| Starting Race Stats and Bars- Stats & Roaming Locations (For Enemy & NPC Encounters):
Name - Str - End - Res - Dex - Mag - Int - Lck Goblin (All) - (F) - (F) - (F) - (F) - (F) - (F) - (F+) Kobold (East) - (F) - (F) - (F-) - (F+) - (F) - (F+) - (F) Orc (North) - (F+) - (F+) - (F) - (F) - (F) - (F-) - (F) - (F) Lizardfolk (West) - (F) - (F+) - (F+) - (F-) - (F) - (F) - (F) Myconid (South) - (F) - (F) - (F+) - (F) - (F+) - (F) - (F-)
Race - Hunger Bar - Thirst Bar - Health Points - Mana Points Goblin - 20 - 20 - 10 - 10 Kobold - 20 - 20 - 10 - 15 Orc - 20 - 20 - 20 - 5 Lizardfolk - 20 - 20 - 20 - 10 Myconid - 30 - 15 - 10 - 10
Hunger & Thirst Bars affects ones Hunger & Thirst respectively, each point represents each post, thus if food is not obtained before it is fully depleted then creatures will begin to starve which deducts 1 Point from their HP each post they make after their Hunger or Thirst Limit is depleted which is unable to be healed from (-2 when both are empty) and eventually leading to death by starvation. Lower Tier Monsters must eat more frequently than Higher Tier creatures to avoid starving, this is become higher Tier Monsters have larger Hunger & Thirst Bars which depletion results in certain thresholds being reached causing the Monster to suffer penalties to their Stats until they eat. However by that same token size does play a part, as smaller creatures do not need to eat as much as larger creatures in order to completely fill their Hunger Bar. Tier 0 = 1 Threshold for Hunger & Thirst (If depleted they sustain constant health depletion unable to be healed until eventual death) Tier I = 2 Thresholds (Half Depleted results in -'s to every stat) Tier II = 3 Thresholds for each. Tier III = 4 Thresholds (3/4th Depleted results in 2 -'s to every stat) Tier IV = 5 Thresholds for each. Tier V = 6 Thresholds (5/6th Depleted results in 3 -'s to every stat) *Note: Thresholds mean multiplier for instance a Hobgoblin's Hunger Bar has 2 Thresholds which means has a 2x multiplier, resulting in it having a 40. However since it's a Humanoid sized creature this also means it suffers from a -5 thus it's Hunger bar is actually 35.
Size - Hunger Bar - Thirst Bar Small - Normal - Normal Humanoid - (-5) - Normal Medium S - (-5) - (-5) Medium M - (-10) - (-5) Medium L - (-10) - (-10) Medium XL - (-15) - (-15) Large S - (-20) - (-15) Large M - (-20) - (-20)
Infection refers to corruption due to Undead, meaning after completely depleted upon the death of the victim they are changed into Undead. Everyone starts with 10 IP, with every + in endurance increasing this by 10.
Poison refers to the duration of poisons effect, meaning what is subtracted from the original duration in order for victims to suffer from being poisoned for less time. (F = -2 P.T, A = 10 P.T. -'s reduce one less P.T than standard, while +'s reduce one more P.T than standard however only for poisons which don't deal damage.)
