| Geka Seido Geka seido: This samurai style is the result of combining the draw speed of Iaido, the speed of Tenmetsu-kō and the shattering impact of Shubi Toride blending them together to create an aggressive style of swordsmanship relying on distancing as well as counter speed & hand seal use. This style favors the Nagamaki, due to it's long handle and equally long blade yet being fashioned similar to a katana to allow for an easy draw. Geka Seido is a primarily two handed style and despite not being a "Original" Samurai Style it is easily on par with the others. Tiers Granted:Samurai - Speed & Defense (S-rank Cap) Reaper - Speed & Defense (SS-rank Cap) - Spoiler:
Name: Geka Style - Batto Distance Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Short-Mid
Description: The most important part of Geka Seido is the draw distance, which is based upon height, the taller one is the bigger the radius they are able to cover as their Batto Distance. This is likewise amplified by the use of a Nagamaki the two going hand in hand to create the optimal distance in which a Geka Style Samurai is able to unsheathe and simultaneously cut an opponent either incoming or attempting to flee. The draw speed of Geka Seido is perhaps among the, if not the, fastest among Kenjutsu and as a result it is often used to punish victims which get within range. Height of Samurai - Nagamaki Length (Blade/Hilt) - Batto Distance 3 Feet & Below (1 Foot Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - ~8 Feet 4 Feet (1.5 Feet Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - 10 Feet 5 Feet (2 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - ~ 14 Feet 6 Feet (2.5 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - 15 Feet 7 Feet (3 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - ~ 19 Feet 8 Feet (3.5 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - 20 Feet
Name: Geka Style - Battojutsu Classification: Kenjutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Offensive/Supplementary Range: Self (Within Batto Distance)
Description: The originator of the Geka Seido Kenjutsu style was a Samurai Cypher Hybrid who looked at the multiple styles of kenjutsu in his arsenal and noticed the inherent flaw in Iaido. Iaido isn't an offensive kenjutsu style, it is a counter-offensive style which has been honed into a lethal art. As a result the originator decided to delve through the history books to see where exactly Iaido originated from and stumbled upon Batto, the art of drawing a blade to initiate and attack not in reply to one. Combining that with improved speed and the Nagamaki resulted in the formation of one of the key components of Geka Seido. To Draw the Blade, as a result their are three types of drawing each with it's own effect. Draw Type - Effect Muscle Tension Draw - Proper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) Two Handed Draw - Standard (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 1-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) One Handed Draw - Improper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) [Geka Style deal half as much Damage]

