The eastern part of the black dome is rocky and littered with craters and large boulders litter the ground, their is a massive crater the result of a falling meteorite which explains exactly why the ground is so desolate as all the life was brutally snuffed out at once. Still it doesn't prevent creatures from occasionally seeking this place out for food as scattered around near some of the boulders are actually underground cave structures with the entrances being the "boulders" themselves having been hollowed and and used as short tunnels. Surrounded by the most boulders is a massive structure which seemed to be some sort of tower but has long since lost it's brillance due to a lack of maintenance turning it into some ancient ruin.
The western part is an arid desert which is filled with red sand seemed to be stained with blood, it is perhaps the hottest location within the Black Dome and often those who travel to it are either hit with the dehydration or preyed upon by the desert faring creatures that live there. At the center their is an oasis where creatures travel to get their water before going back to wherever they live during all other times and between the oasis and the most western side of the dome their is a massive temple which gives no worship to any deity.
The northern part of the Black Dome is massive, rocky and a huge canyon taking up most of it which has a bridge which starts on both sides in order to connect them together before ascending into the air stretching across the distance the top actually seeming to touch the ceiling. At the bottom of the canyons are two locations the first is the more visible which comprises of a beautiful waterfall surrounded by trees and fauna while the other is partially built into the canyon and entails two caves which lead into a massive underground catacomb system.
This is a rich forest area which sharply contrasts with the plains area of the Land of Madness, at the center it contains a lake with oddly colored silver water while near the bottom is a river which is surrounded by an odd storm which doesn't stretch outward but simply prevents access to the river. Not surprisngly it is filled with the most amount of wildlife all of which are extremely hostile to organic life while being somewhat antagonistic to inorganic life.
