| Monster Settlements As the various monster races of the forest have aged and matured, each has learned how to construct useful tools, buildings and upgrades for the locations they call home. This topic will be used to track the various upgrades that members of the races spend their time constructing, thus transforming their hovels to homes. Upon completing the construction of projects, please reply to this topic using the template below. This post will then be updated by a mod as soon as possible to reflect the changes and current upgrades within each settlement. - Code:

[b]Race:[/b] [b]Upgrade Constructed:[/b] [b]Link:[/b] Goblin Cave - Center - Description:
In a cluster of small hills at the heart of the forest lies an unremarkable cave. Upon entering this earthen gash on the hillside, one will find a sprawling network of short tunnels that open into various natural chambers. A web of shadows and stone is what welcomes each Goblin as they open their eyes for the first time and take their first steps into this cruel world.

Lizardfolk Burrow - Northeast - Description:
Within the harsh wastelands of the northeast forest, one can find a single massive tree lying amongst the death and decay. Even the tree itself, its leaves long withered seems to exist in a state of undeath, unwilling to completely succumb to time. Fingers of mud and dirt have begun to consume the base of the trunk, opening up earthen rooms for use by its residents beneath the fallen tree. It is here that the Lizardfolk have made their home and take shelter from the harsh realities of the world.

Orc Mine - Northwest - Description:
A mine long abandoned and forgotten by the civilized races of the world, it once produced precious metals but now only manufactures the screams of victims. Carved by both hand and time itself, the Orcs have managed to set up a prosperous base for themselves. The mine stretches deep into the side of the mountain, with many tunnels continuing so long that not even its current residents have bothered to fully explore them. They snake through the earth, following the natural path of ore veins long since mined and allowing for a safe respite for any Orc in need.

Kobold Den - Southeast - Description:
A simple mound of dirt is all that can be seen from the world above when nearing the Kobold Den. A representation of the Kobold’s initial unassuming appearance but hidden danger, the den stretches into the earth, spreading like any other cave system. This den in particular, unlike other settlements, was created completely from a blank canvas and under the guiding hands of generations of Kobold. A bloodied history perhaps, but a successful one nevertheless.

A solitary patch of lush vegetation and beauty in the heart of the swamplands, the Myconid Patch is sometimes spoken of as a hidden oasis within the forest. Completely unexpected and out of place, its beauty slowly leaks from its borders and into the swamps around it. The Myconids’ natural touch and heavy magical influence have allowed this safe haven to exist for numerous generations, completely untouched by the cruelty of creation that lurks outside its earthen walls.
