A Frosty Forest

Right then, let's head North. We haven't been there in sometime. Ursa, I want you heading up the middle. A bit too big to really sneak through this forest. Yoshi said with a smile. The large Hindbear gave the equivalent of a shaggy shrug before wandering forward as instructed. Bion, skulk about in the tall grass as we travel. Keep an eye on Ursa as he should draw the attention of anything we come across. I'm going to try...taking to the trees actually. If that doesn't work, I'll go on the other side of Ursa and Creep through the underbrush there. Bion nodded, Aye Cap'n. Before disappearing into the tall grasses a bit to the left of Ursa's path.

The rest of you are free to travel as you please. Ursa will probably draw the most attention and we usually use him as bait before striking from the sides. Good to have ye along. Yoshi would say to each of the Zards that had followed him out of the burrow on their hunt north before scampering over to one of the trees and attempting to jump upon the trunk. His nails would sink in and immediately begin to slide down the tough bark. Frustrated, Yoshi would abandon this task of climbing the trees and relegate himself to the underbrush as he had said.

OphiJ'Tali, together with companions ZwardYaya and ZwardTenor, hurried to catch up with the little group, and thankfully weren't too far behind. They remained back some, not being in the group that would always fall under Yoshi's command, but understanding and clearly giving them leadership over the trio. Understanding J'Tali's speciality, the three of them remained together and finding themselves stalking points, with J'Tali not straying terribly fair from Ursa. All the while her lengthy tail flicked to keep the muscles warm and relaxed for use when she could strike.

Upon travelling through the forest they would come across a curious sight of three Wartboars who were fighting against three Gillkin who seemed to be more worse off as Wartboars are quite dangerous despite being prey animals. Not only did they tower over the Gillskin in size being Medium M sized monsters but they possessed dense hide, powerful muscles and the constitution inherit to the stamp species. Their opponents on the other hand only had iron weapons and rags and chainmail covering their torsos and limbs. It wasn't a close fight and if they decided to wait around they would witness the Gillkin getting slaughtered by that which they tried to make a meal out of. It seemed the forest was a lot more dangerous than it was previously and one would have to either adapt to this new danger or die.

Yoshi saw the scene before Ursa, though he smiled to himself as the large bear paused and waited for direction. He was becoming smarter every day, that one. Yoshi assessed the situation, watching the Gillkin fight for a moment, or at least struggle as he analyzed his choices. First of all, they were Zards just like he was and the more Zards there were in the world, the better off they'd be. Not to mention, if he saved these three, he could convince them to join him as they'd owe him their life. Three Tier IIs were nothing to scoff at and might help him convince the Older Generation that he was worth following as well. Still, three Wartboars were nothing to scoff at either considering they were enough to make even Ursa pause. Making up his mind, he raised his fist from the underbrush, signaling his team to attack. J'tali and her people were free to do as they pleased.

Ursa would charge forward, the forest trembling with his roar. He'd barrel into the side of the first Wartboar, attempting to Chomp down on the creature's neck with his powerful jaws and subdue it. He'd also scratch at the creature's front right leg, near the knee joint to bring the creature down and keep it away from the Gillkin. Distracted now with Ursa to contend with, Yoshi would sneak up from the other side and rush the creature. He would slash at the creature's eye left eye with his Mantis Blade while joining Ursa in biting down on the other side of the creature's neck. If they had it their way, they'd damn near decapitate the thing. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily for Bion, his vantage point from the bushes behind the same Warthog gave him a great view of its dangly bits as it contended with Yoshi and Ursa. Without missing a beat, the Bullywog chucked two Poison Viper Fangs at the creature, one for each testy.

It took CzardHatta and ZwardFae time to catch up, they both lacked the proper tracking skill, just travelling the normal route for the north forest. They all spent the last few days educating each other on the ins and outs of this forest. They both felt the air get still as they seemed to have caught up They could hear Ursa's roar. Normally a thing to fear but knowing who it could be the Zards Prowled and Sneaked and looked over the situation. Kin in trouble. Hatta was glad to see Yoshi on the offensive. It clearly inspired him. He looked over to Fae and then the Canopy above. Fae Began picking up large rocks, knowing the risk in something the size of a bear and put them away.

