Collecting Currency (Mission Thread)

Wanari rolled around on his little sleeping bag on the floor before jumping up into a sitting position. He yawned and stretched out his arms before looking around. The room he was in was a dark one and there wasn't much in it. Only his sleeping bag, a backpack, a katana, and a trunk full of some of his possessions. It had been a month since he left home and for the most part he had only really been training. He was starting to run out of money and needed to get a job or something today. The boy crawled out of his position and onto his feet before getting ready for the day. He put on some black shorts and a black tank top before putting his hair up in a messy bun with a hair tie that was around his wrist. He then grabbed his katana and left the dark room.

After leaving the room, the boy turned to the left and climbed a small set of stairs before reaching a hatch on the ceiling. He opened and climbed out before closing it behind him. He was now in the storage area of a friend's restaurant, but quickly left the room and exited the building. This was the only place he had to stay and there were only two guidelines he had to follow. Don't let anyone see you enter, and don't let anyone see you leave. Because of this rule, he usually had to leave early in the morning and return late at night. It wasn't that big of a deal though because he woke up early anyways because he liked to train for as long as he could during the day.

The boy started walking along the dirt path throughout the village. No one else seemed to be up, that's how early it was. He really didn't have any money, so it looked like he wasn't going to eat breakfast today. He was used to it though, maybe he would get dinner fter he was paid. He decided on just going straight for his destination. He finally arrived at a small one story building and entered with a smile. This was his first time at the mission request office. It was a place where civillians and businesses asked for jobs to be taken care of by mercenaries and missing-nin. He looked in awe at the few people who were also up that early, they looked so cool with their weapons! Wanari walked in slowly and watched as a man in a black suit put a sheet of paper on the wall. Wanari smiled, figuring that was where some of the jobs that were requested were at. He grabbed the mission that the suited man put up and read over the description. Apparently he was going to destroy some building, fun.

It didn't take too long for Wanari to reach the lot that was recently purchased by some businessman. He couldn't understand why anyone would want the place though, it was a mess. Just a normal, broken down home. Whatever. His job was just to destroy it. So that's what he did. He took out his katana and began cutting walls and slamming in to atuff. It was a very old building so it came down very easily, he had to watch out for falling debris though. He kind of mafde it like a game. Destroy something and then dodge its "counter attack". No one liked D-rank missions, but Wanari knew you had to start somewhere. It was just the beginning, he knew soon enough he would be at the top of the game. He needed a bit more training though before he could handle anything else.

Wanari was back at it again for another consecutive day of work. He figured that he had been training a lot and that it was the perfect time to stack up on some precious Xel. The day before he had deconstructed a building for some business man or something like that. Today he had no clue what he was doing. What really encouraged him to do another job was the fact of how much money he had got for the last one. He did not know D-rank missions paid out 500 Xel. So he was back at it again for another day. The boy wondered what jobs were requested for the day. The bonus of getting up early and finding a job was that he would end up finding a job by someone who posted the job early, meaning he would end up helping someone who really wanted help.

The long haired boy stood in front of the small building before him with a smile on his face. Despite being a kind of crappy building, he thought it was cool for what it represented. It was the place all missing-nin and mercenaries went to get most of their missions when starting off, it was their livelihood. It was also cool to see all the bad ass shinobi's with weapons walking around. Hopefully he would be able to make a friend in this place one day. After taking a few seconds to admire the place's "beauty", he walked in dressed in all black with his katana on his back.

He walked straight over to the mission request board, now that he knew where it was from yesterday, and began scanning over some of the missions with his red eyes. All of them were a bunch of odd jobs, but he found one that was the same as the one he did the day before, but the building he had to destroy was in a different lot. The kid shrugged his shoulders and grabbed the mission off of the wall, claiming it. He already had experience doing a job like this and he didn't feel like doing anyone else's chores, so he felt like this was the best route to go. He also had a little bit of fun the last time he did it, so it wouldn't be too bad.

After a little bit of a walk through the village, Wanari found the lot he was supposed to destroy and couldn't help but look at the building standing there sadly. He didn't know why this guy kept buying these horrible looking lots, but he did know why he was being sent to destroy the crappy buildings. It was just a horrible sight, no one wanted to look at it. He took a deep breath before walking towards the building, ready to get to work. He began smashing walls, and cutting down beams, and before he knew it the lot was full of scrap. It looked like his job was done. He then headed off towards the mission request office to collect his reward.
