Travelling from Wetlands to Grasslands

It had been about 3 hours since they had started their search for more life which can be useful or in a sense, have the potential to be such. Kech walked beside Neo as they traced the harsh wetlands of the Forsaken. Tired of this search, Neo would jump into the air, a cloud zooming underneath him, Kech following soon after. This time, rather then simply having the two of them floating separately, they were both on a single cloud, or rather, two clouds which have been joined together too make a platform type of object, much like the flying carpet featured in Aladdin, the classic Disney The two of them would travel silently, not a sound being made besides their unmatched breathing. Clouds passed, they floated along the path leading out of the wetlands and back towards the Grasslands. It was in fact the area in which the two of them had originally met, or rather, where neo had first almost killed the poor thing. Letting out a sigh, Neo would pat kech as they hovered closer to the ground. It was better that way, making seeing native wildlife much easier. The land was brash and monotonous, going on in the same way as it had always done, no new sights, no new events, just constant bush and forest. Such an annoyance. Both sat upright, listening and watching out intensely. Even though there was no real communication between the two of them, Kech had a basic understanding, and the two had a connection.

Circumstantially, the wetlands contained, mud, mud which can be bathed in, mud, which when bathed in can relax muscles, relaxed muscles which can shorting a healing process and prevent pain and strain on an injured body as well as working wonders for once skin, additionally keeping their body cool, acting as a lovely little sunscreen against the sun, which beamed down intently on the dual of cool characters. After having just returned from this place, after who knows how many weeks, Kech’s body had healed quite well, relaxing in one of the pools of mud which were literally everywhere. The Grasslands were different though, not as relaxing, but definitely cleaner and of course, more homely. The wetlands were great and all, but the moisture lacked the sense of security that is bought with dry land. Either way, they were almost there, travelling through the last few layers of trees before the grand opening would consume them both. Readily, they stood up on the cloud and watched out, looking for hopefully either another animal, or an empty field. People were a hindrance at this stage, though if they consumed the area, it wouldn’t be all to bad, it would simply be a chance to take what they have, and give nothing back. Pirate Code 101. At least I think that’s a pirate code. Parlay? Back on topic, Neo and Kech had bursted out onto the grassland field, now vulnerable and out in the open, perhaps able to gather up an experience or encounter?

A few snickers of laughing echoed out around the field Neo stood in. "Heheh, well look what we got here buds. A lone little mouse walking through our field. What should we do about this unacceptable entrance?" said one voice. A high pitched giggle came from another direction. "EAT IT!!! HEHEHEHEHEHE" The voices giggled again but there was no indication to their direction, there was no one visibly around.

Neo smiled at the sound of the voices, it was going to be fun. Kech on the other hand, ignored them for now, not seeing them as much of a threat at all. Reaching over to his back, Neo would detatch his kusarigama, swinging the chain above his head until it was at full speed, then with as much force as possible, Neo would begin using the momentum to strike the thin air, his precision aura reaching over 40 ft from the already 4 meter blade, giving a 53 ft range of both trees and grass in a complete full dome which was simply being shredded. Whether or not the folk were in this area was unknown, however the voices being heard so clearly would mean they weren't too far out.

The Bandits were hiding in the swamp, all of them having gotten used to ambushing targets while they passed through however this was the first time someone had decided to strike first, and it put them on guard. Two bandits were on mangroves each with a bow and three were actually submerged in the swamp water with their heads having a fake lily pad on it. Those three would drift upward before sucking in air and then swimming towards their target. Meanwhile the one's in the mangroves would ready their bows just in case he tried to attack, this hunting pattern had served them well in the past it wasn't going to fail now. Unfortunately for them they were dealing with an academy drop out who had some semblance of skill, the two in the mangrove's were suddenly sliced along with numerous leaves on the trees and would cry out in pain before plummeting to the swampy floor which would start to turn red with blood. Their allies would double their efforts with one of them popping out of the water before throwing a hatchet which flew through the air at the boy while the other two aimed their hatchets at his beast.

The hatchets moving towards the pair were nothing. Both Neo and Kech possess reaction tiers well and truly capable of detecting them long before they even neared. Not to mention, their position in the water was now given away. The two aimed at Kech would be stuck into the ground as Kech made a small jump to the side at his Crashing grounds speed, while Neo would do nothing, one of his clouds simply getting in the way as the weapon passed through the cloud, reappearing from another, now heading back towards its owner. Neo would sigh, disappointed by the level of his opponents. Not only have they become an annoyance, but they are also poor sport, nothing but a hindrance to this land. He'd place his hands in his pockets, allowing them to make a quick flick of the wrist to send three shurikans sprawling towards the three know targets, each one capable of a destructive 20 ft radius force. They would be unable to escape in time unless they moved with some form of speed tiers, but regardless, to do such, they would be moving into the open.

The bandits were slaughtered honestly that was the best way to put it, their attacks were shut down and the shuriken's were thrown to accurately for them to hope to dodge. Not to mention the invisible aura which surrounded them each were cut up, sure it wasn't enough to slice them apart due to the lack of strength but it was painful and they would fall to the ground not exactly going to get up any time soon judging by the color gradually spreading from where they fell. It seems everything was fine now however and it was back to exploring the world and hunting down creatures to tame and what not.

Neo would honestly just shrug. He wouldn't even bother to pick up the loot the poor souls may have left behind, nothing they could have would ever interest someone such as himself. Xel, weapons, armor or special trinkets, they are all as equals to stone in his eyes, they eyes of a boy more in tuned with the unintelligent living rather then tools to prevent or cause the dead. He would turn, walking out into the open plain casually, hands still in pockets, shoulders slumped, as if hiding as best he could despite the vast openness before him. Kech would turn to follow happily, staying only just behind in his footsteps as it has learnt to do over their time together.