The Battle started yes but Zards strong together. They both were rather new to the skill but the two climbed up into the brush while they were still unseen. They targeted the Boar most segregated from the others. Divide and conquer some would say. With Back up the Gillkin should help out after all. CzardHatta jumped out of the trees to land on the great beast's back. He would then begin to Nip at both of the eyes of the Boar. Better he slam into a tree then slam into him. CzardHatta would then attempt to hold on for dear life, expecting the worse. Then he heard Fae's beautiful singing, she let out a fierce shrill cry toward the Boar Hatta was now riding. She then let the rage consume her and chucked a rock at the Wartboar's knee, doing her best to contribute. It seems the battle would be a difficult one but Hatta had to remain stalwart. He couldn't panic.

OphiJ'Tali and her little trio were just as ready to go, with a glance between them they didn't need to say. They had their own little tactics, and typically it was 'J'Tali take the lead'. This was no different. With both of the Wartboars being engaged by one of the little groups, that left one more. 'Stronger together' was always how it was, but J'tali also knew how useful it would be to keep the third beast from backing up it's friends. The Ophidian took to her feet from the brush, throwing herself on to the unoccupied boar, sinking her own [Poison Teeth] in against it's neck, whilst her tail wrapped it's throat and tightened to [Choke] it, whilst claws dug in as hard as she could. In all, her goal was not to be dislodged so easily, whilst cutting off it's oxygen and flooding it's blood with toxins from her fangs.

Tenor and Yaya moved either side, their same grip tightening on it's sides, their shorter tails going for it's legs, to prevent as much struggling as they could, claws piercing in as best as they could get them, and both making attempts with their [White Lizardkin Breath] directly on the legs to keep up the harm and give them some serious frost bite hopefully.

Before the Gillkin could be finished off it would seem that a bunch of Zards would come to their rescue, well more like a fellow Gillkin with a Hind Bear, a Bullywug, some evolved Lizardkin and an Ophidian. Either way while they hated Lizardkin they were glad that a fellow Gillkin had sought to save them from being bludgeoned to death by these Wartboar. The male Gillkin was the most injured so the two females would drag him to a nearby tree and rest him against it so that he wasn't in the middle of the battlefield, before they would rush back in to assist their fellow Gillkin even if he was accompanied by those lesser than him. One of the females would toss an Iron Sword at Gwyvyoshi's feet before speaking to attract his attention, "Use the sharp metal!" she said before the other female would hold her back from rushing over to him. "Watch out! It's gonna hit him!"

Meanwhile the first Wartboar would hear the roar of a Hind Bear and would turn in response before getting bitten on the neck causing it to squeal in pain. Before he could deal with the bear he was hurt yet again this time by another Gillkin though this one seemed stronger than the ones the Wartboar had been dealing with earlier. Either way it wasn't like the beast was smart enough to think of tactics and instead it would squeal angrily before pushing off the ground to use Reckless Takedown on BearUrsa's belly. Due to the disparity in strength this would manage to dislodge not only BearUrsa but also Gwyvyoshi though only the former was the target of the attack and it would hurt the Stamp Wartboar in the process but it was the only way it could think of freeing itself. It would squeal in agony once more when it was suddenly struck in it's testicles by Bullybion it would turn around and look for who did it before assuming it was probably Gwyvyoshi and thus would Ram him head-on.

Czardhatta tried his best, and had managed to climb onto the Stamp Wartboar's back alongside his mate though while he had managed to slightly harm it, Zwardfae wasn't able to even bruise it's thick hide with the thrown rock. As the Stamp Wartboar couldn't see what was hurting it so much it had no choice but to use a reckless takedown on itself building up speed by running and then jumping with it's back legs in order to smash it's back into a tree. This would not only deal damage to itself but would likewise cause damage to whomever was still on it's back aka Czardhatta. While he'd be dislodged the tree that Zardfae had climbed wouldn't be felled with such a hit even though it did shake a bit. The poor Stamp Wartboar was injured from it's attack and thanks to Czardhatta's effort's also blind causing it to squeal in frustration being forced to rely on it's sense of smell to try and pick out where they were, but the whole area smelled like Zards so it didn't really help much.

