Snake hand seal and shooting a blast of mud straight from their mouth at an opponent. Due to the chakra enhanced properties of the mud it expands outward in a 3 ft radius up to 15 ft away restricting the movement of anyone that it comes in contact with. Once struck the victim is held fast by the mud requiring strength above B-rank to break free and it leaves them vulnerable to follow ups by the user due to their immobility. Still it requires a perceptive user to know how to use it properly in order to entrap the more dangerous body parts of an enemy and restrict their actions as a result. Rank - Binding Strength of Mud C - B+ B (Low) - B++ B (High) - A- Elite B - A
Name: Earth Release: Mud Spore Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (Optional Variable Water Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Long (Distance), Contact (Height), Short (Width)
Description: After making hand seals the user ending with Snake the user summons a river of mud from the ground which rushes forth from around them towards the enemy. It swirls around the user at B-rank speeds before rushing forth up to 60 ft away with the river being 15 ft wide and being able to engulf things beneath it if they are shorter than 3 ft. This technique is primarily geared at sweeping victims off their feet requiring individuals to possess strength above B-rank otherwise they will be swept up by the mud river. Furthermore if this technique is mixed with water, whether materia or a Water Release ninjutsu it can increase the speed & power of this technique. In the case of the latter this technique takes on the speed of the water release ninjutsu only if it's faster wheteras it always gains the damage of the Water release technique used to strengthen it albeit dealing Earth Release chakra damage instead of water. Water Materia (Speed/Power Boost) D (B Spd/Req. B+ Str) C (B+ Spd/Req. B++ Str) B (B++ Spd/Req. A- Str) A (A- Spd/Req. A Str) S (A Spd/Req. A+ Str)
Name:Earth Release: Hiding in Rocks Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: This technique allows the user to blend into rocks and then move in and out of other rocks undetected, similar to the Water Release: Hiding in Water Technique. It is shown that this technique is usable on any form of earth even rocks and dirt. As a result it concealed the user from not only sight but likewise vibration sensory technique B-rank & below. However, chakra sensory can detect them instantly if they are partially submerged though those with X-ray Vision in addition to chakra sensory can detect them even while concealed underground. While leaving concealment, the earth is slightly distorted as it raises from the ground up to reveal the user which is why chakra sensory techniques are capable of detecting the user. Depending on the type of earth the user's speed while moving through them is altered. Type of Earth - Movement Speed Soil - 2 Tier Levels Higher Rock - 1 Tier Level Higher Rock - Normal Speed Volcanic Rock - 1 Tier Level Lower
Name: Earth Release: Ant-lion Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Offensive Range: Mid (Radius), AOE (Depth)
Description: This technique causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an ant-lion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the center, the victim will then be sucked underground at Crashing Ground speeds. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated and due to how the pit is structured victims who attempt to resist the dragging must possess a B-rank Earth movement technique in addition to B-rank or above strength. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique. Nevertheless, if the target has other means to escape it is possible to survive. This technique is trap based and thus can be set up in advance or delayed after making the hand seals with the ground seemingly untouched until it is triggered when a victim is within range. As a result it required to be placed in spoiler tags unless an opponent has B-rank or above Vibration Sensory. Chakra Price - Pit Radius (Depth) - End Tiers of Victim (P.T till Suffocation) D - 10 ft (40 ft) - D (5) C - 20 ft (80 ft) - C (10) B - 30 ft (120 ft) - B (15) A - 40 ft (160 ft) - A (20) S - 50 ft (200 ft) - S (25) *Note: If victim lacks Endurance Tiers then they will suffocate after a set amount of P.T depending on their rank (1 P.T if D-rank, 5 P.T if S-rank)
Name: Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (B-rank Chakra, B-rank Rock Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE (Radius), Mid (Height), Short (Length of Slabs)
Description: Req. B-rank or higher Rock Source active on the field. After making hand seals ending with the Rat hand seal this technique allows the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent at crashing ground speeds. The user then forms two gigantic sections out of the slabs which then surround and crush the opponent within preventing their escape as the slabs aren't able to be scratched by B-rank or below physical based techniques including those with piercing so long as they aren't strong against Earth Release. In regards to ninjutsu the slabs aren't as durable as each is capable of being destroyed by a single B-rank technique, however the user only needs more than one slabs to form the sections that can bind a victim. Once imprisoned within the victim is dealt B-rank Earth Release crushing damage at a rate dependent on the user's Endurance Tiers. Rank/Endurance Tier - No. of Slabs (Frequency of Crushing) D - 1 (Every 10 P.T) C - 2 (Every 8 P.T) B - 3 (Every 6 P.T) A - 4 (Every 4 P.T) S - 5 (Every 2 P.T)
Name: Earth Release: Rock Gun Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long, Contact (Rock Size), Short (Knock-Back)
Description: The Earth Release Rock Gun technique is one popularized of those Earth Release user's from Hakagakure and yet is still universally known by other shinobi throughout the world. It's is a powerful technique when used collaboratively in which bullet-sized bits of rock are expelled from the user's mouth with great speed (crashing ground) and force (B-rank knock-back). Those who are impacted by these rocks are knocked back up to 15 ft into the ground. After they are fired, the chunks expand into huge boulders the farther away they get from the user ultimately reaching their maximum size up to 60 ft away from the user and crushing opponents unable to lift the boulders with their weight. As such this technique does variable damage depending on how far the victim is and if they are able to "catch" the launched boulders which requires strength high enough to life the WL of a single boulder. Those victims unable to lift the boulder are pinned in place by the weight after they are struck. Name: Earth Release: Rock Shuriken Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (C-rank Rock Materia Per Shuriken) Class: Offensive, Supplementary Range: Short-Mid (Distance), Contact (Shuriken size)
Description:Req. Rock Tatami Technique to be learnt. The user makes hand seals ending with snake resulting in the creation of flat rocks which are then launched at an opponent at crashing ground speeds. While they are being launched they actually rotate at the same speed which allows them to inflict B-rank Earth Release chakra based slicing damage. They can reach up to 25 ft away before falling to the ground and they are rather heavy individually and thus can be used to pin a victim unable to lift them in place after they've struck them. Name: Earth Release: Earth Spear Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (Power Varies with Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The user flows chakra through all parts of their body causing it to become noticeably darker, which increases their defensive power to its utmost limits by making the skin as hard as diamond granting defense tiers at the cost of chakra capping out at S-rank. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased due to the increased defense turning all physical techniques into Nintaijutsu dealing Earth Release Hybrid damage equal to the amount of chakra put into this technique, making this a great all-purpose technique. The amount of techniques that can break through the areas hardened by the Earth Spear are close to zero, excluding its undeniable weak point: Lightning Release ninjutsu. When encased in the durable earth release chakra it costs an initial chakra price to activate however doing so results in the user being weighed down by the earth dropping one's movement speed tier dependent on how much the earth release chakra is saturated in their skin, this however can be offset through strength tiers to regain normal movement speed. Chakra Price - Defense Gained - Weight Gained (Speed Drop) - Strength Needed to Offset Weight Gain D - D - 1x (1-rank) - D C - C - 2x (2-ranks) - C B - B - 3x (3-ranks) - B A - A - 4x (4-ranks) - A S - S - 5x (5-ranks) - S
Name: Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Defense Range: Contact (Thickness), Short (Distance)
Description: The user creates a 3 ft thick solid wall of earth as a form of defense up to 15 ft away from them after making hand seals and slamming both hands on the ground. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form at crashing ground speeds, and if normal earth is utilized alongside a chakra price this wall is unable to be scratched by physical techniques or projectiles backed by strength, up to 1-rank below to the amount of earth materia used. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall resulting in it being unable to be breached by anything short of a defense piercing technique strong against Earth Release which is equal to the chakra infused in it. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire (negates burning from fire techniques equal in rank to the chakra spent to fortify it) and water (requires 1-rank Higher defense piercing to breech). Also, for a highly skilled shinobi it is possible to create a vast volume of earth.. Name: Earth Release: Grand Bowl Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand seals before placing her hands on the ground resulting in a massive cave in of the ground over a radius of 80 feet replacing it with a smooth waterproof surface of sleek stone which has no traction preventing people from running on top of it or climbing on it. Victims who attempt to escape who use chakra to stick to the surface will find that it costs a B-rank of chakra each of their posts to stick to and move on top of the sleek stone. Those who are unable to do so however sink all the way to the bottom of the Bowl (80 ft depth) allowing it to be utilized as a trap. The Bowl is likewise quite durable being resistant to blunt trauma B-rank and below while being able to sustain damage from water techniques B-rank and below without limit and even an A-rank water technique before being cracked. The true use of this technique is it's waterproof sleek stone as water techniques used within it do not recede into the ground allowing a pool of water trapping victims within with no means of escaping either by climbing or jumping due to the water filling it up.
