History:Growing up, Diana didn’t know much about her parents as she was left in the care of her guardian from birth. No one seemed to know what had happened to them, some say they were killed on a mission, others said that they simply just disappeared and were never heard from since but ever since she knew Zhao, she had a feeling that he knew exactly what had happened. There were times he would mutter things about a second lineage whenever they were learning training and he would often teach her techniques that he would claim to be beyond anything anyone would ever know. Truth be told she always thought he had missing a few screws but he was the only family she had so she simply ignored him and his weird chatter. Besides the odd conversations with her uncle, she lived a rather ordinary life where she graduated from the academy and became a genin at the age of eleven. Equipment Name: Denki Kunai Type of Equipment: Kunai Rank: D How Many: 5 in a Pack Appearance: Denki Kunai are noticeable due to their unique appearance, as they are completely straight with the outer edge being serrated while the inner is smooth like a normal kunai blade. It has a dark orange appearance due to being mainly comprised of Denki however the flat of the blade has the Denkou clan symbol. It is the same width from the hilt of the blade to the tip with the point of the blade being flat rather than pointed making it better geared towards slashing rather than throwing or thrusting into targets. The hilt has a small gaurd and is parrallel to the tip however it has no ring at the end, instead it has a small hole which is the exact size to push Denki Cord into which about 2 inches worth can snuggly fits inside of it the rest trailing behind it. Likewise the hilt itself has five holes which ninja wire can be weaved through to secure it to the weapon.
Special Ability: *Due to incorporating Denki this weapon has the ability to retain the charge of electricity conducted through it converting said electricity into physical lightning materia. It isn't simply limited to pure Lightning as a result and includes the conversion of chakra which is made more efficient by using chakra conductive materials but likewise it can store Lightning of other damage types at the cost of consuming from the weapons durability. Unfortunately Denki Kunai are the least viable for such a use as any damage type other than physical or chakra can only be converted up to a 4 D-ranks worth as any more would completely destroy the weapon. Due to it's serrated edge it is capable of inflicting bleed damage when victims are cut by it to sustain an additional +1 D of blood loss. Denki Kunai are quite heavy and while not meant to be thrown due to not being aerodynamic (Half distance covered when thrown) they will knock away lighter projectiles which aren't backed by strength out of the air when on route to a target even if not backed by strength themselves. When Denki Cord is pushed into the small hole it forms a snug fit which is only able to be pulled out by D-rank strength tiers but since it's simply pushed in and not tied around less prep time is wasted when doing so in battle to allow a more flexible use of their Denki Cord if needed. A single pack of Denkou Kunai is given to every Denkou who enrolls in the Academy for them to have in order to get used to the balance and because it is frowned on within the clan to use non-clan weaponry. Description: Cypher have an acute sensing ability allowing them to react to speeds one rank above them. This sensing ability works hand in hand with their hand eye co-ordination allowing them to accurately hit moving opponents with thrown items as long as the opponents speed is equal or lower than the rank of their Reaction Tiers.
Name: Iaido Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D-rank (Cypher Only) Class: Offensive Range: Close (Proximity to Trigger), Short (+Displacement Aura)
Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realised with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura. Description: This technique stems from the amount of willpower people put into their blows, Cypher have learned to harness this willpower and translate it into a sort of an invisible physical aura which allows them to extend the range of their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu by 1 foot. Meaning if the blow seems like it didn't connect due to the opponent narrowly dodging it the blow will still hit them albeit at a 1-rank lower than the original damage simply due to the physical aura which envelops them in battle. This makes engaging in a physical battle with a Cypher a very high risk for amateurs in close ranged combat.

Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user is able to see the path of an opponents weapon simply based on the faint twitches of their muscles. This allows them to predict the opponents movements when they are using close range weapons such as swords, knives, staffs etc. This technique is a set up for more powerful techniques using Iaido however it is also very useful in dodging. Users of this technique can predict the kenjutsu used by opponents from B-rank & below (Low, High & Elite) as long as they are within their Iaido range.

Description: Since birth, Diana had noticed that she was a bit more aligned to Lightning than other Denkous. This, of course, was no coincidence as this “mutation” had derived from the fact that her father and those before him were Lightning Elementals as her great-grandfather had the mythical beast and the embodiment of lightning sealed within him. With that said, Diana was born with Perfect Affinity ability. This grants her a Very High Affinity towards Lightning. Unlike those who were before, this mutation causes her to gain one less element that she would normally be able to attain through training.

Description: Though she was born and raised within the Erlang Clan, there was always the inherent feeling in the back of her mind that this wasn’t where she truly belonged. Although this feeling was often ignored, the truth was that that lingering feeling was correct. Unknown to her at the moment, she is a member of the infamous Isley Family a family known for producing legendary swordsmen and women. The reason why she had no clue of this was due to the fact that the family had gone underground ever since the destruction of the Pandora Empire and that her guardian didn’t think it was time for her to know such information as it could possibly shape her future as a shinobi. Like most Isley Family members, Diana has a natural talent for Kenjutsu and as such her guardian has been training her in the art of the sword for as long as she could remember, more specifically the Isley Family style techniques. This passive allows Diana to learn any Isley family techniques and their derivatives be it T.A.T or otherwise and also allows her to retrain the T.A.T techniques equal to her rank up to SSS at 'X'-Rank. Description: Of all the members of the Isley Family, Xander was by far the most fearsome and well-known. He also left the largest mark on the family's Kenjutsu, as he had a hand in developing the fighting styles of his adoptive sons, their wives and even their children, making him the main reason they are such a force to be reckoned with. This is one such mark, a style that involves the practitioner using their Kenjutsu with no wasted movement, nor any indication of when or where they are going to attack before they actually do. This was cultivated through extensive practice, eliminating any sign their muscles might give away in terms of their movements and also removing all forms of Killing Intent from their form. This acts as a potent counter to most if not all forms of visual perception, as those who rely on "predicting" an opponent's movement are oft not prepared to face spontaneous movement. Lack of Intent causes the user's Kenjutsu to bypass perception enhancers based on the user's speed compared to that of their target, causing their Kenjutsu to become "unreadable" to that individual. Those with naturally enhanced speed are able to utilize this style to a much greater degree than those without it. Name: Isley Style Kenjutsu Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: The Isley are a family known for their prowess in all things concerning Kenjutsu, and despite being a family rather than a clan their capabilities with a sword far surpass that of clans who claim to be masters of Kenjutsu, such as the Erlang or the Chromatica. Their prowess is due to several factors, including the presence of Samurai and Cypher heritage within most if not all blood members of the family, the integration of several different sword styles into their own arsenal and the extensive study of long lost sword practices. These factors have made the Isley Family the most varied swordsmen history has come to know, as well as the most feared and dangerous. This variation ensures that the Isley have no set style or form, but rather each member forges their own method of swordsmanship whether through making styles from scratch, modifying other styles they've learned or fusing their styles together to form something new. There is one thing that all Isley styles have in common, and that is a focus on speed, perception or both, often generating a fusion that makes it so enemies who are incapable of keeping up with the Isley's strikes will fall victim to a flurry of blades, while also enabling the user to combat the likes of Muscle Tension, Time Slowing Dojutsu and those with Precognition or Premonition. The Isley are unique in that all of their techniques are available to be retrained as though one were a True All Taijutsu Shinobi, whether they are one or not. This allows them to grow the strength of their techniques through refining and perfecting their form, rather than simply learning and using the basic, promoting the ideal of mastery through perfection.

