Kekkai Genkai: Clan Information: The Arashi are known due to their untamable hair always being in various shades of red mainly due to the purity of their bloodline. Crimson hair is the common color of a pure Arashi, with Darker shades of red the result of mixed human ancestry while those with Lighter shades of red as well as pink the result of mixed nova ancestry. The ruling branch however always have some form of white whether as a streak within their crimson hair or rarely when a recent by a genetical stand point introduction of Nova, often reaching as far as great great grandparents, pure white hair is common. The Arashi clan is divided into three distinct branches which not only seperates them with a strict clan heirarchy but also in terms of abilities. - Clan Heirarchy:
Taifū (Ruling Branch) - Over two-hundred and twenty five years ago the collective group of families which would later come to comprise the Taifū came into existence. Through careful breeding and the actions of prominent members they became quite well vested in politics and using the acheivements of a Ryuujin Arashi the 4th Tetakage of Ibaragakure their rule progressed. After the events of the war when the members of all the Kages's immediate families were hunted down and executed their rule became absolute and now an Arashi within the clan doesn't make a move without the Taifū knowing about it. Despite their influence they are the token minority with 11 percent of Arashi being from this bloodline. *Are the only ones capable of learning all 8 Storm Variations. -Only the "Royal" Bloodline within the Taifū are capable of manifesting the Uzugan. (Requires a Dice roll of anything above 90 bar 100; 90-99 for Taifu & 100 for "Royal")
Tatsumaki (Warrior Branch) - Originally comprising of the various families of Arashi who were skilled at the shinobi arts after the Taifū's rise to power the Tatsumaki became an established branch intermarrying with other clanless shinobi primarily Nova and clanless humans to strengthen their bloodline. They comprise the majority of shinobi from the clan and enjoy higher clan privledges and even a spot on the Arashi Auxillary Council if their achievements for the clan are prominent enough. Just 25 percent of Arashi make up this branch *Are capable of learning the Secondary Storm Variations only. -Only the "Elite" Bloodline within the Tatsumaki possess the Kazama Curse Seal. (Requires a Dice roll of anything between 64-89; 64-84 for Tatsumaki & 85-89 for "Elite" Bloodline Tatsumaki)
Kumo (Common Branch) - Originally comprising of the various families of Arashi who were civilians, married to civilians or , being members of the clan despite not going into the shinobi field personally as well as dropping out early. They learned how to produce things for the clan and when the Taifū rose to power they were mixed with those mix breed Arashi from the rare results of an Arashi producing a child that was partially Zireh. Despite this they have 64 percent of Arashi are Kumo causing them to make the vast majority of clan. *Are capable of learning the Primary Storm Variations only. (Requires a Dice roll of anything below 65)