- NPC Monsters:
As you go through the world of Monsters other monsters will end up joining you whether as faithful companions, mates or minions. Regardless of the case until your NPC's are Tier I you have no say on how they grow and after they become Tier I you can inquire as to how they spread their stats and suggest things though the lower the Tier of your NPC the more likely they are to listen to your suggestions. However those monsters with the skill Command can override the normal stat allocation of their NPC's with what they want, which is why it is one of the more coveted skills. - Companions:
Companions assist you in battle and in combat you can control them directly, likewise they are who join you in most adventures and are the only ones able to enter dungeons with your main character. Due to you being able to control them directly you can influence what skills they gain more effectively than any other type of NPC. One can have a limited amount of companions which is dependent on their Tier as well as if they possess the Command Skill or not. Tier of Companion - Stat Suggestion Success (Command Override) - Tier of PC (Max No. of Companions) 0 - N/A - 2 (Lesser Command = 1.25x) I - 9/10 (Lesser Command) - 3 (Command = 1.5x) II - 8/10 (Command) - 4 (Greater Command = 1.75x) III - 7/10 (Greater Command) - 5 (Ruler Command = 2x) IV - 6/10 (Ruler Command) - 6 V - 5/10 (N/A) - 7
- Mates:
Mates give you children and increase the population of your species When mating with others the offspring has a chance of being born as the same species as the stronger parent as long as they are above Tier 0. Monster's who mate with one of the Civilized races will typically have monster children however their is a chance that the child is born as a mix-blood which is a cross of the two species. Mates can either be Minions or Companions, however as a result depending on what they are determines whether you can control them in battle directly (Companions) or indirectly (Minions). The various starter races have differing pregnancy times when either pregnant or impregnating their mates, however it is common knowledge among monsters that when impregnating the civilized races it speeds up the pregnancy time. Race - Pregnancy (Tier Modifier) Goblin - 3 Days (I = +1 Days) Kobold - 12 Days (II = +2 Days) Orc - 15 Days (III = +3 Days) Lizardfolk - 9 Days (IV = +4 Days) Myconid - 6 Days (V = +5 Days)
Impregnation Success Chance - Libido Modifier Tier 0 (1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 or 10) - Libido (+1) Tier I (1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 10) - High Libido (+2) Tier II (1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 10) - Intense Libido (+3) Tier III (1, 3, 5, 7 or 10) Tier IV (1, 3, 5 or 10) Tier V (1, 5, or 10)
Tier(Father) - Tier(Mother) - Offspring Tier (Monsters Roll for Offspring Tier) 0 - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0 (N/A But can be born with 1 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills) I - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0 or I (I = 1) II - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0, I or II (I = 1, II = 15) III - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0, I, II or III (I = 1, II = 15, III = 25) IV - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0 (I = 1, II = 15, III = 25, IV = 35) V - 0/I/II/III/IV/V - 0 (I = 1, II = 15, III = 25, IV = 35 & V = 50) If both Parents share the same Tier then the chance that their child is born not at Tier 0 is increased: Tier - Offspring Tier (Monsters Roll Modifier) I - I (1-2) II - I (1-3), II (15-16) III - (1-4), II (15-17), III (25-26) IV - (1-5), II (15-18), III (25-27), IV (35) V - (1-6), II (15-19), III (25-28), IV (35-36), V (50) If Both Parents are Tier above Tier 0 & the offspring is Tier 0 then their offspring will start with: Tier I = 1 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills (Monsters Roll 2-14) Tier II = 2 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills (Monsters Roll 16-24) Tier III = 3 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills (Monsters Roll 26-34) Tier IV = 4 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills (Monsters Roll 36-44) Tier V = 5 of Higher Tier Parent's Skills (Monsters Roll 45-49) *Mixblood are unique in that they inherit the capability of learning a Job from their Civilized Race parent which depending on the Tier of the Jobs their Civilized Race parents have the number of jobs available to the child varies. It is for this reason that powerful adventurers are wary of monsters as many have been defeated and rather than being killed were used as breeding stock for the next generation, women in particular. Job Tier - No. of Jobs - Race (Pregnancy Time) - Mix-Blood Success Chance (Monster Parent Tier) I - 1 - Human (-25 Days) - Encounter Roll of 100 (I = +1 to Roll) II - 1 - Dwarf (-20 Days) - Encounter Roll of 99-100 (II = +2 to Roll) III - 2 - Elf (-15 Days) - Encounter Roll of 98-100 (III = +3 to Roll) IV- 2 - Beastman (-10 Days) - Encounter Roll of 97-100 (IV = +4 to Roll) V - 3 - Oni (-5 Days) - Encounter Roll of 96-100 (V = +5 to Roll) Any Job is Hero - 3 - Half-Race (Defaults to lower time reduced) - Encounter Roll of 95-100 *Note: Half-Race refers to any mix of Civilized Races, if mixed with human they are known as Half whatever non-human race the other parent is, while if they are a mix of other races they have specific names which are as follows: Dwarf+Elf = Dwelf (+ to Luck) Dwarf+Beastman = Beawarf (+ to Luck) Dwarf+Oni =Dwoni (+ to Luck) Elf+Beastman = Elstman (+ to Dex) Elf+Oni =Elfni (+ to Dex) Beastman+Oni = Onist (+ to End) *Note: Stats mimic the Stronger Parent's unless one is Human in which case it mimics the non-Human parent with a single + to a random stat.
