Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Empty
PostSubject: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime12th June 2016, 9:17 pm

It has been little over three weeks since Rebecca had returned home, with almost every moment of that time spent solely by her loves side. But readjusting to such a diluted life hasn't been all to easy, the concept of staying in one place was difficult enough without including the troubles of day to day life you simply don't encounter on the open sea. Nights were filled with bad dreams and restless sleep, while the days blurred together with the single focus of keeping a clear focus. Rebecca has been putting on a brave facade for Jasmine, knowing she'd been through the worst of it all, but still she couldn't help but lose herself every so often. Forgetting where she was, what shew was doing, forgetting that she was safe. Previously, land was always a dangerous territory, where everyone was the enemy, sometimes it still felt like that. Post traumatic stress the doctor said from her overly comfortable chair in the overly white room. As she explain the disorder, Bec zoned out, barely hearing a word. She knew what it meant, and she was positive this doctor was full of shit, its just temporary, it'll pass. At least they were the thoughts she was convincing herself of.

Leaving the office was all to bright, the sun causing Rebecca to cover her eyes for a moment and seek shade from the ferocious heat. Only yesterday Rebecca had announced her return home to the shogunate offices, and will soon be returning to work, formulating formulas and selling crap to crap eaters. They required her to attend a medical examination for whatever reason, as if she were some kind of solider or in a position of importance, hell, she wasn't even aligned with the shogunate...but as the man explained it, "You have too much influence over Jasmine Kukinorite to be allowed poor health". Whatever. Sitting on a bench in the shade, she reflected on the days events, taking a break from real life as she stared up into the one cloud in the sky.

PostSubject: Re: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime12th June 2016, 9:35 pm

Jazz was stalking observing someone, her memories clashed with the image of the person but the similarities were all there. She had heard around the grapevine that the other half of Jaseca, had returned to the Shogunate and immediately she had sought her only remaining true family out though she was hesitant to make contact until she was absolutely sure of the information. Thus she had spent the entire day hiding out and spying on a one Rebecca Toketsu, her Da, and following her around while remaining out of sight. It wasn't particularly difficult for a sensor of her caliber what between her appearance and her own skills at knowing when someone was around her she simply stayed within range yet out of range and eventually it had lead to this. The person of interest sitting down on a bench and relaxing with no sign of her "mother" in sight, the perfect opportunity to talk to her Da without any interruptions.

Jazz would teleport materializing next to Rebecca with one leg crossed under the other which would dangle in the air as her feet were still too short to touch the floor when she sat somewhere. Initially she would look forward as if her sudden manifestation wasn't anything out of the ordinary but upon Rebecca noticing her she would speak. "Your back, I thought it odd you weren't here when I finally got back to the Shogunate. You look older than the last time I saw you, what 4 years and change?" Jazz said in a somewhat detached monotone still not looking at Rebecca before turning and smiling with genuine happiness. "I missed you, Da." she said if only to see her reaction, she knew that both her and her mother were trying to keep tabs on her. Just like she was keeping tabs on them, after all even though she had expressed disinterest in Uroko it was obvious someone like him would go to the best blacksmith in the Shogunate. She had done so purposefully so that her presence would end up being noted, after all if she had remained unknown for 3 years when her mother was connected almost all of the Blades on a first name basis then how would her cover be blown by some recently graduated Pilus.

PostSubject: Re: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime12th June 2016, 10:38 pm

Although she seemed at peace, calm and collected, staring off into the distant sky with an eased face, reality would not have it so. She was zoned out, reliving the dark cell of her chambers, the sound of cannon fire ringing in her ears, the cloud she looked at taking the shape of an enemy ship...From the corner of her eye, a flicker, a person appearing. An enemy. Speaking. Slowly, carefully, she reached down her side, the words being heard yet not registered, not sinking in. Slowly, quietly reaching for the dagger at her hip, the dagger which had need been on her belt for even a moment since her return. She was defenseless. The pressure began to build and Rebecca prepared to fight fist against blade, a rush of cold flushing its way into her head. The moment before she would make her lunge, the word was said..."Da." Like a flood all those sounds began to make sense, her memory recalling what this 'enemy' was saying, recalling where she was, how she got here, recalling that she was safe. Her head to turn to the side with a mixture of shock and shame, a tear welling from the corner of her eye, but freezing in place almost immediately. "J...Jazz?"