In terms of organization each of the Branches adhere to the rules set by the Arashi Council which is comprised of the Clan Head, 2 Taifū Advisors, the Clan Heir, the 9 Storms of the Arashi which are all members of the clan who have obtained the highest mastery of a particular storm type, making 13 members in total. Usually they decide the fate of the entire clan however when particularly important topics are up for discussion the Auxiliary Council which is comprised of, as well as up to 20 additional members typically being Tatsumaki or influential Kumo making the entire Arashi Council being 33 members in total.
Kekkai Genkai: The Storm Release Kekkei Genkai is the most unique elemental chakra nature release bloodline in the world, this is due primarily due to it's ability to consistently result in variations as a direct result of combining varying spectrums of Lightning to Water release chakra. The spectrums seems to be a genetic trait unique to the Arashi which is why the element itself is extremely difficult to obtain by non-arashi with Nova being unable to assimilate the element at all while Storm Release weapons are limited to the most basic version. However these variations are due to instability and possible as a result the Arashi are not able to harness their bloodline without the use of unique materia they naturally produce known as Nimbus which resemble clouds. The Arashi weave Nimbus together along with chakra in order to use any and all Storm Release techniques. - Storm Release:
Storm Release (Water + Lightning): In essence is the creation, manipulation, and harnessing of storm clouds as well as the weather that results due to these storm clouds. In it's most basic version the Arashi Clan member produces pearly white Nimbus which grant varying abilities typically revolving around concealment, fog generation, increased moisture in the air, vision obscuring properties due to the thickness of clouds as well as the ability to make Nimbus tangible and intangible at will to allow things to pass through them. Requirements: Academy Rank 1 C-rank Lightning Technique, 1 C-rank Water ninjutsu. +100 word Element Training.
There are 7 Known variations of Storm Release all of which are native to the Arashi Clan, each pertaining to a color in the rainbow, however their exists an 8th which is only possible due to the Uzugan Dojutsu while their are rumors of 3 more which have not yet been proven due to requiring Lightning Release not native to the Arashi Clan to test said theories.
The Storms are seperated into 4 categories: Primary Variations = Which comprise the earliest storms known to the Arashi Clan; Firestorm, Rainstorm, Thunderstorm & Snowstorm. Secondary Variations = Which comprise of the more recent storms known to the Arashi Clan; Galestorm, Duststorm, Geomagneticstorm Uzugan Exclusive = Which currently is only comprised of Heatstorm. Tempest Variations = Which comprise of the rumored variations as a result of unique variations of lightning release not native to the Arashi Clan due to being combined with Raiden's Lightning. The functional names are; Lux Tempest, Umbra Tempest & Canus Tempest.
Each of the variations have their own balance the Primary Variations are weaker when faced up against the Secondary variations, the Tempest variations are stronger when faced up against the Primary & Secondary variations while the Uzugan exclusive is neutral across the board.
*Firestorms are weak to Rainstorms which are weak to Hailstorms which are weak to Thunderstorms which are weak to Firestorms. *Galestorms are weak to Duststorms which are weak to Geomagneticstorms which are weak to Galestorms. *Lux Tempest & Umbra Tempest cancel each other out while Canus Tempest is strong against both.

