This working thing wasn’t so bad, Enzo felt as if he was getting the hang of it. Slowly but surely, he would have enough money to someday move out of his Aunts place and be lazy all on his own. Maybe that’s not the reason of motivation that he was giving, but Enzo still made it look like he was doing this for other reasons, besides the truth of only wanting to be left alone. He didn’t know how much he had to pay in order to get his own place, but his aunt was a madwoman and didn’t give up on shoving down the importance of being an adult own his throat.
This particular assignment was circled around delivering some mail and packages around the village. The mail and the packages ha to be delivered before daybreak, so it was quite important for the mail to be delivered on time. The last person sprained their ankle, so he wouldn’t be able to do the run today while he waited for the medical ninja to get around to him. However, they didn’t want the mail to be delivered late. “Hey, kid!” The head mailman would say in a booming voice as he looked at Enzo up and down. “sup?” Enzo said bit casually towards the man, probably getting on his nerves. “How fast are you? Are you that Enzo kid that answered the job? Sorry about being on such short notice, but we really did need someone today.” He was clearly frustrated as he handed the bag over to Enzo. “Think you could get the job done?” Enzo knew that he could move at B rank speeds, which was good enough for what this man had in store for him. The overall movement could possibly bring him to make the deliveries in record time.
“Sure thing!”