Name: Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (B-rank Mud Price & B-rank Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Mid-Range (When Used in combo), Long-Range (Mud Balls)
Description: This technique has two activations; the first being without Earth Flow River which requires the user to prepare mud for its use while the second being with Earth Flow River by a sufficiently skilled user. In both instances this technique creates a dragon-like head to fire balls of mud at an opponent all of which move at crashing ground speed to deal numerous counts of D-rank earth release chakra damage reaching distances of 60 feet before their momentum is halted and they sink to the ground. At activation 20 bullets can be launched and if all hit it deals stacking damage, however each additional bullet outside of those twenty costs an additional D-rank chakra price allowing the user to constantly barrage opponents if they have the chakra for it. Name: Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (C-rank Chakra + Variable Mud Materia) Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: Req. one of the Earth Flow line of techniques currently active on the field. This technique lets the user condense mud or stone from the ground and shape it into spikes that protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target at Crashing Ground speed within 15 to 25 ft of the Earth Flow technique. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density than B-rank, however depending on the source of mud numerous can be sprouted for a singe price in the hands of skilled users. This technique however does combo very well with Earth & Stone Bamboo Shoot as each of the spikes works as an extension of the auxillary technique requiring the next level up in speed in order to dodge them (i.e if the victim dodges a spike with B-rank speed they will require B+ speed to dodge the next one). By holding the Snake hand seal this technique can be utilized over and over again with more spikes bursting up from the ground for an additional C-rank chakra price each time as long as ample mud materia is present. Rank - No. of Earth Spikes formed per use D - 1 C - 2 B - 3 A - 4 S - 5
Name: Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: The user makes hand seals before holding the Snake handseal resulting in this technique initiating, the result is a sudden technique which gives no prior notice of it's initiation so that skilled users of this technique can activate it with a delay. This technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions each moving at Crashing Ground Speeds in an attempt to skewer the opponent making it harder to evade. The spikes can be adjusted mid-flight to account for dodging causing each follow up spike to require either B-rank Reaction Tiers/Time-Slowing Dojutsu with every two spikes requiring 1 tier level higher speed than what was used to dodge to avoid it or if Reaction Tiers are not present 1 tier level higher speed per spike. The delay depends on the skill of the user, allowing them to make the hand seals for this technique but stop right before Snake is completed by clapping their hands. At any point after, even post using another technique, the Snake hand seal can be initiated causing this technique to burst from the ground at a target. Due to this being a trap technique, the user is not required to place it in spoilers until activation unless the victim has a vibration sensory technique B-rank or above. Rank - Optional Delay (P.T.) - Radius of Effect D - Up to 2 - 10 C - Up to 4 - 20 B - Up to 6 - 30 A - Up to 8 - 40 S - Up to 10 - 50
Name: Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (B-rank Earth Materia per Cube) Class: Offensive/Defensive Range: Contact (Size), Short (Orbit), Mid (Distance)
Description: After making hand seals and ending with Snake the user uses the earth to create large floating rock cubes to toss at the opponent at crashing ground speeds. The rock cubes spin around the user at the same speed, doubling as a protection against other attacks due to each cube requiring a B-rank technique not weak against Earth in order to destroy it. While orbiting the user they can be up to 15 ft away from them whereas when they are launched they can target an opponent up to 30 ft away from the user. Like most earth techniques they are better at protecting against physical based techniques as those that aren't strong against earth require defense piercing to break one of the cubes. The user can also adjust the size of the rocks, as they grow in skill so that they give them more protection from incoming attacks, as well as serve as more dangerous projectiles though either way they individually deal B-rank Earth Release damage.. Rank (No. of Rocks) - Size of Rock (Radius) D (1) - 1 ft C (2) - 2 ft B (3) - 3 ft A (4) - 4 ft S (5) - 5 ft
Name: Earth Release: Rock Shelter Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (B-rank Chakra + B-rank Rock Price) Class: Defensive Range: Contact (Thickness), Short (Radius), Mid (Distance)
Description: The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinity and creates a formation of rock that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity, if desired. Doing so, seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered, even when the quantity of earth used is enough to form a complete dome around multiple individuals. The rock shifts at Crashing Ground speeds, and when formed unless the user chooses to leave openings in order to see their surroundings it is indistinguishable from a normal outcrop of rocks requiring B-rank or above Reaction Tiers to notice that the ground has been altered in some way. The shelter is fairly durable sporting a thickness determinant on the user's skill while being unable to be harmed by incoming techniques which are either B-rank strong against earth or possess defense piercing. In regards to physical weaponry due to the thickness they often get stuck in the shelter and even those with piercing are unable to completely break through if they are smaller than the thickness of the shelter's walls. Rank - Shelter Wall Thickness D - 1 ft C (Low) - 2 ft C (High) - 3 ft Elite C - 4 ft
Name: Earth Release: Earth Flow Lake Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Mid, Long (Knockback)
Description: Req. Long Water Release technique C-rank & Above. After forming the needed hand seal, the user turns a portion of the water covered underneath their opponent into a lake of mud (15ft radius), within 30 feet of the user, that throws them off balance if they do not possess a balancing technique B-rank or above and away from the user if they aren't anchored in place by B-rank strength or above. The result is the victim is sent flying rag-dolling through the air at Crashing Ground speeds over a distance of 20 feet. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet technique as well as other mud using techniques due to the quantity it produces. Victims who run through this mud that lack a B-rank Balancing technique will slip and fall taking variable fall damage depending on how fast they were moving prior to their fall. Name: Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (B-rank Chakra Recurring + Variable Mud Materia) Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Wave), Mid-Long (Distance)
Description: Req. one of the Earth Flow line of techniques currently active on the field. After making hand seals and touching the ground with one's hand, the user creates and rides a wave of earth which can be used to smoothly manipulate the terrain around them and their opponent at crashing ground speed. This is done through the wave emanating outward converting the ground in a 50 ft radius around the user into mud which can then be shaped through the user's movement, which upon the user removing their hand from the ground is then re-solidified into earth. If a victim has made contact with the mud or is surrounded by it upon being solidified they are trapped within it requiring strength above B-rank or a B-rank chakra expulsion technique to break free. Furthermore it can be useful for creating temporary obstacles and alter the battlefield towards the user's advantage since upon being solidified the earth can not be destroyed by anything short of a B-rank technique either neutral or strong against earth. This technique requires advanced chakra control otherwise it consumes a B-rank of chakra each post (total) it is in use prior to the re-solidification. Name: Earth Release: Ultra Added Weight Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B (Chakra Price Varies) Class: Offensive Range: Short (Contact)
Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically increases the weight of their target, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. Under certain circumstances, the technique can be used to increase the force behind attacks and simulate the strength tiers needed to negate knock-back effects due to the intense increase in weight. However in comparison it makes them much slower as a result of the increased weight unless they have natural strength tiers to actually offset that. This technique of course follows the recoil rules when buffing past what is normally capable by the user. Description: This technique is a more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of their target, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability due to being geared toward large targets. The user can use this technique to lift enormous objects that they normally wouldn't be able to offsetting the base weight of things larger than themselves. While the targets do still typically gain a speed bonus, if this is done in regards to a falling object it actually slows their descent as gravity's pull is lessened due to their weight not multiplying their fall speed as fast as it should be able to. Description: Req. Elevated Location & Rock Formation currently active on field. After making hand seals the user slams their palms on their target in order to initiate this technique. From a higher ground, this cause a rock formation to break apart, with chunks of rock falling down on their opponent(s) and crushing them. The rocks plummet downward at crashing ground speeds however the damage they deal is based on fall damage whereas the distance (width) that they cover is based on the rock formation used in this technique (i.e the range at which the falling rocks cover). This technique can be used with proper planning even on other Earth Release techniques which involve terrain manipulation allowing for set ups where formerly stable terrain is sent plummeting below to rain down on one's opponents. When utilizing Earth Materia this technique deals Earth Release physical damage, however when used on other Earth Release techniques this technique deals Chakra based damage. Name: Earth Release: Hardening Technique Classification: Ninjutsu (Kenjutsu) Rank: A (A-rank Chakra & Variable Earth Materia Price) Class: Defensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Body), Short-Mid (Weaponry)
Description:Req. Earth Release: Rock Armor to be learnt After making hand seals ending with Snake and utilizing earth-based chakra, the user encases their body in surrounding rock creating an armor at Vacuum Release speeds. Upon being encased the armor is capable of sustaining an A-rank Chakra based offensive technique so long as it lacks Defense Piercing or is strong against Earth whereas they are completely unharmed by anything short of a S-rank Physical based technique. This casing can also be used to instead create extendable weapons to strike a target with with new weapons being capable of added through an in-battle training each consuming a D-rank slot when trained. At it's most basic one can demonstrate that that they could use this armor to alter their physical appearance, akin to a costume and mask, giving themselves a larger physique and different face requiring X-ray vision to see through their disguise due to it harnessing earth materia in a similar manner to the it's preceding technique. However, his usage also adds weight to the user, slowing them down if they lack the strength to support their new "body weight". Name: Earth Release: Iron Fist Prison Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: AOE (Radius), Long (Height), Contact (Width)
Description: After making hand seals the user creates a circular arena surrounded by tall walls (80 ft high) which emerge from the earth at vacuum release speeds. The field is then completely changed within a radius of 160 ft, becoming a large trench with the soil exposed, not leaving any trace of the original vegetation or terrain so long as said terrain wasn't established by a terrain manipulation technique A-rank (that is strong against earth) or above A-rank (that is neutral to earth). If the walls are damaged, which requires a S-rank technique if physical or an A-rank technique either strong against Earth Release or possess Defense piercing, they disappear in a puff of smoke, but the terrain remains altered. Due to the thickness of the walls when engaged by projectiles or other weaponry they become embedded in the walls unable to be removed unless with strength above A-rank with those even with piercing being unable to penetrate through to the other side if they are not large enough. In this case when the walls disappear with a puff of smoke the embedded weapons vanish as well with those with X-ray vision revealing their location, namely underground a set distance depending on the user's skill level. Name: Earth Release: Erupting Rock Mountain Cannon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive Range: Self (Dumpling), Mid (Explosion)
Description: Req. Earth Mausoleum Dumpling to be currently active. The user after lifting up a gigantic lump of the ground, throws it forward at the opponent similar to the original technique. However after doing such they make hand seals before ending in a punching motion which "strikes" the earth structure causing it to detonate, thus shattering it and causing the fragments to bombard the opponent at Vacuum Release speeds. Upon shattering everything within a 40 ft Radius of the thrown earth structure is dealt Earth Release chakra based slicing damage with victims actually being dealt bleed damage if they lack either A-rank Endurance or Spirit Tiers. Name: Earth Release: Ground Splitting Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Supplementary Range: Long (Distance), Mid (Knock-Back), Short (Radius)
Description: After forming the necessary hand seals ending with Tiger, the user slams their hands into the ground which causes the earth to erupt below their target's feet at Vacuum Release speeds. This can be used up to a distance of 80 ft away from the user with the rocks launches up to 40 ft high into the sky over a radius of 20 ft. As a result this technique can also effectively create barricades that would take quite some time for a regular person to surmount due to the threat of the plummeting rocks. Those victims who are within the eruption radius sustain A-rank Earth Release damage due to the violent explosion of rock however it can also be used to smack down aerial opponents moving at Vacuum Release or below speeds if they lack A-rank Reaction Tiers causing them to sustain fall damage in addition to being crushed by the falling rocks upon landing on the ground. Height (Fall Damage Sustained) 5 ft (D 10 ft (2 D) 20 ft (3 D) 30 ft (5 D) 40 ft (C)
Name: Earth Release: Golem Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (Each Golem contains A-rank of Rock Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Rock), Varies
Description: Req. Earth Release: Rock Clone to be learnt. This technique allows the user to create a large, humanoid creature composed of rock that can either be expelled from the user's mouth, or formed from a pre-existing source of earth. Depending on the user, the golem can also be formed instantly after making the hand seals similar to that of a clone technique as it is derived from said technique albeit, similar to a Wood Clone, only being capable of being formed one at a time per use. The size of the golem differs depending on use, but it always possesses an ample amount of brute strength on par with an A-rank, being able to bite and tear through it's foes with ease.It is likewise very durable, being able to withstand a point-blank A-rank technique only being destroyed if the technique is non-physical and has defense piercing or is strong against Earth Release. These factors in addition to sharing other capabilities with a Rock Clone makes the golem ideal for serving as additional support or simply as a mobile shield. Rank (Formation Method) - Golem Tiers (Size Capable of Creating) D (Mouth at A-rank Speed) - 4-Ranks Below (Humanoid) C (Mouth at Vacuum Release) - 3-ranks Below (Medium S) B (Ground at A-rank Speed) - 2-ranks Below (Medium M) A (Ground at Vacuum Release) - 1-rank Below (Medium L) S (Instant, similar to clones) - Equal to Original (Medium XL)
Name: Earth Release: Shadow Clone Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (Each Clone contains A-rank of Mud Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Mud), Varies
Description:Req. Shadow Clone Technique & Earth Release: Mud Clone to be learnt. Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user albeit out of mud. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually revert into mud after one or two solid blows, though even then it may not be enough as each clone has the tiers of the user and thus things which the original would brush off the clones can do the same. However unlike the original technique if these Earth Release: Shadow Clones are dispersed by physical techniques they can reform themselves at Vacuum Release speed. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original including any gear on the originals person, likewise due to ones clones mirroring the original it is very difficult to tell the difference. Even with X-ray Vision, or Chakra Sensory as only X-ray Vision + A-rank or Above Chakra sensory can accurately distinguish a clone from the original due to how closely they are copied. Unlike the original technique this technique is more focused for combat and thus they do not transmit information to the user however this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags unless an opponent can distinguish them from a normal shadow clone.