Description: Two Blade's brought about two different styles of combat and thus new tactics when it came to utilizing Kenjutsu, and such Hiro after watching his mentor began to refine his use of Kenjutsu to incorporate these changes. Now while utilizing his kenjutsu techniques he is able to make use of his kenjutsu striking twice rather than once. The first strike is made with the larger sword while the follow up is made by the shorter one geared at capitalizing on a victim's initial response be it block or dodge however when using swords of the same length &/or weight either can be swung first further confusing an opponent. This ensures that he is able to dish out death twice as effectively as before and those who block the first strike but do not keep up their defense a moment later (1 Post Total) will suffer from the damage of the follow-up strike.

Description: Xan has hailed himself as something of a kenjutsu master, he knows it, those who have fought him or alongside him know it, and Hiro being Xan's apprentice not only knows it but will eventually be it. But what exactly does the title Kenjutsu master ultimately mean, to Hiro it means the ability to chain kenjutsu techniques in one flowing motion without pause and without hesitation like his mentor. This momentum is generated from the moment a kenjutsu strike is launched allowing Hiro to follow up with kenjutsu after kenjutsu to prey on those who attempt to simply outlast a strike. When this is done, the strikes work in tandem to bring down defenses that would otherwise negate them. This combined damage is dealt over and over while stacking like a combination technique to eventually weaken and thus cut through an existing defense or structure. When utilized in combination with Dual Wielding it's power truly shines as Hiro is capable of delivering kenjutsu strikes in a frenzy forcing victims to either keep up their defense until it is eventually sliced through or loosen it and fall prey to the slash immediately after the last one dealt. Sure enough, it has its drawbacks as to unleash multiple strikes consecutively is tiring in terms of stamina depletion but the gain is well worth the risk.

- Body Flicker Series:
Name: Body Flicker Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description:Diana's custom version of this basic but now forgotten ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly causing their movement to be unable to be seen with the naked eye and to appear blurred to those without reaction tiers even with dojutsu. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. This technique can be used in combination with one's natural speed to enhance the speed of the technique requiring reaction tiers equal to the top speed of the user to be able to track this movement or sensory based techniques equal to the user's rank to see them moving.
Name: Lightning Release: Body Flicker Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-Rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Self, Contact (Discharge)
Description: Req. Body Flicker Technique. Diana is a natural at the body flicker technique if only because of her high affinity to the Lightning Nature Transformation, it only made sense she took this movement speed technique one step further. This was done by imbuing the rapid movement technique with her lightning release to imbue it with static electric currents which is generated by kinetic energy. The way Diana uses it is a rapid boost in the movement which allows her to quickly change directions without any reduction of speed or loss of momentum while discharging a large amount of electricity (C-rank Lightning Release chakra based damage) in the vicinity during the momentum switch. This technique shares the other effects of the original technique being more costly due to the element infused in it, while the radius of the discharge effect depends on the speed the user is moving with this technique.

Name: Denkou Style Kenjutsu Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: The Denkou are known for their Kenjutsu prowess as in terms of clans they are unrivalled by any bar none when it comes to an understanding of Kenjutsu. This is primarily due to not only their visionary prowess outstripping the other Time-Slowing Dojutsu in terms of perception but rather also due to an intermarriage between them and Samurai during their founding. The samurai themselves were no-name but they were capable of utilizing a series of Kenjutsu founded by the future matriarch of the Denkou Clan which was based on a high-speed yet flowing Kenjutsu. Each technique had a reference to the moon as she was enraptured by it, and featured a set system of principles. The first was maintaining one's perception of the opponent and thus using an active Raidengan in order to scope out weaknesses and adjust to movements in order to strike true. The second was ensuring a quick, subtle and overall not wasteful system of Kata in order to ensure even when not active that the kenjutsu is difficult to counter. The third was to develop a kenjutsu style specifically to prey upon their rivals the Mishura as well as those who had obtained by some means a Time-Slowing Dojutsu so that a Denkou might be able to avenge clan members who had their dojutsu stolen capitalizing on the weakness of Time-Slowing Dojutsu against their unique kenjutsu.

