Training Spec (Weekly)

September stood before the enormous looming gates that stood tall before her in front of the shogunate academy one last time. All the possibilities that could have taken her life to oh so many places ran through her mind as she took in the sight, memorising every last brick that was within her line of sight. She had very nearly dedicated what was to be her life to the way of life within the shogunate. But no, instead she was to go elsewhere. She sat herself down on the cold cobble stones that created the path up to the academy. There should have been so much activity, there should have been boys and girls her own age, with abilities that could one day take them so far. Taught by tutors who once had so much potential, now in Ember’s mind having been relegated to teaching what they could not achieve. There could have been students, one day who might gain more and more power, bending light and darkness, slinging inextinguishable fire, crackling lightning, people who might one day rival the Gods themselves. Rumours of the Pandorans and their monsterous Curses ran through the young girl’s mind. Rumour that passed across the lips of so many about those who could do more than rival the Gods, but to tame them, to have them bend to their will. A land of murderers, thieves, hedonists, every form of evil that was possible.

Done with memorising as much as she could, the young samurai pushed herself up. Until that moment her arms had been light, but as she stood up she felt her arms tighten. She looked as metal ribbons snaked and bound around her wrists, a perfect mirror image on either arm as she watched the metal bind her arms tight enough she felt her hands grow cold, the lightly tanned skin turning blue. Then suddenly there was weight, her hands dropped as the metal grew around her arms, growing clasps that swung open. Fixing them shut the cold metal bit at her flesh if only barely. She would outgrow the current clasps, but they were oddly flexible, easy to attach new clasps as she grew, but never weakened, never rusted. Her bracelets would most likely outlast her. Especially if she wasn’t careful.

It was after the bracelets were on her wrist she became just that little more lucid, more aware that she were dreaming all of this. But that knowledge brought her nothing but the control over the dream. Instead of taking a single step, she could simply wave her hand and the world spun around her until she were standing right at the front door to the shogunate academy. Reaching out she placed her hand flat against the door. A grin crossed her face, focusing her chakra, focusing her strength. She curled her fingers, almost inhumanly whilst still pressed in to what felt like wood until her finger tips, into a fist. With a hair of movement she struck to door, splintering the wood, and engraving her fist print. An overwhelming anger took over her, she reeled back, and struck again. All that strength and yet she now had so much wind up. The door didn’t less splinter, but it shattered like glass. Crumbled with grains of sand, scattered to the wind like pollen, so fine that even breathing any in would do little for her physical help. It being a dream probably helped that too.

The shattering didn’t stop at the door. The cracks from the now empty void in time and space that she had punched right through continued. Cracking all around, sealing September inside of a sphere as it crumbled. As the sky fractured, as the floor was destroyed beneath her feet. And September fell.

She tumbled through darkness without a care. There was no longer any up or down, no wind that told her which way she was going, her hair as solid as the metal of her bracelets until the moment she thought about it. When suddenly her hair flew upwards. She felt no wind resistance on her body, but she now at least knew she was falling directly down. Turning her eyes down she saw nothing, no floor coming up to meet her. But she felt her feet on solid ground. A peculiar sensation.

September didn’t know where the thought came from, she was looking around in to the darkness, but she had the repetitive thought of opening her eyes. But they were open. Until she thought it. Then she opened them again. She couldn’t explain it, the idea of opening her eyes when they were already open. But in doing so she found herself standing on the metal disc atop an enormous fan. She was incredibly aware this was a dream but it was such an unusual situation, one she could not fully control like she had done so with her lucid dreams in the past.

Her dream however shattered very suddenly as she was being shaken awake by her mother. The girl grumbled as she wanted to roll back over to sleep longer. September cared so little in that moment, she didn’t care that she was to go and meet with some people of the Bachiatari to fully cement her future position within the organisation. But she wanted to continue sleeping. Her bracelets, Adamantine, rattled as she shoved her mother over, grabbing her bed sheet and completely wrapping herself up within them. Her mother knew, it wasn’t hard to ever really hard with how September would be a rather active sleeper, but her bracelets were often the only item of her clothing that she kept on to sleep in. It was all in her head she knew, but with how they enhanced her senses to let her react faster, often feeling like they guided themselves, she felt that it would mean she would be more alert to danger even when she slept. With some struggle, she failed in getting right back to sleep. All the while her mother never left her room, only adding to September’s inability to sleep, knowing she couldn’t whilst someone else was in the room.