After about three solid seconds of silence, Rebecca would make that lunge she planned earlier, though instead of attacking, she gripped her child in an iron hug. Refusing to let go. "Jazz! I've missed you so much!" Finally releasing, Bec would push back to get a proper look at the girl. "Look how beautiful you are, you've grown so much." Its hard to imagine she's really here, is she really here? She's definitely here. "I'm so happy you're here, but why are you here? Are you in trouble? I heard you were a jonin now? UGH I missed you gorgeous!" Jazz was back in a hug once more, she had no choice in the matter, Da commands it. Honestly, Rebecca hasn't been this excited since...i can't remember to be honest, but I'm assuming its been many many years.

"I don't like hugs but I'll make an exception for you." Jazz said in a muffled voice as she was quickly pulled into a hug the air flow cut off by Rebecca's chest. She would refrain the desire to flail and merely remain in her embrace content until she was once more released only to be bombarded with questions. "I like my appearance as well, I just wish I would grow faster being small is inconvenient especially when at first glance no one takes you serious even though your a Doctorial Primus. I came back primarily to see you, I needed to be near my family. You." she said shifting so that the next time she was pulled into a hug she wouldn't be unable to breathe even though she wouldn't hug back she made no effort to leave and would rest in her parents bosom fully relaxed for once. "I'm an ambassador from the ASN officially at least, it is why I can be here and not be in trouble. I've been here for quite sometime actually but I just got word that you've been back so I decided to see you right away. I'm staying at the Ningyo compound, I'm engaged. It's a political thing all for fostering connections between the ASN and the Shogunate, he's older than me but it's not like I have to lay in his bed until I at least hit puberty so there is that." she said idly not really bothered by it, she wasn't attracted to him in anyway one because he was human two because he was a Ningyo.

She would tap Rebecca's hand where she was being hugged just to get her attention before continuing as she knew her Da was probably shocked at the admission. "You don't look well, something has happened since I was gone that much I can infer. Still we need to catch up, though I would prefer a less public venue." she would frown before reaching up and touching Rebecca's face and looking her over with a medical eye before deciding a change of location would be better for them to properly catch up.

Don't like hugs? Geez, what did they do to that girl over there? Then again, before Jasmine, Rebecca hated hugs as well, so it makes sense. Like father like daughter, or whatever. "Don't be in a rush to grow up Jazz. No matter what stage you're at, you can always use it to your advantage. But of course you knew that didn't you my little genius." But then again, she was to be wedded. Though it wouldn't show, this infuriated Rebecca. Her little baby wasn't even five yet, and her clan was pushing her into the arm of some horny teenager. But naturally, there was always something that could be done. "You know, there isn't much money can't do in this world Jazz. Just tell me and I can change just about anything, even a wedding arrangement. Though that would be hard to do with the whole alliance thing, not that I couldn't, its just gonna take awhile." Or she could just have the husband assassinated, but one must not speak about that, plus it could lead to a whole big anti-alliance act which wouldn't be good for Jazz at all...but then again it would be great for business.

"But yeah, you're right, a lot has happened and changed since you were with us last. I know a place just down the road with a secure backroom if you'd like to talk there? They'll let us in cause I used to sell Dru...Drums there." Good cover up Bec. Very good indeed. Not that she wouldn't remember you make illegal narcotics back when she was a babe with that hyper brain of hers, but at least you didn't say it out loud. We can both pretend Becca is a good Da and Jazz is a little angel. "You owe me a lot of stories as well, about the ASN and what you've been up to. I wanna hear everything about you Jazz...from you this time."