*Primary Variations can be learned at Academy Rank however require 1 D-rank Water & 1 D-rank Lightning release technique to be learned in addition to a 125 word weekly training topic to obtain mastery of it. The word count doubles with each new Primary Variation learned. *Secondary Variations can be learned at Genin Rank however require 1 C-rank Water & 1 C-rank Lightning Release technique to be learned in addition to a 250 word weekly training topic to obtain mastery of it. The word count doubles with each new Primary Variation learned. *Heatstorms are a natural ability gained upon acquiring the Uzugan even if transplanted the user will gain Storm Release albeit only being able to utilize just Heatstorms if they aren't an Arashi. *Tempest Variations can be learned at Chunin Rank however require not only the ability to harness Raiden's Lightning in at least one of the three variations it comes in but likewise 1 B-rank Water & 1 B-rank Lightning Release technique to be learned in addition to a 500 word weekly training topic to obtain mastery of it.

Note: Arashi Clan Members who possess the Uzugan are unable to gain the Kekkei Tota, however one can obtain both the Uzugan & the Kekkei Tota at the cost of being unable to Awaken. Description: The Uzugan (Maelstrom Eye) was originally created through a mutation due to it's originator Devin U. Arashi's mixed heritage, her child would inherit the powerful dojutsu with it having mutated yet again stabilizing into it's true form rather than it's original mutated one. The Uzugan stems from four composite Dojutsu, and in it's initial form contained certain abilities from all of them, now however some of it's original abilities have been lost and others remolded to be unique to the Uzugan in question. This dojutsu has four abilities all of which are available upon manifesting and it has no evolved forms, instead upon becoming active it causes the user's eyes pupils to turn a shade of purple with numerous patterns within them centering around a sun-like pattern in the center which serves as the focus of the user's vision. The Uzugan's abilities each revolve around a specific band on the active dojutsu each work together to provide the user with amplified perception and vision however the user of the dojutsu is capable of reducing the power to their dojutsu in order to lower the drain it has on them. In order to activate it requires -5 Fatigue and each post (total) the user has it active it drains a varying amount of fatigue from their fatigue limit depending on the Power Ratio (Caps at -4 each post (total) at 100%). *Outer Rim - The outer rim is capable of detecting flow or more specifically the displaced substances caused by a targets moment through a set fluid. This grants the user Displacement Sensory which dependent on the fluid can either give rise to Wind Displacement Sensory or Water Displacement Sensory whether the target is in air or underwater. The power of this vision depends on the user's age as it becomes more powerful the older the user is starting at being able to track D-rank speeds through displacement when the user is born. Every 5 years after that it increases it's power by 1-rank capping out at the age of 30 by being able to detect displaced speeds of Echoing Flash. Dojutsu Power Ratio = 25% Cost = -1 Additional Fatigue *Middle Rim - The middle rim is capable of analyzing techniques which utilize chakra that the user is able to see used in battle allowing them to accurately detect the elemental affinity(s) if any, rank and cost required to use it, it does not however analyze the effects of the technique nor allow the user to replicate it. It simply acts to determine the strength of techniques used in battle in order to assist the user with determining the threat of an attack. Dojutsu Power Ratio = 25% = -1 Additional Fatigue *Inner Rim - The Uzugan grants the user Storm Release, in particular Heat Clouds however it's user's are unable to learn the original Cloud Types available to the Arashi Clan namely Blaze, Thunder, Ice & Dust. When the Uzugan is active Heat Nimbus are constantly produced by the user depending on their skill level and can be manipulated at will to utilize Storm Release techniques involving Heat Nimbus without the use of hand seals. The number of Heat Nimbus produced is 1 each post (total) with each rank up increasing it's total by 1 (cap of 5). The maximum amount of Heat Nimbus that can be on the field at one time also caps out at various levels depending on the users skill level starting at 10 at D-rank capping at 50 at S-rank, similar to the Nimbus produced by the Arashi Clan these clouds serve as Materia for the use of Storm Release techniques. Dojutsu Power Ratio = 25% = -1 Additional Fatigue *Sun Pupil - The sun Pupil causes the user to develop a secondary conciousness known as The Personality who is capable of maintaining the functions of the Uzugan and their Storm Release techniques. This conciousness serves as a secondary mental defense as when active this dojutsu now becomes capable of breaking out of genjutsu equal to their skill level, the personality becomes more powerful the higher the overall power ratio to the dojutsu is as it manages each one independently of the user. Dojutsu Power Ratio = 25% = -1 Additional Fatigue Dojutsu Power Ratio - Personality Effect25% - None (Activation) 50% - Chakra Flow is able to be detected when displaced outside of a target's body (Aka chakra used externally not internally). 75% - The Speed of Heat Cloud manipulation is equal to the displacement tracking speed of the user. 100% - Analyzing extends to cover not only just chakra using techniques but techniques which use chakra in addition to other prices.
- Kazama Curse Mark ("Elite" Bloodline descendent from Saeko U. Arashi):