Tsuyo Strength Weekly, w/ Week Training Spec

September looked over the papers sprawled across her desk. Now she was moved in to her new room, away from her parents for the first time in her life, and wanting to make the absolute most of it. She was studying her clans biggest secrets, copied down from scrolls taken from the Taki compound so that she might get stronger. Quite literally even as she was slowly working on the Strength of A Hundred Seal. She stood atop a box to reach the top corner of her room wall, and there, she stabbed a needle through the scrolls’ corners to affix the scroll simply written with ‘100’. Beneath that she affixed another, two even side by side, with ‘Focus Seal’. Piece by piece she stretched scrolls down her wall. At the very bottom, was the final long scroll with Tsuyo written on it. She stepped back looking at the tree of scrolls from bottom to top. This was the path she would walk. The path that would make her not just a medic, but a warrior. That was what she was meant to be after all. But the day was still young. Strolling to her desk, she picked up the slim metal bracers so delicately placed there the night before. She slipped her arms in, and tightened the straps and buckles. Now they were as much a part of her arms as her very skin. And that was just how it was supposed to be. September and Adamant were one and the same. And that’s how it should really be.

September stepped out of her room and on to the balcony that she specifically requested. She didn’t care about anything else, she could have lived in a closet, so long as she had a balcony. She was out there just as the sun was rising across the horizon. Taking a deep breath of the morning air she prepared for what she intended to do each morning. The Strength of A Hundred Seal would grant her unbelievable physical prowess, but first she had to get herself up there with her chakra control. She was considered a ‘samurai’, a distinction she received only due to her choice of wielding Adamant compared to the typical focuses of traditional ninja. But this was fine for her, it meant that there was a distinct school of weapon based techniques that she could use to her own benefits. Closing her eyes she gripped the railing on the balcony tightly, actually feeling the dent caused by her fingers. It wasn’t the first day after all she had done this and she now had comfortable area to hold the railing. Slowly her fingers uncurled and she stepped back inside and over to the bowl of fruit she had bought the day before. She hated apples, and they were perfect for these early stages, being relatively hard, and very cheap to get in large quantities. Tossing one in just one hand she stepped back on to her balcony. With one last toss up in front of her, she drew her arm back, before sweeping forwards with a hard punch. She watched as the apples splintered after the hit, but most of the parts were sent flying out in to the distance, tracking just how far she punched it.

Learning:

“I will do this. I’ll get stronger,” September muttered to herself, chanting it even as she hopped between her feet as she was taught. To find out that the Bachiatari had developed their own relatively secret taijutsu style, and apparently being ambidextrous came at a huge advantage. She was being taught slowly both the Titanic Fist style, designed around the easier for September style of hard strength, and the Lupine fist, a more fluid style that she was learning at a slightly slower pace. But what was working out best, was her bigger plans. With the clan’s Brawling style she could hit back at techniques, her Adamant bracers let her react quicker, and with the new ‘Boxing’ styles she could do more. What was the big thing behind ‘Boxing’ she had no idea, apparently some big guy named King was an amazing taijutsu user of the old Bachiatari, and left the techniques for members. And September fully intended to make use of it.

She had set up multiple stiff targets in her bedroom, one of them having been torn open just a few minutes prior by a direct blow through practising the Lupine Fist through the strength of her Tsuyo Branch Brawling. Just the strength that the combinations that she could strive for filled her with so much excitement. She had all but put her goal for the Seal of One Hundred on hold as she further mastered the new taijutsu style. She was in a wholey unique position, being a Taki member in the Bachiatari, and she intended to make the most use out of it. Cracking her knuckles she crouched low, hands at the ready as she channelled her chakra through her muscles as she was taught so long ago. “Ha!” She cried out, striking at the centre of the solid target, only to have it dent in, bending around her fist from the sheer force combined with the Titanic Fist. Due time.