Name: Earth Release: Flying Thrown Stones Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (A-rank Chakra, Variable Rock Materia) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Rock Size), Long (Distance), Short (Radius), Mid (Height)
Description: The user makes hand seals before ending with snake, and this technique is capable of being stockpiled in advance by the user due to it's initiator not being hand seal specific. As a result this is a trap based technique which is not required to be placed in hand seals unless an opponent has B-rank or above vibration sensory. After slamming their hands on the ground, the user sends a multitude of rocks from the ground to fly at the target at Vacuum Release speeds, and are typically used to crush an opponent due to each rock being somewhat heavy individually. If need be, the can use this technique in conjunction with tags for advanced tactics due to the rocks providing a surface for them to be adhered to in advance. Name: Earth Release: Violent Heavenly Earth Needle Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive Range: Short (Needle Length), Mid-Long (Proximity)
Description: Req. Earth Flow Wave currently active on field. After using the Earth Release: Earth Flow Wave technique to shape and form the earth, the user creates a large needle out of it to impale the opponent (A-rank Earth Release chakra damage) by making the Snake hand seal. The needle juts outward at Vacuum Release speeds accurately piercing a victim within the range of the original technique up to 20 ft away from where it erupts from the ground. This technique can be used to great effect with the Earth Flow Spears technique, enhancing their penetration ability to be able to deal A-rank Earth Release damage while likewise bolstering their speed to Vacuum Release levels.
Name: Earth Release: Moving Earth Core Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Defensive Range: AOE, Contact (Knock-back)
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground in the surrounding area, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground at Vacuum Release speeds. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered or raised to is also up to the user's skill. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance (unless they possess an A-rank or higher balancing technique), making it even harder to avoid the attack. Other than being moved below or above ground — relative to the surrounding surface — the terrain is not altered as plant life and people retain their same positions when this technique is used. Rank - Area of Effect - Reaction Debuff (Knock-back Inflicted in addition) D - 40 ft radius - N/A (1 ft) C - 80 ft radius - 1 Tier Levels (2 ft) B - 120 ft radius - 2 Tier Levels (3 ft) A - 160 ft radius - 3 Tier Levels (4 ft) S - 200 ft radius - 4 Tier Levels (5 ft)
Name: Earth Release: Fissure Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Defensive Range: AOE (Length), Mid (Width) Long (Depth), Short (Distance)
Description: Req. at least an A-rank of Earth Materia or an AOE A-rank or higher Earth Release technique having been used on the field. After the hand seals are formed, a large fissure, spanning a considerable distance is formed at Vacuum Release speeds however after said hand seals are made it can be delayed resulting in this trap based technique not being required to be placed in spoiler tags unless the victim has A-rank or higher vibration sensory. It is as wide as 40 ft, with a depth of 80 ft and reaching 160 feet away from designated location set by the user, which can be up to 20 ft away from their current location. Unsuspecting victims will then fall deep into the earth, requiring A-rank+ Reaction Tiers, an A-rank air movement technique or A-rank Reaction Tiers with a vibration sensory technique to react in time in order to not plummet underneath. This technique capitalizes on weight as the heavier an opponent the faster they'll end up falling into the ground. Name: Earth Release: Earth Flow Swamp Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Supplementary Range: Long, Long (Knockback)
Description: Req. AOE Water Release technique B-rank & Above. After forming the needed hand seal, the user turns a portion of the water covered underneath their opponent into a swamp filled with mud (80ft radius), within 80 feet of the user, that throws them off balance if they do not possess a balancing technique A-rank or above and away from the user if they aren't anchored in place by A-rank strength or above. The result is the victim is send flying rag-dolling through the air at Vacuum speeds over a distance of 80 feet. The mud created by this technique can also be used as a medium for the Earth Release: Earth & Stone Dragon technique as well as other mud using techniques due to the quantity it produces. For those who enter this mud, they movement speed is hampered unless they either possess an A-rank underground movement technique or constantly cycle an A-rank of chakra into their feet (reduces it from max-reserves during contact with swamp), lest they suffer from reductions to their movement speed due to the mud's viscosity. Name: Earth Release: Multiple Earth-Style Wall Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (Variable Chakra Price + Earth Materia Price) Class: Defense Range: Contact (Thickness), Short
Description: Like the parent technique, it creates a reinforced wall of earth to be used as a defensive mechanism at Vacuum Release speeds. Using a pre-existing source of earth however, it allows the user to create multiple walls of earth, further fortifying their defense, so that even while the outer walls are destroyed the inner ones are still left intact. Each wall is 4 ft thick, and each can either be stacked back to back to layer the defense each wall breached lowering the damage of the incoming defense piercing technique or can be separated from each other up to 5 ft between them in order to slow down an incoming technique by either 1-rank (Weak Against Earth), 2 Tier Levels (Neutral to Earth) or 1 Tier Level (Strong Against Earth) to allow the user to dodge out of the way. The Maximum amount of walls capable of being formed at once depends on the user's skill level however the exact amount is determined by how much earth materia is available for the user's use. The size of each wall and their durability is determined by the original technique as it uses the same pricing for it. Rank - Max Walls formed - Earth Materia Price (No. of Walls) D - 2 - 1 A (1) C - 4 - 2 A or S (2) B - 6 - 3 A or SS (3) A - 8 - 4 A (4) S - 10 - 5 A or SSS (5)
Name: Earth Release: Earth Pillar Spears Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive Range: Short, Mid
Description: This technique lets the user create a few earth pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target while moving at high speeds of vacuum release. The earth pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target due to their high density and those victims who are underground will find it harder to avoid being impaled by them unless they possess A-rank Vibration Sensory or X-ray Vision to see the moving earth. They can be sprouted up to 40 feet away from the user as long as they emerge from source of ground and each pillar can reach up to 20 ft in the air. This technique unlike the very similar Earth Flow Spears & Earth & Stone Bamboo Shoot focuses on targeting multiple opponents at once, rather than a singular target. However against targets larger than humanoid it's true power shines as the large size of the spikes are capable of doing more damage to them when multiple pillars impact their bodies. Rank - No of Pillars formed Per Use - Size (No. of Pillar to Negate Size Advantage) D - 1 - Humanoid (1) C - 2 - Medium S-M (2) B - 3 - Medium L-XL (3) A - 4 - Large S-M (4) S - 5 - Large L-XL (5)
Name: Earth Release: Earth Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (A-S Rank Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: Self, AOE
Description: Req. Contact with ground. The user makes the snake hand seal before slamming their palm onto the surface below their feet, making it move, akin to waves. This technique is said to require a considerable amount of chakra despite being a pretty simple technique, this is due to the user essential exacting a great change on the area around them. This technique can be done in two ways the first (A-rank Price) which is a more localized wave which can be utilized to move the user along the surface of the ground at A-rank speeds instead of physically running yet if utilized with A-rank speed boosts the user's movement speed to Vacuum Release, while the second (S-rank Price) spreads the wave effect over a 160 ft radius resulting in those without an A-rank balancing technique or A-rank strength to be knocked to the ground. Those who were moving prior to this techniques activation sustain physical damage equal to their movement speed if they fail to retain their balance making it useful for movement interception as well. This technique lasts for a single post when using the localized version with the chakra price being required each P.T it is being used however the AOE version is more cost effective lasting a set number of posts depending on the user's skill level with those who possess Endurance Tiers allowing it's effect to be extended before the price must be paid again. Rank - Duration in P.T (Localized, Area of Effect) - End Tiers (Duration Modifier) D - 1, 1 - D (+1 P.T to Localized &/or Area of Effect) C - 1, 2 - C (+2 P.T) B - 1, 3 - B (+3 P.T) A - 1, 4 - A (+4 P.T) S - 1, 5 - S (+5 P.T)
Name: Earth Release: Tearing Earth Dragon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive Range: Varies
Description: The user molds the earth in the area, and then turns it into a dragon the size of a Medium (S) sized creature. It can be used as a means to travel or to attack a target. Several dragons can also be made and manipulated at once assuming the user has the chakra to supply the technique. These dragons are fast and durable being able to move at Vacuum release speeds and survive A-rank ninjutsu or S-rank physical techniques assuming they don't have defense piercing without a scratch. The amount of dragons able to be controlled varies with the user's rank (each has it's own price) In order to attack they use their defensive ability in conjunction with their speed to smash into opponents to deal A-rank physical damage to victims. Name: Earth Release: Earth & Stone Dragon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (A-rank Chakra & A-rank Mud Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Varies, Mid (Mud Bullets)
Description: Req. An Earth Flow Series Technique currently active on field & user has learnt Earth Release: Tearing Earth Dragon & Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet. This technique combines the traits of it's two composite techniques in which case a dragon comprised of earth is then clad with mud to give it a more impressive appearance (Medium M). Not only are the dragons produced by this technique very quick, capable of moving at Vacuum Release, as well as possessing a durability which prevents them from being destroyed unless by an A-rank chakra based technique or an S-rank physical technique (or A-rank Physical with piercing that's good against Earth) but they also have a set amount of Mud materia within them. This mud materia allows them to spit out mud bullets which can pelt targets up to 80ft away each one moving at A-rank speed, the amount of mud materia each Earth & Stone Dragon has is dependent on the user's skill level which also determines how many can be produced at once and controlled in battle. Finally it can be smashed into targets to deal A-rank physical based earth release dmg. In addition to it's offensive uses the Earth & Stone Dragon can be rode into battle and controlled more fluidly as long as the user either maintains contact with it or holds the Snake hand seal. Rank of User - No of Earth & Stone Dragons - Mud Materia within each Mud & Stone Dragon D - 1 - B C - 1 - 2 B (A) B - 2 - 3 B A - 2 - 4 B (S) S - 3 - 5 B *Note - Depending on the Mud Materia put into each mud bullet the size and dmg dealt differs ranging from D (Tiny), C (Small), B (Humanoid), A (Medium S) & capping at S (Medium M).