This technique does not slice rather the impact with the victims hands results in all the bones within said hand shattering resulting in a mangled appendage to ensure they are unable to utilize Ninjutsu and techniques which require the use of two handed hand seals or that particular hand. This technique is capable of interrupting the use of Ninjutsu preformed at speeds equal the Geka style Samurai is swinging his/her blade while utilizing this technique, to sustain equal rank damage to the victims hand if they do not possess sufficient defense tiers to nullify the physical damage dealt or halt their formation of hand seals.
Name: Geka Style - Heel Kick Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Defensive/Supplementary Range: Short
Description: The Geka Seido version of the notorious Heel Kick is actually meant for defensive purposes rather than offensive straying away from the base technique. It is preformed during an incoming physical attack with the Geka Style Samurai kneeing upward in order to impact the physical attack and deflect it upward to deal 1 foot of knockback into the air while shattering a weapon (D-rank & below) if it is blocked by one. This technique was made for the sheer purpose of countering those with high speed tiers, the Geki Style Samurai bends their knees before launching themselves forward while simultaneously unsheathing their Nagamaki. The swing itself is a 4 spins slicing 1440 degrees (Can cut an opponent 4 times or four opponents at once) within their "Batto Distance" with victims moving at Swift Release unable to dodge the attack unless they are either backed by equal rank strength, have a time-slowing dojutsu, sensory technique D-rank or above or possess reaction tiers equal to the speed the Geki Style Samurai is swinging their blade. This technique is aimed at the legs an upon impacting a target they are dealt D-rank physical shattering damage to their leg(s) resulting in a mangled appearance preventing a victim from moving via legs unless it is healed by a D-rank medical ninjutsu. This technique is capable of interrupting fleeing opponents outside (Up to Double it's length & Up to 8 opponents at once) their "Batto Distance" moving at normal running speed that the Samurai is utilizing this technique, to sustain equal rank damage to their legs if they do not possess sufficient defense tiers to nullify the physical damage dealt.
Name: Geka Style: Shattering Defense Level 1 Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Defensive/Offensive Range: Self
Description: The Geki Style take on Defense tiers, having stemmed from the Shubi Style method of defense Shattering Defense is a more offensive version of it which sets itself apart from other defense tiers for that sole reason. When not in motion Geki Style functions just like normal defense tiers just nullifying physical damage D-rank and below, however when moving it sacrifices its nullification to deal D-rank defense piercing physical shattering damage to targets. This is based of course on the principle that the best defense is a good offense and it isn't triggered simply by the user moving, rather it can occur in two additional ways. If an incoming target/attack is faster than the user an incoming attack is no longer nullified but rather dealt impact damage while if an incoming target/attack is slower than the user then the nullification is kept in addition to the impact damage. Unfortunately the major drawback is the loss of the nullification in exchange for piercing, this results in a high risk high return where it is possible for an opponent to deal physical damage to the user during motion as well as the instance damage is dealt out. The Sheathe is launched like a projectile impacting a victim to deal defense piercing, physical shattering damage along the point of impact. The level of piercing gained is dependent on the speed that the sheathe is launched with faster draws resulting in the sheathe flying through the air at faster speeds with higher defense piercing. Due to dealing shattering damage the sheathe pierces through the body before being stuck within it with any bones it pierces through shattering along the point of impact leaving stress fractures in a 1 foot radius around it. The sheathe can be pulled out with ease however doing so will result in the victim sustaining C-rank bleed damage each post (total) unless the injury is healed by a medical ninjutsu B-rank or above.

| Geka Style – Battojutsu –[Kenjutsu Out Speeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu] <- does this mean the opponent needs equal strength or reaction tiers, or the user?
As for the speed increases for all of them, for True All Taijutsu, I’ll allow the breaking of the S-rank cap, due to them being naturally able to do so, if not then they have the S-rank cap. | |

| It means if the user swings at Crashing ground the opponent needs crashing ground + B strength tiers to dodge or crashing ground + B-rank reaction tiers or simply just Blinding light otherwise they will be cut. Two handed draw is the same while one handed draw essentially means if the opponent isn't utilizing samurai speed then the attack moving at the same speed hits first. But if they use 1-rank speed it's slower. All the speed increases are building on that principle essentially it's a slower swing that covers the distance that a person moving faster than the user would have to cover in order to dodge thus hitting them before they can escape in time as long as they are within the striking range "Batto Distance"
They aren't breaking the S-rank they are merely hitting opponents that are too close and don't have enough time to escape outside of the Batto Distance, using the concept of short distance lower tiers vs long distance higher tiers to balance the strike interval (shorter distance is covered in the same time as longer distance usually, factor in tenmetsu speed thus hits first when dealing with pure speed tiers.) |

| I wish to revise one of the techniques in the style due to the new Tier information. - Spoiler:
Draw Type - Effect Muscle Tension Draw - Proper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal-rank++ Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank Samurai Level Strength or possessing Samurai Level Reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu. If the target is outside quarter of the user Batto Distance yet still within it the strike out speeds 1-rank Higher Speed Tiers following the same format, if the target is outside half of the user's Batto Distance yet still within it yet not close enough to be quarter the strike outspeeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tiers following the same format) Two Handed Draw - Standard (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal-rank+ Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu. If the target is outside half of the user Batto Distance yet still within it the strike out speeds 1-rank Higher Speed Tiers following the same format.) One Handed Draw - Improper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) [Geka Style deal half as much Damage]
The reasoning being the Tier update gave me a better way to explain Geka Seido than what I had before. |