Tsuyo Strength Weekly:

“September Taki. Please step forwards, draw your weapon and be ready for battle,”

September looked in to the darkness, feeling the environment snapping back in to place around her piece by piece. At first came the ground, pistoning up into her feet, making her shudder as it solidified in to place. The Earth was now there, but nothing else at first. Slow at first, the ground began to slide under her feet without any sort of resistance at all. And yet she still felt the wind rushing past her, finally having some form of sound in the void. As the wind grew, the hard rush of wind zooming past her ears made her have to clamp her hands over her ears.

“September Taki. Please step forwards, draw your weapon and be ready to fight,”

The floor sped up until in a blank of an eye a building came out of the horizon. September was completely blown off of her feet by the building colliding right in to her. Being hit she was sent skidding away several feet back. Somehow she felt the horrendously fast speed to which she was hit by the building, and yet she felt no harm coming to her. She was stopped from going back too far by further walls snaking around the perimeter. She bounced right back off the wall again and fell in to her knees gasping for her breath. She looked up in the training courtyard of the old Taki compound.

“September Taki. Step forwards, draw your weapon, and fight,”

September growled, punching a crater of ten feet beneath her. Or so she saw. In doing so, she remained crouched on a flat dusty surface, and yet she was able to watch the ground forced down until the pressure all around her. A serious feeling of déjà vu overtook her. As did the realisation that once more this was a dream. If the adapting scenery wasn’t already giving that very obvious fact away. And she knew exactly what was coming next.

“September!”

She looked up to look at a bulky teenage boy, standing over cracking his knuckles. He likewise didn’t seem at all flustered by the crater beneath the invisible floor. His muscles twitched as, like she had done so often lately in her training, chakra was sent through his pathways and manipulating his muscles to increase their mass.

“Die!”

He screamed, fist raised high, and swung down at her. But September was faster. The cold bite of her wrists pulled up, her right hand catching his fist as she met his D level strength with her own. The last time she had done this she had felt a little more push, but as she caught his hand and gripped tight, she didn’t move even the slightest, not a single muscle twitch. September grabbed his fist, feeling his hand becoming like liquid in her fingers.

“Ugh! G-Get… Get off of me!”

“Don’t. Hit. Little girls,” The only words September could even remotely say. She didn’t know where the words were coming from, but it was all she had. She leant back, and swung a punch herself. And the dream was over.

Learning:

For all of the dreams lately September some how managed to finally get her first clear night. It was even a little strange to fall asleep and not wake up at any time due to her fight or flight response. It had gotten easier lately at least to sleep longer. Although the exhaustion from learning to wield the Adamant Bracers on top of her studies to increase her chakra flow, that all certainly helped. Stepping out on to her balcony as the sun began to peer just over the horizon. She was slowly approaching the time in which she would meet the head of the organisation. She had so far been working alone to study, get herself some strength, both literal and figurative, before she would stand out amongst her peers. She was aware of a few newcomers, a faunus boy, a crystal girl and a former criminal amongst them. The latter she had heard conflicting stories about, although only the faunus she was aware of was at the same level as she was. Not that it really bothered her any. She would likely meet everybody in the medical wing of the organisation. That thought did run through her mind as she looked to her hand, feeling the chakra swirl beneath her flesh augmenting her strength, knowing she had the control to learn the chakra scalpel style. There would be plenty of time for that however. The more she focused on her strength the better her control could be. Hand on the railing, she hopped herself up, throwing her legs over the edge and sitting on the railing watching the sun rising.

