Description: This is a Base Contract of the Conjuration Type, which establishes a Nuinjutsu that revolves around the conjuration of "sentient" allies for the user to fight alongside in battle. These allies, known as the user's Poppets, possess their own personality separate from the user, as well as a will. This allows them to be persuaded to go against the user's command, but it is often very difficult to get them to do so. Each poppet also has their own special ability, allowing them to be used uniquely in battle. There are three poppets in total, and they are all predetermined from the moment the user obtains this Base Contract:
Mars - Mars takes the form of the a black bicorne with golden designs, a skull with red jewels for eyes acting as the "face" of the poppet. Mars is represents Velvet's Fear, as well as their will to live and thirst for success as well as survival. This has manifested in Mars' ability to shift himself into different bladed weapon forms, with the blade of the weapon being produced from the top of the bicorne while the hilt is produced from the bottom. Each weapon form consumes a D-Rank Technique slot and requires a 250 Word In-Battle Training (150 Solo) to unlock. The shifting of the weapon requires a Nen Price from Velvet, with each individual shift (excluding those back into hat form) requiring a price based on their Bounty (D = A , X = 2 D). Name: Champagne Description: Mars extends a large blade from his hat, a simple hilt appearing from the bottom of the bicorne. This is a simple weapon form with nothing ornate or fancy about it, though it allows the weapon to be used with Velvet's Moloch Klinge techniques. Name: Cognac Description: Mars extends a large, single edged, curved blade with a serrated tip from the top of his hat, his face moving from the hat itself to the blade. An eye can be seen on either flat side of the blade, while a mouth with serrated teeth opens up along the edge of the blade. This blade looks like a classical seax, allowing it to be wielded powerfully with a single hand. Jupiter - Jupiter takes the form of a Medium (M) cloud with a kind face. Jupiter represents Velvet's Joy, all of the times they laugh and all of the times that they are merry or will ever be merry in their life. This manifested Jupiter's ability to harness the weather, adapting his storm type to match the weather of the area he is currently in. Due to being an expression of Velvet's own person, xe is capable of using him to generate Storm Release based Nen Tech, the techniques varying based on his storm type. Sol - Sol takes the form of a Medium (S) ball of flame, surrounded by several smaller ball of flames. She too possesses a face, though she always looks bored and bothered by any and everything around her. Despite this, she represents Velvet's Anger, the fire that blooms in the Bounty Hunter's belly and the smoldering ash that coats xer being whenever something upsets xer greatly. As such, Sol has manifested the ability to absorb Heat and Flames to empower herself, the rank and type she can absorb being based directly on Velvet's own rank. When they are absorbed, they are converted into the Fire Materia that comprises Sol's body, being available for use elsewhere. Due to being an expression of Velvet's own person, xe is capable of using her to generate flame based Nen Tech. The Poppets, while predetermined, are not automatically available for use. The user must utilize a small fragment of their soul, a piece that holds a connection to their emotions, resulting in an A-Rank Soul Price for their creation. This also results in the Emotion Limit tied to their poppet being halved, due to the emotion being utilized in the creation of the poppet. Due to the poppets being formed of a fragment of the user's soul, they are physically incapable of moving a certain distance from the user's own person, the maximum distance being determined by the level of this Base Contract. Due to this connection, they are all capable of relaying knowledge and information to each other in real time, making it difficult to get the drop on one when the others are present. Due to being conjured from fragments of the user's own soul, the poppets are capable of reforming when they are damaged by anything that isn't Soul Damaging. When they are simply damaged, it takes a number of posts (total) for them to be restored, however when they are completely destroyed it takes a number of topics for them to reform. When the target of techniques that damage the soul, they can only be restored by Medical Kinjutsu or regular Kinjutsu techniques centered around restoring damaged soul fragments. The amount of time it takes to regenerate from damage or complete destruction is based on the amount of damage done to them, rather than the level of this Base Contract. It is unique like any other Nuinjutsu and it's unique ability to conjure fragments of the user's soul as allies in battle is what sets it apart as a Conjuration Nuinjutsu. Just like all contracts this technique is capable of being retrained by it's Levels, for every 2 Levels this technique grows 1-rank stronger and in the adbsence of any Will, Emotion or Limitation Contracts capable of boosting capability past 100% it will cap at S. If one of those are used then for every 5 Levels it goes up 1-rank to cap at SSS-rank at Level 20. Description: Velvet, like everyone, was born with the potential to unlock the legendary power of Siddhi. Xe was one of the lucky few to unlock not only Mantra and Tantra, but also one of the Conqueror's variety. Through the course of xer years training and utilizing Siddhi, xe developed a unique fighting style based around modifying xer Siddhi so that xe can adapt to many different combat situations. This fighting style itself has little other use than to allow Velvet to change xer Siddhi in different ways. While this fighting style is signatured, it doesn't restrict the modification of Siddhi as a whole, but rather the specific modifications made within the style. The stamina prices for these techniques are based not only on the rank of technique, but also the type of Siddhi the technique belongs to. The maximum rank of technique xe can make within each type of Siddhi is of course based on what rank xe obtained them. Description: This is a technique that features Velvet's Conqueror's Mantra, modifying it to be much more potent than it is normally. Xe focuses xer disposition into a xer eyes for a simple look in the direction of xer target as long as they are within 10ft of xer, this look focusing the power of xer Siddhi into a concentrated force rather than a general burst. This is used specifically for rendering foes unconscious, thus when xe is using it in this manner xe is incapable of utilizing the destructive properties of Conqueror's Mantra. Due to how concentrated this is, it can only affect a single target but they are rendered unconscious more quickly and for longer than usual. This acts as a modifier to the values determined by skill and rank disparity, applied after those are calculated via the standard C. Mantra technique. Description: This is a technique that features Velvet's Conqueror's Mantra, modifying it to be able to reduce the capabilities of those within a set distance of the user. This works by blanketing a 30ft area around xer body in xer Conqueror's Mantra, though at a level of strength that is much less intense than normal. However, everyone within the range will feel as though their body's capabilities have been reduced or suppressed due to the weight of xer power. They will find they move more sluggishly and react more slowly, while being able to take less damage and deal less damage with raw strength alone. This translates into a drop in their tiers, causing them to be less effective than usual. This drop is a total number of tier levels, spread out across all of the victim's tiers however the user of this technique sees fit, allowing them to modify this debuff to fit different opponents. The tier level drop and maximum number of opponents effected at once are dependent on the user's skill level.