Description: Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user waves their sword back and forth at bullet release speeds, causing motion blur which capitalizes on a victim being unable to correctly gauge where the sword is during the strike which upon landing deals C-rank slicing damage. Furthermore when viewed by a Time-Slowing dojutsu without reaction it causes them to see an afterimage, rather than the actual sword's location leaving them open to a follow up. The follow up requires the opponent to not only possess reaction tiers equal to the speed of the strike to dodge but if they avoided the first strike in order to dodge the follow up they require 1-rank higher speed. In the event that the Denkou is facing an opponent with chakra vision however they can channel chakra into their bladed weapon of choice which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms which further minimize the chance of dodging correctly though those with C-rank or above Barrier are only subject to a reaction debuff of -1. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down,and this technique is a staple of any Denkou regardless of rank. The genjutsu can however be triggered ahead of time after making hand seals if necessary against an opponent without chakra vision. Description: Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user moves forward and delivers a quick slashing attack with her/his sword, pushing the opponent away from her unless they possess C-rank strength to lock themselves in place over a distance of 20ft. Description: Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user crouches briefly before vaulting forward at, often those who aren't paying attention (A-rank Reaction) or lack a Time Slowing Dojutsu will see the user's simply appear in front of their target due to their quick movement while unsheathing their sword. This allows the user to cross a long distance on route to the opponent in question up to 25ft in a single burst The user in question unleashes a quick succession of slashes each one having a motion blur which when seen by a Time-Slowing Dojutsu looks like multiple afterimages often devastating unperceptive targets. Depending on the skill level of the user the number of slashes dished out varies however they all hit within a split second of one another even if blocked forcing a victim to keep up their guard for longer than normal lest they are anticipated by the user their movement's being predicted by the Raidengan and each of the successive strikes serving to capitalize on the opening given. This technique is primarily used against victims who tend to dodge rather than block as it requires the opponent to not only possess reaction tiers equal to the speed of the strike to dodge but if they avoided the first strike in order to dodge the follow up they require increasingly higher speed. Description: This is an additional stance typically favored by the women of the Denkou Clan as well as those incapable of molding chakra in which they wield two blades rather than one foregoing the use of hand seals in exchange for a more aggressive style of kenjutsu. The Twin Moon stance is very acrobatic favoring twirls and rapid slashes in quick succession and is graceful like an exotic dance which hides it's dangerous nature. Spins can be added to any of the Denkou Style Kenjutsu once this technique is learned in order to deal more grevious wounds to inflict constant bleed damage on opponents. However if the user spins too much they become dizzy resulting in them falling if running at Max Tier levels while moving above that results in them vomitting for a set amount of posts depending on their endurance tiers making them incapable of action and thus missing said posts. Description: Req. Twin Moon Stance. Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user reverses the grip on their twin blades so that the blades point along the length of their arm while they swing defensively parrying the blow off of the blades in the process. This allows them to cushion the damage of of strikes dealt by stronger opponents than themselves depending on the speed they use to parry and thus reducing the damage dealt either completely if they use a higher speed to block a lower strength hit or by half if they use an equal rank speed to block a similarly ranked strength hit. This parry of course only works for physical based techniques, however when used along with Lightning Release: Electro-Blade it can be used to neutralize chakra based techniques weak against Lightning Release while redirecting Lightning Release techniques either right back at the opponent or into the Denkou's Denki comprised weapons

Description: This is a hybrid Taijutsu and Kenjutsu fighting style which was created by Xan I. Isley to perfectly blend his Erasure of Iaido with Shunpo, but has since been integrated into the Isley Family arsenal for use by those members of the family that do not posses the creator's exact skill set. While made for Xander's own Kenjutsu, it can be applied to any type of Kenjutsu as long as the user utilizes Shunpo as a movement base. While utilizing this fighting style user loosens their body before moving towards their opponent seemingly unfocused often stumbling and seeming to trip over nothing. This causes opponents to underestimate them and despite seeming to be uncoordinated in the movement they have a unique sense of balance being able to stumble and trip out of the way of incoming attacks and turn seemingly clumsy mistakes into deadly strikes. While using this fighting style, the user is capable to making use of their Shunpo techniques without making use of the falling forward motion rather any type of fall can be used to initiate it.

This results in repeated damaging of a victims weapon which due to its subtle nature isn't required to be placed in spoiler tags unless the victim possesses a means to identify the structural integrity of a weapon (Such as the Rikigaku Clan's Capability Interface). With repeated clashes, the target's weapon is eventually dealt 6 D-ranks of physical damage which stacks over time eventually resulting in the weapon snapping or breaking in the middle of a clash or if the opponent uses a kenjutsu technique with their weapon after it has been sufficiently weakened past a set level. Description: Req. an Area Concealment Technique or Smoke Bombs currently on the field. The Tuning Blade style of Kenjutsu is distinct due to the humming noise emitted by the blade due to the vibrations travelling through it after striking a solid object. It makes it fairly noisy and while it is capable of drowning out other noises it also makes it easier to detect the user via sound. To counter-act that, this technique was created in order to throw off the source of the sound as long as the opponent can not currently see where the user is. The senses are meant to work in tandem with one another and by cutting off sight does help focus hearing it also makes it more vulnerable to being deceived. Opponents using sound based sensory techniques (Who do not possess Sound Release) are thrown off not being able to accurately gauge the source of the tuning sound. The stronger their method of sensory the more off they are due to being used to relying on it and thus perceive hearing the sound farther away from the actual source, namely the user. Description: An ancient Kenjutsu style which had thought to have been wiped out by the shinobi during the era of warring states, Kendo is