Searching II (encounter)

Neo strolled casually through the well kept grasslands. The grass was never too high, nor too low, as the creatures which roams its vicinity ensured to eat in balance, allowing it to have a very homily essence to it, much similar to ones own front lawn. "I think we shall stay here Kech. Its quiet, peaceful, and the only fools who bother to come out here are hardly even worth the effort they require to remove. I think we shall stay. At least for now." Kech would simply turn its head at the sound of speech. The beast understood certain commands, and knew Neo's voice well, however, he still had no way of understanding. Neo's form would change, his ears perking up to a point, his teeth becoming fangs, his nosing extending outwards, hair thickening and growing excessively. His now acute hearing and smell worked towards finding a nearby life form.


ENCOUNTER ROLL FAILED

The Grasslands were indeed peaceful, sunlight managed to flicker in due to the lack of trees and the area was not teaming with vicious wild life, which was a plus. It was high noon and for some reason no animals were in sight, which was pretty upsetting if one was a tamer looking to capture some of them. Perhaps if he kept walking it might change, or perhaps not but at the moment nothing was in sight. About 40 feet away there was a tree with other trees scattered near it they weren't as large at the one's in thorn forest but they were pretty tall, enough for some sort of creature to perhaps make it their home, who knows however it might simply be a pipe dream.

An hour had passed as Neo and Kech wondered the seemingly endless grasslands of the Foresaken. How? Just how could he have not run into at least something yet? Even in his Cursed Wolf form, he couldn't smell or hear any other form of life, at least, nothing which caught his attention, only petty creatures which are as useful as the dirt before his feet. Kech grew bored, rolling up into a ball as he began to nap, however Neo wished to continue moving. One of his clouds grew as thin and sharp as a square blade, digging into the ground before the creature before raising itself up, moving beside Neo casually. "Come on, no time to stop."

Okay, what the fuck is going on. How is it even remotely possible to be wondering this amazingly boring land, riddled with life, and simply not find any life. Fuck the encounter rolls. Anyway, Neo reverted back to his original form, jumping into the air as a cloud honed in under him, raising him above the ground towards the treetops. Kech, who was resting upon another of his magnificent clouds of wonder, followed slowly, unknowing of his current movement as he was deep in his sleep, enjoying his past freedoms in his own false reality. Neo would do the classic shinobi jumping from branch to branch, soaring through the forest. His posture seeming to never change as he would elevate from the top of the screen, to just below it, out of sight. Lets find Something!!!! No? Oh well, time to go to madness.
