Kekkai Genkai Clan Information: The Fushichō look no different than any other human. The common trait between all the Fushichō are their piercing yellow eyes, the color of their hair varies with the commonality that they always share colors with fire (Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, White). Personality wise nothing is really set for them, but they all seem to have the equally highest respect for fire. In terms of skin color the lightest amongst them have a tanned complexion while the darkest amongst them can skin as dark as charcoal. Within this clan lies a ritual, which follows the phoenix’s aspect of reincarnation. As one of their members die, if they are in possession of the body, they will literally burn that body to ash and place a newborn baby, the baby must be under 1 year old, within the ashes. Following the phoenix’s aspect of reincarnation, as the baby is placed within the ashes, the chakra of the person who was reduced to ash will flow into that baby, with the new life being used to stoke the flames of the old one into rebirth. It is for this reason that the clan places a higher regard to infertile members of the clan as new members can be born into the clan via ritualistic sacrifice rather than giving birth to a new Fushicho. Priority is given to those amongst the clan who have achieved the most in life, with those with higher status being exclusively reborn from a sacrificed Fushicho newborn. These practices were further refined in the past when they had joined the Pandora Empire to such a degree that it became common practice to preform the ritual on a pregnant woman in order to facilitate the rebirth of a Clan Head, Clan Heir or a Clan Elder. Kekkei Genkai: Ash Release is the advanced chakra nature kekkai genkai of the Fushichō clan that combines fire release and life release based chakra natures so the user can manipulate the ash created by flames freely. The downside of this chakra nature is because ash is only be created under the certain conditions then the user does not have an infinite supply of ash to manipulate, they are limited the amount of ash within the area. Brimstone Release is the Kekkei Hen-ho (Bloodline Variant) of the Fushicho Clan, a far more potent version of their Ash Release which is a result of tapping into the energies from Limbo. Once it was thought that Kekkei Tōta were the pinnacle of Elemental Manipulation however this was proven not to be the case as certain Clans which possess Elemental Bloodlines were able to refine their advanced elemental bloodlines into Kekkei Mōra capable of rivalling Advanced Dojutsu & Advanced Body Bloodlines. Acrylic Release is the Kekkei Mōra (Bloodline Encompassing) of the Fushicho Clan, which entails the manipulation of an artificial substance which is transparent, shatterproof, elastic and boasts a high resistance to both high temperatures and oil. Like all Kekkei Mōra their possession triggers Regression if one has awakened prior to obtaining them while acting to Sacrifice the ability to Awaken in those who have yet to do so. - Clan History:
This clan actually happened by a twist of fate. On a mission to a faraway land one shinobi came across a city called Heliopolis. Within the city there was a large tower with where the man saw a large blaze reaching up to the sky. Feeling concerned he traveled to the top of the tower to see that the fire was being caused by a burning nest. The flames were intense but the man walked into it in search of any life, but the weird thing is that the man didn’t die from the flames. Actually as he walked through the flames his body started to glow and the flames traveled into his body. Apparently he arrived the second the previous phoenix had been reduced to ash and before the next phoenix can arise. Thanks to that split second the phoenix’s power was absorbed by the man and he took the place as the next phoenix, ironically due to absorbing the flames his eyes turned red from their previous blue color.
Continuing his mission he soon figured out that not only could his body turn to fire, this was found out by accident when he burned a forest down during his sleep, and later found out that he could control the ash created by the flames. He later took control over his power then returned to his village where he made a family, only to figure out that his children now held the same power he gained. As his life went on, just to be like the phoenix he asked that his body be reduced to ash. His body being reduced to ash, only led to another accident that being one of his grandchildren falling into his ashes. Later on in that child’s life they figured out that the child acquired his jutsus, chakra, knowledge, and fighting ability. This brought life to their ritual which they have been following ever since along with the clan flourishing over the years.
Upon the clans arrival to the Origin Continent as they hailed from a small shinobi village not part of those major powers yet were equally affected by the war the Fushicho established themselves a powerful force. They quickly very closely aligned with the Bishamon Clan with whom they shared a kindred with due to their reverence of the Sun and the light it shone down on the world. This plus their systematic breeding with members of the Aero Tribe of dobutsu and their avian characteristics brought them into swift conflict with the Zakiyoshi. This was due to a chance meeting during a battle between a group of Bishamon and Mikaboshi in the Era of Warring State which resulted in the Mikaboshi's allies getting involved and forcing the Fushicho to join to protect their own allies. Ever since then tensions between the two clans have given risen to the second oldest Blood Feud in clan history.