typically used in combat with opponents much faster than the user. Using their strength tiers the user swings their weapon causing them to boost the speed of their slashes due to their impressive strength. Fighting in such a way however often leaves a user vulnerable tot hose with the reaction tiers to capitalize on it as a result the Way of Kendo requires constant refining of ones technique to reduce said openings. In addition due to each blow being back by strength each strike is potentially fatal, typically breaking through weapons and armor to slice opponents apart with physical crushing force (defense piercing) equal to the user's strength. The Isley Family learned how to utilize Kendo even with the absence of strength utilizing Shunpo and the pull of gravity to generate enough force to match a normal Kendo strike. Description: Adhering to the principles of Kendo, the user attacks with his sword, reacting to an opponent trying to capitalize on an opening left on purpose by their Kendo. The user stabs downward planting their blade into the ground, balances himself on it and kicking his opponent 3 feet away unless they possess C-rank strength to root themselves in place. The kick is usually aimed at the upper abdomen up until the neck area as often due to the position it is difficult to see coming (Time-Slowing can see it). This is the Kendo version of Heel kick which is notable due to the method by which it is preformed, it is a counter attack and often when stabbing downward it impales an opponents arm or weapon to the ground. The downward stab itself deals C-rank defense peircing physical damage while the follow up kick is to increase the D-rank bleed damage from the stab wound to C-rank bleed damage unless they possess a C-rank Strength to grip the blade so it's brought along with them to prevent it from tearing a chunk out of their flesh. On the other hand if targeting a weapon it snaps along the impact point if it is C-rank or below or if it doesn't possesses Physical Resistance C-rank or higher. Description: The originator of the infamous Geka Seido Fighting Style was none other than the patriarch of the Isley that changed the face of their Kenjutsu forever: Xander I. Isley. However, before he could create that style he had to first search for the origins of Iaido, unearthing the ancient Kenjutsu art of Batto. Unrefined Batto is applicable to any sort of Kenjutsu as it is simply the art of drawing a blade to initiate and attack in one fluid motion and to sheathe said blade in such a way that it seems as if the user hasn't unsheathed it at all while flicking any lingering blood away in the process. The speed of the draw is so quick that depending on the spacing it can outspeed incoming kenjutsu techniques to finish drawing to intercept them before they reach the individual. Likewise due to this speed draw it actually requires a Time-Slowing Dojutsu with Reaction Tiers (such as the Raidengan), Iai Prediction/Precognition + Muscle Tension, or reaction tiers above the user's speed to actually see the blade as it's being drawn. Description: The Raidengan, while possessing the highest perception ability and the inate ability to detect electrical impulses isn't focused on mental combat in the slightest. Rather than try and compete with their rivals or the other Dojutsu who were more mentally inclined the Raidengan Illusion Arts are focus on one thing and one thing only, genjutsu escape. This is done in two ways, the first is done by contracting the tiny muscles within their dojutsu giving them the unique ability to distort their vision, which is used to recognize when they are under the effect of an ocular genjutsu at the cost of a fatigue price dependent on the rank of genjutsu being used on them. When this is used any ocular based genjutsu placed on the Denkou is forced to be placed in spoiler tags even if it hasn't been triggered yet as the distortion of their vision only occurs when their mind is clear otherwise they will briefly visualize the effect of the genjutsu before blinking to return their vision back to normal. The second is a method of genjutsu escape even more unique to the clan due to their inate relationship with lightning, when preforming Kai and successfully breaking out of a genjutsu dependent on their skill level the electricity within their brain constantly disrupts attempts to re-establish a connection preventing for a set period of time them being ensnared in genjutsu. The basic state of the 1st level of Shinken Gai involves the activation of the Raidengan each level results in a higher purity of the Lightning affinity chakra flowing within the user's chakra coils resulting in contact with the user's fingertips causing intense physical pain in a victim albeit dealing no actual damage. This can be chained with additional taijutsu to not only deal damage but likewise erode a victims sanity due to the repeated pain coursing through their body. The intense pain can however be used to snap people out of genjutsu and dependent on the skill level of the user the amount of physical pain dished out with each contact varies. Victims with Barrier+Strength Tier chains 1-rank below the taijutsu this technique is utilized with can push past the pain to halve the sanity loss while those with equal rank can negate the sanity loss completely. Description: While spinning their Denki created weaponry within their palms the use cycles lightning release into them resulting in a rapidly spreading, at swift release speeds, discharge of electricity outward ten feet to temporarily interrupt the actions of her opponents attempting to engage her. Usually this occurs in a crescent extending five feet around each of the user's blades (meaning with only 1 it would only extend in a five feet radius to either the left or the right) however when used while fighting within the Hidden Mist technique it extends through the entire radius of the mist. This jolt does no damage and merely interrupts the chakra gathering of those without the Lightning Release Affinity (Includes Magnet, Raiden in addition to any Dual Combination or Tri-Combination Releases which have Lightning as one of their components while excluding Void, Null, Emotion & Anti-Matter due to either being Void release or not being comprised as chakra based damage) thus preventing them from gathering chakra for techniques done in the post immediately after the one she is using this technique. When the victim is preforming a D-rank technique it is completely disrupted while higher ranks are merely delayed a post later, note this technique can not be used to delay the same technique over and over again. However once said technique is completed when the opponent(s) are trying to gather chakra for the next one it can be used once again as a disrupting agent.

The user charges their body with chakra briefly to enhance their natural condition to D-rank levels spending 1 D-rank of chakra per tier they wish to boost, while they are unable to boost any of their natural abilities past D-rank level it is a useful technique as the user's body is able to be adapted rather quickly. While active however it utilizes chakra per post these boosts are used causing the user to eventually use up their chakra with overuse. The Denkou created this technique mainly as a method to gradually work one's way up to infusing lightning into their body and is typically a technique taught to young Denkou to help with learning how to manipulate their lightning affinity.