Name: Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand seals before ending in a gesture unique to this technique which involves the user cupping their dominant hand with their other and then twisting it to initiate the technique. This technique causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them at Vacuum Release speeds. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to the area spreading over a distance of 80 ft (radius). This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave whereas in other types of terrain it's power wanes leading some to think that this technique is of a lower rank than it truly is. Name: Earth Release: Sandwich Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A (A-rank Chakra Price, Variable Earth Materia Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: Req. A-rank or above AOE Earth Source. The user creates two massive rock formations that close in on the opponent from opposing sides with a powerful force, smashing everything caught in between at Vacuum Release speeds. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing certain size creatures depending on the user's skill level, and each requires strength above A in order to hold them back. Upon slamming into an opponent the victim is dealt A-rank Earth Release chakra based crushing damage which if they managed to brace themselves to prevent being crushed they are immobilized and can be kept like that by the user keeping their palms on the ground albeit for a constant A-rank price of chakra each turn their victim is held in place. Furthermore each rock formation is rather durable being unable to be scratched by any A-rank or below physical technique while each is capable of being destroyed by an A-rank technique either with defense piercing or is strong against Earth Release. Those creatures which have a size difference with the rock formation will find themselves requiring higher levels of strength to push back each side in order to prevent their crushing. When copious amounts of earth materia is used for this technique it is showcased by an increased density making it more resilient to physical based techniques in comparison to normal. Name: Earth Release: Mudslide Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S (S-rank Chakra & Variable Earth Materia Price) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short (Height), Mid (Width), Long (Distance)
Description: Req. Long or AOE A-rank Water Release technique currently active on the field. After making hand seals before punching the ground, the user makes a mudslide due to displacing the available earth materia in a waterlogged area which moves towards an opponent at a fast pace of blinding light speeds. This causes a column of earth to rise up before colliding with an opponent knocking them off their feet if they lack Strength Tiers dependent on the mud materia comprising the mudslide and are partially buried 20 ft underneath the mud. The impact itself is fairly strong dealing A-rank Earth Release chakra based damage as it covers a distance of 80 ft while spreading over a 40 ft radius in a conical shape. By holding the snake hand seal it can be kept active (B-rank chakra price each Turn active) continuously spreading so long as additional earth materia is available dealing variable damage to all of those trapped within every post (total) they are buried underneath the soil. Name: Earth Release: Golem Technique - Boulder Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Golem), Short (Distance), Mid (Knock-back)
Description: Req. Earth Release: Golem Technique to be learnt. After making hand seals the user is capable of causing a hand similar to that of the Golem technique to emerge from the ground which attempts to trip an opponent moving at blinding light speed within 25 ft of the user if they lack strength S-rank or above. If the victim lacks S-rank Vibration sensory or S-rank Reaction speed upon being tripped they fall to the ground leaving them open to the hand shifting into a fully formed Golem emerging from the ground which delivers a punch to knock them flying up to 50 ft away. The damage that is dealt is based on the strength of the user's Golem (technique), and this technique similar to others within the Golem line can be used as an extension of another rock using Earth Release technique upon the learning of Hand Seal String: Golem Technique. Rank (Size of Hand) - Size of Victim (Fall Damage Sustained) D (Humanoid) - Humanoid or Below (D) C (Medium S) - Medium (C) B (Medium M) - Large (B) A (Medium L) - Bijuu (A) S (Medium XL) - Colossus or Above (S)
Name: Earth Release: Golem Technique - Earth Flattener Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Golem), Short (Distance), Contact (Crater)
Description: Req. Earth Release: Golem Technique to be learnt. After making hand seals the user creates the upper torso of what seems to resemble the Golem technique which lunges as strikes an opponent within 25 ft with a uppercut incoming at blinding light speed. Regardless of if it connects or not the user follows up by forming the torso into a full golem, which brings it's other hand towards the ground to finish off the opponent or capitalize on their dodge and flatten the earth within a 5 ft radius of their palm. The damage is dealt to all of those within the crater however if the punch lands the victim is lifted into the air unless they can brace their body with S-rank or above strength before being slammed into the ground thus sustaining more damage as a result. Rank (Size of Hand) - Size of Victim (Fall Damage Sustained) D (Humanoid) - Bijuu or Above (D) C (Medium S) - Large (C) B (Medium M) - Medium (B) A (Medium L) - Humanoid (A) S (Medium XL) - Small or below (S)
Name: Earth Release: Earth-Style Rampart Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S (Variable Chakra Price + Earth Materia Price) Class: Defensive Range: Short (Thickness), Mid (Distance)
Description: Req. Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall. This technique makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet, by shaping the ground and condensing the available earth with chakra. The earth comprised rampart then instantly rises up and takes form at Blinding Light, and if normal earth is utilized alongside a chakra price this wall is unable to be scratched by physical techniques or projectiles backed by strength, up to 1-rank below to the amount of earth materia used. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal rampart of lodestone resulting in it being unable to be breached by anything short of a defense piercing technique strong against Earth Release which is equal to the chakra infused in it. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, it can be quite draining thus novice users must learn how to carefully manage their reserves to get the most out of this technique. Rank of User (Shape Formed) - Chakra Price/Chk+Materia Price (Size of Wall) D (Cube) - C, 3 D+C (Medium S) C (Prism) - B, C+B (Medium M) B (Dome) - A, B+A (Medium L) A (Pyramid) - S, A+S (Medium XL) S (Cone) - SS, S+SS (Large S) "Z" (Any Shape Combination) - SSS, SS+SSS (Large M)
Name: Earth Release: Lithic Press Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S (S-rank Earth Materia Per Cube) Class: Offensive Range: Long (Distance), Mid (Cubes), AOE (Lithic Press)
Description: The user of this Earth Release ninjutsu creates a cube out of solid stone together which is at first split into four parts, trapping anything inside. Each part is essentially a smaller cube with a length of up to 50 ft each being capable of moved at blinding light speeds up to 100 ft away from the user in order to entrap a victim. Once trapped they surround the victim with the space in between them being a rectangle and initially leaving the top portion open for either herding a victim into escaping upward or allowing for a space for additional techniques to be thrown into the barricade. After forming the snake hand seal, two parts of the cube like boulders will move towards each other with the intention to bruise the opponents inside (S-rank Earth Release chakra based crushing damage) forming a much larger cube with a length of 100 ft. Each cube is fairly durable being resistant to physical techniques including those with piercing so long as they are not strong against Earth Release, whereas S-rank chakra based techniques are capable of destroying a single cube if they possess piercing properties. All in all this technique is mainly tactical in it's use as skilled users can find more versatile methods of entrapping their opponents due to how easy it is to control the split cubes. Rank - Cube Size (Lilith Press Cube) D - 10 ft (40 ft) C - 20 ft (80 ft) B - 30 ft (120 ft) A - 40 ft (160 ft) S - 50 ft (200 ft) "Z" - 60 ft (240 ft) "X" - 70 ft (280 ft)