The Kazama Curse Mark is the direct result of Saeko U. Arashi obtaining a mutation of the Curse Seal Ryuujin Arashi possessed or more specifically the Origin Curse Seal her own skilled use of the juinjutsu mixed with the instability of the Storm Release Kekkei Genkai resulting in this. Members who possess the Kazama Curse Mark may or may not possess the ability to harness chakra however their use of storm release differs from the norms of the clan. Instead they are able to trigger transformations altering their bodies bio-chemical state due to the latent Juinjutsu they collectively inherited into forms most suited towards the type of Storm used. Despite stemming from the notoriously difficult to control Origin Curse Seal the Kazama Curse Mark is easier to harness in battle without being consumed by the rage/bloodlust of it's progenitor and comprises a 2 Stage Curse Seal with a third stage if the Cosmic Release Kekkei Tota is obtained.
Kekkai Tota: Cosmic Release (Water + Lightning + Fire); formerly known as Dragon Storm Release or to some just Dragon Release due to the first ever Arashi to utilize it in battle Ryuujin Arashi not being very good at names. Over the years however it has become known as Cosmic Release due to the storms in question dealing with stormy conditions found in outer space. The Arashi Clan was created directly after the events of the 5th Great Shinobi World War, it's creation a result of initial experiments to harvest the elemental diversity of the Chakra Beasts by humanity. Multiple tests were done during before and during the course of the war but it was only thanks to constant abductions thanks to the severity of the war that a diverse enough selection of test subjects were able to be gathered to result in a successful breakthrough. The subject named Tenjin after the mythical storm deity that was worshipped during said time. Tenjin was the only one to survive who gave favorable enough results having been able to seemingly generate clouds which agitated which the scientists named Nimbus. Sure enough Tenjin was utilized as breeding stock in attempts to replicate his abilities and these were successful with his offspring being aged rapidly in order to be viable test subjects. Eventually these test subjects managed to rebell against their creators with Tenjin's son Fujin deciding to name the group of 35 sibling test subjects the Arashi Clan in memory of their sire.
The Arashi Clan in particular similar to other clans produced during that time-period were created in response to the Chakra Beast threat and as a result the unique Storm Release was modified specifically to not trigger the Element assimilation abilities of the chakra beasts. It was due to this, with help from their long time allies the Kukinorite Clan which likewise were created to counter Chakra Beasts along with other newly created clans humanity succeeded in making the chakra beasts extinct. Despite their original purpose, perhaps due to knowing of their mixed origins as well as holding on to the fact that they were at some point test subjects, the Arashi clan always had close ties to Nova often intermarrying with Soulless in particular fairly early on despite the initial stigma associated with them. This resulted in a further evolution of the Arashi Clan bloodline granting them a boosted chakra reserves and a weakened immunity from genjutsu gained from their Nova relatives.
Though not nearly as common as it was previously during the early formative years of the clan it is still common for an Arashi not marrying within the clan to end up with a Nova often a Soulless or an Inkan with the Water & Lightning release natures with absolutely no stigma attached to doing such. Due to their rich history with Nova they are perhaps one of the most friendly towards them and it is almost unheard of to find an Arashi clan member who is racist towards them simply due to the fact that often they either have relatives or or descended from a Nova somewhere in their lineage. In recent years after their move from Ibaragakure to Shigakure to be with their long time allies the Kukinorite Clan and both villages destruction the Arashi took to wandering becoming mercenaries lingering in the various islands in the Shinobi World. Despite their newly nomadic lifestyle they are still close knit simply deciding they wished for freedom and autonomy more than associating with one of the established territories. Now Arashi typically work as guides, mercenaries, explorers and navigators on ships using their natural affinity towards storms and weather conditions to find their way through the world at large.