Description: The user makes hand seals before clapping their hands and then spreading them apart as a shining mirror of electricity is manifested up to 4 ft away from them as Vacuum Release speeds. This mirror has a height of 20 ft and a width of 40 ft yet and is capable of surviving clashes against A-rank techniques which are not strong against lightning or possess defense piercing. However those which are mental based (A-rank & below) are unable to breech this mirror even if they possess defense piercing so long as they are not strong against Lightning Release. This technique's true strength is it's ability to rebound things which impact it, as while it may be incapable of rebounding the aforementioned techniques it can block them at the cost of being destroyed. Those which are rebounded are done so up to 80 ft away from the mirror at either the same speed as the technique was incoming or at Vacuum Release if the technique was moving slower than that. Description: This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand after making hand seals to guide in both activation and the flow of chakra. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces. Description: This is an advanced chakra flow technique which focuses on Lightning Release's conductivity through materials rather than piercing unlike most other Lightning Release chakra flow techniques. The result is that upon impacting something it causes a repeater effect in which the physical damage sustained is converted into Lightning Release physical damage while conducting through whatever made contact with it as long as said object does not possess an A-rank or above resistance to electricity or isn't made of electricity resistant materials. This technique can likewise be considered to be counter-weaponry as the lightning coursing through said weapons is chaotic causing those which aren't made with A-rank or above electricity conductive materials to be destroyed in the process of conducting said Lightning through them. Description: The user makes hand seals before clapping their hands together as a Thunderbird (Medium L) comprised of lighting coalesces in front of the user. This bird is capable of flying at blinding light speeds and can be used as a mount by the user as the main body is not damaging and actually dense enough to be a semi-solid platform. It can however be launched at an opponent causing it to fly up to 100 ft away from the user before dispersing but if it collides with them it explodes in a crack of thunder deafening those within 5 ft of it to such an extent that they require an S-rank Medical Ninjutsu to restore their hearing. Depending on the victim's level of hearing they are dealt intense pain while if they lacked strength equal or above S-rank to lock themselves in place they are sent flying. Description: This is a ninjutsu relying on base shape manipulation and chakra flow to alter the composition of a Chidori turning it into a deadly counter-offensive technique which does not require the use of hand seals to focus one's chakra unlike the base Chidori. By releasing the Chidori in every direction at vacuum release speeds, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him/her to affect multiple enemies as long as they are within a 20 feet radius of the user. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense due to it's lack of hand seals. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making their muscles contract immobilizing them for 4 posts (total) unless they possess A-rank Chakra Tiers or S-rank Endurance with the victim instead taking B-rank lightning release damage in exchange for negating the paralyzing effect in the case of endurance. Description: This additional stance is a hybrid of Twin Moon Stance Denkou Style Kenjutsu with an Isley Family Kenjutsu by the name of the Stumbling Edge originated by Xan Ibwa. Being his apprentice and heir to his legacy Hiro was able to combine the two to make improvements of both taking aspects and forging them into this lethal kenjutsu fighting style. In this stance the user wields two blades of differing lengths rather than twin blades, foregoing the use of hand seals in exchange for a defensive style of Kenjutsu. The Crescent Moon Edge style was created with the user possessing Shunpo as a result despite seemingly blending dance with clumsiness it is rather odd to watch performed as the user is prone to teetering as if drunk and then suddenly speeding up to capitalize on an opponent. It is initiated by the user putting one foot in front of the other resulting in a twirling fall motion while simultaneously smoothing drawing out the two blades. Like the original spins can be added to any of the Denkou Style Kenjutsu once this technique is learned in order to deal more grievous wounds to inflict constant bleed damage on opponents. However, if the user spins too much they become dizzy resulting in them falling which is the point, as Shunpo is initiated from falls and due to that while dizzy, Shunpo can be utilized as a form of movement with no ill effects, unlike movement via normal speed tiers. However, with the possession of Dual Wielding the kenjutsu strikes dealt with the Wakizashi always require 1-rank higher Speed to dodge due to being smaller and lighter than the Tanto. Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user watches an opponent before anticipating where a strike will land and swings defensively using the flat of their blade in order to parry resulting the incoming blow from the opponent being throwing up leaving the aggressor vulnerable as their weapon is deflected to the side. This allows them to block the damage of strikes dealt by stronger opponents than themselves depending on the speed they use to parry and thus avoiding the damage completely if they use a higher speed to divert a lower strength hit while having enough time to deal their own strike using the smaller blade (Wakizashi) or to sustain half of the damage while while having enough time to deal their own strike using the larger blade (Katana) if they use an equal rank speed to divert a similarly ranked strength hit. This parry of course only works for physical based techniques, however when used along with Lightning Magic: Electro-Blade it can be used to neutralize chakra based techniques weak against Lightning Release while redirecting Lightning Release techniques either away from the user or into the Denkou's Denki comprised weapons. The follow up strike is always done at the same moment as the parry resulting in opponents who possess a Time-Slowing Dojutsu to require 1-rank higher reaction or those without that requiring 1-rank higher speed than what they themselves used to attack the avoid being struck by the follow up. The follow up in question can be any kenjutsu making use of whichever blade is used (Wakizashi or Katana) and as a result can be a lethal strike itself. Description: Req. Crescent Moon Blade & a source of light. Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user pitches forward stumbling only to launch themselves forward to cover 30ft while spinning like a drill. Their Katana is pointed straight forward in order to deal piercing damage while their Wakizashi is held horizontally in order to deal slashing damage thus this technique deal two counts of damage the first being B-rank piercing physical damage, and the second being B-rank slicing damage which is per spin. The piercing damage is capable of impaling a target while the slicing damage affects anyone within 3ft of the moving user and requires A-rank speed to successfully avoid being cut up. Victims who are impaled by the katana are unable to dodge the Wakizashi's slashes on account of being impaled and thus unable to escape unless they possess enough strength to break the katana impaling them. Regardless of their actions upon being impaled they begin to lose a D-rank of blood and if they remove the katana it increases to a C-rank of blood each P.T if not healed. Depending on the number of spins done while impaling a target or simply inflicted while dashing past targets determines any additional bleed dmg (to the impaled target) or the bleed dmg inflicted on those victims the user dashed past. Description: The user enters a different stance semi-falling towards the ground while running forward using the momentum from falling to rapidly accelerate the speed of a slash and using that as a pull to drag their body forward at high speeds. This causes the user strain burning up blood equal to one-rank below the speed that they are attempting to reach capping out at 1 A-rank of blood to move at Blinding Light speeds for that specific post. Despite the overwhelming cost, it is highly effective in dealing with threats that outspeed the user as in a single moment he/she can match their speed..and finish them.

