Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realised with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura. Due to the samurai who created this style being wiped out by the shinobi during the Era of Warring States out of fear only the legendary tales of swordsmen capable of drawing and slicing an opponent in one moment were what was left and thus what was used to create Iaido. Battojutsu is more than that, or more specifically unlike Iaijutsu which allows one to master the art of unsheathing and sheathing one's blade Battojutsu allows one to incorporate multiple cuts after unsheathing. This is stressful on the body to preform quickly fatiguing those who are not skilled enough to refine their muscle memory and have not learned how to control their breathing precise enough to get the most out of each breath. Description: A modification of the Iai line of techniques which involves Xan specifically drawing his blade early rather than do it smoothly resulting in a loss of power in exchange for a boost in speed. Depending on his skill level the amount of techniques he is capable of doing this for varies however the thing that remains constant is that the technique loses 1-rank in damage dealt but gains 1-rank in the speed it is preformed at. This was done in response to opponents who had little to no resilience but were easily capable of dodging normal kenjutsu strikes. That was of course, unacceptable to Xan, and thus he refined the most basic principle of Iaido, the art of drawing a blade quickly, in order to counteract it. Subsequent Retraining only increases the speed at which the user may draw their blade at the same original cost of reducing the damage dealt by the strike. Description: Xan is the originator of the Geka Seido Fighting Style but before he could do so he had to first search for the origins of Iaido, unearthing the ancient Kenjutsu art of Batto. Unrefined Batto is applicable to any sort of Kenjutsu as it is simply the art of drawing a blade to initiate and attack in one fluid motion and to sheathe said blade in such a way that it seems as if the user hasn't unsheathed it at all while flicking any lingering blood away in the process. The speed of the draw is so quick that depending on the spacing it can outspeed incoming kenjutsu techniques to finish drawing to intercept them before they reach the individual. Likewise due to this speed draw it actually requires a Time-Slowing Dojutsu with Reaction Tiers (such as the Raidengan), Iai Prediction/Precognition + Muscle Tension, or reaction tiers above the user's speed to actually see the blade as it's being drawn. Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target, before immediately resheathing the blade afterwards. This technique is a powerful C-rank technique simply due to the speed in which it is preformed as it can slice a person moving at C-rank speed as if it was nothing. In addition when the user has speed tiers the damage is increased by 1-rank above the user's speed tiers, if they have reaction tiers above C-rank the speed of the opponent they can slice is increased to be equivalent with their reaction tiers. This allows them to predict the opponents movements when they are using close range weapons such as swords, knives, staffs etc. This technique is a set up for more powerful techniques using Iaido however it is also very useful in dodging. Users of this technique can predict the kenjutsu used by opponents from B-rank & below (Low, High & Elite) as long as they are within their Iaido range.

Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, and incorporating the enhanced prediction abilities of Muscle Tension, the user is able to anticipate, react and therefore deflect projectiles of equivalent speeds or below with a high speed slash. The number of projectiles deflected is based on their incoming speed, and as long as they aren't backed by strength he will be able to deflect a projectile away from himself making it an effective counter against ranged users. If they are backed by at least B-rank strength the deflected projectiles are scatted to the ground around the user. Description:Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target, before immediately resheathing the blade afterwards. User's of this technique are able to typically kill Small sized creatures hit with this attack (S-rank+ Physical Slicing Dmg). They are able to mortally wound Medium Sized creatures by being able to easily chop off body parts (S-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). Depending on the area hit they can mortally wound or seriously injure Large Sized creatures (A-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). Colosus sized creatures simply sustain heavy wounds (B-rank Physical Slicing Dmg). The reason for this is simply the slicing of air which forms a vacuum at Blinding Light speeds which slices over a large surface area. This vacuum simply bypasses defenses by screwing with the internal and external pressure put out by a living creature to inflict terrible damage.

