| Well she was thoroughly bored and now lying just a few inches off the ground so she wouldn't need to touch the dirt. It couldn't actually touch her but that was beside the point. She lay there and flailed weakly. She'd been here like two damn days now and her bounty had not shown up! There were small villages in the trees, she knew that much but she couldn't exactly wander in and say to the populace "Hello, I am looking for X and Y so I can brutally murder them!" That wouldn't go down well at all. So she had been forced to wait at the bottom of the trees for her bounty to show up and yet they had not shown up at all. Did they just stay up there and fuck trees all day? Hopefully they'd show up soon, they had to... She could always just set fire to the trees though but that would probably end badly and by badly she meant that people would come down and murder her face... Not an ideal outcome. "Huurrryy uuupppp..." She muttered to herself, pouting as she sat up and continued her boring, boring vigil. | |

| Mage, the impatient little wench, would see her hope for her bounty descending from the trees come true. A girl with wild hair fell from the tree tops, landing in a crouch completely unharmed despite the height of the drop. She landed next to Mage, barely noticing the girl beside her as she stood and stretched to remove the stiffness from her joints. He flicked her hair over her shoulder and checked her pockets, beginning to look around as though she lost something. As she looked around frantically, she seemed to find what she was looking for, but her attention was drawn towards the floating girl near her "Umm....Hello?" | |

| "Dirty harlot!" Mage cried as she was rudely surprised by her target. That wasn't how this was supposed to work! She was supposed to get the drop on her foe. She rolled backwards and floated about ten feet away before dramatically turning around to point at the girl. "Your days are numbered! You have a bounty on your head and I am here to collect it. You must have the worst luck, like... Kicking puppies in a previous life bad luck! Because you need to face off against me. I am..." A heavy wind blew through the trees at that moment, completely cutting out the girl's name but with the distance, Mage was certain her target had heard it "...Powerful mage in existence! I'm going to turn you into nothing but flesh jelly..." She paused for a few moments and grimaced. "That's actually kind of gross... I don't think I will do that. Anyway!" She shook her head and drew her crook, it looked like a wizard's staff after all. She then pointed it towards the girl in front of her. "You better not try and run, you'll never escape from me. Now come and meet your end!" | |

| The girl looked more than a bit confused at what the other was saying "They sent a nutcase like you to bring in my bounty?" She gave a bark of laughter and shook her head "Little girl, I didn't even catch your name. I would never think of running away from someone like you. You look like the type of person to get beat up by a Kelbi." She laughed a again before shaking her head "So just piss off!" She swung her hands and four bullets of bone launched forwards from her hands at Bullet Release speeds, making a beeline for Mage's chest. - Spoiler:
4 Finger Bullets moving towards Mage at C-Rank+ Speeds, dealing C-Rank Life Release Physical Piercing Damage each
Name: Ten-Finger Drilling Bullet Classification: ShurikenKinjutsu Rank: C (D-Rank Damage + C-Rank Pain) Class: Offensive Range: Long
Description: Hardened bones from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the skeletal bullets. A direct hit will excavate skin, flesh, and bone and covers up to 40ft before losing it's momentum and dropping to the ground. Since the bones of the user can be regenerated, the rate of fire from the user's arsenal is nearly limitless. This jutsu is capable of moving at bullet release speeds each possessing defense piercing to inflict life release physical damage to opponents, C-Rank in the case of Dakar or equal to the density of a Kurogane's bones. Depending on the skill of the user the amount of Drilling Bullet's that can be released at once from one hand varies. Rank - Number of Drilling Bullets D - 1 C - 2
Name: Dead Bone Pulse Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description:This is an additional ability of the Kurogane clan which gives them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure. By infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed however the speed at which the injuries heal vary and as a result the user if not careful can bleed out from producing bones too carelessly. Users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This carries over to every one of their taijutsu based life release techniques and with rank they generally increase in power and strength capping out at S-rank in which even life release ranked at C-rank have the durability of an S-rank simply because the density of the bones have been increased to unparalleled levels. which even life release ranked at C-rank have the durability of an S-rank simply because the density of the bones have been increased to unparalleled levels. A Kurogane is allowed to do a 1000 Word weekly training to increase the density of their skeleton capping out at S-rank as well as another 1000 Word weekly training to increase the speed at which injuries are healed from sprouting bones from the body which also caps at S-rank. - Elysa Current Bone Density = C-Rank - Speed Injuries are healed from using Dead Bone Pulse = B-Rank