September lost herself for some time, thinking over just what she needed to take care of that day. Her arms were still just a little sore. And that meant that she had to take a break from her chakra infused strength. Unless she would damage her chakra pathways that was. Eyes closed she took a deep breath of the early morning air, the scent of the dew hitting her nostrils and giving her such a calm air. For almost an hour she would stay on the railing, preventing herself from slipping by simply sticking herself to the edge through the chakra manipulation if she ever started. With the waft of a nearby bakery hitting her room, signalling the usual time that she would actually wake up, she licked her lips and just pushed herself off the edge of her balcony.

That was a dumb move.

She limped back through her balcony door after having climbed back up. September felt just embarrassed and annoyed at herself. First she hadn’t landed properly and twisted her ankle. She had fixed it up fairly easily, but it was still sore to walk in. And secondly, she had forgotten her actual door keys. Such a good start to the day, and she had already fucked it up a great deal. She was just glad she wouldn’t have to look in to her mother’s eyes and telling her why she was limping. Or carrying the bag full of breads, most of which containing chocolate chips, and some even having chocolate fillings. Slumping down on to her bed, she felt for a moment like a civilian girl. Just lying there on her bed, fingers ripping at the still warm bread as the smell of the partially melted chocolate inside flooded her room. Enough to make her sigh with delight alone without every tasting any of it. Wiping a finger through the oozing chocolate she collected a hefty bunch on her finger, bringing it right to being sucked from her finger. With another sigh she turned and bit the bread directly, tasting the mix of warm bread with the chocolate mix. Heavenly.

The day passed much the same. Without every changing out of her pyjamas, September had opted to her a ‘me day’, something she had been told to take every now and then by her mother. At first she thought it was silly, but as she sat eating delicious bread rolls, making herself some soup, reading some fiction she had gotten from an old friend back when she lived in Shogunate regions. It was an interesting read. Although she would in a few years perhaps realise she was a little too young. But in that moment she was just a pre-teen girl, having a day off.

Adamant Weekly Training D- 100 50 , Weekly Training Spec

September lay back just looking at the ceiling of her room. She was still repairing a little from her tumble the other day when she had jumped out of the window. In retrospect that was definitely not a good move. Especially as she had pulled a muscle, and it seemed to have begun impeding the chakra flow. Nothing really to do but wait to heal, playing with Adamant.

Adamant Weekly Training - C 250 125 , Weekly Training Spec

Day two of the recovery went almost identically like the first. Chakra flow was still being awful to her development, although she was able to get up and about without too much issue. This likewise really helped in the training of her taijutsu fighting style. Without her chakra backup she didn’t have much of her strength, and with her target dummy and sand bag set up in her room she could get to work. She had been taught the basics of some fighting techniques, but what seemed to shock her tutors here in the Bachiatari, was her being ambidextrous. She was taught how to use her strength and reflexes best for the Titanic Fist and Lupine Fist. Perhaps strange names, but as she got better, she began to incorporate her Taki Clan tutoring. Together, she could make them exceptional.

Learning:

“One.” September swung with her right hand, fingers curled in to a fist yet loosened ever so slightly to limit the damage to which she was using to hit the heavy punching bag. Before the bag even began to swing back an inch, she was already moving for the next, “Two,” Her left fist caught the bag then, fuelled with just as much strength as the first. With such quick succession the bag was a solid weight, sending swinging backwards as the metal joints that held it to the ceiling creaked with the harsh pressure to which September could apply, “Weave,” She breathed out as the punching back came back at her like a pendulum, making up for so much pressure placed upon it from the two punches, along with gravity bringing it back down, with the momentum continuing around. With relative ease from how often she had done this motion, the punching bag sailed right past her. She had specifically worn her Adamant bracers to increase her initial punches.