Starter Races can also be Half Race with offspring arising from said union being Uncommon Species, however this is rare using the same chart as above to determine whether the pregnancy will carry to term or be a miscarriage: Goblin+Orc = Goborc (+ to Luck) Goblin+Kobold = Koblin (+ to Luck) Goblin+Myconid = Mycolin (+ to Luck) Goblin+Lizardfolk = Zarblin (+ to Luck) Orc+Kobold = Orbold (+ to Endurance) Orc+Myconid = Mycorc (+ to Endurance) Orc+Lizardfolk = Zorc (+ to Endurance) Kobold+Myconid = Kobonid (+ to Intelligence) Kobold+Lizardfolk = Lizko (+ to Intelligence) Myconid+Lizardfolk = Mycard (+ to Magic) *Note: Other Stats Mimic the Stronger Parent's Tier 0 Race, Starter Race Half Races are unable to be born at higher Tiers than Tier 0.
- Minions:
Minions are able to hunt for food, complete basic tasks and things like that allowing your main character to focus on other tasks. By ordering them to do things it allows a constant influx of resources and they are able to become more specialized at doing such. Likewise they can also serve as additional combatants in war times, however you can not directly control them in battle only give them instructions and hope they are successful in doing such. Encounter (No. of Minions Req. to be Successful) 1 Tier Lower (5 if Same Species as Boss, 3 if Predator/Variant, 2 if Not Predator) Same Tier (7 if Same Species as Boss, 5 if Predator/Variant, 3 if Not Predator) 1 Tier Above (9 if Same Species as Boss, 7 if Predator/Variant, 5 if Not Predator) *Note: When encountering multiple creatures, the amount needed should be increased accordingly otherwise if they do meet the quota for one monster then for each additional monster encountered 1 of the minions will die albeit being successful at bringing the additional monster(s) down. But if the amount of minions that die is equal to the total amount of minions sent out then all of them die with them only injuring the monsters that they fought. *If they encounter a Boss, all of the minions will die while the Boss will be uninjured from such an encounter, however if they encounter a Boss with a PC and said PC flees then they will also die but they will injure the Boss. *When injuring other Monsters or Bosses it is treated as if they dealt damage that was blocked or dodged, with each of the minions landing one hit. As a result the use of minions can be used to weaken particularly strong monsters encountered in the Forest.

| - Rank-Up System:
An individual's strength is measured by levels, with the max being 100. The growth Monsters can attain through leveling is much lower than that of the other intelligent races through their Jobs System. However, when Monsters reach level 100 they can "Rank Up" to a higher species, giving them an incredible boost in stats. Furthermore, specialties that the individual Monsters demonstrated prior to Rank Up, or conditions they might have cleared, may influence what type of monster they evolve into. It is even possible for a Monster to reach level 100 and be incapable of leveling up since it has not fulfilled all the conditions. Rank-Ups follow this simple system, in addition to the gains one gets from Leveling up to 100, upon ranking up one gains +'s to their stats depending on the Tier of the Rank up. For instance Tier I Rank-Ups give one +, whereas Tier II give two +'s, Tier III give three +'s and so on. This means Rank-ups work in tandem with the natural leveling process of a Monster, thus while the base species sets the baseline for the stat growth of a particular Monster, Superior Species will stronger in the long run while Inferior species will be weaker in the long run. Variants by definition are more powerful than their base species, however this affects the Rank-Up process as they get more Rank-Up diversity due to their blessings and/or resistances than a normal Base Monster. Rank-Ups are also defined by two things: Species - Species are the types of Monsters in the Mini-RP. Sometimes certain monsters gain additional benefits, that separates them from the rest of their species, which are generally beneficial. *Base-Species = Normal versions of the Species (Get 1 + per 25 Levels) *Sub-Species = Grant features which is dependent on unlocked abilities (Get 1 + per 25 Lvl's) *New-Species = Often the result of a contrary blessing, mating with a Non-Civilized Monster or an unusual stat combination with a high luck stat (Get 1 + & 1 - per 25 Levels) *Inferior-Species = Bad Luck Stat + Status ailments can result in becoming an Inferior Species during a rank up. (Get 2 - Per 25 Levels) *Superior-Species = Achieving a Feat such as the slaying of a Boss. (Get 2 +'s per 25 Levels) Variant - A Variant can be considered a mutation of the normal Monsters, and unlike species