The World Through Missions

Jinpachi walked through the hallways taking note of everything and everybody, these were the times he would reminisce on when he got older so he took in everything. He gave a mellow stride as he walked, his hair had sleep written all over it as he yawned, his black jacket and white shorts were baggy on him. As he walked into the off he would politely ask the receptionist for a mission.

Lets see here. I have a request to retrieve a dog that a Daiymo's wife had lost. Apparently it's a prize winning pit bull the size of your average ten year old. It best if you bring the dog back with every fur in place, she says that its harmless but we have reports suggesting otherwise. And there is a request from a teacher. Seems like most if not all her students have been skipping class and the Shogunate isn't pleased with how she's handling it. She's asking to help her locate the children and bring them to class or the poor girl will lose her job. Two academy students. Try not to rough them up too badly. The man said not looking at the boy, his eyes glued to the newspaper he was reading

Jinpachi would think about the two mission objective and which seemed more important and he quickly chose the mission to help the lady keep her job, he liked teachers but that was beside the point. “I’ll help the lady keep her job and go get those skippers.”

Walking out of the academy office Jinpachi had a sparkle in his eyes showing signs that he was determined to catch these culprits, they were unsuspecting that he was on their trail. He would walk down the hallways very mellow like trying to find the room of the teacher in distress so he could help with the problem. Jin needed a description of the boys or he was a lost as a sailorman at sea, he found the door some several minutes later but no biggie they couldn’t have gone where Jinpachi couldn’t find them. Walking into the classroom Jin was in shock not to see many people in there and that’s when he saw the major problem she was dealing with, angered more Jin would walk to her immediately asking for the skippers name and profiles so he could find them as soon as possible.

The teacher facial expression she gave Jin was one of grief, really kind of hard for the boy to look at; he really didn’t show his emotions to anyone and wasn’t about to start. The teacher gave him two pictures, names of the boys and a hint that they were in the cafeteria or at their dorms. One was wearing a green ninja outfit, a hot-head from Hakagakure and the other wore black and blue, a civilian girl from the land of greed who was a pompous bitch, the teachers words. On a mission Jinpachi left her with some encouraging words then left to go searching for them, walking down the hallways Jin was scanning and profiling everyone he saw looking for their clothes colors or a simple personality trait that matched theirs. Sadly no one that was around didn’t match the ones he was looking for…oh well on to the dorms, it took him a few minutes to get there and then find their specific door.

“If you’re in there Miku and Iori this is your chance to come out with your hands behind your back peacefully.” Jin was outside their door in a fighting stance he had been using to fight over the years, but don’t mistake him as weak he packs a punch. Nobody answered the door so Jin kicked it in with all his might but nobody was in there sadly. He didn’t want to waste more time so he took his lead from the teacher and went to the cafeteria, when Jin turned to go he heard snickering coming from the closet. Sneaking closer without making a noise he would open the door fast and threw a series of thrust towards their lower area, Miku and Iori would fall to the ground in pain as they couldn’t move their legs. Looking down at them he would scold them about how hard it was to find them and the amount of trouble that they were in. Dragging them both to the academy office Jin was in good spirits that he had successfully completed his first D-rank Mission that he ever took, really something to be proud of as an Academy Student. He would turn them in and wait for his reward of mission completion.

That was fast! The man said as he lifted his head up from behind the newspaper. The nervous wreck of a teacher was behind him pacing back and forth until she heard the mans statement and ran towards the boy. Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Now you guys know better than to skip class! I want a five thousand page report on the uses of genjutsu by tomorrow you understand? Now apologize to the young man for causing him trouble.. They both turned towards the boy and gave a bow. "Sorry". The teacher with a broad smile on her face grabbed them both by the collar and headed out the office.


Mission complete

Jin was happy he had completed his first mission as an Academy Student, he felt confident with himself as he would ask the recptionist for another mission that he could take. "May I get another mission, maybe a C-rank I kind of want to test myself today. " This was a testy choice in Jin's mind as it went against his mellowness, sort of threw his vibe off but he would make up for it with effort.

Sure, your in luck we have a C-rank mission to deal with a pack of wild dogs which have been loitering in the housing district and are terrorizing anyone who get's to close to them. Normally we'd send a chunnin instructor to go kill them off, but you seem eager so why don't you deal with them, get rid of them however you like as long as they don't lurk on the grounds anymore. the receptionist said as she chewed on a wad of gum before blowing a bubble and then having it pop before she continued chewing. She pulled out the mission scroll and would place it on the counter so he could pick it up and would go back to dealing with her paperwork.