“One. Two,” She breathed out, repeating the jabs and continuing that exact same momentum. “Weave,” Once more she swept herself to the opposite side, the punching bag within a hair’s reach as it swung past her. As it creaked, September would step back, letting it slowly swing to a halt. She carefully flipped her bracers from her arms, exposing her wrists and taking up the towel. She wiped the sweat of her forehead first of all to be rid of the beads that dripped down her face, then wiped off the insides of the bracers and then her forearms. She would be fine in a fight, but she had been training by herself for hours that day already, and she had perspired plenty to cause issue if she didn’t clean up the metal of her gauntlets. It was strange, having worn them for training all days she felt as if the world around her was dulled, like things were moving just a fraction of a second faster. She knew it was just an effect that the Bracers gave off, increasing her senses to a degree, making things easier to avoid, or in their case, deflect, but with how rarely they did actually get used before now, especially for such a long amount of time, removing them was strange.

After a little snack break, and plenty of time to rest she would get to work again. With Adamant back on her wrists she felt the now typical twitches being sent through her body, starting from her arms and spiralling up her shoulders and through her chest. A small part of her had even begun to wonder how that might fell as she matured. That strange buzzing after all, perhaps when she became a full grown woman it might … no, she knew she shouldn’t have been having those thoughts. At least not yet any way. To distract herself she stuffed the last chocolate chip bread roll in to her mouth, tightening the bracers of Adamant so that they wouldn’t slip about anywhere whilst savouring the last of her sweet filled breads. Giving her arms a shape she tested to make sure that the bracers wouldn’t move even the tiniest bit, but finding them nice and snug she stepped back up. Hitting switch, the punching bag began to twist and swing and sway, built up to simulate a moving target.

Raising her fists she set herself for practising her feints. She would reel back and aim to punch, stopping sharply before making any blow, but instead using her own momentum to instead driving her other fist forwards from the opposite direction, using the halt of her body’s momentum to drive her weight forwards on her first. She would repeat this several times, trying out different forms of strikes, all of which she would stop mid-way through just to deliver the same surprise punch. With the guidance that the Adamant bracers gave her, she was able to get that much closer without touching with the first blow, whilst the true hit was able to hit its mark one hundred percent of the time despite the swaying. Weeks of training in this way had surely got herself prepared. And she would be going out on a gathering expedition soon. Not a mission per say, however she needed to get to know the area a little more, branch out from the Bachiatari training and living areas. And the more she had trained, the more prepared she had felt for just that. The more prepared she felt for that, the more relaxed that she could be.

“Hey girly, you’re not too bad,” September swung harder with the feint that was no longer a feint, and rocked the punching bag. Stood opposite her was a larger boy, if only a little older, and very slim. “That’s the Titan Fist style right?” He nodded, motioning with his hand too and pointing at her own balled up fists. As she glanced down she felt the rush of chakra disperse as she unballed her fists.

“Err… Yeah, sorta,” She was still sort of working on it, being ambidextrous she was apparently an expert fighter for both fighting styles after all. What she wouldn’t share however was having been working at combining the styles with the strength of her clan styles. She was most of the way there, but mixing the two boxing styles she could learn was proving to be a lot more difficult, as it was essentially mixing three completely separate taijutsu styles.

“How about a spar then, you look pretty strong, but I’ve been here under Master Armenezra for a while. You could say I’m his number one student.” He was smug, which was a bit of a tell that he might either be lying, or possibly even just that full of himself. As time would pass over the next hour, September would find out just how much of the second option that actually was. Something about the way he spoke down to her made September think of doing just that, dropping him down his place.

“Alright, I accept.” As soon as she said, she dropped herself in to a fighting stance, showing she was prepared to fight with her full strength. She would make sure to hold back her punches enough to not cause perminant harm, but this smug boy was telling her he was the Bachiatari leader’s number one student, a fact she knew for certain was false, and she planned to teach him a lesson to not do that.

“That’s a weird stance, but I can see that’s still the Titan Fist style.” He got in to his own stance, hands slightly looser and showing another mix of the two styles, and the one in which September had never quite been able to master. She found the Tsuyo Brawling to be the catalyst between her combining, but likewise she knew the true combination style to be something tough. Perhaps this was where he got his confidence. With a loud scream, alerting September to every strike he was making as he shouted with every wild punch, she managed to parry every last blow. Each swing of the young boys’ fists, September’s arms moved up to block and push his blows away as Adamant gave her the faster reaction speeds to block him without ever suffering any damage. “D-Dammit you stupid girl, s-stop blocking and l-let me hit you!” He was getting angrier, getting so much more careless, and thus getting more and more tired.

