Roxas bit his lip as he flew high above the desert savannah. It was he twilight hour, where the sun was just rising above the horizon. It was also pretty windy out, Roxas would have to be careful about his mirage techniques. What a pain. Bugs... Why did it have to be a shinto? Roxas would sigh before focusing, using the dim kysky as cover as he scanned the ground from above for any sign of the reaper or the unique shinto bugs.

Vela was always on guard, it came with being a missing-nin, however tonight seemed rather foreboding there wasn't a single soul in sight. However, she didn't have time to waste she had heard that most everyone had cleared out of Haka, and it was time for her to capitalize on this to find any information she could and loot the place while she was at it. "Hmm such a boring place...." she shrugged as he kept moving forward.

The wind was blowing and right now was the perfect time to move around since she would more than likely be stuck unless.... she .... got..... lucky..... And look at that she did, she actually ran across an oasis that hadnt been mapped yet, perfect if she waited here till night fall she could move in the cool air rather than the water sapping heat of the day.

Roxas skated around the sky for quite awhile before he finally saw a humanoid movement near an oasis. He focused on it and smiled, "target locked." Roxas was still quite high in the air, a mere speck to the orange sky. As he watched her make her way to the oasis he pulled put three kunai, one between each finger besides between his thumb and index. Hewould wait for her to come to a slow halt at it before tossing all six shuriken at her, the shuriken traveling at blinding light speed but back with c rank strength. Even though the distance was far he was positive the target would be successful. One to each leg, shoulder and two to chest.

Vela, having S rank strength she quickly pushed back an inch or two out of the way just letting the projectiles pass by where she was. "Oh lookie here we have a new play toy.... i thought haka was empty. Using her SS strength she pushed forward at surprising speeds towards the speck in the sky already arming herself to launch into the air. Three... two.... one her legs clenched in and extended once she leaped into the air at an alarming rate. "Come here mister hunter!" Vela readied her swords as he was flying directly at Roxas with a smile. "I don't bite..... much"

Roxas watched as she launched herself at ripping discord speeds, leaving a crater in her wake showing that it was pure strength she was utilizing. From her reactions it was easy to guess what styles she used. With the distance between them Roxas had plenty of time to draw his sword from its sheath. "Stupid Reaper," he would say as she came at him with blades drawn. "Sorry to say but... I bite, a lot," he would say. Her path was straight forward, blades drawn. His eyes focused on her and observed her movements. This match may be decided in one draw. His finally charged toward her at blinding light, preparing to collide and when they were within five fwet of each other he struck, swinging his sword straight down from above at ripping discord speeds,leaving a vacuum in its wake. However, he had predicted her movements with his Iai Precognition and would aim where her blades guard was weakest, attempting to.slice her in two in one go.

Well what do you know, you wander through Graves and find a fight going on. Now most people would expect a fight to be happening on the ground where all the flashy effects would be muted by the scenery. Nope, this battle was happening in midair and it wasn't very flashy which was just annoying. Arikiko frowned as he looked up into the sky, sun at his back so he wouldn't be blinded. He could barely make out who was fighting though, although that was barely which was always amusing because he could just make out some kind of sword user and another person with a sword... So many people used swords. Although his eyes told him what each weapon done... So that should probably be posted later on and whatnot, not that it mattered. "Hey... Chromia... You think I can hit her from here?" He muttered to himself and received only a sigh in response.

Well it would appear that Chomia didn't believe he could hit her from where he was so it was time to prove her wrong. Unsheathing Morghul in his Buka form, he flicked his wrist, causing the katana to become a gargantuan axe. Getting into a golf-swing position Arikiko rolled his shoulders and looked into the sky, shading his eyes with a hand. He then nodded, Morghul turning translucent and gaining a blood-red invisible blade aura. He then swung the weapon twice, causing a pair of entirely invisible to normal sight arcs of energy to leap forwards towards the Reaper aiming to strike her in the back and moving at Blinding Light speeds. Both of these if they struck would deal S-Rank physical+spiritual damage.

She smirked as he cam charging at her now. Perfect all in a days work, quickly she pulled out her crossbow which was bladed and the odd part was the crossbow had a cord on it. Vela aimed the bow up at Roxas and then rotated her body so her feet were on the butt of the bow. It took all but a few moments for her to use gatling shot at Roxas, but she used her strength as if she were pushing off the crossbow to head back down to the ground creating a crater where she landed the crossbow swinging by her hip connected to the cord and her swords ready to take Roxas on, both swords had their specials activated so now she had a shield and six foot sword of fire. "Come get it baby" she would grin as she was poised ready to fight.

