Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 3:54 pm

Takahiro was nervous, to say the least, as he waited in the classroom with the other students taking the exam. He looked around at them, as any could be his opponent today or it could be someone from another classroom. A few of the exam participants had already been called for their match so far, which just continued making Takahiro nervous. Sure, he talked big coming up to this point. But now that he was actually here he was feeling butterflies. Sometimes, some people died in these exams, yeah it was rare but it happened. Would he die today? Would he accidentally kill his opponent? Sure the referees were supposed to stop the killing blow, but would they be able to? That was what made Takahiro so nervous. He knew if his father was still around he would be able to give words to calm Takahiro's mind, but he wasn't... He was killed by Xing Denkou... The usurper. Takahiro sighed as he looked down at Midas who was unusually quiet today beneath the wrapping. Usually he would have something to say about Takahiro's current mental state, or the fact there was so many juicy morsels here to turn to gold. He usually tried talking Takahiro into turning people to gold, but not today. He wasn't struggling with the wrappings at all. Was it because an actual fight was going to happen? Did Midas believe today that Takahiro would use him without hesitation? The thought kind of scared Takahiro.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 4:09 pm

It didn't take too long of sitting around before Takahiro was called out. A Jonin stepped into the room, red hair tied up in a bun against the back of her head. She winced as she moved, limping slightly. It was obvious that she was here because she was wounded for the moment. She gave a soft cough and looked around over them all before giving a quiet cough. She pulled out a piece of paper and read it. "Takahiro Denkou. You are next to the examination hall. Your opponent is Alexander Orev. Head to Hall 3, it is down the corridor to the right, it's on the doorway." With that she turned and walked out of the room, letting Takahiro make his way to the hall. No one else in the room moved so it would seem as though Alexander was in a different classroom.

Once Hiro was in the hall, it was pretty large, the Jonin sitting about halfway in and ready to duck in to prevent anyone from dying. Against the far end of the room, sitting down against the wall, seemed to be a boy. His shoulders were broad and he seemed pretty tall but his age was almost impossible to tell due to the mask that covered his face. It was entirely blank but seemed to have a small hook in the center giving it almost an owl-like appearance. He sat there on the ground, back to the wall, staring at the floor for the moment. He didn't even react as Takahiro entered the room. If the Denkou bothered to look at the jonin she'd just shrug and nod. This was his opponent.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 4:27 pm

Takahiro would jump out of his seat upon being called for the next match. It was finally time. As he walked to the exam hall he would shift through his five denki kunai, wondering what he should do for this match and what his opponent would be doing against him. He would frown but then he simply bit his lip to knock him out of the stupor. He had to focus, if he couldnt succeed here he had no right to avenge his father and brother and to get back his clan. He was the true heir to the Denkou lineage and had to act as such. After entering and looking around he would think his opponent strange for a student, but he couldn't let that disturb him. No, to foster his own courage he had to act tough. He decided to take out his golden denki kunai, the first thing he had ever touched with Midas. This was it, his biggest day. He would look to the opponent before walking onto the exam area and stopping fifteen feet from the center. He would then toss his kunai down at the very center of it, the kunai imbedding itself into the ground. "I will not let you pass this my kunai. Try your hardest, but I will win. So let's have a good match, Ok?" he would say with a weak smile as his stomach turned from nervousness.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 4:41 pm

When the kunai hit the ground, Alexander finally looked up. He looked at the kunai and then got to his feet. He stepped forwards and two large blades, like oversized bayonets, dropped down into his hands. The long sleeves of his coat seemed to hide where the blades had came from but they were almost too large to fit in his sleeves at all. He rotated them over his fingers and then looked up at Takahiro. The eyeholes of the mask were dark, only pale yellow light able to be seen within them, more than likely the boy's eyes. He walked forwards until he was the same distance away from the center. Not a word was said, not at all. Instead he just started to walk towards Takahiro, staring directly at him, staring not into his eyes but at his nose for some reason, in fact thinking back on it, that's what he'd done before. Was there something that he knew? Nevertheless he didn't go quickly, he just walked, step by step moving towards Takahiro, never stopping. What would the boy do, would he try and hold true to his promise of not letting Alexander pass?

