Sweet Tooth Tales (Dual Training)

Well Summer was going to lash out with her blade to end the golem, turning its surroundings to diamond and essentially trapping for the foreseeable future. Just as she was about to swing though, Tierno's voice rang out and she released the hilt of her blade, just leaving it sitting within the sheath. Her body was aching softly and it only intensified when she dropped her kinjutsu, the pain she'd placed into the weapon hitting her again although thankfully it was weaker than before. "Heh... Me and Cherish just seem to mesh pretty well." She spoke before sitting down at the edge of the bowl and letting her legs dangle down onto the curved surface that moved away from her.

Her shoulders slumped after a few seconds and she spent a few moments taking deep breaths before she jumped to her feet and rolled her shoulders. "Whoa, there we go, I'm feeling a bit better now. I thought that battle went pretty well actually, had to bring out one of my nastier techniques... I don't really like using it because of the way it feels but it does work." She clenched her hands tight and then gave a bright smile to her sensei and her friend.

Cherish had tensed when she saw Tierno and was already prepping to spit out another one of her water infused with life-force bullets but would relax after his words plopping to the ground and just laying there for a bit. One of her fingers would glow green as she healed the cut in her mouth so she wouldn't bleed anymore as she figured the assessment of their skills was now concluded so they wouldn't have to deal with it as much as before. Which was good, because she was tired, she had no idea how Summer was roaring and ready to go, then again her friend probably wasn't suffering from mild chakra exhaustion. Sure it wasn't anything serious not even something which would really impair her all that much in a fight but she was going to take any sort of rest she could now while she could do it. She knew she had decent reserves as did most in her clan in fact for her age and rank she was pretty good but she would try and devote more time into raising her natural reserves as the genin exams crept ever closer.

Yep we are like peas in a pod just wait until we have another member in our squad to help out with offense then we'll really show off. So sensei what do you think you could teach us? Or will you just work on our teamwork and leave us more to self study? Cherish asked as she herself was wondering exactly what Tierno could teach them seeing as they all had different elemental releases, though her and him both shared the Earth release which was good for her but she wondered about Summer. Then again Diamond and earth were similar weren't they so maybe Tierno would be a good fit for them after all.

Tierno smiled a little as he measured his own fatigue and reserves compared to his students, he remembered how a simple golem was one hell of a drain on him. But it's all different with training, once the reserves are beaten into you they are wonderful. He crossed his arms and went stoic once again. "You both did very well! Well when it comes to what I'll teach you... I plan on teaching you guys how to fight conventionally, I understand I probably used some heavy handed methods for your rank, but here you both are. You used both extreme and rather unique solutions against my golems. I want to make sure that with training and my mentoring that you both will be able to take down something like my golems with both of your eyes closed! Maybe even teach you how to do... This... His hand became as black as Onxy and with as much force as he could muster he slammed his hand onto the ground and caused a crater to form. Of course he knew their bodies, his body was meant to harness raw strength, the black covering was just a defensive technique with no strength affecting boosts.... But hey it looked cool and inspiring. "But yes... To put simply and to answer your question... All of the Above Cheshire.

Seeing Cherish flop over onto the ground, Summer chuckled and then unclipped Glimmer from her belt, placing the fancy weapon down on the ground and then stretching upwards, her dress lifting up for a second before she huffed and dropped her arms, letting it sit where it was supposed to and keep everything covered. Although she did really have to get Cherish get back for what she done the first time they met, so with a grin she straddled the other girl's stomach and proceeded to sit down on her, rather hard as it happened although not so much that it would end up hurting... For long. Once she was comfortably seated on Cherish's stomach and giving a little wiggle to emphasise the point, she brought her knees up and planted her feet on the ground, resting her elbows on her knees and then her chin on her palms, looking up at Tierno for a few moments.

"Well I'm not an Osoroshii-Daku samurai, so I'm not able to end up really strong without doing my body some kind of harm, I know Cherish can make herself stronger through getting drunk or coating her body in stone but that's understandable. I think I'll just stick to cutting things for now..." She then paused and gave a soft huff, furrowing her slender eyebrows at Tierno. "If you keep getting my best friend's name wrong, I'm not going to be very happy, sensei. She's called Cherish, not any variant of that..."

Cherish would lay lazily but did pay some attention to what Tierno was saying that is until Summer sat on her causing her to put up her arms in protest. Ugh, meanie Cherish said softly as Summer was quite heavy not that she'd ever admit that but she'd put up with it for now. She would frown as Tierno got her name wrong again but before she could protest Summer had defended her causing Cherish to stick her tongue out at their sensei. Though Tierno tried to impress them by making the ground explode, Cherish wasn't really interested in finding way to augment her strength, she was interested in more diverse uses of Earth Release not as a combat style but supplementary and stuff like that. She knew Summer was a swordswoman and thus was only interested in things like that but she did think that Summer should at least learn some sort of armor technique perhaps like her own just a Diamond Release version.

Sensei is cruel to keep messing up my name, not to mention he likes showing up..eh girlie do you think we are Sensei's first squad? So he doesn't really know what to teach us and thinks showing off is best? Cherish said with a smiling face even though she was talking about Tierno to his face, her voice innocent but it was obvious that the second time he messed up her name she didn't like it at all. I guess it's all up to us to find out what we are good at...