| Mage gave a low growl and then narrowed her eyes, ready to deflect the attack that was going to be launched but... After it was, she let out a loud, deep groan, just letting the bullets pass straight through her. "Uuuugggghhh, you don't even have a good magic type! You're entirely useless to me! I was hoping you'd actually be like useful or something, instead you're just... Boring! Guess all I'm getting out of this is money." She huffed, puffing out her cheeks for a few moments before flooding chakra into her fire orb, charging it up. Of course without elemental sensory and vision into Limbo, the girl wouldn't even know what was happening. With that done she then landed her feet on the ground and dropped a doppleganger out the bottom of her feet, so they were standing feet to feet, surface and below. After putting a B-Rank and some D-Ranks of chakra into the doppleganger it floated away and popped its head up about a foot behind her, watching for now. "Do you wanna try that again?" The actual Mage responded, cracking her neck and unleashing a burst of water at the girl to try and concuss her a bit, maybe make this fight a little easier for her to deal with. "Droplet..." She growled as she done so, making sure to invoke the proper spell so that it wouldn't backlash against her. - Spoiler:
Intangibility causes immunity to physical attacks.
Name: Ambient Soul: Doppelganger Classification: Soul tech Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Varies
Description: Soulless are capable of manifesting copies of themselves which have the same tiers as the original however each Doppelganger has part of the overall amount of chakra the Soulless possesses. As a result when destroyed if the chakra is not all used up a chunk of their chakra is lost in the process. Despite that Doppelganger's are quite useful due to being a key part of Advanced Soul Tech due to their unique relationship with Soul Orbs. Rank of Soulless - Number of Doppelganger's D - 1
Name: Chakra Sense Classification: Soul tech/Taijutsu Rank:D-rank Class:Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Soulless have an acute sensing nature and can immediately discern the chakra nature of others around them. The reason for this is due to their high sensitivity to chakra making them valued trackers as they can sense individual chakra signatures as all Soulless are natural sensor types. The use of this technique grants them the ability to track chakra signatures over short distances within a topic. Rank - Tracking Distance (ft) D - 5
Name: Ars Anima (Signature) Classification: Soul Tech Rank: D-Rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Mage's unique belief in herself and the 'magic' that she wields causes some odd changes in how it is molded and focused. She believes that to truly utilise a spell she needs to shout the name of it to focus the power and launch it with maximum strength. Due to this when she does shout the name of her technique the effects are increased by a number of tier levels, other than damage, dependent on Mage's rank. However when she is unable to call the name of her technique they cost more chakra to use due to the failed focusing, the amount of additional chakra is dependent on her rank as well. This also has a unique cosmetic effect of causing her eyes to change colour depending on the element she is currently using.
Rank - Tier Level Increase - Chakra Cost Increase D - 0 - 5-Ranks
Name: Ars Hydro: Droplet Classification: Soul Tech Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: Collecting chakra within their soul orb, the user focuses it and launches it forward in a wave at D-Rank speeds. Anyone struck takes D-Rank water release chakra damage and are smashed with the concussive force of the water. This causes one of two things to happen dependent on the victim's tiers. If they possess D-Rank strength to root themselves in place, they take D-Rank internal physical damage and are weakened for a short amount of time dependent on their endurance tiers, causing their physical tiers to be lowered by a tier level until it wears off. If they are thrown aside they take no additional damage but become dizzy, causing them to fall if they attempt to move at max tiers or higher but this can be negated by D-Rank barrier tiers and lasts for a set number of PT depending on the victim's endurance tiers. Lastly this technique does have a cooldown, lowered dependent on the user's rank and generates 2 D-Ranks of water materia when used.
Tiers - Status Duration(PT) None - 6 D - 4 D+ - 3 D++ - 2 C- - 1 C - Immune
Rank - Cooldown(PT) D - 5
- Doppleganger:
Name: Journeyman's Fleeing Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-Rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: A Mag e is not one to run directly into combat, especially not physical combat, in fact that's the last thing they want to do. Due to this they need to learn how to run away from enemies, especially fast ones that want to cut them to pieces. However they love standing back and launching fireworks at another mage over a large distance, letting their firepower do the talking. Due to this when an opponent is over thirty feet away, the user's speed is dropped by two tier levels, when an opponent is over twenty feet away but not yet thirty their speed is reduced by one tier level, when between ten and twenty feet away, speed is not modified, when between five and ten, the user's speed is increased by one tier level and when a foe is within five feet their speed is increased by two tier levels. This technique counts as B-Rank speed otherwise.