It does however mean that they are capable of jumping higher than normal individuals but likewise sustain additional knock-back distance when afflicted by such things. The flames themselves are not that hot to the touch even though they can burn objects on contact (Fire Release Physical Dmg) and set things ablaze the true potential of this ability lies within the intangibility granted by their flaming form. This is due to them being granted not only physical immunity but likewise flight and most importantly the Fushichō Clan member's ability to produce Ash materia each P.T they spend within their flaming form in order to make use of Ash Release techniques. Due to being comprised of fire they are extremely weak to water, at least until the males gain their Plume feathers whereas female Fushichō are always in danger as contact with water not only quenches them to deal damage to them but likewise reverts them to their tangible state leaving them unable to transform back for sometime (Turns). Description: The Fushichō are functionally immortal, this is in regards to when one dies they burn out and turn into ashes. If a newborn Fushichō or even a newborn in general they are reincarnated into that child. In the case of a Fushichō they retain the memories of their past life, however in the case of a newborn they may get deja-vu with things which remind them of their past life and typically due to the lingering remnants of the Fushichō end up having a child or marrying into the clan. This process however can be sped up drastically if the Fushichō is killed by flames of any type (Fire, Blaze, Ghost Fire & Yugure Flames) as after a complete of hours to days they will eventually be born anew from the ashes of their carcass at their original age though weakened until the end of the topic they were reborn in. If there are no trace of their burnt corpse left they are born as a newborn from flames lingering within the area quenching the flame once they come back to life. This was a gift they obtained through their bond with the Phoenix Contract as their familiars are capable of a much more potent version of this ability seeing as Phoenix are true immortals. However if all of the flames in the area are snuffed out they can still be reborn if a flame is started in the same location or near where they died up to a certain point after which they will be unable to do so and thus end up truly deceased. Description: Dim-Mak is an ancient technique that has been practiced in secret for centuries stemming from a long forgotten school of martial arts which placed emphasis on the "Soft" style of taijutsu. An ancestor of the Fushicho Clan who attended said school would refine it overtime through the assistance of the Bishamon Clan to transform it into the deadly style that it is now. Description: The Fushicho version of Dim-Mak can be summarized into four different types of techniques, the first being footwork based with a focus on positioning oneself whether on the ground or in the air so that the user appears to flutter around their foe like a bird. This technique entails the user hopping with one foot, either normally or while using Sol Fire in order to cover distances in an erratic movement which makes it difficult to keep track of overtime. With constant movement an opponent will find the Fushicho slipping out of their awareness unless they possess a D-rank or above sensory technique which grants panoramic vision or D-rank Barrier Tiers. Name: Rebirth Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Due to the phoenix-like attributes of the Fushichō clan, each one of them is born with the ability to be reborn from ash. If they died from natural causes then the Fushichō ritual will take place. But if they are still alive and their body is reduced to ash they are able to return to life out of that pile of ash. This doesn’t make fire jutsus useless against them but it means that killing them with fire jutsus is useless because they will only come back to life.
Name: Phoenix Fire Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Some legends have said that phoenixes are birds completely composed of fire itself and the Fushichō have adapted their bodies so they can follow this. The Fushichō can literally turn their bodies into fire, which would allow most attacks to pass through them, with the limit being they can only allow ninjutsu equal to their rank or lower to pass through them but all taijutsu can pass through them.In addition while in this form they cannot use any taijutsu and their flames will deal 1 rank lower than their rank. But this isn’t a constant passive as it can be turned on and off at the user’s discretion. There is also one condition where this ability cannot be used, because the main chakra nature of this clan is Ash Release, then once enough ash has been created their ability to turn their bodies into fire is neutralized. Depending on rank it takes 5 posts of a constant flame burning the surroundings for academy student and genin’s ability to be neutralized, 10 posts of a constant flame for chunin and T. Jonin, and 15 posts of a constant flame for jonin and higher. Until enough ash is produced the clan member cannot use ash release. Depending on the rank of the fire jutsu the count maybe lowered: C-rank fire jutsus will lower the count by 1, B-rank will lower the count by 2, A-rank will lower the count by 3, etc.