Tierno covered his face with his Onxy hand and sighed a bit. "I am really... Really... Extremely sorry Cherish.... You're right... You both caught me! You are my first team, call it my nerves but I'm sorry." His hands coloration returned and he looked at the two girls. Oh boy is this going to be rather tough. He worked well with kids but this was a highly different circumstance. "I just want to teach you guys to be able bodied Shinobi and all of my gifts and tools are here to benefit you two... So yes this going to be a learning experience for the both of us!" He said as he covered his face again slightly embarrassed.

"Don't worry sensei, you're doing fine, we just like messing around with you. This is our first time having a sensei and I, personally, am happy that you aren't really strict like I've heard others are, you seem kind of fun... Even if you do like to show off a bit, but aren't we a bit too young for you to be doing that?" She flashed Tierno a wink and then gave a soft giggle before she shifted forwards on Cherish and then lay back, using her friend as something to lounge upon, giving the other female a kiss on the cheek to make up for it. She was surprisingly comfortable as it happened and Summer could find herself doing this more than once. Then again she wasn't sure how Cherish would take that, getting used as a seat, she'd probably use Summer as a seat in return. Thinking over that, Summer decided it wasn't actually that bad a trade-off so she continued to lie there, scanning her pink eyes to look at Tierno as she lay on top of her friend. "Anything else to teach us today or are we going to go get something to eat?"

Cherish would nod with Summer's comment even though she still stuck out her tongue at Tierno for good measure only to stop when Summer shifted and lay on her. You know despite my nice body I'm not a bed girlie. Cherish grumbled but would accept the kiss and quiet down she'd have her revenge at a later date now it wasn't that important but Summer had brought up a good point as she was quite hungry. Dango Dango! Maybe I can even get some more sake since I went through a lot during the test Sensei pays because he got my name wrong. Hehe...Dango and Sake are the best combination in the world Cherish said before trailing off her eyes glazing over a bit as she thought of the combo her Nee-san loved it as well perhaps that was why she had taken to it so much.

In fact if she had her way then it would be a team tradition going to get Dango and Sake after each mission or something, sake for her and Tierno though Summer didn't seem like the drinking type and she didn't know what their other teammate would like. Lets go Sensei I'm hungry....

Tierno would end up sighing in awkwardness as he looked out to the syrup filled hole as he decided to ignore what Summer's comment. He coughed as he stood up and started to walk toward the exit. "I don't have anything else to teach you so let's go eat!" He had any idea of what next time would entail but hey they deserved a break. "Dango sounds perfect! And ya... My treat..." Yeah he did mess up her name quite a bit, god he was still deathly embarrassed just thinking about it. "Why don't you two escort me to what you think is the best Dango shop around is?" He said with a small smirk as he wasn't going to worry about the training ground, he knew that the caretakers would repair the training field within moments of them leaving. God maybe sitting in the training field all night was a bad idea, he was pretty hungry as well.

"Well of course you're not a bed, that's my job. After all, you slept on me when we first met if you remember. I just get to lounge on you, you get to sleep on me when it comes to it." She rolled off of her friend after saying that and hopped to her feet, dusting herself down and offering a hand to Cherish to help her up. Whether or not she accepted it, Summer turned to look at Tierno and gave him a smile. "Dango sounds good, sake not so much for me... I'll just have orange juice or something. Lead the way then Cherish." She strapped on her sword and made sure that it was fully sheathed before rolling her shoulders feeling the creak and ache of her body, it wasn't good but she could handle it. Now she wasn't exactly sure where they were going so she would just wait for her teammate to lead the way and follow along behind her. The training session was fun at least although it did hurt, hopefully her newer techniques would allow her to break the golems with greater ease next time... Then again, Tierno might have tougher ones than that. Oh well, all in a day's work.

Cherish would blush as Summer was right she had forgotten she had ended up passing out on her friend after she got shitfaced the first time she and her had met up. She'd look up and grab Summers hand before being pulled up stretching a bit and likewise dusting off her clothes. Your right I guess I can agree with that deal girlie. Cherish said smiling brightly mainly due to Tierno having accepted her request for dango and sake thus she felt excited and energized. You better keep up then. she said looking towards Summer before spinning rapidly and then taking off at Bullet Release speeds to the dango stand, they should of known she'd run to it after all it was her favorite food in the world, and alcohol was always a plus. Still she did wish at some point to travel to the Polar Continent for stronger alcohol, but sake was affordable enough for her to buy in large quantities. She would have to make sure to learn some way of sealing it so she could etch her gourd with seals and thus allow her to carry around a lot more, with refills if she used it up.

As the ran, she would exit the training field and eventually stumble upon the dango shop which wasn't all that far with Cherish first waiting for the rest of her team at the terminal to get to the South dome and when they caught up would take it there. Only for Cherish to burst out and head to the left low and behold her Dango shop would be only a few blocks away causing her to take a seat at one of the stools and smile happily as she waited for Tierno & Summer to get there.