| Her attack went through the girl and the female let out a small growl of frustration. She was annoying, intangible. And she talked a hell of a lot. When the wave of water came her way, the Elysa twirled out of the way of the attack at C-Rank Speeds, all the while performing handseals. Once she stopped her spinning, she spewed out her own wave of water at the the annoying little female moving at Crashing Ground Speeds, either to change the battle field to her advantage or deal at least a little bit of damage to her opponent. - Spoiler:
C-Rank Chakra for EWCW = 80ft AoE and 1 B-Rank of water materia made
Name: Kurogane Style - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (Chakra Cost Varies) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: AOE
Description: The user spits out a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up and crushing the enemy with the advancing surge causing victims who are unable to lock themselves in place with B-rank strength tiers to be carried along with the incoming water being churned underwater to deal blunt B-rank chakra damage to their internal organs if they are submerged under it. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speeds of Crashing Ground, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks depending on the amount of water used. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used; when used with large amounts of chakra it is possible for the user to create copious amounts of water to flood the area, regardless however it still moves at the same speed regardless of the amount of chakra put into it. Afterwards, the excess water can be used for additional Water Release techniques. The Kurogane Tribe have put their own influence into this technique, as unlike the original their version causes the water to constantly rise and fall as the chakra churns underneath, requiring one to posses a c rank walking on water technique to not be swallowed by the waves, however under windy or stormy conditions a B rank variant for walking on water is required or by possessing Water, Acid, Aqua or an element that utilizes Water release in its make up one need not possess a water walking variant as they are already used to the shifting structure of water produced by chakra. The water sticks around for 15 posts before dispersing its shape to the surroundings. Chakra Used - Area of Effect (radius) - Amount of Water Produced C - 80 - 1 B-rank

| Water release huh? Well it was unfortunate that this silly girl didn't know who she was actually fighting against. Mage let out a loud "Huzzah!" as the water slammed into her and proceeded to do absolutely nothing. In fact, Mage could feel the power she'd taken from it enhancing her own water orb. "You have made quite the mistake, silly girl!" She laughed loudly and narrowed her eyes, her iris changing from blue to a soft green-ish colour. She poured chakra into her wind orb and formed a burst of wind behind the girl to knock her forwards into another eruption of water from her other soul orb. "Ars Ventio: Aero! Ars Hydro: Water!" She incanted as she done so, eye flickering back to blue oncem ore. Although it wasn't the only thing happening as the doppleganger knew how to help herself! Due to not being spotted she floated along, easily following the girl with her speed. She then gently tapped the ground under where the girl was standing as Mage was chanting. "Shackle..." She shouted as chains of ambient power erupted from the earth to try and wrap around the girl and keep her locked in place. Due to the power of the chains of course, they would double as strength tiers for the girl... Locking her in place to take more damage from the elemental deluge launching towards her. - Doppleganger:
B-Rank speed to follow. C-Rank chakra sight+X-Ray vision to notice shackle being placed.
C-Rank reaction+C-Rank speed to dodge the Shackle.
Name: Ars Imperium: Shackle Classification: Soul Tech Rank: C-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Contact(Activation), AoE(5 foot radius, Triggered)
Description: Simply by touching the ground, the user invests a part of their ambient chakra within it as a trap. This trap can only be detected by C-Rank or higher chakra sensory, with X-Ray vision if somehow placed under ground. When an opponent steps over the trap or at the user's whim, it triggers, causing chains of chakra to leap up at C-Rank speeds to attempt to wrap around the targets that triggered it. Due to the sudden nature, if not detected, it requires C-Rank reaction tiers to effectively get out of the way. Once trapped, the chakra based nature of the chains means that normal strength cannot break the chains, it either requires a D-Rank chakra expulsion technique in addition to C-Rank strength, a C-Rank full body chakra flow technique with D-Rank strength or a C-Rank chakra expulsion technique to break the chains. In addition to this, if Shackle is imbued with an element, the chakra flow or expulsion techniques need to be strong against the element imbued or the tier requirements go up by one rank.
- Mage:
Name: Ambient Soul: Greater Assimilation Classification: Soul tech Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Prime are much more versed in chakra than their Soulless predecessors and such have forsaken their "physical" bodies losing the ability to be harmed by Taijutsu, as well as losing the ability to learn it, however they strangely retain the ability to use Taijutsu that they have already learned pre-awakening in order to affect things which are semi-intangible such as Entity, Cryptic, Dead-Mode using weapons and even other Prime. This technique is known to be superior to Ambient Soul: Chakra Assimilation despite sharing all of it's uses; this is due the effect a Prime gains when struck by a same elemental technique. The next chakra using technique of the same element that they were struck by gains an additional boost to damage gained from the Prime's own immunity. This allows Prime to further prey on those who have the same nature release transformation. Damage Sustained - Same Element Attack Bonus Recoil - None Normal (Raw & Blunt) - Overpowers Same Affinity Equal to Rank of STAB
Name: Ars Ventio: Aero Classification: Soul Tech Rank: C-Rank Class: Offensive Range: Mid
Description: Gathering chakra within their soul orb, the user infuses it with their wind nature and then expels it in a burst of wind that can be directed at max mid ranges away from them. This wind can be in any direction the user wishes, and moves at C-Rank speeds, and if an opponent is struck they will be knocked ten feet in that direction unless they possess C-Rank strength to root themselves in place, if they do they take an additional C-Rank of internal damage. If they fail to resist they are moved at C-Rank speeds, if slammed into the ground from standing they take C-Rank physical damage and if launched upwards they take damage dependent on how far they fell before hitting the ground. Lastly this wind can be used to redirect projectiles moving with C-Rank speeds or slower and deals C-Rank crushing damage to projectiles thrown with strength. For an additional price of a B-Rank of chakra, this can also slow B-Rank speed based projectiles by one tier level and for an A-Rank of chakra it can slow B-Rank speed based projectiles by two tier levels or B-Rank strength based projectiles by one tier level.