Description: While engaging in Kenjutsu with an opponent the user instead of slashing the victim instead switches to the non-bladed side of their Uchigatana dealing blunt damage while simultaneously carrying the victim along with the slash up to 4ft. When used against another incoming physical strike, the user is capable of using the blunt side of their blade to divert the incoming strike away from his body while knocking a victim off balance unless they possess strength tiers to offset his two handed swing or are capable of fighting while off balance (A-rank balancing technique). This leaves a brief opening for the user to capitalize on allowing him to follow up with another Iaido based Kenjutsu technique with said victim being unable to dodge unless they are either not knocked off balance or are capable of fighting while off balance. Description: Utilizing the principles of Iaido the user preforms a technique within the same time of being attacked by a physical technique (Kenjutsu, Taijutsu, Shurikenjutsu etc) as long as the opponent is within the radius of the user's Iaido and doesn't halt their attack they receive a powerful counter slash to their body equal to the physical damage of the attack they attempted on the user. This technique has the drawback of leaving the user blatantly open for a counter attack if the opponent stops their attack and successfully dodges the high speed slash however it can be devastating if it lands. Furthermore the user can purposefully be struck by the opponents incoming attack in order to make sure their counter lands though such a use relies on their natural resiliency to survive lest they end up dying in the process. This technique is only possible thanks to the adrenaline pumping through the user's body allowing them to temporarily ignore fear &/or pain for that turn in order to deliver their attack unhindered by the possibility of death. Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to slice the air/water, before immediately sheathing the blade afterwards. This is a frightening technique which is limited to use by only the most skilled in the drawing art of Iaido. This technique forms a Vacuum at Ripping Discord Speed which literally rips apart S-rank and below chakra based techniques that get caught in its range. It is due to this feature that it is used to defend against powerful attacks however it can also be used as a powerful counter to opponents. When an opponent has a speed below their speed & reaction tier this technique can be used to mortally wound if not kill opponents that are within 5 feet of the opponent as the vacuum (S-rank Physical Damage) rips the bodies into two pieces if they lack Defense+Strength Tiers while bypassing defenses to still inflict the damage if they possess it albeit not cutting them in half (inflicts A-rank Bleed damage each P.T). However if the opponent made the mistake of being already read the post by Iai Prediction, Precognition, Premonition or Flash Precognition this technique can be used to force trigger the use of a get out of jail free-card.

Description: This technique stems from the amount of willpower people put into their blows, Cypher have learned to harness this willpower and translate it into a sort of an invisible physical aura which allows them to extend the range of their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu by 1 foot. Meaning if the blow seems like it didn't connect due to the opponent narrowly dodging it the blow will still hit them albeit at a 1-rank lower than the original damage simply due to the physical aura which envelops them in battle. This makes engaging in a physical battle with a Cypher a very high risk for amateurs in close ranged combat.
Name: Shunshin (Signature) Classification: Fighting Style Rank: B-rank (Recoil Price Varies) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Often mistaken as variant of the Shunpo technique though it was actually created before it by Kira Isley, it has long since faded out of use within the Isley Family mainly due to it being severe on the hips. Furthermore the distance that the user can cover is like wise inferior to Shunpo while the speed of the acceleration pales in comparison despite this technique being more difficult to master, however in the hands of a female this techniques true potential can be honed. Using this movement style the user enters a different stance semi-falling towards the ground while running forward using the momentum from falling to rapidly accelerate the speed of a slash and using that as a pull to drag their body forward at high speeds. This causes the user to damage their body, their hips in particular sustaining the brunt of the Physical Recoil Damage equal to one-rank below the speed that they are attempting to reach capping out at 1 A-rank of blood to move at S-rank speeds (if male) or Blinding Light speeds (if female) for that specific post. Despite the overwhelming cost, it is highly effective in dealing with threats that outspeed the user as in a single moment he/she can match their speed..and finish them. Description: Those who have dedicated their life to the True All Taijutsu arts, are expertly trained in reading others bodies. By doing this the user is capable of reading the slightest movements in one’s muscles allowing them to effectively predict one’s movements regarding taijutsu, kenjutsu, and Shurikenjutsu. This is made possible by the involuntary twitches in human bodies before preforming an action. Because the other two races are different once of one race one can not read another races physical movements accurately unless by retraining this technique and boosting it to S-rank after which to learn the movements of the last race it requires a final retraining. Once they are able to read physical movements they become able to "predict" the attacks of opponents that have lower speed tiers than them with the larger the gap between them the easier it is to predict the movements. On the other hand when referring to opponents with higher speed tiers they become able to adapt to fighting opponents with 1-rank higher speed tiers at least in fast combat physical attacks from the get go. With 1 retraining this jumps to 2-ranks above, while with the final retraining this jumps to 3-ranks above capping at Echoing Flash speeds.

Description: This trait is very useful as it relies on the user’s body ability to remember past experiences and adjust. This works exceptionally well against various things, if the user has survived being poisoned then their body will produce antibodies so that specific poison will no longer affect them, if the user makes it out of a genjutsu then they are able to break out of that specific genjutsu regardless of any genjutsu add-ons. This is a natural thing to all people but it can only be obtained by those who follow the all taijutsu fighting style and cannot even be copied by Ronin or Dojutsu unless said person is all taijutsu. This passive has a max threshold and while the body is very adaptive it is unable to adapt continuously. Description: A fully refined Swift Release. The wielder can move beyond god-like speed only showing their footsteps crashing against the ground. This move is said to only be used the second the wielder grips their hilt giving so they waste no time when they need to attack.

Description: This speed being the perfected version of Vacuum release. As the user is moving at speeds of Mach 3 the cloud of steam has been replaced with a sonic boom which temporarily deafens opponents causing their ears to bleed. The bright flash that is sometimes also seen is the light that is reflected off of the blade as the samurai is running.