"I'm not, I'd prefer to stay young it's merely the subject of appearance that has been frustrated. Besides the older I get the less time I have to discover your fruitful Drum trade. Jazz would laugh, actually laugh not her usual snicker or chuckle nor was it forced but it was an actual laugh though it would quickly end and Jazz would lean forward before standing up and turning so she could take Rebecca's hand. "Lead the way, but you don't have to worry about the engagement. Besides I was the one who wanted it in the first place but we can talk about my engagement somewhere else. Besides the only things that money can't do information can, and I'd prefer my information, no our information be exchanged between just us. Jazz said once they began walking with her staying close to Rebecca actually slowing her brisk pace so she could match the person she was walking with. "Hm what can I tell you in the open, let's see. Ah I'm a Doctorial Primus, fighting in the pits was tedious even if I did have help, but worth it as I wouldn't be respected if I didn't earn my rank the Shogunate way. I lead the Alpha Platoon, comprised of Unit I & Unit II. I do believe you've met one of the Pilus in my Platoon right? she said looking upward with a smirk before continuing on.

"I'm surprised you knew about my jonin promotion though I guess it's natural due to my age and probably my bingo book entry. I'm considering going back into the pits though, it's about time that I get to S-rank, I've spent enough time building connections as is. Especially now that I've seen you I don't have to delay it any longer." Jazz said deliberately being vague so that anyone listening in would only think she were referring to the pits fight and her ranking up when that was not the case in the slightest.

PostSubject: Re: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime13th June 2016, 1:03 am

I suppose Jazz would have parts of her life which will need to remain secret, and prying ears can do quite a lot of damage in many cases. Becca on the other hand, no longer cared for reputation or secrets, at least not her own. Everyone could know anything about her and it wouldn't matter in the slightest, as she's reached a level above the reproach of anyone beyond those she lets. Or at least that how i like to pretend it's like, others rarely see it that way since they're all stupid and narrow. Standing, Becca would take Jazz's hand before leading her to the backroom area. "So you fought the pits. Personally I think its pretty dumb and a waste of resources, but I do respect the skill victors show, and I'm very proud of you of course. its good that you're adapting for the purpose of negotiating and what not. Its the fundamentals of a good businesswoman. Speaking of which...Stay out of the drum trade, its never worth it gorgeous." Of course Jazz also mentioned a bunch of other stuff that i as the narrator simply do not understand, but Becca does...

"Ah yes. I did meet a nice young man who spoke highly of you. We sorta interrogated the shit out of him...I mean the shiz out of him. But of course i knew about your promotion long before that. It was a big thing, the youngest ever Jonin...Ah i couldn't be prouder." If only she was a merchant like her Da and not a shinobi, oh how rich she would be, such a waste of geniusness on simple clan fighting horseshit. Which reminds me, I still need to destroy the Kukinorite eventually..."Just in here Jazz, we'll go in through the back." She'd say, knocking on a random door, before it was opened, they were welcomed, and she escorted her little baby through the corridors and into a secure little spot for just the two of them, no one else in sight or hearing range. AKA, Illegal deal negotiating spot Number 1 in the Shogunate.

Jazz agreed in regards to the idiocy of the pits but, as for the wasted resources, the bodies she gathered from her trials would not go to waste. She would snicker when Rebecca mentioned the "drum" trade, and would nod she had no interest in creating drugs, poisons on the other hand well if her Da was a chemist then she'd like to think she was one as well. Except rather than create things to sell to people who wanted to get high, she created things to kill people with, and sold things to store things inside. When they finally got to the secure location Jazz would walk around inspecting it before slipping out three tags from her pocket and quartering off the area in a Three Seal Barrier to further secure it. "Well I'm sure you've noticed but, I'm me. I'm sure mother didn't inform you of what grandmother did to me, quite successfully I might add if not for the fluke of my battle with my ex squad member Ka I would not be in control of my body right now. But I am, with memories which aren't my own to boot and once I convince mother to help me create my Regalia I'm going to take a trip back to the ASN beat grandmother within an inch of her life and take control of my birthright. Jazz said sitting down with her legs bent and she would hug them close to her body.