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 5:07 pm

Takahiro took out another kunai and held it at the ready as he matched the guys pace, walking forward toward him, he wasn't sure what this guy was capable of yet and it unnerved him. After about five feet of them both moving, he would go into action, his eyes turning from black to a bright blue with lightning bolts appearing in them as he activated his stage 2 Raidengan. Takahiro would be wrapped in lightning release chakra, his body giving off a blindingly bright flash and an extremely loud boom of thunder as he charged forward. The bright light and deafening boom would both blind and deafen the guy unless he was immune to Genjutsu, however, it would more than likely seem normal due to lightning release. As such, Takahiro would continue forward, charging at the guy at crashing ground speeds. If the guy could somehow still see though he would see Takahiro emitting a bright light from his body, if he had a form of perception like chakra or lightning perception they would become overwhelmed unless they were A Rank or above. Takahiro would form his Thunder Phantom Clone,  a combination of his Thunder Phantom and Lightning Clone in order to slip away unnoticed while utilizing silent killing, requiring B Rank Reaction+Speed to even notice him slipping away as his clone was formed, making it seem as if the clone was never formed and it was the actual Takahiro. The clone would continue forward toward the opponent as Takahiro slipped around at crashing ground speeds to his left. He would pull out a third kunai, this one sparking to life as it was enveloped by Super Vibrato-Blade. He would then try to stab the guy in the side, hoping to end this quickly with the powerful electricity from Super Vibrato-Blade and the shock explosion of the Thunder Bolt technique which would envelope a 15 ft area. And to add onto that, if the enemy had continued forward and stepped into the ten foot radius of the center of the field where his kunai was, the ground would spark with electricity, the lightning release coursing through the area and going up through the targets body as soon as he stepped on it to stun him in place so as the onslaught assassination could succeed. But there was something strange about the lightning from Thunder Bolt, Super Vibrato-Blade and Thunder Field... It wasn't made of chakra... It was all physical lightning as Takahiro had stored these lightning release jutsu into his denki kunai beforehand so as to save chakra and create a surprise for his opponent.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime3rd July 2016, 5:22 pm

All of this would have been absolutely fine... Had Alexander not already known exactly what the Denki kunai were used for, what their very purpose was. He had been expecting this from the moment he had been allowed to analyse the kunai that had been drilled into the ground, rather dumb to let such powerful weapons be showcased immediately... There were those that knew exactly what they could do after all, just by looking at them. Alexander was one of those people, not that Takahiro would know this. All of a sudden the glow from his eyes turned brighter and he nimbly sidestepped the bolt as it was launched at him, the genjutsu breaking the moment they triggered on him, leaving no lasting effects. How odd that they could be broken so easily but then again they weren't exactly too powerful.

Turning his head slightly, Alexander launched a bayonet at the clone before pushing backwards at B-Rank speeds, inadvertently dodging the attack that Takahiro had tried to launch at him before the boy's speed wore off. The bayonet, as he had stroked the handle fondly before throwing it, suddenly puffed into twelve explosive tags backing the B-Rank damage the bayonet would deal with an additional B-Rank of physical explosion damage, annihilating the clone if it didn't move out of the way and revealing Takahiro as there was nothing more to hide behind and the speed of Alexander's movements had allowed him to dodge the strikes. He stopped and scanned around for a few moments before another bayonet dropped into his hand from his sleeve and he held them in a cross before him, left hand pointing a bayonet down, right hand crossing over it. Still not a sound had been uttered.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime6th July 2016, 7:01 pm

Takahiro would end his dojutsu immediately upon failing to succeed in his onslaught. It seemed this guy was not the average opponent he would fight. The mere fact he stayed away from the weapon he originally sent out was key enough to figure he was one of three things, but Takahiro had to rule out a few more things. He definitely wasn't Kukinorite as he had no skates. So Yoroi or Rikigaku would be the next ideal thing to determine what he was. Either way, that may prove fatal for Takahiro. Due to the connection of his genjutsu breaking so quickly, Takahiro could only deduce that it had to be a Yoroi with a Parasitic Living Weapon. That would be the worst case for him if he didn't try anything. Takahiro decided to play it safe for a moment, to better deduce what his opponent could do. He took a few steps backwards, walking back to the range of his kunai that he had stabbed into the ground. He still had two more denki kunai left with a charge, the rest were out of charge but he did still have them on his person. This guy would probably win against Takahiro but he still had to try something. If only he had access to some pills that could restore his chakra he would be able to fight harder. Maybe even win.