“This is pathetic,” She muttered as she held her arms in front of her face, catching his arms before sweeping her own arms out and throwing him back, leaving his torso prone. The look on his face was priceless, he was really startled by how flawlessly September was blocking him. Sure, she felt he had the strength behind his punches, but there was truly no style to them. He was going on raw power alone, planning to overwhelm his opponents. Not a bad strategy, perhaps it was thanks to Adamant, and those bracers alone, that helped her defeat him so effortlessly. She knew after all she had beaten him before even landing a blow. And that was to come. As he tried to get another hit in, too late, September ducked under him, twisting her body and punching up directly at the elbow. She instantly regretted that. His arm felt like liquid as she hit him. She broke his elbow pretty badly after all.

Tsuyo Strength Weekly: Weekly spec, [s]1000[/s] 500

It had been a week ever since September had stumbled upon the ancient ruins of a past civilisation of warrior women, making the decision that took her to taking a belt from an ancient statue calling out to her young Taki, and thus she would return home that night with the Living Weapon that was Hippolyta. It had taken some time to properly adjust to the constant presense of aother, the idea that privacy was quite literally in the past now. Hippolyta wasn’t exactly nosey, she seemed to go quiet a lot of time when not spoken to, or when she didn’t have anything truly to say, which certainly did help. But in those moments, Hippolyta was exceptionally vocal.

After a day of training with some of the other Bachiatari members, Hippolyta was learning just what was happening in the organisation, and September’s place within it. “So what you’re telling me… is that woman aren’t worth anything in this little group of yours.”

“Oh come on, we went over this,” It was true, September and her living belt had spoken with some length before the day of training. “The group are still finding their feet again. Don’t you remember what I told you about the heads. One of them is just barely of a higher rank than we are.”

“Yes, and just look at who you have been left to serve under.” She couldn’t fault Hippolyta for that remark, she had only met Hope once, and that was when she was being organised in to the medical class within the organisation which fit her just fine. Or perhaps it would fit her more later in the year when she could work more upon the true medical arts. Even before Hippolyta came in to the picture she felt it was a fault of a lot of medical personnel to stay in encampments. They were targets, of course, that could not be faulted. How else would you cripple an army than to take out the ones patching up wounds. But surely this was why they should be trained to fight.

“Waste of a man. But what would you expect.”

“He obviously has some skill or he wouldn’t have been given the post,”

“Well then you need to show exactly how weak he is! It should be rightfully your place! You, my dear girl, are September, a strong woman of the Taki clan. You are strong beyond all means. You are the holder of Hippolyta, and rightfully so. Your strength was drawn to mine own, and the strength of the women who bore me before.”

“… Yes Hippolyta, I know,” September droned back, groaning and rubbing her temple. Whenever Hippolyta got excited, a mark of her ‘strong will’ she had told her wearer, September could feel a tingling in the back of her skull, the voice of Hippolyta getting stronger. Not louder per say, but clearer. She had done a little research in to Living Weapons, or as much as she could any way, and apparently it wasn’t uncommon for some more strong willed to exert that will upon their wielder. It wasn’t hard to realise, she needed to become strong in more ways, keep Hippolyta happy, and therefore continue to work together.

Learning:

“September! Why am I having to wake you up! As a warrior woman it should be your own job to be awake at the crack of dawn! Don’t take a lesson from the lazy, sloth addled men of this world and sleep the day away!” It was the very start of dawn, the sun was just barely making it’s way over the horizon. And September was beginning to realise the rather loud draw backs to having a Living Weapon bound to her body. It was waking her up after only three hours sleep.

“Hippolyta. For goodness sakes. I was busy training last night,”

“Well I know that girl! You were training with that… weird… boy.” Because Hippolyta didn’t bother wanting to know names and she was easily just slumbering throughout the majority of her training.