Description: Following the use of Shunpo, and making use of the user's speed he/she is capable of leaving speed afterimages of himself from simply moving faster than a victim is able to track. While ineffective against those who actually can see the user move when victims are unable to track him they will see seemingly solid copies of the user in various stages of attack deluding them into believing that they are seeing him/her while moving. Description: Req. Shunpo & Crescent Moon Edge. This movement style was created due to Hiro not wanting to make use of the Twin Moon Dance in general use, he figured it was too girly and sensual and much preferred the use of Shunpo to it. However Xan had a reason for forcing him to learn it which he discovered when trying to mix the two together. He wanted him to learn how to move fluidly and gracefully in an unpredictable fashion. This style was made to complement the Crescent Moon Edge style of Kenjutsu and is fatiguing to the body as without endurance tiers the user will consume double the fatigue by attempting to use it at all. However it is superior to both of it's components by virtue of allowing the user when it is in use to match Samurai Level Speed yet remain unable to be read by those with Muscle Tension at the cost of a blood price in the case of the latter. Due to this increase in speed it is even difficult for those with Time-Slowing Dojutsu to accurately gauge the user's movement as they require Reaction Tiers equal rank (Or the Raidengan or a Premonition/Precognition Dojutsu) to the user's speed to predict his/her movements. Description: This is a unique movement style created by Diana after repeated lectures by Zhao that she was too slow, it was frustrating but she managed to come up with a solution by tapping into her Cypher side at the cost of potential offensive power. However due to not solely relying on physical prowess like most of her ancestors she could afford such a trade off. Using this movement style the user creates pads of displaced force by which to push off of to increase the overall distance capable of being covered in a single post (total). This pads of force are made possible by completely compressing one's displaced movement and involves a manipulation of their displacement aura in such a way that it leaves the user incapable of utilizing any Displacement Aura techniques for a set amount of time (cool-down). However the results are able to show for themselves as it allows for 360° vector movement regardless of the surfaces around the user. When used for lateral movement however it excels as dependent on the types of Displacement Aura that the user has mastered, this bonus distance is enhanced. Depending on the user's skill all of the techniques in this movement style require a Cool-Down, however only the one which prevents the user from utilizing other Displacement Aura techniques (outside of Displaced Step) can be lessened with increased skill. Description: A hybrid of Iaido and the ancient kenjutsu style of Kendo which involves the utilization of a Ninjato sheathed along the back for an easy draw to allow the blade to be unsheathed to deliver a downward slash. With Kenjutsu mastery it is possible to fluidly chain both of the techniques of it's composite styles with Iaiken. Despite the origin typically being downward because of it's hybrid nature of Kendo and Iaido this style is typically used as a finisher being grounded in the art of one swing one kill the user rarely needing to deal rapid strikes to bring an opponent down. Unlike Iaido and Kendo, Iaiken is only a two handed style however due to evenly distributing the weight of the blade and power of the strike between two hands the recoil damage is lessened to equal to 1-rank lower than the techniques rank being used. Thanks to Iaido, the window of opportunity that Kendo brings has been eliminated making it as risky as any other kenjutsu fighting style. Typically this is utilized with a Strength+Speed Tier chain in order to produce higher speeds than even the utilization of Iaido in regards to drawing and sheathing however Shunpo can be utilized in place of strength with Tier+ speed fulfilling the requirement perfectly. Description: Req. Iai Prediction. Based on the principles of Iaido & Kendo, mixing hand-seal interruption with the crushing power of two-handed strikes one who is sufficiently perceptive is able to smoothly predict the preparation of hand seals in order to better intercept hand seal use in battle. Iaiken relies on a close proximity to one's opponent in order to intercept hand seal use at such speed that even those skilled enough to utilize One-Hand Seals can be potentially halted lest they wish to sustain damage from the user's Iaiken techniques. Those techniques which are equivalent in rank to the user & below, will be interrupted preventing them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Kawashimasu as a result is the unique parry of Iaiken, which unlike other kenjutsu styles is used not against other weapons but rather to "parry" jutsu. As a result this technique is very specific in the spacing required to successfully intercept hand-seals and it utilizes the speed of the user's Iaiken techniques to determine how fast they can intercept the use of hand seals. Like the original technique, the use of Displacement Aura can be used to extend this interception distance. Description: Req. Hoho & Shinken Gai Kata. This movement style was created thanks to Diana's chakra being attuned to the Lightning Affinity at a much greater level than the norm, thus supercharging not only the way she performed lightning techniques but imbuing her very body with it. This allowed her to finally perfectly integrate Lack of Intent into her movement style while retaining the fluid graceful unpredictable nature of Hoho. The result is Hirenkyaku where Diana doesn't so much as run as she does glide across surfaces yet to maintain this degree of speed with the subtlety is extremely fatiguing on the body as without Endurance Tiers the user will consume triple the stamina by attempting to use it at all (it's reduced to double even with Endurance Tiers). However it is superior to it's predecessors by virtue of allowing the user when it is in use to equate Samurai Level Speed yet remain unable to be read by those with Muscle Tension/Time-Slowing Dojutsu + Reaction Tiers, however, due to the latent electricity coursing through the body the user is still capable of being tracked by electrolocation. However, when used with an additional Chakra Price it can actually outspeed Samurai Lvl Speed being on par with Tier Chains. Due to this increase in speed, it is even difficult for those with Precognitive Dojutsu to accurately gauge the user's movement as they require Reaction Tiers equal rank to the user's speed (While those with the Raidengan require Muscle Tension) to predict his movements. The movement itself is rather stylish as the gliding to those who can see it simply appears as if she's sliding on a frictionless surface the sheer coolness being capable of seducing those of the opposite gender, homo or bisexual orientation while intimidating those of the same gender who are heterosexual or of the asexual orientation. Those who are aware of Diana's Hermaphroditic nature are either seduced (certain bisexuals/pansexual) or intimidated (other) accordingly. Finally, thanks to the stability of the movement seeing as the center of balance are maintained almost perfectly this technique can be used in place of Samurai Lvl Strength Tiers to negate knockback. Name: Dipugakure Style: Silent Killing Classification: Fighting Style Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Self
Description: This technique is typically taught to Dipugakure ANBU and has been passed down from generation to generation having been refined by the Naito clan upon first joining Dipugakure however with their reformation into the Rikigaku Clan the only trace of their pure legacy remains within the Dipugakure Hunter Corps. As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user moves silently, it cannot be defended against, because the attack cannot be anticipated resulting in Time-Slowing Dojutsu as well as Muscle Tension being incapable of being used as vision aids for reaction time. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away while moving so silently that those without either A-rank or above Sound Sensory, a B-rank Sound Release auditory sensory technique or B-rank Reaction Tiers + Heightened Hearing are unable to hear them moving. Name: Lightning Sealing Method Classification: Fuinjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Short- Mid range
Description: A kind of fūinjutsu that involves sealing a technique's effects within a specific location. As it is tailored for lightning release, it requires a caster well-versed in the exacting art of "Sealing Formulas", as well as in ninjutsu. The jutsu-sealing space in the scroll is left blank, for the formula to be inscribed in with a brush. After performing the needed hand seals, a breeze appears from the scroll, and sucks in the lightning. They are sucked in towards the scroll, and the appearance of the Kanji for seal (封) certifies the technique's completion. Once the sealing is performed, the technique's effects cannot be released anew as long as an unsealing technique is not applied. It is an effective technique to circumvent any secondary damage a dangerous enemy technique might cause. This technique is able to seal all types of Lightning Release techniques up to 2-ranks above the user capping at SSS-rank.