Arashi during his tenure as Tetakage. Since then it has been utilized by skilled members of the Arashi clan due to it's composition and durability. Like all other weapons made from Maelstrite it is capable of storing Nimbus clouds within it, it has the largest amount of storage capable of all non restricted Arashi weapons totalling at 5. It shares the abilities of it's predecessors albeit enhanced with Nimbus only being able to be detected by those with A-rank wind displacement sensory. The orb attached to the club is a polished Sapphire with incoming chakra based attacked being conducted upward to said gem before being diverted out of it at vacuum release speeds giving the impression of being able to deflect chakra based attacks. Similar to the Arashi Bladerang, Arashi clubs are capable of acting like lightning rods redirecting Lightning release techniques towards it as long as they are A-rank and below. Each Arashi Club is forged with some of the clan members blood added to it so that their chakra signature is registered, this allows the Arashi Clan member to channel chakra through the club without it being diverted out from the gem. A single Arashi Club is given to every Arashi who passes the Hunter Exams to celebrate becoming a Hunter Nin while those with the Xel can buy one or more within their clan grounds. Due to occasionally being wrong in the Arashi Clan members post in the new topic assuming they are the first to post they can do an optional dice roll to see the weather for the topic or they can choose to stick with their "prediction" which results in the weather for that topic being what they guessed it would be. Description: Perhaps the reason the Maelstrite Alloy was created in the first place by Kaine Arashi after a combat accident made him forcibly retire and become a Blacksmith. Controlling Nimbus is taxing on an Arashi Clan members brain however when those Nimbus clouds are stored away and not focused on it frees up "space" for more to be produced however the main drawback occurs if an Arashi attempts to manipulate a Nimbus within a Maelstrite comprised weapon when they've reached their max threshold. This causes them to instantly sustain mental damage as well as a set number of Nimbus outside of a Arashi Weapon to instantly disperse as their focus is lost. The mental damage dealt is completely dependent on the number of Nimbus within said weapon while the number of Nimbus dispersed depends on the user's skill level. Description: An Arashi with sufficient practice can learn how to morph a Nimbus into another shape, it was on this premise that this skill was created by generations of Arashi clan members. The user is capable of altering the shape of the Nimbus into a weapon, whether a melee weapon such as a sword, a projectile such as a shuriken or a ranged weapon such as a bow with additional clouds being used as ammo. All the weapons made keep the durability of the cloud that they were made from and they are extremely light due to being made form the Nimbus. Despite that they are able to be used in place of the weapon that they were shaped to be dealing Storm Release Physical Damage when used in combat. Description: Due to their natural ability to exert themselves in order to boost the durability of their Nimbus most Arashi did not realize that there was an additional means of doing so. The first user of this technique was Haru Arashi one of the members of the Storm Corps. She layered one of her Nimbus clouds over another before twisting them together causing them to mix resulting in a darker Nimbus tinted slightly gray. Curiosity resulted in her doing it over again with another two clouds resulting in the same thing occuring, it was only until she layered the two gray clouds together than it changed once more now producing an even darker tinted Nimbus. This this technique was born, when layering Nimbus together it produces a denser version which possesses increased durability at the cost of being unable to seperate the clouds comprising it. This layered cloud when used in Storm Release techniques is always worth the amount used to form it, however due to not creating a new cloud but rather layering them over one another each one takes as much "Space" as the amount of Nimbus used to form them. Description: In order to utilize some of there strongest techniques involving Storm Release an Arashi must give up control over their Nimbus clouds causing said the Nimbus affected to ascend upward to become part of the clouds in the sky freeing up space in exchange for the Arashi no longer being able to control the clouds. Depending on the type of Nimbus whether it is a Nimbus, Cumulonimbus, Advanced Nimbus, Advanced Cumulonimbus, Perfect Nimbus, Perfect Cumulonimbus, Mesocyclone or Cyclone all of them rise into the air up to a certain distance before stopping while depending on the rank of the Arashi the number of clouds that rise due to one use of Ascension differs. Once used this technique as a 20 post (total) cooldown before it can be utilized again, similarily the Nimbus which have had ascension used on them keep the same durability as they had while under the Arashi's control. Description: This is a Nimbus technique which involves the user being clad in their Nimbus in order to grant them additional durability depending on how many clouds are layered on top of each other in the formation of this technique. The duration in posts (total) is equal to the number of clouds spent in the use of this technique during which no new clouds can be produced and upon the ending of this technique the clouds used to form this technique are all lost. When this technique is used with Variant Clouds however it grants resistance to the Variant Storm Technique line of the highest type of cloud comprising the Cloud Armor. For example an Adv. Nimbus cloud (I.e Firestorm Nimbus) will grant the Arashi resistance to the technique line of the Adv. Nimbus cloud and those under it (Firestorm Nimbus, Fire Cumulonimbus & Fire Nimbus) preventing the user from succumbing to the effects of their own techniques while clad in their armor. Similarily it converts the user's Taijutsu to Nintaijutsu techniques, to inflict the status effects of variant clouds with opponents with equal rank Chakra Tiers or 1-rank Higher Endurance Tiers being immune, while likewise inflicting additional Storm Release Chakra based damage on contact.

Description: Shizukana Shi, also known as Quiet Death is the Arashi Clan signature fighting style. For generations the Arashi clan has worked tirelessly to create a method of dispatching opponents that it would become their trademark. Such an opportunity was granted when Rayne Arashi created Molting Step. The premise was simple a sudden coiling of the muscles before moving caused opponents who were not focusing intently on him to be unable to track his movement. It's drawback however was that it was easily able to be detected by those with Muscle Tension or time-slowing dojutsu as well as the distance it could cover with one movement. Shizukana Shi was the systematic refinement of fighting opponents using Molting Step revolving around assasination without the opponent not only noticing what killed them but those around the target not hearing the death in question.