Ophij'tali would manage to not only success at ambushing her target but her bite while not causing the Stamp Wartboar to Hallucinate would inflict some damage and due to her holding on would inflict bleed onto it. Most noteworthy was that she was able to figure out how to use her claws in conjunction with her teeth and tail to use Basic Multi-Wield increasing her ability to attack by many times. It was unfortunate that her followers weren't as capable as her as despite their efforts neither of them were able to even breath the Stamp Wartboar's thick hide to inflict damage. He would reply to their in effectual attacks with a Brutal Takedown aimed at crushing Zwardyaya's back against the ground before it would turn and do the same to Zwardtenor. When they got hit both of them would be knocked to the ground and wouldn't get up again.

Yoshi took a moment to look at the strange weapon thrown to him, it was made of metal rather than bone or chitin like most of the weapons he used and reminded him of the shield Snow had found so many days ago. He shook his head, Useless to me. Keep, help the others and fight with us, or we all die. His words were more of an order than an ask, snarling them and making it very clear that he had no time for cowards. If you fight, I will keep you alive. That is a promise. Hrngh. Yoshi grunted as the Wartboar rammed into his chest. Thankfully the Seven Color Pelt he had been wearing took the brunt of the attack, but still it was enough of a surprise to knock the wind out of the Zard for a moment. With his Mantis Claw in hand, Yoshi would slash at the right eye of the boar while clawing at the left eye with his other hand, attempting to blind the creature but not disengaging with it. After all, it was much harder to ram something that was stuck to you.

Meanwhile, Ursa would grunt in pain from the hit to the belly, but the large bear was far from done. If anything, he was now invigorated, even angrier than before. The bear let loose another fierce Battle Cry, charging the same Wartboar that had just rammed Yoshi. Ursa chomped down on the neck again, attempting to rip more flesh free and put this creature down. A meaty paw would swipe at the same right front leg that he had torn flesh from earlier, attempting to simply take the leg off altogether now that it had been injured.

Meanwhile, Bion, knowing fully well that he was not the heavy hitter that Yoshi and Ursa were in their hunting party, when the boar decided it was Yoshi that had attacked it and once again revealed its tender bits to him. The strange amphibian licked his lips in eager anticipation as he spit two more poison viper fangs at the boar's dangly bits. He waited from his skulked position with joyful anticipation for the creature's cry of anguish. Bion may not be able to hit like a dumptruck, but he did his job well.

CzardHatta rode that boar for all it’s worth as it bit away at it’s eyes. At the least it couldn’t see. That didn’t farewell as the beast tackled a whole tree with his body. The Trio of Hatta, the Tree, and the Boar collided into each other and the pain was felt three ways. The Poor Zard was nearly crushed by the weight, feeling it pin against his fancy new pelt. The beast fell off and the Zard had the wind knocked out of him but he noticed his fancy pelt was in absolute disrepair. He ripped it off of himself and threw the remains at the boars snout before Prowling back into the brush. The boar couldn’t see him, he made sure of that. CzardHatta circled the more then angry boar and would find its goods. He had no idea why furry beast had these dangly bits. But he didn’t seem to care as he nipped at the creatures testes. No blow was low enough honestly. ZwardFae on the other hand relied on her temper and stones in the hopes of at least distracting the beast, tossing down rocks to its face. Fae felt like she wasn’t doing much as could really only do her best. (:’] lord)