Name: Denkou Style - Summoning Seal: Lightning Flash Blade Creation Classification: Fuinjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Contact (Placement), Short (Unsummoning)
Description: Req. Lightning Element Seal. This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal ninja tools like swords or kunai into a scroll or their clothes beforehand, allowing them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks" (an additional circle with the Kanji for Blade" which overlaps the original seal) which can be drawn anywhere, however are typically layered over a B-rank or Below Storage Seal preventing additional Modification Slots from being added but providing an additional defense against unsealing techniques. The Mark differs from the original due to the Lightning Element Seal being capable of being added as a Modification Slot to the Base Seal this seal is layered on top of. The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced with the tools being drawn out at speeds equal to the user's skill level (Base Tier). Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in its fully extended form beforehand. The ninja tools are thrown with the actual speed of a "flash of lightning", ruining the opponent's outset of the battle, and snatching away the initiative while, unique to sealing formula variant of the Denkou Clan, blinding those with chakra vision who are unfortunate enough to gaze as the items are unsummoned. Those with Time-Slowing Dojutsu bar the Raidengan due to it's own unique relationship with Lightning Release, the more skilled the Denkou, the longer the blind effect. Furthermore, because the summoned ninja tools can remain hidden until right before they are used, if this technique is mastered, there are an exceptional number of possible tactics. A large number of ninja tools can be stored within the sealing marks, which can make the efficiency of this technique last longer. The Denkou were the originators of this technique and thus have mastered it to a higher level than others customizing it to their liking and keeping said knowledge within the clan itself. Description: The ancient Kenjutsu art of Batto in it's refined state differs from it's successor style Iaido due to what is done after the blade is unsheathed. Due to the samurai who created this style being wiped out by the shinobi during the Era of Warring States out of fear only the legendary tales of swordsmen capable of drawing and slicing an opponent in one moment were what was left and thus what was used to create Iaido. Battojutsu is more than that, or more specifically unlike Iaijutsu which allows one to master the art of unsheathing and sheathing one's blade Battojutsu allows one to incorporate multiple cuts after unsheathing. This is stressful on the body to preform quickly fatiguing those who are not skilled enough to refine their muscle memory and have not learned how to control their breathing precise enough to get the most out of each breath. A master of Battojutsu was said to draw their blade once and by the time they sheathed their blade they had already felled a hundred shinobi. Due to the sheer amount of strikes capable with one blow Battojutsu those without Time-Slowing Dojutsu are unable to see the strikes of the Batto practitioners blade. Those with Muscle Tension or Iai Prediction/Precognition etc can determine where the Batto user is aiming however and thus can gauge how to block albeit not being able to actually see the slashes. Description: The user moves in front of his opponent and unsheathes his Iaito, while to those without C-rank Reaction Tiers he seems to suddenly just appear before them. The user then slashes many times at C-rank speeds while moving around them, and to those without either panoramic vision (360°) a C-rank Sensory Technique or C-rank+ Reaction Tiers after appearing in front of them the first time he seems to vanish and then instantly reappear behind them. Due to utilizing Battojutsu, those without a Time-Slowing Dojutsu are unable to see the user's slashes & end up collapsing as he sheathes his sword back into the hilt. This is due to their body going into shock due to the pain leaving them vulnerable to a follow up for a short amount of time (1 P.T) unless they possess Pain Tolerance, Pain Immunity or a C-rank Pain Resistance technique). The slashes are not any set number but are determined by how much the Battojutsu user exerts themselves however every 5 slashes dealt results in the victim sustaining 1-rank Higher in Pain Damage starting at D and capping out at S (25 slashes). While it seems like a single slash it is in actuality more than one done at the same time making it useful for dealing quick but shallow cuts on opponents or slicing apart incoming projectiles within their sword's reach (2 ft). The number of strikes determines the amount of projectiles capable of being sliced through at once whereas with every 5 strikes an additional 1 D-rank of Bleed damage is dealt to an unfortunate victim. With subsequent retraining the radius this technique covers upon the user drawing their blade once not only increases in size but likewise in angle increases. While the victim is still reacting to the pain from the blow the user finishes drawing their Iaito and in that same motion aims a strike to the neck culminating in decapitation unless the victim possesses C-rank Defense Tiers. Simple, yet lethal as those not perceptive enough to notice the user drawing their blade (Time-Slowing Dojutsu) or a natural perception in regards to kenjutsu (Muscle Tension/Iai Prediction/Precognition) will only notice the beheading strike as their head sails 2 feet in the air. Typically used as a quick finisher for a prone victim (on the ground) in which after slashing their target numerous times the user kicks them causing them to roll 3ft, unless they manage to anchor themselves to the ground with B-rank strength, before nailing them to the ground with a downward stab held in a reverse grip. It is a fairly quick attack even when not used as a follow up as unless a victim possesses the ability to see the user draw their sword (Time-Slowing Dojutsu) or a natural perception in regards to kenjutsu (Muscle Tension/Iai Prediction/Precognition) + B-rank Reaction Tiers they will not even notice the user's strike until it is too late. This technique is more dangerous against smaller targets as their is a higher chance to nick an artery though regardless of the size of the target the stab inflicts B-rank Defense Piercing Physical Damage. Victims will sustain at least 3 D-ranks worth of bleed damage if the stab wound is not treated by a Medical Ninjutsu technique or the blood loss is not stemmed in some way. Description: Req. Hidden Mist technique to be active on field. A basic silent killing technique