Name: Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S (S-rank Chakra Price Or Variable Chakra Price) Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user makes hand seals before slamming her palms on the ground resulting in the use of this impressive area effecting technique. By changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a swamp, the user can sink her enemy into the mud at blinding light speeds if they were originally standing on the ground or submerged under it. Those who aren't are unable to stand on top of the swamp unless they constantly cycle an S-rank of chakra each post (total) they remain in contact with it to their feet (consumed from max reserves during contact) while those who fall in or managed to avoid being sucked under by jumping fall into it at varying speeds based on their size. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp unless they either possess Strength above S, a S-rank Strength+Speed tier chain or possess S-rank strength along with a S-rank Underground Movement technique. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique (S-rank Chakra Price), it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp (175 ft radius with a 200ft depth) which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures. User Rank - Width (Radius in Feet) - Depth (ft) D - 25 ft - 50 ft C - 50 ft - 100 ft B - 100 ft - 150 ft A - 150 ft - 200 ft S - 200 ft - 250 ft Chakra Price (S/SS/SS) - 175/200/250 - 200/240/260 Size of Target - Fall Speed into Swamp Tiny - N/A (Normal Running Speed) Small - D Humanoid - C Medium - B Large - A Colossus - S Bijuu - SS Titanic - SSS
Name: Earth Release: Devouring Earth Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS (SS-rank Chakra Price & S-rank Earth Price Per Jaws) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: AOE (Radius), Long (Depth), Mid (Height), Short (Width)
Description: After making hand seals the user preforms a lifting motion with their hands which results in this technique. This technique allows said user to control the rocks and stones in a 200 ft radius to attack the enemy at Blinding light speeds. Dependent on the user's skill level this can be used to create several enormous jaws which emerge from the ground up to 50 ft into the air each having a width of 25 ft which then swallow the enemy. This deals S-rank Earth Release when they are crushed by the jaws which then burrow deep (100 ft) into the earth in order to bury their victims underneath intense pressure. Due to the pressure underground victims require an S-rank breath holding technique in order to hold their breath while dragged underground otherwise dependent on their endurance tiers they will suffocate after a set amount of posts (total). Those who have been buried underground require an SS-rank Underground movement technique + enough Speed/Strength in order to escape before they suffocate. If they lack it, then with SS-rank Strength they can digtheir way out at a set distance based on their size (similar to movement speed). Rank (No. of Jaws) - Endurance Tiers (P.T till suffocation) D (1) - None (1 P.T) C (1) - D (3 P.T) B (2) - C (6 P.T) A (2) - B (9 P.T) S (3) - A (12 P.T "Z" (3) - S (15 P.T) "X" (4) - SS (18 P.T)
Name: Earth Release: Ground Bedrock Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS (Variable Chakra Price, SS-rank Earth Price) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Long (Height), Mid (Width), Short (Depth), AOE (Distance)
Description: After preforming the necessary seals the user creates two walls of earth to crush an opponent within them at Ripping Discord Speeds. These walls are of determinant size however this technique always requires a large amount of rock in order to utilize and can be sprouted up to 240 ft away from the user. This is because the ground splits before rising upward and then shutting again causing victims of certain sizes to plummet downwards further making them vulnerable if they lack a SS-rank air-movement technique to escape the walls slamming shut. Each wall is as durable as the chakra placed into this technique and this technique can be used to capture and crush multiple opponents depending on their size. The damage dealt to a victim is dependent on the chakra put into this technique as despite it's speed of capture this technique is unable to crush opponents if a sufficient amount of chakra isn't placed within it. Chakra Price - Wall Height (Width, Depth) - Victim Size (Fall Speed) D - 20 (10, 5) - Humanoid (Swift Release) C - 40 (20, 10) - Medium S-M (Bullet Release) B - 60 (30, 15) - Medium L-XL (Crashing Ground) A - 80 (40, 20) - Large S-M (Vacuum Release) S - 100 (50, 25) - Large L-XL (Blinding Light) SS - 120 (60, 30) - Bijuu (Ripping Discord) SSS - 140 (70, 35) - Colossus-Titanic (Echoing Flash)
Name: Earth Release: Golem Technique - Rock Prayer Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Golem), Short (Distance), Contact (Crater)
Description: Req. Earth Release: Golem Technique to be learnt. After making hand seals the user places his hand on the ground resulting in two arms bursting from the ground resembling that of the Golem technique up to 30 ft away from the user. These arms are capable of clapping an opponent moving at Ripping Discord speeds between them to deal SS-rank Earth Release chakra based damage before being morphed into a Golem with it's arms wrapped around the victim. As a result if they lack SS-rank Reaction Tiers or SS-rank Vibration sensory to detect the hands, after being struck the target is immobilized preventing escape and hand seals in accordance to the strength of the user's Earth Golem. For ever size magnitude larger the Golem is in comparison to the immobilized opponent they require a Tier higher in strength to break free from it's two armed bear hug. Name: Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS Class: Defensive/Supplementary Range: AOE, Contact (Knock-back)
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground in the surrounding area, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground at Ripping Discord speeds. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered or raised to is also up to the user's skill. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance (unless they possess a SS-rank or higher balancing technique), making it even harder to avoid the attack. Other than being moved below or above ground — relative to the surrounding surface — the terrain is not altered as plant life and people retain their same positions when this technique is used. This technique can be utilized by multiple individuals so long as they possess an earth affinity and one individual knows this technique, however the others must pay double the price (SSS) in order to preform it. In this case the scale of this technique is increased depending on the amount of individuals preforming it (Max 11 including initial user of technique) Rank - Area of Effect - Reaction Debuff (Additional Knock-Back) - D - 40 ft radius - N/A (1 ft) C - 80 ft radius - 1 Tier Levels (2 ft) B - 120 ft radius - 2 Tier Levels (3 ft) A - 160 ft radius - 3 Tier Levels (4 ft) S - 200 ft radius - 4 Tier Levels (5 ft) "Z" - 240 ft radius - 5 Tier Levels (6 ft) "X" - 280 ft radius - 6 Tier Levels (7 ft)
Name: Earth Release: Opening Earth Rising Excavation Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SSS Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Underground), Short or Long (Pillars), Mid or AOE (Knock-back)
Description:Req. SSS-rank or above AOE Earth technique or Land Terrain currently active/available on field. This technique can be used in two ways either a singular version which is massive in size or perform a smaller scaled version which bring forth multiple earth pillars over up to a 280 ft radius away from the user. After making hand seals, with this technique, the user can bring up on the surface something that is deep underground. Targets are launched in air with great strength and speed clocking at Echoing Flash and requiring SSS-rank Strength to remain buried underground, the result of which has the appearance and nearly the size of an erupting volcano. It can force a large number of targets hidden underground to resurface all at once or be used to prematurely erupt a volcano or bring ground water flooding to the surface. Regardless of what is underground it is brought upward if it is unable to brace themselves, whereas those which do sustain SSS-rank internal damage unless they likewise possess SSS-rank Endurance Tiers due to the force of the eruption. Depending on the skill of the user the size or number of pillars created varies, furthermore the height from which victims fall from this technique determines how much fall damage they sustain upon their landing. | Mental Based Earth Release Techniques- Genjutsu:
Name: Earthen Illusion Style Classification: Fighting Style Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary, Offensive Range: Self (Genjutsu), Varies
Description: This is a unique genjutsu fighting style which branches away from the original method of utilizing a genjutsu technique by incorporating the Earth Release Nature Transformation. The Earthen Illusion Style is a hybrid of olfactory and gustatory genjutsu which in addition to being able to be triggered by layering genjutsu within a Earth Release (G. Earth & Clay count as well) technique can have it's trigger requirements met upon the smell or taste of soil, stones or minerals. Due to being elemental in nature like other elemental genjutsu types it overpowers ambient genjutsu when put against it however it suffers from the same elemental weaknesses and strengths as normal earth. When layering a Earthen Illusion inside of a Earth Release technique the genjutsu are only required to be placed in spoilers if the opponent has a chakra sensory technique which allows one to analyze the amount of chakra put into a technique or possesses genjutsu detection equal to the rank of the genjutsu being layered. Upon contact with such a technique this type of genjutsu is called a chakra trigger which can only be Kai'd out of if an individual has Endurance Tiers equal to the rank of the Earth Release technique which struck them. While this style is not required to unlock access to Earthen Illusions (Earth Release Genjutsu), it is required to get the styles benefits.