Alexander would notice his opponent had continued to maintain his distance after his clone was destroyed, no matter if that was the case then he would simply have to go to Takahiro and he would crouch before beginning to charge forward at B-rank speeds, his eye still glowing white as he knew he could easily overpower his opponent in close combat after all that was what his kind excelled at, when he got closer however around 12 ft away he would pivot before launching the bayonet straight at Hiro and then moving in from the side while his opponent was still preoccupied with the incoming projectile to ready himself to either throw another one or if his opponent did in fact manage to dodge the strike and the follow up explosion to engage him in close combat.

Takahiro's Genin Exam Empty
PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime6th July 2016, 7:52 pm

Takahiro watched him coming in, pulling out a kunai himself so he held three with the newer one seeming to spark for a moment, though it was more of a blur now that his dojutsu was not active. However, he did not need it to be for this. He had one last thing to do against this Yoroi and it would take up nearly all his chakra. Takahiro would disappear in a puff of smoke upon the bayonet (or tags) hitting him, his body replacing with a floor tile as he reappeared behind the yoroi while kneeling down. His left hand held two kunai in it, which he had against the ground. A pulse of electricity shot out from it at crashing ground speeds, though it wouldn't really feel like anything was happening with it. Along with the pulse of chakra two other things occurred. One was the ground began emitting another bright light over a ten foot radius, lightning coursing up through it to try and stun the yoroi in place while if he was hit by the lightning pulse he would be unable to manipulate his chakra, along with his living weapon, as their chakra became stunned. Takahiro would follow it up with his third kunai, it releasing the built up energy and covering his body in the Thunder Bolt technique as he would ram forward with the Arhat Check technique to slam his lightning covered body into the opponent before the Thunder Bolt technique would send out a large fifteen foot explosion of lightning release damage at crashing ground speeds. This was Takahiro's last hope, he would have merely 5 D ranks left of chakra to use after this. If he failed the attack, he would be hard pressed to follow it up though he still had one plan left.

PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime6th July 2016, 8:01 pm

When Takahiro appeared behind Alexander, a demented glint appeared in his eyes as his opponent, would find that the Denki Kunai he was holding become incinerated by the aura that was surrounding Alexander's body. This would prevent him from being able to use the stun field as the medium for their use was gone, not only that but Alexander wouldn't be stunned and thus would turn his aura completely unaffected by the pulse effect. The reasoning was simple, he wasn't molding any chakra, he was utilizing Energy Tech or rather his beloved Helena was by overriding his mind, there wasn't any need to mold it as Energy Tech by definition was not a chakra based technique. Either way when Hiro approached he would find his third Denki Kunai also incinerated, preventing him once again from discharging the electricity necessary to facilitate another lightning technique. Meanwhile Alexander would burst forward throwing his Bayonet forward moving to impale Hiro in his chest, fully okay with throwing the weapon or detonating it if his target did attempt to escape.

PostSubject: Re: Takahiro's Genin Exam   Takahiro's Genin Exam Icon_minitime6th July 2016, 8:26 pm