"I'd say life has been peachy since I got sent to the ASN but we both know that's a lie. Being a shinobi was fun though, being a soldier is much more boring it's far more peaceful here than on the Origin Continent. Let's see, well before things turned upside down I was assigned to Squad 7, under Roxas Kukinorite you know mothers cousin. He was a total swear word, never around didn't really get the whole children bonding thing and was rather ineffectual with the whole emotion thing but now on hindsight he was trying his best to push me away from Lynx. My squad mates, Ka Jiko and Ada Verin were interesting probably the only good thing to come from my trip even if the former is now a rouge who joined Pandora and the latter is super creepy and will probably end up the Head of the Torture and Interrogation department in Dipu. she said making a so-so gesture with her right hand before continuing on. I've honestly spent more time here than in the ASN, been back for what...3 years now? Settling in fostering connections building an information network, making money selling modified storage scrolls so I can build better puppets, getting engaged you know the works.

"I had no idea what they were doing to you. Though I figured something went wrong when they started intercepting my letters...So naturally I started sending hate mail instead." Ah the good old days, "I will end you" "Fuck you you stupid fucking shebitch of a clan" Honestly, they were definitely the bigger person in the situation considering they didn't take any reverse action. "If I had my way, I'd destroy her reputation first and humiliate her..then end it entirely, but this is your clan and your decisions. I'll support every choice you make Jazz. With you in the right position, I'm sure they will be better then ever." Plan to destroy the Kukinorite - Terminated. "But your mother won't need convincing, she'd work on your Regalia without even thinking about it. She really misses you too Jazz." Although a Jonin, it was clear to see that she spoke of her mother with distaste. Either something had happened while she was gone, or Jazz was still upset about the circumstances of her birth. Understandable. Rebecca would cross one leg over the other as she leaned back into the chair, listening and absorbing her baby's story.

"Roxas was the one that...that took you away I believe. But your squad mates at least sound like an interesting couple. I wouldn't exactly say he'll be fine in Pandora though, it's a hell of a place. And the other one..." Flashbacks and a quick zone out...Becca went blank just for a moment or two before she began thinking about how the girl would compare to her own torturer. "Just...Interesting. I wish I'd been able to get back here sooner, even more now that I know you would've been here. But good girl, working the scene and taking charge, just like I always knew you would." The concept of an information network was intriguing, and she wondered how it would rival that of...'his' network. If only he weren't so hell bent on being neutral, then maybe he could have helped Jazz in that endeavor. Emotionless prick. "Hmm, I might be interested in buying some of these storage scroll of your by the way. After all, I'll need somewhere to put my goods when I kick off my chemical science again."

Jazz would narrow her eyes once more raising her opinion of her Da while lowering that of her mother, truly she wanted to vent and scream about the injustice that had happened to her. About how she trusted them and they betrayed her, Jasmine using her as a sacrifice to enjoy her freedom and Lynx conditioning her into an emotionless puppet and then had the nerve to rape her mind and replace her memories with that of another so that her body was merely a vessel. About how right before she could remember everything with startling clarity how terrified she was knowing what was going to happen and the pain, the terrible pain because the anesthetics didn't work on her so she could feel them cutting into her head and wiping her brain clean. Instead her eyes would return to their normal level so quick that it only looked like Jazz's eyes at twitched at the mention of Jasmine missing her. "Really, I will have to set a time out of my busy schedule to meet with her as well, show her how much I've missed her like I have with you." Jazz said this one was also genuine but less warm as she did await her encounter with her mother as Lynx wasn't the only one she wanted to beat within an inch of their life.

"Indeed I worry about him, which is why I have an agent of mind in Pandora at the moment, building my information network there so I can keep tabs on him. Truthfully I have one everywhere, that is except for Epsilon, but I'll find a solution for their anti-shinobi presence soon enough it just means I have to adapt accordingly." she said before Rebecca's comment about her storage scrolls would prompt her to clap her hands in excitement. "Wonderful, I have been gathering start up money on my own, I just do not have the contacts in the Merchant world to hire the necessary scholars and merchants to really get my business into the mass production line. I want to start with scrolls and then move into selling poisons as well I have you to thank for my interest in chemistry but I prefer poisons to drums Da, always have always will. she said before turning and then focusing her attention on Rebecca and reaching out wordlessly asking to be picked up. "Tell me, what's up with you? And why the mental counselling, If it's something you need fixed I can help maybe?