- Fabrication:
Hybrid Based Earth Release Techniques- Nintaijutsu:
Name: Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: One of the many earth release chakra flow using Nintaijutsu technique, mainly due to not requiring hand seals with the ground simply softening immensely the user slipping into the ground using their speed tiers in order to initiate this technique. This technique is used for sneaking and striking silently, like a fish underwater, and then suddenly appearing to the ground's surface making it a formidable underground movement technique. While moving through the ground only those with either X-rank vision, a C-rank or higher vibration sensory technique can detect the user while those who can't require Reaction Tiers equal to her own to dodge her taijutsu techniques. Furthermore, it's even more efficient when employed in a crowded area that, if the target notices something, can be overrun by the nearby masses, or with distractions like a Clone Technique to draw the enemy's attention negating the effect of, X-ray vision, muscle tension & time-slowing dojutsu as aids in dodging.
Name: Earth Release: Rock Armor Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Chakra, C-rank Rock) Class: Defensive/Supplementary Range: Self
Description: This technique makes earth-chakra flow through the body, absorbing the properties of rock around the user to form a skin-deep armor that is transparent and is only visible when light reflects off it. Despite encasing the user's body, the armor has no apparent affect on the user's speed or agility. The armor is shown to be able to defend from all forms of blunt-force trauma C-rank and below. At the same time, it enhances the user's strength for more powerful physical strikes and break free or through restraints and walls being able to simulate C-rank strength when striking objects. Because this technique works by constantly absorbed earth properties, it requires no extra chakra after initiating it, yet still needs a sufficient amount of rock to be performed otherwise it is unable to be used, thus when first initiated this technique requires contact with the stone being used. While powerful, it is highly absorbent and too much water (1 B-rank) will eventually affect the user's mobility and reduce its defensive might by 1-rank slowing them by the same amount while also making them more vulnerable to physical attacks. Also, if in a muddy terrain, the user's excess weight can lead to sinking under at bullet release speeds.
Name: Earth Release: Earth Mausoleum Dumpling Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact (Earth), Mid (Height)
Description: With chakra control and superhuman strength, the user lifts up the very surface of Gaia by coursing chakra through their hands and fingertips and using their chakra control to easily extract a lump of earth (materia). The lump of earth is typically gigantic, guaranteeing its destructive power though skilled users are able to grab a larger amount than those who have less experience. But even just the visual impact can be enough to make enemies lose their fighting spirit and can intimidate creatures enough to make them run away (Requires B-rank Barrier Tiers or above to be able to continue to utilize Fighting Spirit/or to not be frightened to run away if an animal/creature). The ball of earth is then hurled at his opponent, flattening everything in its path to deal Earth Release physical damage based on it's size while the height that it is thrown from can increase it's impact damage. Often due to the weight of the lump of earth victims are either crushed or pinned underneath it by the same token the user still does need enough strength to lift the boulders from the ground which can be determined by one's carry-weight. Rank - Size of Mausoleum Dumpling - Earth Materia in Dumpling (Weight) - Height (Fall Dmg Multiplier) D - Medium XL (D) - B (25) - 10ft (1x) C - Large S (C) - 2 B (50) - 20ft (2x) B - Large M (B) - 3 B (75) - 30ft (3x) A - Large L (A) - 4 B (100) - 40ft (4x) S - Large XL (S) - 5 B (125) - 50ft (5x)
Name: Earth Release: Chakra Mode Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: A-rank (A-rank Chakra Drain Each Post) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Self
Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of earth chakra using chakra flow that, instead of being used offensively, is used to harden the user's skin granting them increased constitution (A-rank), which when used with natural tiers to make them on par with samurai (A+). The defensive aspect of this technique comes from it's ability to shroud the user in earth creating a layer which is capable of taking damage from up to A-rank Hybrid based damage sources before failing (damage stacks). When utilized at it's peak (A+ Defense Tiers) the user is capable of moving underground, enhancing their underground movement speed by bolstering the distance covered in 1 P.T by 4 ft. This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilize nintaijutsu (Earth Release: Hybrid Knock-Back). When utilizing this technique alongside actual Nintaijutsu techniques however it launches opponents flying when struck by the user's hits dependent on the user's strength tier. Strength Tier -Additional Knock-back D - Plus 5 ft C - Plus 10 ft B - Plus 15 ft A - Plus 20 ft S - Plus 25 ft
Name: Earth Release: Chakra Armor Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: S (Activation Price) Class: Supplementary/Defensive Range: Self
Description: The user wraps their body in a layer of Earth chakra using chakra flow that, instead of being used offensively, is used to harden their skin granting them increased constitution (S-rank) when used with natural tiers to make them with samurai (S+). This mode, combined with taijutsu, allows the users to utilize nintaijutsu (Earth Release: Hybrid Knock-Back). When using the Armour at full power (S-rank+ Defense), it causes the user's hair & clothing to become stiff, and their eyes to glow white when seen with chakra vision. While this is active, the user is capable of moving underground, enhancing their underground movement speed by bolstering the distance covered in 1 P.T by 5 ft. The number of post (total) the user can maintain this technique is not only based on their skill level but likewise their Endurance Tiers. Likewise thanks to surrounding their body with Earth the user is encased in it requiring a S-rank Defense Piercing hybrid (& equivalents except Physical to which it requires SS) technique good against Earth Release to even damage them. Rank - Skill Modifier (Posts Total) - Endurance Tier (Modifier) N/A - N/A - None (Constant Duration Price to keep active) D - +0 - D (+1) C - +1 - C (+2) B - +2 - B (+3) A - +3 - A (+4) S - +4 - S (+5) (Insert Name)'s No. of Posts before Chakra Price req. after activation = (Insert Number) P.T

| Spiritual Based Earth Release Techniques- Fuinjutsu:
Name: Earth Release: Mud Wolves Classification: Fuinjutsu/Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank (C-rank Mud & Chakra Price Per Wolf) Class: Offensive Range: Short-Mid
Description: Requires Storage Scroll & Either Earth Release or Earth Release Sealing Method. A trap technique that is activated upon coming in contact with the opponent's chakra as a result it does not need to be placed in spoiler tags until activated. The user uses a scroll to lay a trap where mud will shape into wolves that will attack the enemy, the amount of mud the scroll can store depends on the number of wolves formed with scrolls with large amounts of storage making this technique deadly. Each wolf moves at bullet release speeds and can deal C-rank earth release chakra damage while using their jaws and claws to pin down opponents with C-rank strength often using multiple wolves to stack their combined strength to bring down strong foes. Despite being damaged, the wolves will simply reform at C-rank speed, keeping the enemy occupied while the user makes a getaway unless they are destroyed by an element strong against earth or by a spiritual/natural based technique. The only drawback about this technique is that is time-consuming to set up and can allow the opponent to catch up if not pre-prepared. Speed Tier - Preparation Speed on the Field (P.T.) D - 20 C - 15 B - 10 A - 5 S - 3