It was a crazy melee but it would seem that Yoshi's command had an effect on the two female Gillkin causing them to nod with one of them picking up the weapon she had thrown and running over to help out Czardhatta. They would watch as the Chromatica Lizardkin would sneak away after blinding the Wartboar and then when it turned smelling his destroyed pelt Hatta would bite the Wartboars gonads causing it to squeal in agony before going on it's fore-legs briefly to kick out with both feet impacting CzardHatta in the face. This would be the opening they would seize both of them running forward and thrusting their swords aiming for the same place the Wartboars squealing mouth. This would deal a pretty bad blow to it with the two of them removing their weapons after landing the blow one of them banging on her shield to attract it's attention while the other would run and then jump on top of it using both of her swords to impale it on the back to get a secure hold on it. It would squeal more and originally it had wanted to focus on attacking the Gillkin who was banging on her shield but would end up getting distracted by being impaled and would instead try to dash and buck off the Gillkin by ramming itself into a tree yet again. It would succeed in doing so but unfortunately it would also cause the iron swords to be pushed deeper inside of it's body causing it to shudder in agony as it hurt itself worse than it hurt the female Gillkin who would crawl away while it was still in pain.

The battle between BearUrsa, Gwyvyoshi and Bullybion was at a close as the combined attacks resulted in the Wartboar being brought within an inch of it's life and rather than die from the bleeding it would let out a final squeal and use a Brutal Takedown on BearUrsa before collapsing to the ground after the impact dead due to the recoil from it's final attack. This would leave only one Wartboar which had Ophij'tali on top of it at least until it decided to smash into a tree after kicking it's back legs up so as to squish it's rider. Sure enough the impact would cause Ophij'tali to let go of it with the Stamp Wartboar squealing in victory and dashing away from Ophij'tali only to hear the dying squeal of it's fellow Wartboar. It would look at the situation and would immediately rush forward before aiming a Brutal Takedown at BearUrsa as he still had his jaws clamped around the dead Wartboar's neck.

Ursa would give one final, satisfying crunch with his jaws, making well and sure that this boar was truly dead. Yoshi would smile momentarily, glad the tide of battle was beginning to turn in their favor. His attention would briefly flip to the boar that CzardHatta and company were fighting, happy to see that the other Gillkin had taken his advice and decided to join the melee. However, Ursa would let out a howl of pain, as the third Wartboar barreled into him. Yoshi's eyes went wide, his poor beast wasn't too hurt, but patches of blood were beginning to glisten on his fur. Ursa was too big of a target and Yoshi needed to start doing more to recognize that. With the boar's attention on Ursa and facing away from Yoshi as it had sprinted past, the Gwyv decided to take a page out of his hunting partner's playbook and quickly creep up to the boar, Mantis Blade in hand. Yoshi would slash at the boar's exposed undercarriage while it was focused on Ursa before reaching out with his powerful jaws and chomping down, hoping to induce a steady bleed on the creature just as he had with the first.

Meanwhile, Ursa would be struck in the side, rage fueling the Hindbear. He'd lash out, expecting his sudden burst of rage to fuel his attack power, but finding it did little more than usual unfortunately. Regardless, the hindbear decided to attack the boar in a similar fashion as he had with the one before. After all, there were some clear results with that attack. Rearing his head up, Ursa brought it down on the boar, chomping the neck from above and attempting to sink his teeth in deep to the creature's neck. With his left paw he'd slash at the boar's right front knee, attempting to slow the boar down or at least handicap it just as he had the one before. This bear was rarely in the mood for f***ing around, but even less so now. These walking meat pies were becoming a nuisance.

Bion would continue watching from his place within the brush. Amazingly he hadn't been spotted or at least targeted by the boars yet. Though that probably had something to do with his Skulk and Camouflage skills. He gazed out from the tall grass, attempting to take in the situation around them. One boar was down for good, another was being ganged up on by the Czard from their burrow and two of the new Gillkin. There was a third Gillkin, the male, clearly injured who had been dragged to the base of a tree and mostly out of harm's way for the time being. Skulking through the shrubbery and tall grasses, Bullybion made his way around the perimeter of the fight and towards the weakened man. He stuck his frog-like head out from the grass and whispered to the weakened Gillkin male, Hello brother, you seem injured. Is there anything I can do for you? He asked, while looking the Gillkin over for any interesting equipment or particularly bad wounds.