Description: Molting Step revolves around the user first hyperventilating in order to increase the heart rate thus allowing their blood to flow quicker through their body. The user then follows up by coiling the muscles in their legs before kicking off the ground and crossing a set distance at high speeds before taking another step. This distance is constant regardless of the speed used, with higher speed having the distance they are capable of travelling in a single post (total) being directly added onto this technique. During this movement opponents without D-rank Reaction Tiers, 1-rank Higher Speed, Muscle Tension or a Time-Slowing Dojutsu are unable to track their movement. This technique sets the precedent for all Categories (advanced variations) that come after it. As the user becomes more skilled at the use of Molting Step they can increase their distance however those Arashi Clan members who were unfortunate enough to be born with damaged chakra coils are capable of mastering it further by reducing the number of steps taken over said distance. Description: This is the art of moving silently, which Arashi have learned to do by virtue of watching others and encountering the users of the Silent Killing Technique. This involves the user adopting a crouching stance while moving landing with their heel first followed by a smooth rolling of the foot before pushing off the toe. This is done primarily to reduce the impact noise of their feet on a surface with opponents with normal hearing being unable to track their movement while likewise masking the impact vibrations of their feet from D-rank Vibration Sensory techniques.

Description: This is one of the few Storm Release techniques which doesn't make use of the variants. The Nimbus seems to rupture causing the air to become cloudy obscuring vision and causing those with chakra sensory techniques C-rank or below to detect the user's chakra signature spread over a 40 ft radius around the cloud. This technique requires a D-rank Wind Dispersal technique in order to clear it up and restore vision. When used however within the Hidden Mist Technique this technique is powered up by the former now spreading over an 80 ft radius around the cloud in question now requiring a C-rank Wind Dispersal technique to clear the area of it.

Description: The Arashi version of Silent Killing based on the principle of Shizukana Shi and a mastery of Molting Step. The Arashi do not have an enhanced sense of hearing, however they have become more than competent at stealth. They have learned how to track others by their footsteps as well as those using Silent Killing as long as they make more steps than the Arashi in question. When used however under the cover of an area concealment technique such as the Hidden Mist or Hiding in the Clouds technique the Arashi become much more difficult to detect while victims are only that much easier to find. Opponents who either have reaction tiers relying on senses other than Sight or Hearing equal to the speed the Arashi is moving are able to detect their physical attacks. Those who don't however require 1-rank higher speed to detect an Arashi's physical attacks while those who lack reaction at all either must have a B-rank sensory technique (excluding sound, sight or chakra) or 2-rank higher speed for them to be able to dodge the Arashi Clan members physical attacks.

Description: A simple yet lethal technique when employed correctly which involves an Arashi Clan member utilizing the Molting Step in order to disable at worst, or at best kill someone. There are three ways of doing such; the first being grabbing an opponent by the cloth on their neck or back and preforming Molting Step or any of it's variations, the second being intercepting a target moving at a slower speed than the user within the distance of two of the Arashi clan members steps and finally the third which involves palming a targets face at the immediate end of the distance between two of the Arashi Clan members steps. In the first case "grabbing a target" if they do not possess the speed tier the Molting Step is occurring at or Defense Tiers equal to that speed their neck is snapped due to the rapid increase in velocity. In the second case "intercepting a target" if they do not possess the speed tier the Molting Step is occurring at or their speed is not being backed by strength equal to said speed their neck is snapped due to the sudden change in velocity in a direction the victim was not originally going in. In the third case "impacting a target" if the target does not possess defense tiers equal to the speed the Molting Step occurs their neck is snapped, if they do not possess strength to root their body in place however their body is sent flying from the impact. Description: Molting Step while powerful is inherently flawed in comparison to other movement styles, it requires the Arashi to be calculating with exactly when or where they move as a misstep causes them to waste valuable life-force. Over time however the Arashi discovered that among those members of the clan who had parents, grandparents or any ancestry who regularly used Molting Step that their bodies had seemingly adapted to the strain to create modified Endurance Tiers who's sole purpose was to reduce the strain from preforming Molting Step. This is the second of such and works to decrease the number of steps by 11 (If Normal Arashi), 7 (If P.A.T Arashi) or 4 (If T.A.T Arashi), thus having a minimum of 1 Step at S-rank.

This technique can actually kill those who aren't prepared for it due to blood loss with those who use it and take more steps than their blood limit actually dying from blood loss after reaching their destination. The main improvement however is by combining it with Shizukana Shi: Silent Movement allowing the user to use them simultaneously resulting in a silent movement technique which is primarily used by the Arashi in order to escape or briefly keep up with those faster than them. The creator, Ryuujin Arashi created this technique in order to assist with the use of Molting Step however it was refined by future generations into the technique it is today. The user channels Storm Release chakra into their eyes allowing them to visualize wind currents which is retained until they blink (2 posts total) causing them to require a new price. Users of this technique with Endurance Tiers get more out of a single use by being able to hold their eyes open longer with every rank of endurance increasing the duration by 1 post capping out at 7 posts (total) with S-rank endurance tiers. The more chakra put into the activation of this technique the faster speeds which can be tracked by wind displacement sensory also capping at S.