Takahiro was simply... stunned to say the least when his weapons turned up destroyed. They were the few last things he had from his clan. They were his last weapons. "DAMN YOU!" he would shout as rage filled his eyes, the black becoming blue as his dojutsu activated out of sheer anger to stage three. Takahiro could see the attack incoming, but he couldn't dodge it. All he could do... was accept it. Takahiro took the hit, but not with his chest. Midas intervened. Midas moved himself in the path of the attack, Takahiro using his strength simulation to give himself a burst of strength in Midas before the strike. It pierced through his hand but Midas moved just enough so the blade would pierce his shoulder rather than his chest. Takahiro simultaneously threw his body against Alexander, attempting to use sheer force to slam him to the ground as Midas and his shoulder went through the weapon. Takahiro was yelling in both pain and anger, but what drove him was the thought that he was losing all connection to his clan's weaponry. This would leave him with only the golden dagger that was twelve feet away from them. But Takahiro was using Arhat check to toss himself and the opponent to the ground. Midas slid through the bayonet, his hand stopping against the hand of Alexander as Takahiro would begin letting loose a barrage of rage filled punches toward Alexander's face at bullet release speeds. Takahiro would not let up, no matter what occurred. It would take the exam proctor to force Takahiro off if his onslaught succeeded. "DAMN YOU DAMN YOU DAMN YOU DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!!!"

Under the mask was a feral grin sitting on Alexander's face. It would seem he had finally got to this little bastard and made him angry. That was good, it was what Alex had been going for. From the moment that Takahiro had got into here and was acting cocky, Alexander hadn't wanted to win, he had just wanted to show this little shit up and make him mad, it was always more amusing that way. So the moment he drove his bayonet forwards, rather than let it impale him, he slipped to the side, sliding the bayonet back into his sleeve causing it to vanish. "I forfeit." He spoke for the first time, his voice was surprisingly dusty, as though he very rarely spoke at all and held a faint accent. Of course it was unlikely that Takahiro would care about that and would likely attempt to continue attacking Alexander. If he tried that of course the proctor would step in, grab Alexander at Vacuum Release speeds and then dash away, putting him down. The boy reached up and adjusted his mask before shaking his head. "Don't get cocky. It leads to failure. For you, this time, luck got you a win." He croaked before he turned and walked away, leaving Takahiro to stew in his own Pyrrhic victory and ill-begotten forehead protector. Alexander was just happy that he had done what needed to be done, maybe now Takahiro would find himself less cocky when he went into fights...

The proctor was indeed fast, but that didn't stop Takahiro. He continued chasing after Alexander, who would have to leave while Takahiro was held back. Unless that happened, he didn't care, Takahiro would have eyes filled with rage toward the boy, though his dojutsu would stop on its own as there was not enough chakra to facilitate it. Takahiro charged toward Alexander still, even though the proctor took him to the other side. Cocky? Please, Takahiro hadn't come in cocky, if anything he was just nervous and determined. He wasn't cocky in the least, he figured he could lose. This bitch boy didn't know what the fuck he was saying. Takahiro scooped the last of his kunai from the ground, the golden kunai, as he headed for Alexander. He would kill the boy for taking away the last bit of what he had of his clan. "I'll fucking kill you!" he would shout.

Alexander didn't even bother to look back, he knew that his opponent was coming but there was no point in even trying to avoid it or strike back. He didn't want to look bad and so he simply dropped his Mind Override, letting the aura sputter out around him. He took a deep breath, pausing for a moment before walking out of the door. Of course Takahiro would quickly get grabbed by the Proctor and pinned to the ground to prevent him from chasing after Alexander. Only after the bayonet wielding boy was gone would the proctor let Takahiro get up before sighing and handing him the forehead protector. "Well done, you have been promoted to Genin. Congratulations on your win." He said before walking out of the room. Of course he would watch Takahiro for a bit to make sure that he didn't try and kill Alexander but other than that, Takahiro was promoted to genin and that was that. Although he was down a few kunai.

Well done? Congratulations on his win? What a joke. Takahiro didn't win. If anything he lost. He looked down sullenly at the last kunai he had left. His father had given him those kunai when he had joined the academy, and now the only one he had left was the kunai that midas had turned gold. Takahiro would need to do some research into that Yoroi, as it was another person to add to his hit list. He would never forgive the boy for what he had done. If the boys goal was to crush Takahiro's confidence it did just the opposite, it gave him a desire for revenge. Takahiro would need to head back home to give the news to his mother and then rejoin his team as the chuunin exams were just days away. He was glad he made it in time, but he had some major training to do before then.