Vela had noticed the new guy on the field one of the ninja's buddies? who knew all she knew was she had gotten lucky because when she shot back down she could feel the rush of wind just barely pass her by. "Really ladies two on one?"

Roxas's smile dropped as she changed directions. How annoying. Instead of dodging he sliced his sword through the air, using the vacuum as a defense to rip through all the arrows. Afterwards he would jerk back twenty feet, using his wind sensory to notice the invisible attack coming at him. How annoying again, but this second feeling was familiar. He would look down toward Arikiko as he dropped down, now if that wasnt a familiar sight. As he touched down he would transfer to Gaia Road to keep an eye on both. "Is running all you can do?" He would ask the girl. As he did he would tap the black arm on his left side. Suddenly it would burst across his body forming the Apocalypse Armor. He sheathed kyoki and pulled a black short staff from his back. Suddenly it transformed into the black jagged greatsword. lava began seeping from the skates he wore. "You like playing with fire? Then i shall show you the power of the King of the Volcanic Road."

Ah phooey both of them dodged, he was hoping to see a little blood fly but eh, it happened. Now that they were both on the ground it was going to get a lot flashier and a lot more fun although he finally recognised the other person that was fighting in midair, one of his old friends... Roxas! As soon as he realised this he felt the darkness within his mind try to lurch forwards and take control. He managed to push it back though and take a deep breath, reaching up to rub the top of his head. "Hello there Roxas, it's been quite a while and I must say that you are looking rather splendiferous this fine day! Your new title suits you magnificently! I also must apologise for our last meeting, those many, many moons ago." He gave a low sweeping bow after planting Morghul into the ground like a staff.

With that introduction out of the way he turned and looked at Vela Shinto, scanning his eyes down over her body an giving a low whistle and a chuckle. "Well my my, you look fantastic don't you my darling? I'm afraid I won't be participating in this combat, I'm going to sit back, relax and enjoy the shiny effects as they happen." He winked at her and stretched upwards before sitting down on the ground, resting back on his palms and smiling, humming out a soft tune.

PIG! what a complete pig! She wanted to rip this arrogant prick's throat out and feed it to him. Unfortunately, she first had to deal with Roxas... wait Roxas? One of the six leaders of the shinobi nations.....This wasn't looking too good not to mention he also broke out his rather infamous armor as well. She took a deep breath and relaxed before looking over the current plan she smiled to her self, before pulling out three kunai and throwing them with SS rank strength at Roxas then charged in right behind them already prepared to fight him or them both possibly.

I never run.... she thought... they are just tactical withdrawals....

Roxas yawned, the girl was fast but it was merely strength. Her targets were predictable. Without even batting an eye Roxas swung his Apocalypse Blade in an arc behind him at SS speeds, using Iai Divising to split her in two from the waist. Because of her moving using strength shed be hard pressed to change her direction, and so there was no doubt in his mind that he would hit the mark. Meanwhile at the same time a burst of heat emitted around him in the form of a barrier. As soon as the projectiles came in contact with them they would melt into a pile of liquid metal which posed no risk to Roxas.

Vela unfortunately was a slight bit surprised as to the speed of her hunter, even more so while he was in that huge suit of armor. How and why? she had been out of touch with a lot of her training which is a surprise for her. She started to ready magnetic push as she saw the slight movement of her hunter moving to swing unfortunately she was a little slower than she should have been and the blade bit a good ways into her side before she pushed everyone away from her. "Fuck..." she stood there panting softly as she looked up then back down at her side. This wasn't looking good if she didn't finish this fight soon she would be dead.... she needed a healer. Before that she pulled her crossbow out and shot a handful of white chakra bolts all around the floor of Roxas before letting them loose to do what they needed. The ground then ruptured releasing a large vortex comprised of thousands of dart sized chakra arrows moving at Blinding Light speeds.

As the explosive force came out it would have normally knocked anyone away, however this was in vain. As she figured her technique worked and stopped to check her wound and draw her crossbow, Roxas was still standing, his body firm. "That tickled," he said, having utilized his c rank strength to withstand the pressure from the attack. Within seconds he would utilize her movements as an opening and strike with iai dividing once again, this time to rip her from head to toe.