“Yes well, I need to learn how to use Veritas to the best of my abilities. And Master Armen created that technique for increasing throwing speed, and obviously coupled with my strength,”

“Yes, your Amazonian Brawling style is coming along nicely. I recommend finishing it,”

“Yes Hippolyta. I know.” She was getting real fed up of this. She needed to find a compromise. “Just… let me sleep, ok? I have a job to do tomorrow. I can’t overwork myself, my muscles are still aching.”

“Oh fine,” Even if she was a belt, Hippolyta was having a strop. September was getting better confidence in talking back, and the two were still getting along for the most part. But September couldn’t help but see Hippolyta in the same way she had observed so many over protective mothers.

She paused a moment at that thought, placing a hand to her stomach where Hippolyta was fused in to her body. “… I’d like to hear your story later if you don’t mind. Maybe after I come back. We’ll finish my training in my styles, make sure I have everything. A story of old might help pass the time. Find that ‘warrior woman’ within me,”

“… Now you’re talking my dear,”

Learning: Adamant B-rank Reaction Weekly - 500 250, Weekly spec

Veritas was a completely new weapon that September needed to master. And quickly. Hippolyta had been plenty of help, for once, in teaching her how to use a rope as a weapon. And it’s natural durability, highly useful truth finding ability, and September’s own physical strength, she could quite easily make use of her time. She had set herself up in the training hard opposite the training dummies for the past two weeks, learning how to throw the rope first of all, and then to throw with fluidity besides straight strength throwing. Aside from throwing the rope hard and faster, she was learning how to bind with it. Several dummies lay with limbs torn off after the successful attempts, wrapping around the thick wood and with September’s pull, was simultaneously pulled towards her, whilst Veritas also harshly tightened around whatever it wrapped.

Feeling finished for the day she wound Veritas around her arm, getting it back in to a more manageable loop that she could hang from her belt. Oddly that had been one instance that Hippolyta had been very stringent about. Apparently it was a weapon forged by Gods, September had learned by now that possibly wasn’t true, but it was a powerful weapon that could give her new abilities, and wearing it hanging from the belt was a sign of pride and a sign that they have the approval of the Gods. At times she couldn’t help but think maybe Hippolyta was talking about herself all along. September didn’t put it past Hippolyta to consider herself Godlike.

“I can hear you thinking that girl,”

Oops.

Learning:

“September! Keep your head held high. Your feet firm.”

“Yes Ma’am,”

“Your chakra control is immense and growing each and every week. I can feel it coming. But you need the balance.”

“Yes Ma’- the balance?” September halted her sparring with a young trainee along side her of the Bachiatari, one she had encountered time and time again. The young blonde boy was used to the duel voices whilst training with September lately. Hippolyta didn’t even complain about him too much any more. He was all about helping, he didn’t have huge ambitions of ruling. In some ways, Hippolyta seemed to be trying to set the two up together for some reason. September just ignored those comments.

“Yes September, the balance.” The blonde girl dropped her fists, and her sparring partner stepped did the same. With a wave of her hand she told him to take five, and she watched him wander off to most likely grab some snack.

“But I thought we were working on the full amalgam style?”

“The true brawling style of the Amazonians, yes. But once you have it mastered, I would not place it as your go-to technique,” If there was one thing that September loved the presence of Hippolyta for, was that she was a strategist. She provided an extra bit of knowledge and so many life times of past experience. September had become so focused on her taijutsu styles before meeting the Living Weapon, she was being made to think outside the box. To think how to use her techniques. “For example, your clan allows you to physically defend yourself against the elements, yes? Well where is the use of this when you let an opponent find out this information from the beginning.” September nodded, taking herself to the side for a little more private a conversation.

“… Yes, I suppose that makes sense. I should learn the Amazonian style, and… Yes.”