Description: A method of throwing first down by channelling chakra into an Arashi Shuriken, Blade or Bladerang before throwing them at an opponent. This causes the slicing capabilities of the projectile to subtly lengthen as if the projectile was a mini storm cloud. Only those with wind displacement sensory high enough to detect the Nimbus within the projectile in question are able to notice the danger with every nimbus cloud within extending the slicing radius of the projectile by 6 inches. Due to the subtley of this technique it doesn't need to be placed in spoiler tags until triggered unless the opponent has D, C or B-rank wind displacement sensory. Description: The Arashi have peculiar weapons, but none more so than the Arashi Blade and the Arashi Bladerang. This technique is taught to all Arashi who decide to learn how to use the Arashi Blade in combat so as to teach them how to both throw and catch the weapon in question. The throw is the easy part it simply requires the Arashi to place their index and pinky fingers partially into the holes on the Arashi Blade before flicking the wrist as one extends their arm. This causes the Arashi in question to throw it 1-rank below the speed they used to remove their fingers from the hole or at the same speed at the cost of sustaining D-rank physical damage to their fingers. Catching it however is more complex, the easiest way of doing such is by using the Eye of the Storm and tracking the Blades movement through the air before snatching it out of the air by placing ones fingers in the holes with specific timing. This can however be done without using the Eye of the Storm depending on how skilled the user is being able to catch it 100 percent of the time if the speed it is moving is below their rank and 50 percent of the time (dice roll) if the speed it is moving is equal to their rank. It is impossible to catch it if it's moving higher than one's rank unless they possess a speed tier equal to it and use eye of the storm to track the movement otherwise they will end up getting sliced by the blade.

This was created by Kai Arashi after he was taught the Eye of the Storm by Ryuujin during the formers time in the Storm Corps. The projectiles are thrown at high speeds in order to trip an opponent up however it only showcases it's true potential when utilize with either the Arashi Shuriken, Arashi Blade or Arashi Bladerang with at least 1 Nimbus stored within them. This is due to the Arashi Clan member being able to correct any misses by manipulating the Nimbus within the projectile.

Description: The Arashi have peculiar weapons, but none more so than the Arashi Blade and the Arashi Bladerang. This technique is taught to all Arashi who decide to learn how to use the Arashi Bladerang in combat so as to teach them how to both throw and catch the weapon in question. The blades pop out at differing speeds depending on amount of Nimbus stored within, at default they always pop out at Bullet Release speeds, each Nimbus raises it by 1-rank capping out at Blinding Light when all 3 are stored within. Often when being thrown if the Arashi does not wish to have their fingers sliced off by their own weapon expanding they must always throw it at speeds faster than it can open. This causes the Arashi Bladerang to open up during flight often surprising opponents who are unprepared requiring 1-rank higher speed if they have already dodged it while the blades are still folded if they are within 2 feet of it. Arashi can however "cheat" by using the Nimbus within to delay the opening depending on the durability & number stored within. It was first utilized by Haru Arashi after she looted the body of a particularily strong swordsman, after studying it she decided to create a fighting style which could be combined with the Molting Step to great effect. Kumo-Ryu can be used with 5 different weapons certain techniques being exclusive to certain weapons these are; Chokuto, Tanto, Arashi Blade, Arashi Club & the Arashi Tomahawk. This displacement results in forced movement allowing them to alter their movement mid motion as well as accelerate, ascend, decelerate and turn at speeds that they do not usually possess. This momentum is generated through constant motion each post (total) by means of running or Molting Steps before suddenly halting the rapid change from active to passive being the strength of this kenjutsu style. Using the Body Replacement Technique to feign being attacked, the user takes advantage of their opponent's momentary shock, and charges forward with a lateral slash coming from the opponents blind spot moving at bullet release speeds. In order to further "sell" the illusion of being injured this technique can be used immediately during the body replacement with the illusion actually showing the sustained damage (blood, body parts etc) up to a post (total) after the technique has hit only for the user resurface unharmed. Due to it occuring the moment an attack hit it is capable of instantly hitting those too slow to react to the ruse requiring equal rank reaction tiers to the user's speed to dodge or speed tiers 1-rank higher than their own own for a glancing blow, those with the Time-Slowing Dojutsu or Muscle Tension being able to dodge as long as they have the same speed as the user.