| The girl may have been able to deal with the assault of Wind and Water, but the shackles sprang up from the ground and wrapped themselves around her, holding her securely in place. Her Danger Sense may have been able to alert her in time if she was a bit older, but her eleventh birthday was two weeks away. Just her luck right? Thus when the wind struck her from behind and the water from in front she was held securely in place, receiving more damage that she would've if she had been free to be carried with the assaults. She gave a cough, blood dribbling from the corners of her mouth and a glare on her face "Alright, you freak! If you're gonna kill me just do it already!" There was no way she could break these chains, she was done for. - Spoiler:
2 C-Ranks of Chakra Based Damage and 2 C-Ranks of Internal Damage received (1 A-Rank Damage in total)

| A large, almost feral, grin spread across Mage's lips. It would seem this girl was in no way powerful enough to defeat her. "I guess you have learned your mistake, child, perhaps in your next life you will learn not to insult your superiors!" She declared, holding her crook forwards from about five feet away from her prey as she was trapped in the chains, unable to even move to body replace. "Dark Ars Hydro: DUAL CAST WATERA!" She roared, power erupting from her orb where it sat within the curve of the crook, a horrific cascade of water leaping forwards to hammer into the girl's body and finally end her pitiful existence. She should have been more careful and much more capable before trying to take on Mage, it was almost a disgrace. "Tch..." She huffed quietly, waiting to see the aftermath of her attack and to make sure the girl had died so that she could cross her off and float away to the next one on the list, doppleganger folding into her body once more. - Spoiler:
Name: Dark Arts: Dual-Cast Classification: Soul Tech/Kinjutsu Rank: D-Rank(Blood Price one below dual-casted tech rank) Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Varies
Description: By using her blood as a catalyst in addition to chakra, Mage has learned she can bypass some of her own rules, just as she was always supposed to do. With this, she focuses her chakra together with her blood and launches two techniques at once, even if they are the exact same technique. This negates normal cooldowns and doesn't cause doubled up activation times to launch techniques of that nature at the same time. This can of course be incredibly taxing on Mage's body and has a cooldown before she can dual-cast again but the power granted can be massive if she uses it correctly.
Rank - Cooldown(PT) D - 10
Name: Ars Hydro: Watera Classification: Soul Tech Rank: B-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: Collecting chakra within their soul orb, the user focuses it and launches it forward in a wave at B-Rank speeds. | The girl rolled her eyes and braced for her end. That weird little cunt was extremely long winded, anyone else would've just ended her. Listening to her talk was like listening to a "Better-than-thou" seminar. A really really really long one. Then the attack came and pain blossomed for a moment before everything went black. Her body slackened in the chains and she was down for the count. - Spoiler:

| With that done and checking to make sure the girl was actually dead, Mage used a little bit of chakra flow to steal a small item from her body as proof of the kill. Then she turned and floated away, merging her doppleganger back into her body and restoring the pitiful amount of chakra remaining but that would return, it always did. She had a lot of magic in her body after all and she couldn't wait for the next fight. A grin split her features and she vanished into the earth itself to hunt out the next one on her list.