CzardHatta was pleased, he had felt like he had done some damage! Then he saw the leg lift up, he attempted to brace for it, but alas. Poor Yorick, blah blah blah. CzardHatta took a face full of wartboar leg. He got pushed back but he wasn’t going to just give up. He saw the lady Gillkins stab into the Boar. He was ecstatic. Backup, normally this was the part when something crazy popped up to completely throw him a curve. CzardHatta’s enthusiasm didn’t die out this time! ”Charge!” Confidence was a magical thing.

CzardHatta jumped up and climbed the back of the beast. He held on for the rise of a life time, it was like a drunkard on an iron bull. Hatta made his way to the Beast neck and nipped away at it. He needed to help take this thing down. He needed to prove he could play with the big boys too! CzardHatta after taking his bite would allow himself to take a fall and fell into the brush. He would go back to his hit and run tactics and waited for an opportunity. Fae was honestly pissed and simply continued hailing down stones which even she knew wasn’t much. A distraction could mean much in any battle. She just wished to simply proved herself.

The Gillkin male would initially bare his fangs at the Bullywug who seemed to come up to him to finish him off, at least until Bullybion spoke and mentioned wanting to help him. Such a perplexing action resulted in the Gillkin frowning as he contemplated how to answer as on one hand he wasn't a fellow Gillkin and thus couldn't be trusted but he also saw the battle and how it seemed that this Bullywug was affiliated with the powerful Gillkin with the Hind Bear pet. "I will be fine, I've just molted but I will need sleep and food in order to regain my strength. But if you can bring her to where I am it would be greatly appreciated." He said while pointing at one of the female Gillkin who had been injured enough that she was still crawling on the floor to try to get away from the blind Wartboar.

--------------Yoshi---------------------

While it was dealing with the larger threat it would seem that it's weakness was capitalized on and Gwyvyoshi would mess it up good dealing damage that till then hadn't been matched by any other combatant in the area apart from the Wartboar's themselves. So potent was the injury that it was enough to cause the Wartboar to shift to it's front legs and kick out to try and break the Wyvernspur Gillkin's neck with a high pitched squeal of both agony and rage. The powerful jaws of BearUrsa would promptly cut them off and due to the Wartboar using it's front legs to brace it's body when one of it's legs were slashed it would lose it's balance and end up falling over which against a Hind Bear was normally a death sentence for most creatures, much less against multiple opponents considering the kick was probably not enough to kill Gwyvyoshi outright. As it was it would try to force it's way upward rather than try to attack again as it knew it's power came from movement and being stationary would be it's end.

Hatta's attacks would deal their damage to the Wartboar though his fortitude despite the brutal hit to the face would allow him to add to the damage the Wartboar took and unlike the female Gillkin with the two swords he knew when to call it quits and let go before it impacted the tree. Due to the repeated collisions however the tree that ZwardFae was in would let out a crack before it would topple over which didn't mean anything good for the female lizardkin. It would land near the crawling female Gillkin spooking her something fierce as if it had landed on her it would have surely died, whereas Zwardfae would be pinned underneath one of the branches. This left just the hidden CzardHatta and the female gillkin with the sword and shield who would understand what Hatta was trying to do and thus would be the one to attack first. She would run up and would thrust her sword into the Wartboar's snout causing it to squeal in pain before delivering a hit to her which would knock her flying into the air even though she blocked with her shield.

Yoshi would reflexively brace himself, before his head would rock back as the powerful hind legs of the Boar kicked into his neck. The Zard Mage Cloak provided a welcomed amount of cushion, preventing any real damage to be done, but he'd definitely be sore in the morning. He grunted, taking a step back for a moment to clear his thoughts. Meanwhile, Ursa, his jaws still clamped down on the boar's neck would sense the prey try to push itself up and the big bear would maneuver itself on top of the creature in an attempt to use his larger body to hold the boar down. He'd bite down harder into the Boar's neck, at this point trying to decapitate the squealing beast while also raking his sharp claws across the boar's exposed belly. Ursa wasn't just killing the boar, but asserting his dominance and proving that he was in control here. He was pissed that such a pathetic creature would dare try to challenge him.