Description: Requires Shadow Clone Technique. After creating several shadow clones which surround the enemy and attack them simultaneously all, at bullet release speeds, forcing them to jump into the air, the real user will then attack them from above capitalizing on the opponents vulnerability to impale them from above. Unless the opponent has C-rank reaction speed and an air movement technique they will be unable to dodge this technique. When utilized however in the Hidden Mist or Hiding within the Clouds technique it becomes even more dangerous with only opponents capable of detecting the user & possess an air movement technique being able to dodge this attack.

Description: The users uses their weapon to reflect a beam of light into an opponents eyes temporarily blinding them in order to leave them open for the follow up slash. This technique can be utilized in conjunction with any of the other Kumo-Ryu line of techniques in one smooth movement, the blind effect requiring reaction tiers equal to the user's current movement speed when they are using this technique for a target to close their eyes in time to avoid it, on normal opponents this technique blinds them for 2 posts (total) however on Dojutsu users due to their enhanced perception the blindness affects them for double the length of time. Those who are blind or manage to avoid getting the glint in their eyes are immune to the blindness added effect. This technique due to requiring light can only be preformed in an area which is lighted or has some source of light to reflect.

This technique is capable of slicing through A-rank physical objects as well as defense tiers due to it's impressive power born from sacrificing life-force to inflict A-rank spiritual damage and cause victims to bleed out losing a C-rank of blood each post total unless healed by a A-rank or above medical technique. Those with Ox's Stamina however are immune to the added effect instead sustaining B-rank physical damage.
Name: Kumo-Ryu: Jagged Beheading Classification: Kenjutsu/Kinjutsu Rank: S (8 Momentum Tokens Req.) Class: Offensive Range: Mid [Chokuto/Blade/Tomahawk]
Description: The user first positions their blade horizontally before utilizing Molting Step resulting in a lateral slash stretching over the entire distance between the first and second step. Depending on the speed reached victims are dealt equal-rank slicing damage however if they are not completely bisected they are dragged along with the blade interrupting a follow up attack until the motion is completed. If they root themselves in place with strength tiers however they are not dragged however the wound dealt to them is more grievous than before with victims losing an A-rank of blood each post (total) (Instead of losing a B-rank of blood each P.T when not anchored in place). The Arashi clan member while dragging an opponent with them always moves 1-rank slower than they would unburdened, however at the cost of prematurely ending their motion with another Step to move in another direction the blade is removed from the victims body with them continuing in the direction the Arashi clan member was originally going potentially sustaining additional damage if they collide into anything mid-flight. The plus however is if they do collide with anything it immediately halts their movement allowing them to regain their bearings.

Description: The Uzugan (Maelstrom Eye) was originally created through a mutation due to it's originator Devin U. Arashi's mixed heritage, her child would inherit the powerful dojutsu with it having mutated yet again stabilizing into it's true form rather than it's original mutated one. The Uzugan stems from four composite Dojutsu, and in it's initial form contained certain abilities from all of them, now however some of it's original abilities have been lost and others remolded to be unique to the Uzugan in question. This dojutsu has four abilities all of which are available upon manifesting and it has no evolved forms, instead upon becoming active it causes the user's eyes pupils to turn a shade of purple with numerous patterns within them centering around a sun-like pattern in the center which serves as the focus of the user's vision. The Uzugan's abilities each revolve around a specific band on the active dojutsu each work together to provide the user with amplified perception and vision however the user of the dojutsu is capable of reducing the power to their dojutsu in order to lower the drain it has on them. The Kazama Curse Mark line is in between the Origin & the Bachiatari Curse Seals in terms of ability to control with those that possess it being completely unable to train tiers naturally.