Name: Reincarnation Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: The ritual of the Fushichō clan. When one of their members dies and their body is reduced to ash then the clan would place the recently born baby, as long as the baby is under 1 year old, in that ash and the baby would receive all that person’s chakra, jutsus, fighting ability, and knowledge. This would mean that not all the Fushichō will gain access to another’s chakra, but the ones that do are the strongest amongst the clan with chakra levels reaching much higher than nova. For each person that is reincarnated into another than the chakra is doubled. Because of this ritual the Fushichō clan tends to continue to reincarnate people who have previously reincarnated into others, constantly making their clan stronger.
Name: Ash Inhale Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Due to the Fushichō having phoenix-like attributes they are able to absorb ash into their bodies, through their mouths, as a way of healing themselves from the inside out. The absorption of ash can heal all wounds caused by damage equal to the user’s rank and only seal wounds one rank higher, but this can only be used 3 times in battle.
Name: Phoenix Body. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: D Class: Passive. Range: Self.
Description: While Pheonix are known for death and rebirth by fire, they are also known for nesting in it, and a Pheonix dying accidentally of it's own flames is nonetheless unheard of. Natural flames and flames of their own creation do not harm a living Fushichō, and instead feel warm and soothing to them.
Name: Renewal of Life. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: D Class: Passive. Range: Variable.
Description: Ashes to ashes, cinders to bone. As flames are known to burn things to ashes, a phoenix is known for rising again. This technique uses that concept to create life release techniques anywhere the user has scattered ashes, spawning them from unorthodox ways such as sideways or even suspended upside down as the Fushichō's ashes "spring to life."

Name: Phoenix's Promise. Classification: Fuuinjutsu. Rank: C. Class: Supplementary. Range: Self.
Description: A special seal that only the head of the Fushichō clan may learn. It enables the use of the jutsu exclusive to that position as well as sealing a tiny portion of their soul. This sealing enables the Fushichō clan head's ashes to be recovered under unfavourable circumstances and prevents their soul from being lost through various means, ensuring that their strength will live on for the benefit of future generations.
Name: Ancestral Recollection. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: B. Class: Passive. Range: Self.
Description: A technique which can be learned upon achieving the rank of Chuunin, where the user gains a proper, full access to the memories of their past lives on a permanent basis. This requires the Phoenix's Promise to learn naturally. This recollection greatly improves the Fushichō's capacity for learning and teaching alike by augmenting their memories with the wisdom of those who came before, allowing them to both learn and teach any jutsu via training that they would be capable of using.
Name: Phoenix Affliction. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: S-rank. Class: Supplementary. Range: Short.
Description: A technique where the user molds chakra inside themselves and then forcibly inflicts the Phoenix Fire state, on another being through touch. This effect literally turn their bodies into fire, which would allow most attacks to pass through them, with the limit being they can only allow ninjutsu equal to the user's rank or lower to pass through them but all taijutsu can pass through them.In addition while in this form they cannot use any taijutsu and their flames will deal 1 rank lower than their rank. Without actually possessing the Phoenix Fire technique, the only way to remove this state is at the user's will or by killing the user. While not immediately dangerous and, indeed, beneficial at first glance, this technique is dangerous primarily for the simple fact that non-Fushichō cannot change back. When their time runs up (through sufficient production of ash), they simply disappear as they are unable to maintain their flaming form or return to their original state, leaving only their ashes behind. This process takes 15 posts, as this technique's rank restricts it to those of Jonin rank or above. The use of fire jutsu during this process, however, accelerates the process depending on the rank of fire jutsu used the count may be lowered: C-rank fire jutsus will lower the count by 1, B-rank will lower the count by 2, A-rank will lower the count by 3, etc.