Yoshi wouldn't be done either though and he was beginning to grow tired of these oversized meat sacks. Circling around, he would join Ursa in attacking the creature's exposed belly as it lay flailing in the dirt. As Ursa's claw would retract from where it had struck, Yoshi would follow up with a slash from his Mantis Blade. Then, suddenly remembering his new tail barb, would flick his tail forward, driving the barb deep into the wound and hopefully towards its organs. He still wasn't sure how it worked exactly, but just hoped the corrosive toxins that coursed through his body would deliver a lethal payload.

As for Bion, he would look to where the injured Gillkin male had indicated, noticing the female laying in the dirt. She wasn't dead, but she wasn't getting up to fight anytime soon either. Bion swallowed hard, realizing that he'd lose his camoflauge if he left the tall grass and darted out into the open to get the female. Thankfully, a quick inspection told him that one boar was now on the ground and wouldn't be going anywhere, while the other seemed preoccupied with the remaining Gillkin and two of the Zards that had come late to the hunt. He'd have to rely on his speed for this, but without a second thought, Bion darted out from his cover, keeping low to the ground to remain inconspicuous. So long as nothing interrupted him, Bion would reach the downed female and attempt to get a shoulder under her arm. He'd then proceed to attempt to carry/drag her back towards where the male lay and out of harms way as much as possible, given the circumstances.

Fae did freak out as the boar slammed against the tree once again. It began to collapse and Fae swallowed all that fear and decided to go for it. She ran against the branch she was on and as the tree fell, she jumped. Fae landed right into a bush, thankful to the great egg in the sky. She was sore all over from such a rough landing but when the alternative is a whole tree falling on her, she'd take this. She knew the danger in staying still so she sulked around, trying to watch the field while keeping her distance. She needed to get stronger.

CzardHatta saw his companion fly from the tree into the surrounding brush. He was relieved to see she could at the least take care of herself. His eyes locked forward on the boar ahead. This thing couldn't possibly take much more could it? It prowled forward as the Gillkin was able to make a great distraction. Hatta used the opportunity she gave him to bite down on it's giblets again. He was prepared for the worst now as he needed to end this quick if he wanted to prove his worth. The Boar was quite the wall of meat. Hopefully it's taste would prove true. At this point he was starving for both glory and meat.

The Stamp Wartboars were quite beefy however the overwhelming tactics of the Lizardkin seemed to prevail this time around, not only were Ursa and Yoshi able to assert their dominance over the Wartboars but also finish it due to the severe wounds they inflicted upon it. As for Czardhatta he would successfully bite the gonads of the Wartbear and when it squealed in pain the female Gillkin had recovered and had dashed forward to shove her sword straight down it's throat. This would end it's life and also save Czardhatta from getting kicked in the face again seeing as it was gearing up to do just that prior to it's demise. Once both of them had died the Gillkin would all cheer before the male Gillkin would speak up to address Gwyvyoshi. "Honored kin, thank you for saving our lives. But we don't recognize you from our hideout in the river where do you hail from and why do you consort with Lizardkin?" he said sort of confused by Yoshi's companions not in a hostile way but merely in a curious one.

Yoshi breathed heavily as the Wartboar let out a final groan and spasmed, falling still between Ursa's jaws. The bear released the creature, sensing death about it, and began licking the blood from his chops. He looked to Yoshi as the Gwyv approached, patting the large beast on the head, Well done boy, we'll eat well tonight. He looked to see Czardhatta and one of the female Gillkin finish the last boar, happy that they had managed to handle things on their own. They'd need to get moving, lest they attract any predators with the fresh kills. Yoshi dragged the first Wartboar over near the second, before Ursa dropped to his stomach so Yoshi could drape the second kill over the bear's back. Wait here while I check on the others, we'll leave shortly. He told the bear, who nodded knowingly, still picking bone and muscle sinew out of his teeth with a flicking tongue.