“You learn quickly girl,”

“Please stop reading my mind,”

“It’s quite hard to September. You let me in with much ease.” Hippolyta was not wrong. September had long accepted that the best way was to understand each other. In this case, Hippolyta had very few hard rules, but otherwise the pair were very much open to each other. Hippolyta could share her thoughts, though was only permitted to say to September herself, not aloud, but in return September would share much of her own.

“Now let’s go. You almost have it. Combining three separate fighting styles is surely difficult, but I believe in your Miss Taki. You shall soar to greatness.”

Training: Tsuyo Weekly Strength (A) 1000 500. Weekly training spec.
+ Summoning Technique

“Piggytrot Piggytrot Piggytrot~”

The presense of the little fluffy boar was beginning to become a near weekly occurance. September knew that before too long she would pass over to the Summoning Realm to truly meet the rest of the Boars, but it seemed that little Andrasteia was becoming fast friends with the young Taki girl, and she thought so in return. The little Boar was an interesting companion, and shared a lot of interesting little stories. She of course also announced her arrival long before she actually arrived with her little vocal tick. Hippolyta wasn’t much a fan, chastising her often for ‘not being very stealthy’, but September just found it adorable.

On that day, September was returning from her three times weekly trip to the local bakery, and damn was she near single handedly keeping them in business. It meant money was always a little tight, but she had been gifted a discount for her frequent patronage. And thus meant more pressure to keep going. Pressure she did not need.

“Piggytrot Piggytrot~”

The young Taki member stopped and turned back down the road they had come down. She tucked the bag of delicious baked goods over her arm in the crook of her elbow and crouched down. She knew the impeding chants meant Andrasteia was running at full throttle and every other time she had been bowled over by the little boar.

And she didn’t fail in the expectations. Just seconds after September was crouched down, braced in to the ground and with her arms out, the little bundle of excitable boar fur came hurtling around a corner and slammed right in to September’s chest. “Gee, can you one day make an appearance that doesn’t involve knocking us over?”

“Oh leave her alone Lyta,” The Living belt huffed as she was told off. She too understood her place in things now, she learned to stop telling her wielder what to do, how to live her life. Instead she was getting used to her place in guiding the youth. The ancient being knew September could be strong, to bond with Andrasteia and in turn the other Boars that she had made her Contract with and had yet to properly meet yet.

“Are you prepared to teach us the technique to visit your home yet little one?”

“Huh?” Andrasteia was still wriggling, finding comfort in September’s arms as the girl stood cradling the young boar to her chest and resuming her walk home. “Oh! Yes! Big Sis Isis taught me!”

“Good! Please, before you forget teach her now!”

“Lyta! Stop being so pushy,” She understood why the weapon was being like that, they had met with Andrasteia several times and each time it had not gone so well. Andrasteia was simply too absent minded at times. She said little more, she didn’t want to distract the little writhing mess of brown fur and make her lose her string of thought.

Home wasn’t even too far away, and September made her choice in how to approach this. “Alright.” She muttered to herself, picking up the pace some to walk around to the side of the apartments where she had done her training recently to practise with Veritas. And there was plenty of little bumps in the ground to prove that she had been training there.

“Hey Tember, what’re we doing around here? Don’t we have delicious chocolates to eat?”

“Yes Andi. But… I really need to learn how to get to see the Boars,” The little boar sniffled as she was put down, shuffling off ahead. She reminded September much of a told off child with how she would stop after just a few feet and look back, as if September and Hippolyta might have changed their minds. “C’mon, we do this and then we can play in my blanket and eat bread all day,” She turned her head up and the wide, yet so damn adorable, smile was plastered across her face. She hurried off in to place, and with just a few seconds poofed away in smoke.

“… I saw absolutely zero of that,” September could swear she heard Hippolyta eye roll, and she didn’t possess a mouth or eyes to roll. In the back of her mind she saw a flash of seals, or more precisely Andrasteia in slow motion. She was slow and precise in her own motions to make sure she had it right, knowing well what a mistake could cause. And then boof, she was away.

And stood before her was an enormous boar. “Andromeda! Oh how good it is to see you once again,” Hippolyta was ecstatic. September fainted.