Name: Reborn Souls Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: SS-rank Class: Supplementary Range: All Ranges
Description: To those granted the Phoenix’s Promise, through the release of the Phoenix’s Promise Seal, from the user’s body a massive amount of ash will engulf the area as a vortex around the user capable of blocking S-rank and lower jutsus and SS-rank fire jutsus, the vortex lasts for 3 posts. Inside the vortex, human skeletal structures will form, the amount of skeletal structures being formed is equal to the amount of Fushicho clan head souls stored in the Phoenix’s Promise seal, this will happen the first post of the vortex. In the chests of each skeletal structure, flames will appear, representing each clan head’s soul, this flame will allow the skeletal structures to talk and walk about in the same manner of the clan head they represent, this will happen on the second post of the vortex. Before the vortex is dispersed, the ash from the vortex will cover skeletal structures creating skin, fully creating the former clan heads out of ash. Once fully formed, the vortex will explode releasing ash across the area, and the “reborn” clan heads are capable of completely using every jutsu they knew when they were alive as well as, as long as the ash in the area is around they are capable of completely reforming if destroyed, they can only be destroyed by 5 S-rank, 3 SS-rank, or 1 SSS-rank jutsu each. After this jutsu has been used, the souls of the clan heads are lost forever.
Flame Release:Name: Primordial Flames Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D Class: Supplementary Range: Variable. Description: A Fushichō's flame is incomparable to those who have only lived once. By focusing the concept of eternity into their flames, the Fushichō creates a primordial flame which, when compared against other flames or elements of which flame would be ineffective, are instead treated as if they were elementally neutral. Name: Controlled Phoenix Fire Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C Class: Supplementary. Range: Self. Description: Just like it says on the label, Controlled Phoenix Fire is an advanced form of the Phoenix Fire technique where the Fushichō can literally turn parts of their body into fire, which allow most attacks to pass through them with the limit being they can only allow ninjutsu equal to their rank or lower to pass through them but all taijutsu can pass through them. In addition while in this form they cannot use any taijutsu with the transformed body parts and their flames will inflict burns equal to their rank. But this isn’t a constant passive as it can be turned on and off at the user’s discretion. Description: A simple and efficient technique that marks one of the staples of Fushichō flame-element ninjutsu, this technique produces firework like streamers of fire which fly at the rank of the user and strike at 1-rank below the user's. The number of streamers produced are also determined by the user's rank, increasing by ten with every rank with an initial count of five at Genin. Name: Fushichō Style: Phoenix Vestment Technique Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B Class: Defensive/Offensive. Range: Self. Description: A technique where the user molds chakra within their body and expels it from their pores, producing a fiery coating along their skin that protects against up to B-rank attacks, setting things that touch it ablaze. It naturally lasts for six turns before requiring a two post cooldown. It can also optionally produce sufficient ash to use ash jutsu (similar to the Phoenix Fire technique), though this is not required. Name: Fushichō Style: Phoenix Dance. Classification: Nintaijutsu. Rank: B. Class: Supplementary. Range: Short. Description: A technique designed for use in conjunction with the Phoenix Fire technique where the user produces a flame of sufficient density where it can shift back and forth from a solid state. This technique allows the Fushichō clan member to use other Taijutsu while in the Phoenix Fire state, greatly improving their flexibility. Name: Fushichō Style: Armor of the Phoenix. Classification: Nintaijutsu. Rank: A Class: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive. Range: Self. Description: An advanced technique where the user sheathes their body in an armor of fire, producing a furnace-like heat that is sufficient to deflect attacks of A-rank or below. The user's physical attacks are also enhanced, adding an A-rank of flame damage as well as setting things they strike alight, inflicting a constant C-rank of penetrating damage per turn until the fire is extinquished by a B-rank or above technique or C-rank water technique. Additionally, the user can rapidly disperse heat-based techniques which are insufficient to overpower the furnace-like outer shell, which requires a speed greater than that of the user's rank. Name: Fushichō Style: Eternal Blaze. Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive. Range: AoE. Description: Just like the Phoenix dies and is reborn in flames, the Fushichō clan member can enwreath themselves in a fiery battlefield spreading thirty meters in which everything is set ablaze in an imitation of their funeral pyre. The initial burst of flames are of A-rank intensity, and the lingering flames, which last for five turns, inflict B-rank burns each turn that ignore the target's defensive measures which are not designed specifically for flames. Name: Fushichō Style: Phoenix Rain. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: S-SS Class: Offensive. Range: Long. Description: Moulding chakra inside their body, the Fushichō clan member directs and expels it through their arm or arms in a sweeping gesture, like the beating of wings. For a single arm used, the Fushichō showers their opponent with hundreds of feather-like projectiles of flame which move at S-rank speeds and have S-rank power. However, if the Fushichō performs this technique with both arms, the amount of projectiles is magnified significantly, as thousands of feather-like projectiles of flame soar towards the opponent. When used in this manner, this technique's power and speed is raised dramatically, improving it's power to SS-rank and making it so that it cannot be evaded by those with less than Ripping Discord speed Life Release:Name: Phoenix's Wing. Classification: Nintaijutsu. Rank: D-S Class: Offensive. Range: Short. Description: A Fushichō clan member is by nature fluent at turning their own bodies into weapons. Like any other Life-release user, they are capable of producing blades and other weapons out of their own bones, but they also possess the tempering effects of the Flame-release. With this combination, they are capable of creating flaming weaponry of their own bones which are tempered by flames to be strong and durable as their own rank, also causing flame damage equal to one below their rank. Name: Fushichō Style: Resolution of Life and Death. Classification: Nintaijutsu. Rank: D-A. Class: Supplementary. Range: Short. Description: By coating their skin with an invisibly thin layer of bone and tempering it, a Fushichō clan member is capable of providing a stalwart natural defense. A Fushichō clan member with this technique is not effected by physical attacks up to 1-rank below the user's rank. Name: Fushichō Style: Forest of the Ancestors. Classification: Ninjutsu. Rank: A Class: Offensive/Supplementary. Range: AoE. Description: A bone release technique where the user turns the area around them into an inescapable net of jagged spears and splinters of bone. Everything within a hundred meters is filled with sharp protrusions of bone, inflicting damage equal to the opponent's speed (if above E) for every movement made. As a physical object reinforced with chakra, this field lasts until it is destroyed, which can be achieved with an S-rank or above technique. Once per post, the user can manipulate the forest to make an attack on the enemy, moving and striking at the user's rank. These attacks consume no chakra beyond that of it's original creation. Ash Release:Name: Ash Tracking Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long Description: The clan member releases a large cloud of ash while linking his chakra to it allowing them to track opponents caught in the ash proportional to their rank once this link has been made the opponent is unable to hide from the clan member unless their hiding jutsu exceeds the users rank. Name: Ash Camouflage Classification: Genjutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long Description: By dispersing ash into the air by means of Ash Tracking or Ash Mist the clan member can also trigger a genjutsu that is as strong as their rank which causes the opponent not to register the clan member in their field of vision. Making it as if they aren't even their, this doesn't go away even if the opponent is hit as it can only be removed by destroying the ash as the opponent would simply get trapped once more upon breaking out of the genjutsu Name: Shadow in the Ashes. Classification: D Rank: Ninjutsu. Class: Supplementary. Range: All ranges. Description: By dispersing ash into the air by means of Ash Tracking or Ash Mist, the clan member can instantly travel to another point within the ash once if genin or chunin, twice if jounin, thrice if Sannin or Kage per day. Their bodies are temporarily turned to ash and they are simply reborn anywhere they want within the ash. Name: Ash Sphere Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long Description: The clan member releases a large sphere of ash about the same size as great fireball jutsu from gathering the ash remaining from their Phoenix fire and releasing it towards the opponent. This attack deals C-rank damage as well as smothers out any same rank flame techniques it comes in contact with with the additional effect of being able to dissolve in water to create a corrosive acid. Name: Ash Tornado Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Offensive/ Defensive Range: Short Description: The clan member forms a tornado of ash around themselves while spinning rapidly. This technique can be used defensively as it can redirect C-rank physical techniques as well as block a C-rank chakra technique not including fire which it blocks up to B-rank, however its real power lies in offensive which when the clan member kicks an opponent the Ash tornado swarms along that point constantly rotating and actually being powerful enough to drill a hole through the opponents body as well as pierce through B-rank defenses. Name: Ash Wall Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Defensive Range: Short Description: The clan member creates a wall of ash from gathering the ash remaining from their Phoenix fire and uses it to protect them from a B-rank technique, in addition due to the natural advantage that Ash release has over fire they are able to withstand multiple B-rank fire techniques only being destroyed by an A-rank fire technique which is blocked. S-rank + Fire techniques burn right through the shield with no problem. Name: Ash Mist Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Mid Description: The clan member releases a large glob of ash from gathering the ash remaining from their Phoenix