Yoshi made his way over to Czardhatta and the still standing Gillkin, Well done, both of you. A fine kill and you'll hopefully be able to salvage some useful materials from this beast's tough hide. Over to his side, the injured male called to him and Yoshi saw Bion had managed to move the injured female over towards him, standing guard over the two. I am Gwyvyoshi and I call the Lizardfolk Burrow home, and you are? I hunt with any who swear loyalty and courage to our pursuits, regardless of their type. He turned to look back at Czardhatta and Zwardfae, Something those two proved beyond a doubt, I would say. They certainly saved your life this day. We are heading back home now, the day escapes us and I don't wish to stay in one place with these bloodied corpses for any longer than necessary. We will take you all back to the burrow, you will be fed and free to rest. Then we can discuss this river hideout. There was no threat in Yoshi's voice, but it was also clear he wasn't leaving room for argument either.

Yoshi turned to Bion, Well done getting her to safety, the more Zards in this world, the better. I'll need you to help our friend here back to the burrow while I have my hands full with one of the kills. Hopefully one of the other three, He said, nodding his head towards the remaining Gillkin, Hatta and Fae, can help this one here make her way back.

The battle soon ended with the Zards as the victors! It was an intoxicating victory, a truly successful hunt. And now new allies. New. Alluring allies. CzardHatta brushed himself off and picked up the remains of his first shield. He dropped it as it snapped in half, no point in crying over spilled milk. Walking over to the boar he let out a grunt as he tried to show off to this new female that had shown up. He was a strong Zard despite his smaller size. He dragged the Boar effortlessly and began to speak. "I am named CzardHatta!" He had a really gruff accent when it came to talking to more refined speakers. He was just proud to be able to talk to others. "Over there! ZwardFae! Careful Fae bites!" His tone was playful, yet Yoshi was right. These kills were to valuable to leave exposed out here for to long. These beasts were massive and he was looking at their bone and hide. They'd definitely make some good weapons and armor. CzardHatta felt confident once again. He hadn't been on a real hunt in awhile and it felt good to be so effective with a team. He needed to expand his group of hunters. Fae lurked out of the brush and began to aid her companion with the beast that ticked her off. Once again she was being left behind in the face of her generation.

"Gillkin do you have Gillnames? Burrow is not dreadfully far. CzardHatta is rather curious if you are the same as the older Zardkin, just late coming back home? You say river hideout but that's so far! I've only ever seen Zards born in the Burrow." His broken higher speech was slowly getting better. He was doing his best to practice with it but that didn't stop the fact that he wasn't particularly bright to piece together that Zards could be born elsewhere. Then he turned his head to Fae and his fluid tongue came back. "You okay after that fall Fae?" She let out a grunt and continued dragging the pig in silence. She wasn't pleased with the hunt today, but she was glad to still be able to stand. Being able to withstand the body blows of that beast, truly led to respect for another. Fae had much to think on.

The haul back would be filled with curiosity to say the least. Whether the Gillkin answered or not would be up to them but CzardHatta had his eye out for the swordsman that had helped him take down the boar. Call it an odd sense of magnetism. Anywho he was proud of his performance on the hunt.

The three Gillkin would look at him confused before shaking their heads as they had no idea that there was a Lizardfolk Burrow, they had heard about Lizardkin but that they were vile and traitorous and not worth a Gillkin's time. "Ah...Honored kin we do not hail from this Lizardfolk burrow that you speak of, instead our home is the Gillkin hideout, which is partially underwater within the river. We were born there as were our parents and we were told that our enemies were the Lizardkin, but if you say it is safe where you are going we will follow you." he said speaking for the other two who would nod in agreement. One of the females would look at Czardhatta with a mixture of amusement and disgust as while she was interested in what he could do having shown he was a formidable warrior she was warring against her prejudice against Lizardkin. The other one would look at Zwardfae with disapproval as if the Lizardkin tried to bite one of them she would bite her back, that was for sure even if she couldn't really move that good after being hit. "We go by Gillbirdo, Gillette, and Gillshine." Gillbirdo said pointing to himself then the females one after another after he said their names. Gillette would help Gillshine up off the ground and they would follow after Gwyvyoshi and the rest of them.