Although she was now dead her body moved due to not having registering she was dead yet and the fact her heart was currently pumping. her hand weakly went to slice at Roxas before she fell back dead.

When the girl's body flopped onto the ground, a slow, loud clapping sound echoed around the now silent battlefield. Arikiko was the one clapping still sitting down on the ground although about ten feet away from where he originally was. The dust was blasted around him and there was a dent in the ground where he had stopped himself, the earth around him slightly scorched from the Mind Override that he had activated to give him the strength to entirely mitigate the knockback force. With a roll backwards onto his hand he pushed off and landed on his feet. A few quick swipes with his hands dusted down his body and left him looking clean enough to eat... Or was that the right saying? It didn't matter.

"Well done my boy, that was some fantastic fighting there, I was quite impressed." He grinned at Roxas and walked over, flicking Morghul into his katana form and then gently kicking Vela's body before sighing quietly. "She was a pretty one too, oh well. If your weapon isn't going to eat hers by the way can I have it?" He raised an eyebrow and pointed Morghul towards the pair of swords that she was carrying. "Or at least can I get the crossbow?"

Roxas raised an eyebrow toward Arikiko and then began rummaging the body, checking pockets. His body reverted to normal, well the armor and blade did. He frowned a bit before pulling two things from her. One was a heavy ourse and the other was a round glowing piece of metal. "Sorry. My prey, though i guess you can take the crossbow. Either way, didnt you try to kill me last we met two.years ago?" He asked as he bent down, Tekio sprouting out and absorbing the blade. He then reached out for the scythe she carried, putting it next to the other on his back. One might wonder why he carried the weapons rather than absorb them. Then, finally, Tekio formed a mouth and snapped at something they could not see before returning to tje body.

"Ah, I can understand that well enough, you are quite right, it was your prey." Arikiko waved his hand and then looked between his katana and his left hand before flicking his wrist. A wire shot out of his palm and stabbed straight through the crossbow, the weapon suddenly vanishing as it was absorbed into Chromia. A soft voice then sang out from his left arm, female and musical in nature. "You do realise that I can't shoot anything unless you take ammo or start making some kind of specialist ammunition for such a thing?" She asked and Arikiko just nodded before looking up at Roxas, eyes wide. "Two years ago... Oh yes, the meeting I was talking about. That was at Shigakure wasn't it? Such a shame it has fallen into the hands of Pandora, it was a beautiful place, last I saw of it... Well I can't actually remember. Oh never mind. I do have something to correct you on however, it wasn't me that tried to kill you."

A grin hit his features and he stabbed Morghul down through Vela's head, sinking the weapon into the ground. "It was this fine fellow here, Morghul. He does have a human form but I'm not letting him out, he'll try and attack you and I can't be having that. I do apologise for what he done though but I have a little guardian angel to keep me in check." He patted his left forearm with his right hand. "Chromia here keeps me as close on the straight and narrow as she can although I do enjoy killing people... So, Roxas, talk to me, tell me all that's happened, anything interesting? I know the Dobutsu are muscling in on your territory, are you going to stand for such a thing?"

Roxas stood again and listened to his words. "I see. Well sorry about the exams way back then. I once saw your power and so i gave you an unfair fight. It is a shame to hear that youve been... A freelancer ever since. It is also sad that most of us school friends are pitted against each other in this war..." Roxas would sigh before continuing onward. "Let us walk and talk. I have a proposition for a man of your... talents" He would say before picking up his pace and heading toward anguish to reap his reward. He patted the hefty bag od xel in his pocket and the precious metal.

"Bah, I am well past such a petty squabble now. It was quite an unfair fight but it showed me that I was not fit to gain that promotion nor was I strong enough to take you down. Quite upsetting if you ask me but it doesn't matter." Arikiko chuckled quietly and shook his head before raising an eyebrow. A business proposition? That was going to be interesting, he never thought that Roxas of all people would want to hire him... After all Arikiko had tried to kill him on multiple occasions but he guessed it was all in the past. "Well that sounds absolutely fine to me, my good sir, let us head off... Obviously we have much to talk about." After retrieving his weapon and sheathing it once more he walked off beside Roxas, hands in his pockets, wondering what would be said and what this deal of his was.
