Highland Forest (Lower)

The branches of the trees within the highland forest (lower) were manipulated by Aria in order to form a maze like structure with winding paths which lead those attempting to get to the center in circles. The Dobutsu within it often use this to their advantage as they know the actual route and can plan ambushes or alter the terrain if they possess Nature Release to further give themselves an advantage. At it's heart it is a place of healing storing resources which assist with it making it one of the best places with the Land of the Damned to fight a defensive battle. To get to the second level of the Maze individuals have to make it to the center which results in a tunnel to get to the entrance of the second level. In order to get to the third level of the Maze individuals have to make it to the center of the second level leading to another tunnel leading to the entrance of the third level and within the center of the third level is the actual Shrine. In both instances there are secret entrances from a lower maze into a higher maze which only open through the bottom to allow rapid escapes or reinforcements to higher levels by Dobutsu stationed within.