Name: Earth Release: Mutability Classification: Ninjutsu/Fuinjutsu Rank: S-rank (S-rank Rock Price, Optional S-rank Blood Price) Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon, or uses the earth around him, to be used for other techniques which has a radius of. The user can channel his chakra into the earth to alter the formation, aiding them in sneak attacks. The rocks form numerous pillars and has a set radius of 200 ft encompassing a huge area, while each pillar extends anywhere from 100 ft to 200 ft as they aren't all uniform. This technique while not defensive in nature is fairly resistant being able to sustain damage from S-rank chakra based techniques (and their equivalents with other damage types) without piercing as long as they aren't good against Earth Release, while being able to sustain the damage from SS-rank physical based techniques following the same trend. Regardless it typically requires the entire terrain to be wiped out otherwise for half the initial activation cost more rock can be summoned to replace what was destroyed. Alternatively, by offering a donation of blood; in addition to the earth/rock price, they can summon, or use, rocks, or earth, in the design of a Altering Terrain Diagram Formula. Which gives the user nearly free control over how things are shaped and how large of an area is shaped as long as they have knowledge enough to make an accurate map of it.

| Earth Release Fighting Styles- Spoiler:
Name: Assimilate All Creation Classification: Fighting Style Rank: S Class: Supplementary, Defensive, Offensive Range: Self (Earth Release Ninjutsu), Contact (Earth Substance)
Description: Req. at least High Earth Affinity. The Assimilate All Creation fighting style enables the user to take on the properties of a nearby object, material, or substance, and any of its special characteristics so long as they are earth materia (includes mud, soil & rock). Upon taking on the properties of the targeted object, the user themselves becomes completely comprised of the material, while gaining any special characteristics and weaknesses attributed to it. They are also able to manipulate any substance similar to what was absorbed, allowing them to mold it into different forms to create various ninjutsu techniques of their own, while also allowing use of ninjutsu involved with said substance without the need of hand seals. Should the need arise, they are able to generate more of the emulated substance from their bodies using chakra. Despite it's overall power it requires the user to invest in learning techniques to bring forth it's true power and despite their body being comprised of the material they are still able to be affected by physical based techniques albeit being able to apply their Endurance Tiers towards mitigating some of the damage. Furthermore depending on the skill of the user they are capable of taking properties from select grades of materia and they are incapable of using more than one at a time being forced to switch between different materia after establishing contact with them once more. The primary weakness of this fighting style lies in the need to have copious amounts of chakra in order to be able to maintain one's unique form and utilize powerful techniques, as when the user's chakra is depleted they revert to normal and become unable to effectively use this fighitng style. Rank(Materia Grade) - Endurance Tier(Physical Resistance) D (I) - D (Halves D-rank Dmg) C (II) - C (Halves C-rank Dmg) B (III) - B (Halves B-rank Dmg) A (IV) - A (Halves A-rank Dmg) S (V) - S (Halves S-rank Dmg) "Z" (VI) - SS (Halves SS-rank Dmg) "X" (VII) - SSS (Halves SSS-rank Dmg)

Hidden Village Exclusives (Haka)Because Hakagakure (The Village Hidden within the Graves) specializes in Earth Release it like it's other Hidden Village counterparts has access to techniques which are unable to be learned anywhere else & have signatured even some of the techniques in Canon. While this does not mean they are unable to be learned it does mean that they are only taught in Hakagakure either usually at a certain rank, and Haka Nin are expressly forbidden to teach them to Non-Hakagakure shinobi. An exception can only be made by a PC Kage. In addition rarely techniques are still spread around despite attempts of secrecy due to missing nin, stealing of scrolls or simply disobeying orders, in such cases the technique may be in the master list albeit in a variant or less mastered form. Furthermore like all Hidden Villages Hakagakure gained it's impressive technique list due to contributions from it's clans and active or retired shinobi. As a result Hakagakure Shinobi can submit techniques to be added to the list and will be compensated accordingly (Xel), clans can also make contribution typically submitting less complex or alternate variants of the original technique so as to maintain their clans advantage if encountering it in the field. - Haka Exclusive Earth Release techniques:
Name:Earth Release: Hidden Rock Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: This is the signature technique of the Hakagakure hunter corps taught to them by those of the Suisho Clan upon their joining of the village during it's founding. This technique allows the user to blend into rocks and then move in and out of other rocks undetected, to a higher degree than other underground movement techniques. It is shown that this technique is usable on any form of earth even rocks and dirt while likewise maintaining concealment from view. As a result it conceals the user from not only sight but likewise vibration sensory techniques with the latter depending on the substance they are passing through. However, chakra sensory can detect them instantly if they are partially submerged though those with X-ray Vision in addition to chakra sensory can detect them even while concealed underground depending on the user's skill level. While leaving concealment, the earth is slightly distorted as it raises from the ground up to reveal the user which is why chakra sensory techniques are capable of detecting the user. Type of Ground (Vibration Concealment) - Rank (Chakra Sensory Req.) Sand (D) - D (Any) Soil (C) - C (D) Mud (B) - B (C) Rock (A) - A (B) Volcanic Rock (S) - S (A)
Name:Earth Release: Rock Lodging Destruction Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: AOE
Description:Activation Time of 7 P.T. prior to use. After making hand seals ending with Snake this technique is capable of being used however, due to being trap based this technique is not required to be placed in spoiler tags until it is triggered unless a victim possesses B-rank or above Vibration Sensory. This technique causes a cave-in by destroying the equilibrium that holds the cave together. Just removing a single vital stone throws off the balance of the cave, making it unexpectedly fragile and causing a domino effect that destroys the entire cave at Crashing Ground speeds. This occurs from the end of the cave with the speed of the cave-in increasing overtime in a conical pattern until reaching the mouth of the cave when used by skilled user. The shinobi from Hakagakure use this technique as part of their pride tactic, often luring several enemies into a cave to kill them all at once. Cave Size (Dmg Dealt by cave-in) - Rank (Cave in Spd Per Distance) Place (No Sub Levels) - D (+1 Tier Level Every 240 ft) 2 Places (1 Sub Level) - C (+1 Tier Level Every 120 ft) 3 Places (2 Sub-Levels) - B (+1 Tier Level Every 60 ft) 4 Places (3 Sub Levels) - A (+1 Tier Level Every 30 ft) 1 Location (4 or more Sub Levels) - S (+1 Tier Level Every 15 ft)