all types of variants are considered to be more powerful than the base standard of a Species. *Uncommon = Blessings &/or Sub-Species can result in becoming an Uncommon Variant particularly if one is of the Superior Species, Half Race Monsters are born as this type. (Have 1 higher stat than non-variant) *Rare = Achieving a major Feat such as the slaying of a Boss with a Blessing single-handedly, with the majority of a contribution from yourself if others aided in it's defeat or if you are the only survivor out of your allies which aided you. (Have 1 higher stat than non-variant & 1 Resistance) *Extinct = Same as above, while having a high luck stat and already having been a Rare Variant at least once in your Rank-Ups. (Have 1 higher stats than non-variant & 2 Resistances). Combination - Rarely a Variant can likewise be of a specific Species usually by those who manage to not only complete the requirements for becoming a variant but likewise that of becoming a species and most importantly achieving a special requirement such as slaying a Boss. They are typically a mixed bag, but can be more powerful than even Variants with the right combinations. New Sub-Species: Gain 1+ per 25 Levels up to Lvl 50, then gain 1- per 25 Levels till Rank-Up New Inferior Species: Gain 1- Per 25 Levels up to Lvl 75, then gain 1+ Per 25 Levels till rank up New Superior Species: Gain 2+ Per 25 Levels up to Lvl 75, then gain 1- Per 25 Levels till rank up Inferior Sub-Species: Gain 1+ per 25 Levels up to Lvl 75, then 2- Per 25 Levels till Rank-Up Superior Sub-Species: Gain 2+ Per 25 Levels up to Lvl 50, then 1- Per 25 Levels till Rank-Up Uncommon Sub-Species: Have 1 Higher Stats than usual & Follows Sub-Species stat allocation for level-up. Uncommon New Species: Have 1 Higher Stats than usual & Follow New Species stat allocation for level-up Uncommon Superior Species: Have 1 Higher Stats than usual & Follows Superior Species stat allocation for level-up Rare Sub-Species: Have 1 Higher Stat than usual, 1 Resistance & Follows Sub-Species stat allocation for level-up. Rare New Species: Have 1 Higher Stat than usual, 1 Resistance, 1 Tolerance & Follows New Species stat allocation for level-up. Rare Superior Species: Have 1 Higher Stat than usual, 1 Resistance, 1 Tolerance & Follows Superior Species stat allocation for level-up. Extinct Sub-Species: Have 1 Higher Stat than usual, 2 Resistances, 1 Tolerance & Follows Sub-Species stat allocation for level-up. Extinct Superior Species: Have 1 Higher Stat than usual, 2 Resistances, 2 Tolerances & Follows Superior-Species stat allocation for level-up. Unique Species: Unique species are a special combination exclusive to PC, Companions & Mates which require 3 Special Requirements to be fulfilled without them being used to bypass a Rank-Up requirement. (Have 2 Higher Stats than usual, 2 Resistances, 3 Tolerance & Follows New-Species stat allocation for level-up.) Apex Species: Apex species are a powerful combination exclusive to PC & Mates which require 4 Special Requirement and none of them can be used to bypass a Rank-Up requirement. (Have 2 Higher Stats than usual, 1 Immunity, 2 Resistances & Follow Sub-Species stat allocation for level-up.) Living-God Species: Living-God species are the ultimate combination and are exclusive to PC Characters who manage to fulfill it's strict 7 Special Requirements as none of them can be used to bypass a Rank-Up requirement. (Have 2 Higher Stats than usual, 1 Immunity, 2 Resistance, 3 Tolerances & Follows Superior-Species stat allocation for level-up.) Special Requirement ListSurvive Two/Kill an Apex Predator, Survive Mana Eruption, Kill/??? a Hero, Merge More than 2 Maxed Skills at Once/Max Double the Req. Skills Prior to Rank-Up, ???, ???, ???. ???. ???. ???. - Tier I:
Is the next level up from Tier 0 which is the non Rank-up state of any Monster not sired by higher Tier monsters. As a result it is the first opportunity that most Monsters have to grasp real strength and while for most they do not have much diversity in regards to what they can become others do and thus the choices that one makes prior to becoming this Tier do matter. Detailed below are the Tier I Rank-Up Options for each of the starting races. - Goblin:

- Tier II:
Is the next level up from Tier I and can be considered the most common rank for monster's considered to be dangerous as majority of monsters will eventually reach it. Like Tier I this serves as a gauge to seperate those who are considered above average from those monsters who are destined to be fodder, the choices in this tier serve to determine the path that a monster will take more so than the first two Tiers before it. This is because there are quite a number of choices available to the monster without counting those which were already available due to the previous tier. Detailed below are the Tier II Rank-Up Options for each of the starting races. - Goblin:

| Subject: Re: Re: Monster (Starter Race, Rank-Ups & Divinity) 9th May 2020, 12:05 pm | |
| Deities, Blessings & their Divine ProtectionIn the world of Monsters, several Gods and Demigods exist. These gods are worshiped by many races and have been known to give {Blessings} and {Divine Protection} to special individuals, which gives them certain degrees of resistance, as well as the ability to obtain skills related to the God. These gods hold power over many aspects in the world, which include the various elements. However, while civilized races are relatively familiar with the pantheon of gods, few monster races know of their existence. Each starting race's Elder, for example, is aware of the deities aligned with that race, but usually not any others. Individuals can learn about formerly unknown deities in several different ways including: being taught by someone who has knowledge of said deity, becoming marked by a deity, or using observe on a creature who has been given a blessing/divine protection of a deity. There are three known ranks: Demigod, God and Great God. Since a God is higher than a Demigod, the blessings and the modifications granted by a God will be stronger than the equivalent type of blessing from a Demigod. This goes for Great Gods as well, as the blessings offered by them are the most powerful in the world. Blessings go by this rating: *Tolerance = Halves Damage Inflicted regarding the Tolerance after factoring in End, Res or Int Modifiers. (Lowest Dmg is 1) *Resistance = Quarters Damage Inflicted regarding the Resistance after factoring in End, Res or Int Modifiers. (Lowest Dmg is 1) *Immunity = Nullifies Damage Inflicted regarding the Immunity after factoring in End, Res or Int Modifiers. (Lowest Dmg is 0) - Blessings & Divine Protection:
Receiving a Blessing or Divine Protection from a Deity is obtained via several ways, and ultimately the former is easier to obtain than the latter. In either case however it only becomes apparent upon ranking up where there is a system (Encounter Roll) designed to determine what one gets.
Divinity Roll (Deity Category) - Requirements (Dice Roll Modifier) 1-20 (Demi-Gods of Primary) - Maxed Skill (+1 per Maxed Skill, +2 per Merged Non-Max Skill, +3 per Merged Max Skill) 21-40 (Demi-Gods of Superior Primary) - Fulfilled Rank-Up Req. (+2 per obtainable Rank-Ups) 41-60 (Demi-Gods of Dual) - Hero Kill (+3/+4 Per Hero Kill/Capture, +6/+8 ???) 61-80 (Gods of Perfect Primary) - Apex Predator Kill (+5 Per Apex Predator Kill, +10 if Killed Solo) 81-90 (Gods of Perfect Dual) - ??? (+10 Per ???, +15 if ???) 91-99 (Gods of Tri & Complex) - ??? (+15 Per ???, +20 if ???) 100 - (Great Gods & Goddesses) - ??? (+25) *Surviving Mana Eruption has a special condition as it bypasses the need to Roll to instead grant the survivor the blessing of the deity aligned to the Spirit Stone that was consumed. *This Chart is for Blessings, Divine Protection requires one to have already possessed a Blessing after which they must possess either 1 (Demi-God), 2 (God) or 3 (Great God) Special Requirements in order to upgrade their Blessing to a Divine Protection.
Those with Blessings get 1 Elemental Skill (or Magic) at Lvl 50 Those with Divine Protection get 2 Elemental Skill (or Magic) at Lvl 50 & 75 Respectively. Those with the Divine Protection (Great God) get 3 Elemental Skills (or Magic) at Lvl 25, Lvl 50 & Lvl 75 Respectively.
- Demigods:
These Gods govern the Primary Elements and their Superior Variants in addition to those which are combinations of the Primary Elements (Dual Elements). Demigods grant Blessings which confer either 2 Tolerances or 1 Resistance, whereas their Divine Protection confers either 1 Immunity & 1 Resistance or 1 Immunity & 2 Tolerances. In either case a Blessing will allow those blessed to gain skills related to the Demigod, whereas Divine Protection confers the ability to utilize Magic related to the Demigod.
- Gods:
These Gods govern the Perfected variants of both Primary and Dual Elements, furthermore they likewise govern Tri Elements & the majority of Complex Elements. Gods grant Blessings which confer either 3 Tolerances, 2 Resistances or 1 Immunity, whereas their Divine Protection confers either 1 Immunity & 2 Resistances or 1 Immunity & 3 Tolerances. In either case a Blessing will allow those blessed to gain skills related to the God, whereas Divine Protection confers the ability to utilize Magic related to the God.
- Great Gods:
There are only 5 Great Gods, each represented by two specific Elements and each Great God has a unique role they provide to the world.