Jinpachi would grab the mission scroll off the receptionists’ desk thanking her as he left out of the academy office and into the hallway. Jin would start walking towards the housing district while he opened the mission scroll again, a pack of wild dogs he would repeat over in his mind. He was in a mellow mood but he would soon be testing his prowess against some savages, him or them that’s how it had to be in this situation. Jin found a resolve in himself to kill these beasts if he had to, after a few moments of walking and spacing out Jin would find himself closing in on the housing district.

After acquiring some new jutsu Jinpachi had come up with a game plan to stop the wild dogs without killing them, pointless killing wasn’t necessary to the Mikaboshi if he didn’t feel compelled to. He would sneak around the housing district until he heard a noise in the form of a scream for help, possibly a growl showing signs of aggression. The quietness kept Jinpachi on his toes but he was calm keeping control of the situation, walking around a corner Jin would stumble upon a few of the dogs cuddled up sleeping together. “How cute, too bad I have to put you guys down.” He would whisper almost teasing them in a way while they were in slumber.

Jin didn’t expect for them to be asleep when he was thinking out his plan so that kind of put a hold on them for later use. “Damn, how will I get them all in one swoop while they’re asleep?” The boy thought long and hard about that question not noticing that he had awakened one of the wild dogs, it would growl in dislike stupidly alerting Jinpachi. He would turn around quickly assessing the new situation at hand, he was thirteen feet away from them and only one of them was awake at the moment but soon the others would awake as the first dog would bark loudly.

In no time the numbers of the wild dogs had risen to nine in a matter of seconds, this greatly made things worse for Jin because he had no idea of their capabilities. “Why didn’t you think about the consequences of talking around sleeping wild dogs…stupid.” Jin was outnumbered but not out of the mission just yet, he had let Lio his amatsu come out of hiding and join the battle finally. Lio had circled around Jin letting him know that it was ready to get started. He would send Lio to go high into the air to distract the dogs for a moment, being creatures of less intelligence they fell for it. Jin took that opurtunity to close the gap by using his Dispatch Vortex technique. Seemingly teleporting Jin would take out three of the dogs by thrusting them in the forehead, he hoped it didn’t kill them but it happened in missions all the time.

Jumping in the air Jinpachi would activate his new genjutsu called Flash Genjutsu to blind the rest of the dogs, paralyzed from the shock of being caught in a gen Jin would have Lion assist him in taking out the rest of the dogs. It wouldn’t take but a few minutes until he finished off and disposed of the dogs, he was calmer now and realized that he just completed his first C-Rank Mission and it felt really great for the boy. He could feel his confidence in his abilities rise as he walked back to the academy office; walking it he greeted the receptionist with a huge smile. “My mission has been completed.”

Now that Jinpachi had completed his first missions of D and C Rank he felt like a unstoppable force going to the glory, whatever the hell that means. He went home for a few hours to train and rest but surely enough he came running to take another mission, it was always fun to help accomplish things in the academy. It didn't look bad on his record that he successfully completed a bunch of missions while here either, so he walked in the office with a mellow smile on his face. "Any C-ranks for me today?'

Yep two one lady needs her House clean and it is pretty big as most lords and ladys have big houses, the other one is simply removing some Vespoid who have been killing chickens at a farm. The man said from behind his desk without even looking up i mean why would he.

Jinpachi would grin as he accepted the first mission to clean the ladys’ huge house; he would get the directions to said location and leave the academy office with the mission scroll. He was headed back home to change and get into some worn out clothes that he could dispose of later after cleaning the would be filthy house. All he could think about while leaving out his dorm room was all the trash a huge house that belonged to a Lady produce, he was surely about to find out. He would lock his door behind him and start his journey towards her large mansion.

It would take him a while to get there as the girls Jin saw kind of distracted him, he would quickly get back on track and continue on his way. “The receptionist said four corners past the team housing area, so I should be rightttt there in a few minutes.” Just as you knew it Jinpachi had finally reached his destination with no harm done, he was in a mellow mood as he walked ever so slowly to the large golden door to ring the bell. “Yo! I’m here to clean your big house ma’am!” After waiting a few seconds Jin would hear the door opening and a petite woman would be there to greet him, how though was unimaginable to the young boy. “Aren’t you so cute!! I could just eat you up, come on and get in here!”