PostSubject: Re: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime13th June 2016, 8:18 pm

Rebecca obviously noticed the flicker sign Jazz gave out. She was good at hiding her emotions, far too good to have lived a happy life at least, but against Rebecca's trained eye, nothing escaped her notice. (Post technique name here that I cannot be bothered fetching for CD. <3) On one hand, Becca wanted to pursue this further, and do her best to straighten things out between the two of them as soon as possible, but on the other, she didn't want to make their reunion into a negative debate about Jasmine. That was a conversation for another time, one which can be better had after Rebecca knew her daughter better. A saying for the ages I suppose. How many positive family experiences could she have possibly had? Family is suppose to be something one can rely on no matter what, of course Becca wasn't talking about her father or extended family, but her mother...her mother was everything while she was growing up, and her brother was one of the best friends she'd ever had, he dropped everything every time she needed him for something. If only she was able to save him, but she didn't have the strength back then, and she doesn't have the strength for it now, not anymore. Once again, she began to reminisce of a time before her return, back in her prime period of power, though this time it was a thought brought on willingly.

"Be careful with how you interact with Epsilon. Although many see them as weak, and nothing but simple civilians, they are easily the real power in the Land of Beginnings. Believe me when I say they have an information network that far out trumps your own. Just...Just promise you won't do anything reckless, okay?" Damn Epsilon. It was definitely a love hate relationship with Rebecca, while she rules the financial industry here, over there she is like a deer in the headlights. Shinobi will always underestimate the influence of civilians, regardless of how intelligent they are. "As for your friend in Pandora, I have a contact over there, we belonged to the same ship at different times...But we still share a certain bond I suppose. You can get off the boat, but you never really leave the crew. Anyway, I can have him keep an eye on your boy if you like?" Maybe her little angel has a crush on this one? "But I am happy to hear you're going in business despite being a shinobi, there is no reason why someone can't be both a successful business woman, as well as a powerful warrior. Something i wish i knew a long time ago. So poison, huh? I knew people who'd be interested in both your products if you ever need the contacts. All you need to do is ask. If I can't at least share that much with you, then my wealth doesn't mean anything." Oh and the 'drum' industry...well lets just say Rebecca will be taking a break from that for awhile, moving into a more...useful line of creations.

"My health is fine. I was sort of forced to undergo a health assessment. A few bones which didn't heal properly, one or two scars, slight head trauma is probably the worst of it, but beyond that, its all pretty good, so they say. Mentally I'm all fine as well, so you don't need to worry about me. I've just been having some trouble with adapting back into this kind of life, but I can handle it. I am...was a Sea Bandit. I'm not exactly proud to tell you that, but I feel like you have the right to know where I've been for the past few years. I suppose at one point I may have been a mission for the ASN...Gotta say I'm glad you never had to see me like that." May have...Or definitely was. You can only pillage a factions small shore villages so many times before they put a bounty on your head. Guess its a good thing Rika had all the money she needed to pay off her own bounty. "Ah but don't worry, I'm no threat to anyone anymore. I took a bad blow a few months ago, lost all my muscle memory and damaged my chakra nerve system."

"Oh I know, they'll be my main competitors in terms of information. I'll becareful, puppeteers are a paranoid bunch but either way I'm content with them being the face, all I have to do it piggy back on the ground work they have already built and pull the strings from behind. If anything I know just how dangerous civilians can be, after all you and mother have complete control over the Shogunate Economy whereas they rule the Origin Continent's financial sector. The only in I have is through Pandora and of course the Polar Continent and I am no opposed to ensuring that particular market as well as the information flow in Pandora remains firmly under my control, regardless of the methods." Jazz said agreeing with her Da's statement after all she unlike most shinobi had been raised even if it was for a moment by Civilians. Not just any run of the mill civilians but rich, influential, economically power civilians so she knew exactly how much power they wielded over today's society, likewise she had been raised as the heir to a clan and she knew the ins and outs of clan politics which coupled with her time as a shinobi well she had a unique perspective on things.