fire and releasing it towards the opponent this ash spreads throughout the air and the use of wind techniques only further disperses the ash increasing the magnitude of this attack. Once inhaled it is toxic to the opponent and upon dissolving in their body creates a corrosive acid which eats the opponent from inside within 5 posts. Name: Ash Skin Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self Description: The clan member coats their body with a dense layer of ash allowing them to smother fire techniques up to S-rank as well as boost their endurance to A-rank levels. In addition the soot left from the ash of this technique his highly combustible allowing them to rapidly engage their opponent in taijutsu and then withdraw and light them on fire. Name: Ash Dragon Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Long Description: The clan member creates a large snake like dragon out of ash which they are able to ride on as well as use to attack their enemies. This dragon has the ability to smother up to S-rank flames upon contact as well as enter an alternate form when exposed to water which consists of corrosive liquid. In addition when confronted with a wind technique A-rank and below the dragon takes the attack and disperses it as well as separates into a large amount of Ash before rapidly reforming itself. Name: Ash Gigant Sphere Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: S-rank Class: Offensive Range: Long Description: The clan member releases a massive sphere of ash which slowly travels to its target and upon reaching it explodes with a massive blast radius of 50 feet dealing extreme damage to anything caught within the blast radius. In addition this technique can smother out Even Ghost Fire techniques S-rank and below as well as can be combined with a water technique of 1 rank below to deal additional damage as well as melt through SS rank defenses. Name: Black Sun Classification: Kinjutsu/ Combination Art Rank: SS-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self Description: After a Fushichō has successfully taken in the Sacred Ash: Vibhuti, their bodies will stay the same but their eyes will glow a fierce fiery yellow color, which is the only indication that the Black Sun has been activated. In the Black Sun state the Fushichō gains ability to understand all languages of all beings, knowledge of all their previous lives if they happen to have been reincarnated, super strength where their physical power is now at S-rank, knowledge of hidden things making trying to hide from a Fushichō in this state impossible if the concealment technique is S-rank and below, knowledge of the minds making them immune to genjutsu below S-rank, the ability to enter and control others bodies as long as they are at least two rank lower than the user via contact, super hearing ability to hear things up to 50 feet away, ability to fly, mastery over their own senses and perfection of the body meaning that now they can react to all speeds S-rank and lower even if they cannot move that fast. Their Fire and Life Release techniques chakra cost will go down by 1-rank while their Ash Release techniques chakra cost will go down by 2-rank during the duration of this form. This transformation lasts for 10 posts and can only be used safely 1 time per battle, but can be used twice in total. If this is used 2 times then the user dies after the second time wears off, their bodies being unable to be reincarnated into another.

| FamiliarsThe Fushicho have a strong bond with Phoenix's and have retained their relationship with the Phoenix contract for generations. When a Fushicho grows old enough they are bonded with one for a lifelong partnership. Until the Phoenix Contract is completely filled when making a Fushicho please make sure to add your contracted Familiar to the Summoning Contract. The Phoenix Contract is one of the few Mono Elemental Contracts meaning that every Phoenix possesses Fire or one of it's advanced elemental variants (Blaze instead of a Dual, Yugure Flames instead of a Tota). However due to the close relationship with Fushicho Clan all members of the Phoenix Contract possess Ash Materia stored within their body which they can access through stamina prices. Sacred Ash is a special variant which is only formed at the moment of a Phoenix's Death or Rebirth whereas special members (Boss, Elder) possess a secondary storage system comprising solely of Sacred Ash due to having undergone the cycle of rebirth an uncountable number of times in their lifespan. Due to their constant rebirth unlike normal summons after being reborn they have the option of shifting their techniques, replacing the old with new and thus can have quite the diverse technique pool. A Phoenix who harnesses their sacred ash can have a boosted technique pool due to remembering techniques from previous lives, while Sacred Ash forms some of the more esoteric techniques within their Fushicho Clan's arsenal. - The Open Spots are as follows:

All types of Phoenixes are capable of assuming an Elemental Form in which they become comprised of their elemental nature and while in this elemental form they become immune to mental based techniques, sustain double damage from chakra based techniques and sustain physical based techniques like normal due to being semi-present in Limbo. Phoenixes are known for their close ties to the cycle of reincarnation, in fact they are true immortals unable to be permanently killed whether from old age, or through conventional death (murder, disease, starvation etc) while Soul Destroying techniques are the only known way of permanently killing a Phoenix.