common among Dipugakure ANBU which entails the throwing of the user's voice in order to confuse those without sound sensory above C-rank due to their voice coming from different locations. They have learned how to use the water particles comprising their saturated mist to aid them with this technique as if it is unsaturated then this technique is unable to be utilized properly. Depending on how saturated the individual's Hidden Mist technique is the user's voice can be "thrown" across different distances relative to their position. That coupled with the proper use of the silent killing method renders sound sensory even more of a moot point when trying to locate a proper user of the silent killing method. Those ANBU who are capable of utilizing the Silent Killing style native to Dipugakure are so skilled in fighting on, or within water that their ability to not make sounds extends to that type of terrain. To that end while running, diving, jumping or fighting in aquatic terrain they keep the effect of Dipu Style Silent Killing, while with additional skill they can render themselves undetectable to B-rank or below Water Displacement Sensory. This concealment is limited as those sensors who are farther than 3 ft away from them are able to detect them, but those within that range are unable to do so. This distance can be expanded if the Hidden Mist (15 ft), Hidden Drizzle (30 ft), Hidden Rain (60 ft) or Grudge Rain (120 ft) are active on the field.

Description: This technique is a refinement of the ability to conceal the sound of making hand seals under the philosophy of the Dipugakure style of Silent Killing. To that end an ANBU member learns how to render their use of hand seals silent to those without B-rank or above Sound Release based sensory while those reliant on normal sound sensory require their hearing at set levels to hear the user's hand seals. Due to the fact that the user is adept at concealing the sound of their hand seals they become more perceptive of those who make them with this technique counting as a B-rank sensory technique when it comes to picking up the sound of hand seals. This Hearing based sensory capability is improved when under the effect of the Hidden Mist (Raised), Hidden Drizzle (Heightened), Hidden Rain (Enhanced) or Grudge Rain (Max). Description: This technique takes the concept of creating a flexible yet malleable sword and applies Kinjutsu principles to it resulting in the formation of a blade comprised of the user's life-force. Those within the Dipugakure ANBU Corps use this technique in order to create their own Blade, which is a combination of gathered materia, their blood and their physical energy (stamina) these are placed on top of a specially prepared pedestal which is prepare typically by the sacrifice of an individual in honor of Susano'o. This ceremony was brought to Dipugakure by a roaming bandit clan which were persuaded to join Dipugakure by the 1st Abisukage, and results in a liquid blade which is bound to the user's soul. The basic shape is specified by the user and while it lacks any special abilities beyond the materials used in it's formation, it is capable of shifting forms to be more versatile in combat. Despite it's formation this weapon deals physical damage if utilized with kenjutsu and only deals spiritual based damage if used with kinjutsu, however it is resilient against S-rank & below spiritual based techniques regardless of the technique it is used with. It may or may not contain other resistances which are based on the materials used in it's composition however depending on the rank of the user the amount of materials (up to S-rank of each) that can be used to form a Blood-Rending Blade vary. Once formed this technique is incapable of being used to form a new blade and the user is capable of storing this blade like any normal blade so long as it remains in their "Bank". To that end this means the user is capable of storing it like normal weapons, but others will require at least an Iron Armor Seal in order to seal it away due to it possessing part of the user's Soul. If this weapon is destroyed, so long as it isn't by a S-rank or above Soul destroying, Corruption or Erasure technique it will eventually reform after a set amount of topics based on the user's age. Description: Those trained in the Dipugakure ANBU are taught to aim for eight specific points which can result in instant death towards weak opponents such as Clones, Bandits. Swabbies, Constructs (which possess one or more of the Eight Points) and other fodder-tier opponents. These points are; the larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, and heart. However the true purpose of this technique is to give a user of this style the ability to deal with opponents who are larger than the user allowing them depending on their skill to bypass the Size Damage reduction. This allows the user when targeting one of those eight points to inflict the same amount of damage they would towards a Humanoid target resulting in lethal consequences. While a simple technique, users of this technique become adept at keeping track of those weak points with those with higher reaction tiers being able to identify where more are located on a target's body even if they do not possess a humanoid body shape. For that reason out of the Republic of Five, the Dipugakure ANBU are the best geared towards Assassination in comparison to their peers. Description: Fast draw does leave one lacking in regards to the strength necessary to avoid being disarmed, fortunately for Iaido users this technique was developed to counteract such tactics. As the user grips their hilt they do so while tightening it at the moment of impact to prevent their Uchigatana from being knocked from their hands. If they lack a parrying technique then in order to do so causes them hand & wrist pain equal to the rank of the disarming technique used on them. Description: A modification of the Iai line of techniques which involves Xan specifically drawing his blade early rather than do it smoothly resulting in a loss of power in exchange for a boost in speed. Depending on his skill level the amount of techniques he is capable of doing this for varies however the thing that remains constant is that the technique loses 1-rank in damage dealt but gains 1-rank in the speed it is preformed at. This was done in response to opponents who had little to no resilience but were easily capable of dodging normal kenjutsu strikes. That was of course, unacceptable to Xan, and thus he refined the most basic principle of Iaido, the art of drawing a blade quickly, in order to counteract it. Subsequent Retraining only increases the speed at which the user may draw their blade at the same original cost of reducing the damage dealt by the strike.