Information, was power in a way that money could never be, and Jazz being the person that she was saw it as part of the thing she needed to master to become a master puppeteer. No one, no group, no guild, no faction, no continent was going to get in the way of her dream no matter how many bodies she had to rack up to make it possible. No matter how long it took to achieve said goal, after all very soon she would no longer have to worry about dying of old age and if everything went correctly she would be too much of a recluse to worry about dying from combat. Especially since her skill set would make only the most powerful opponents be a threat to her life but they would be too busy killing themselves to worry about her. War was just another form of puppetry, it was why Susanoo was the Deity of both war and technology, conflict and strife breed innovation and technological advances. "I would like that, I will be keeping a close eye on him personally because he's an idiot and will probably end up getting himself killed, but additional help would be most welcome Da. As for the poison making yes I will fully intend to take you up on that offer I have a couple more I need to make before I'm ready to begin that." she said and then would listen carefully when Rebecca began to talk about why she was seeing medics causing her to frown briefly.

"As long as you are better and whoever that got you into such a thing is dead. Odd as it is but you and mother aren't meant for that sort of life, I know that is a tad hypocritical coming from me seeing as I'm your daughter. Still, I won't lie it brings me some relief, knowing that you have a criminal past that isn't well, purely civilian in nature. Da, I will be making a move soon, sometime after I become head of the Kukinorite Clan. It will...most likely paint me in a very bad light and might put you and...mother in danger so I need you to be prepared to move if possible. Not with me it would be...much to dangerous for you and no doubt I will most likely be hunted by all sorts of people but regardless a move to somewhere safer maybe Eden? Somewhere not in Sheol, in particular not near the residential district perhaps."

"No one is meant for that sort of life Jazz. Its not lifestyle people desire, nor is it one they choose. I, much like most of them, were forced into it, you join or you die and I wasn't ready to quit. Yet strangely, despite everything I had to go through, I miss it. But my place is here now, back with my family, the family I chose not the one I was given. It doesn't matter what you do or who you become Jazz, I'll always pick your side regardless. But no matter what, you'll never need to worry about me, that's my job not yours. You let me do the worrying and you do whatever it is you need to do. Trust me, I can handle whatever threat comes for your mother and I, just...make sure you don't disappear forever yeah? I still want to see you whenever I can." Leaving Sheol is already on Becca's to do list, fucking shogunate. She hates these morons with their stupid empirical system of everything. Honestly, If Jasmine wasn't so fragile, she'd most likely head up to Futility or Glaciers, maybe even try reuniting with her clan. I mean after all, an army of sell sword assassins is always nice to have at your back.

"Now money can't do everything, we both know that much, but it can do quite a lot. If you ever need help...disappearing, well, I can make that happen if you ever need it. Just between you and I, I have at least two aliases for every faction and safe houses in just about every major block across here and the homeland." Well, not OOC yet, but I will, and they will all have uses. Honestly, I'm considering just straight up passing on Tumu's dets to Jazz, but I may be changing my plans for him so I don't know...In any case. "But you know, if you ever need some money or power backing, just let me know, I can arrange either for you. At this rate I may as well just buy out Sheol from under the Shogun's nose, its not like he'd notice anytime soon, then who knows, I could probably just sell the whole system to the Kukinorite for 100 xel." She was joking of course, As evident by the grin on her face. Not that this is part of a real plan or anything...*suspicious laughing*

Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec)   Reunited at Last (Jazz, Bec) Icon_minitime10th September 2016, 11:00 pm

"I know, you have always had my best interests at heart and have never betrayed me unlike some other people we mutually know. it is why I love you the most, Da." Jazz said with a soft smile, before she shook her head. "I shouldn't have a problem with that part, disappearing that is truthfully the only reason I haven't done it already is because I was looking for the individual who comprises the other part of my DNA as minuscule as that is. I don't suppose you know where Kyoshiro Kurogane is do you? If you do, it would be a great help after all he's the only one who can give me a hope of living past 2 more decades without resorting to...drastic measures." Jazz said her smile turning into a frown before shrugging, if she couldn't find him she wouldn't distress too much as she had no problems with turning herself into a human puppet eventually she just wished to know if there were other options, dying in twenty years of old age wasn't exactly the easiest of time-limits to achieve her ambition.