With the door slamming behind him he knew that is was time to put up or shut up, the lady would give him a list of various chores to do. She would kiss the boy on the cheek then walk to the back and closed her door, you could tell she had company by the way she laughed and giggle in there so loudly. Jinpachi surprisingly still mellow would get straight to work so he could get back home and relax for the day, first task was the kitchen. Walking in there he would see the sink completely overfilled with dishes, pretty nasty for a gorgeous house on the outside he thought but would start washing them the old fashion way. It would take him a full three house just to get it done; the noise from the lady’s bedroom had settled she must’ve fell asleep with her company in her room.

Focusing he would begin his next set of chores which was the three bathrooms; one could imagine what it looked like if the kitchen looked that horrible. Marching on with a positive mental he would enter bathroom number one. It was decent in size  with and tub and the works something he liked very much, it would take him a few minutes of spraying and scrubbing but he got the job done spick and span. Moving on to the second bathroom Jinpachi would hear some strange sounds he use to hear his mother make when she was alone with papa, he would laugh and go into bathroom number two.

Looking a shit ton worse than the first one Jin wanted to cry but he held through, this one was tougher in the scrubbing department due to some terd stains on the toilet. If he wasn’t getting paid for this he would’ve been like fuck it, but he loved the money so he did it. Finally coming into bathroom three Jin would noticed it was already cleaned, his luck. His last task was to vacuum the whole house top to bottom which took him all of two hours. By the time Jin had reported in his facial expression was one of defeat, the house work was a bit much but the lady loved his services and welcomed him back anytime.

He had made it back to the Academy office right before it closed for today turn in his slip for mission completion; it was his third successful mission. It seemed like he was coming up in this world and making a name for himself and some extra xel.

Jinpachi was in a good mood as ever, he wanted to take another mission before he went and turned Genin rank, the young boy was growing up. He would wait outside a minute with Lio going over what was really taking place in his mind, brushing it off didn't help but he had work to do. Jin walked up to the receptionist with a smile thinking hopefully they were something awesome it didn't really matter the rank of the mission he would receive.

The receptionist glanced over at Jinpachi with a smile. Hold on! I think I got just the right mission for you. The receptionist flipped through her files over to the D & C-rank mission requests. The receptionist frowned. Alright. Here's one, it wasn't really the one I was looking for but it is good enough for you. The receptionist said with a light tone. This is a D rank mission. Three families in the northeastern side of Kaosgakure need helping unpacking their things and items after moving in yesterday. Your mission is to go help them unpack, get settled in, and helping organize. Do whatever they say to do no matter how hard to job is. Got it?

"You do know Kaosgakure is on the other side of the world right?" The young Mika would shake his head at the receptionist for offerering such a mission like that to the young lad, he was only six. "How about something here at the academy perhaps?" Anything here would be fine enough to quell his hunger for a mission streak that was burning inside of him clawing to get out.

The receptionist looked back down at the files in the D rank section, for some thing to do around the academy. The receptionist found one immediately. Okay, here. This is a D rank mission. There are two things you need to do. A) Go help the janitor clean the classrooms & B) Go around and help the dorm administrators help tame and control some of the students living there. They are getting out of control. How about that? The receptionist looked back at Jinpachi with concern.

Jinpachi would think a second about the mission objectives that the receptionist had given him before shaking his head in denial. "I Would prefer a C-rank mission if you don't mind?" With his new genin title he would want more responsibility with the missions.

Hmm well we don't have any in stock at the moment perhaps you can come again later and get one, or you can just do this one first and maybe we will get one by the time you come back. The receptionist said nicely as she politely shattered his dreams of going on a C-rank mission at the moment, there was a reason why she always offered D-ranks first, no one wanted to do a D-rank when they could just do a C-rank instead, but hey someone had to do them and this time it was Jinpachi.

Jinpachi was pissed about the situation at hand but hey what could he really do about it, he would grab the mission scroll and leave out of the academy office. This mission was simple all he had to do is clean and then put some kids in check, really it was no biggie to the young Mikaboshi at all. Walking down the hallway Jin would be looking for the janitors’ office so he could start on the mission while he was still in a mellow mood, after a few minutes of searching he would finally stumble upon it. Knocking a little hard a tall grouchy, husky man would answer scratching his ball sack, pretty nasty in Jin’s opinion but he was they man to talk to for all this madness. “You ready to clean this place sir, I’m sure it will be fun and exciting.” The expression on Jinpachi’s face was completely different than the words that just came out of his mouth, being sarcastic was the only thing he could do without getting mad. Then the janitor would burst into laughter while slapping Jinpachi in the back causing him to kneel down in pain as it was sharp, dusting himself off then getting back up he would notice some cleaning supplies that he would be using for the cleanup. The janitor would grab his cart and they would be on their way to the first class, it was quite messy but nothing they couldn’t handle. Making small talk to get through the job without music was all there was to do really, they would talk about Jin past life and his time here at the academy while the janitor talked about his hope and dream of becoming wealthy enough to quit this job. Jin sort of felt bad for the man because this was all he knew, this was his world and that enraged him because there was more to life than that. It took a few hours but they clean up the classrooms and the janitor sent him on his way to handle the other task while he reported that Jin successfully completed his first mission objective. Now walking down the hallways again Jin was out looking for the dorm administrators so he could get the list of trouble makers and be on his way to get another mission. The admin who was there gave him a list with pictures and locations of the perps he was to take out, it would prove difficult the admin said. Taking off Jin would go off searching at Swift Release speeds, in no time he would find two of them picking on a young girl, Jin growled before sending two ghastly palms at the boys knocking them clean out and off their feet he would have the girl bring them in. Jin caught up with the last of the perps spraying ink all over the walls, silently Jin would use his shadow possession jutsu two trap them all without hassle. He would then have Lio go knock them unconscious, it was a hard day of work but this wrapped it up for Jinpachi, he would return to the academy office mellow and very happy to finally complete the mission. “ Mission Completed.”

Jinpachi would return to the receptionist desk a few hours later after eating his meal for the day, he was quite full to say the least. Yawing he would be letting out some stress from all the preparation he has been going through with the exams and all but he was more the ready for any mission. "Got and missions for me, D or C rank i'm comfortable with whatever." He would wait with a blank look on his face, he was just ready to get going on a mission.

Instead of giving a proper amount of time, Jinpachi decided to come sooner than later. The same receptionist from earlier would be there and would shake her head. You might wanna try back tomorrow for higher ranked missions. For now all we have is some D-ranks, a good one being babysitting a high rankings kid while they are out.

Jinpachi was pissed all he wanted to do was take a C-rank mission so he could make up for lost training time, shaking his head he would violently snatch the mission scroll of the receptionist desk before storming out the office. “Better this then not I suppose.” He thought to himself after he had calmed down a bit, usually he would never get angry like that but everybody has their weak moments when they are passionate about something important. Jinpachi cleared his mind of all thoughts of anger and made himself happy before he came face to face with a higher up.

Watching the child of a higher up did seem like an important job now that Jinpachi thought about it, so with great vibes he walked up and rang the large doorbell of the higher up’s home. A titanic man had opened the door to greet the young Mikaboshi, he reached his large had out for a proper manly greeting so Jinpachi shook his hand but was pulled in the house when he did so. “Ahh you’re here good now I can leave and nev-.” He would pause with a suitcase in his hands but one could imagine what the rest of his sentence was going to be but Jin hoped he was mistaken about that thought.

As the man was getting things ready he showed Jinpachi were the food was the child of course and where some emergency cash was at in case they need to head to town and pick up some things. As the man left the child came out crying for the higher up to come back, it was a green haired little punk named Gin. He looked down a Jinpachi as he would do to others and boy he sure didn’t like that feeling. “You better watch how you look at me punk I would stare to long.” Jin didn’t mean for that to slip out but it did and the boy had to deal with it just a Jin had to put up with the wrath this boy brought upon him. He went around the house breaking dishes, ruining furniture, and pouring food everywhere.

The house was a mess and Jinpachi had to clean it all up due to the maid not being on schedule today, what a bitch it was to be Jin right now. First he started with the broken dishes cleaning them up so no one would cut themselves on a piece of one even though he hoped Gin did in fact cut himself. He would then move onto the furniture, running down the steps he would force Gin to fix the couches while he cleaned up the food from everywhere. A full day’s work cleaning up after this scoundrel and he was finally done, surprisingly Gin’s father came back and with that Jinpachi happily took his leave and headed back to the academy office to report his mission completion to the receptionist, once done the boy would head home for a well-deserved nap.

The day was new and Jinpachi was feeling great from the long rest after the mission he took yesterday, he was well rested. Walking into the academy office, Jinpachi would make his way towards the receptionist desk in need of a mission today. "Hi may I have any of your C-rank missions you have today?" It would be helpful for the young genin in gaining experience as a shinobi through missions.