"But, that's something to worry about later. Still, it's been a while and now that business is out of the way, I am free for the whole day to do anything you want. Except return to the house to spend time with mother, that particular reunion is something I wish to do on my own. I need to have...words with her in a one on one setting."

Kyoshiro...She had heard the name, but besides that, Rebecca didn't know much about him. Jasmine rocked up pregnant, she wasn't exactly a part of the process nor did she want to be at the time. "Pretty sure the guy was a Blade, or something like that. Lab up in the hill, I think. Better off asking the shogun offices or your mother about him." Drastic measures was a line that weighed a little to heavy as well. Obviously in this day and age, there are many ways to prolong ones life, look at Pandora for instance. Thats about one hundred different forms of immortality just there, but every upside has a flip side. "...and you do what you need to do, Jazz. Just remember that a living body isn't worth shit without a living mind. Don't forget who you really are in the process." Bec was about to conclude the renuinon business side when suddenly one last point popped into her head. "Oh, and your mother is very fragile these days. You may not like her, but I still do, so don't break her please."

With a clap oh her hands, business was concluded. Now onto whatever it is that might be fun or whatever. "Now, what to do...what to do...I'll be honest with you Jazz, i'm still pretty new to being a civilian again. Downtime is a little foreign to me at the moment...What do you wanna do? Lets be productive."

"Oh I mainly want to preserve my mind if possible Da, bodies especially for one in my specialty can easily be replaced, or improved on but the mind in addition to the soul are both something to be coveted as they aren't capable of being replaced." Jazz said in response to Becca's warning putting Kyoshiro into the back of her mind, she would find him when she was able hopefully sometime in the near future. As for Becca's comment about her mother, she wouldn't break her...permanently at least though the point about her being fragile did irk her as she couldn't believe she came from such a weak willed person. To think she still was the Pledge Queen of the Kukinorite Clan with such an attitude actually sickened her to her core, though she was sure it was just remnants of Styx's personality traits that she hadn't managed to fully repress just yet. "Honestly, I have the most fun brewing new poisons and coming up with new concepts for puppets. I actually have been working on a quite interesting design for my next set actually. Nor am I lacking on raw materials this time fortunately, I just haven't had the proper work space to actually create them. But my fiancé has said that he will be able to find a place within his clan which I won't get any disturbances during their creation in a couple of days so I suppose that just leaves the first thing. Unless you have any ideas, like doing something more normal?"[/color]

"Good, good!" She'd say upon hearing her young daughters resolve. Keeping the mind in place, a pretty good tactic when looking for ways to extend your life. Jazz continued to delve into her interests, which filled Becca with an abundance of joy. A girl after her own heart. Poisons and chemistry, hell its a wonder they aren't actually related. Once again though, she bought up that dreadful reminder that ticked the 'pissed off' switch in the back of the mind once again. The fucking fiancé. Her little girl hasn't even reached double digits yet, and she was engaged to be married politically. God damn these clans, damn them all to hell. "I'm exactly sure how amazing your memory was, but I've got a pretty damn big lab back home. And another underground one... We could go to one of those if you want. Who knows, maybe I might even be able to help you out with your formulas. 'Poisons' are my specialty after all." Might even go both ways, Rebecca has got whiteboards all over the place trying to crack the genetic codes of poison resistant races with the hopes of finally getting them high. "As far as I'm concerned, chemistry is as normal as a day can get. What whatever you fiancé...er...fancy." Fucking fiancé's.
