Reuniting with the Jiko

Tumu was standing at the gates of the compound, just waiting paitiently with his back propped up against the wall, one hand in holding his belt while the other held a book opened in his palm. He was even reading it, more like he was writing, or thinking? Words were appearing on the page like magic, written in a language or code, something completely unrecognisable, not even letters? Maybe drawings? His focus was soft, not really looking at anything in particular, perhaps not even seeing at all. Honestly, it was boring, having to wait for Ka to arrive. Tumu had already checked out the place, completely unseen of course, and explored the surrounding area, surprised with how different everything looked, and the vulnerabilities.

Once he'd finally finished doing whatever the hell he was doing, the book would slam shut on its own before disappearing into a puff of pure black smoke. His eyesight seemed to switch back on as he scanned around for Ka. "I don't have all day." He would say towards no one in particular, using his back to press off the wall. Tumu was still dressed in his outlandish, almost pirate-like style.

Ka was busy coming up with all the financial paperwork he needed to have completed in order to continue making repairs to the Jiko compound, there was still lots to do before he attempted to relocate his clan to Kaosgakure. So it was somewhat understandable that meeting with Tumu had fled his mind at the moment, however that didn't mean Tumu would be left unattended as Jessica was just exiting the compound for some reason. That is when she noticed Ka's friend at the gate, hollering for him to come out. "Hello Lord Tumu, are you looking for Master Ka?" She would say before motioning for him to follow her into the main house of the compound, guess she would have to do her thing later.

Well i suppose now he must become accustomed to 'Lord Tumu'. Just what has happened to this place in his absence, it was as if all of Pandora has flip around from undead, disgusting, murderous psychopaths and made the transition to strange, clown-like children. All fun loving moments and politics. With Carmen still no where to be seen throughout all of this. Tumu would nod in response, before following the girl through the compound, looking around once again as he did to, pretending as if it were the first time he'd seen it all. To be honest, it was quite impressive, to see how much life was breathed into these broken walls, all with hardly any of the Jiko members to aid him. Gotta hand it to the kid, he was dedicated at least. "So, girl, how is young Master Ka these days?" He almost seemed sarcastic as he spoke Ka's title, but not enough to really take away from the question itself.

"He hates being called Master" Jessica would say as she started to lead Tumu through the compound, there was still some construction going on, but it was turning out to be rather nice. "Ka has been good however, keeping busy with the rebuilding of the compound, our daughter Corrina, and the upcoming wedding between Lady Mikura and himself. Though I am concerned he is working himself too hard, hasn't slept in weeks" She would say before stopping before the door to Ka's main study, ready to open the door. "Before I leave you too him, what kind of snack would you like? It's bad manners to not serve company"

So Master Ka seems to hate being called Master Ka. It was as if all the pieces were coming together, and the full image of how Ka spends his days is coming into clear view. I'll be honest, this entire conversatin is very fucking confusing, a daughter that's this girls, who i figured for a servant, marrying someone i've never heard of. The fuck is happening around here? Is this Jessica person that Ponder...whatever lady chick? "A cup of tea would be lovely. Thank you for the escort, Miss." Honestly, this bastard living it up like he's the king of Pandora. Gently opening the door, Tumu would slip through, glancing around at the whatever he could see beyond the doorway. "I suppose congratulations are in order." He would say, not even to Ka (if he's even in the room). Instead it was more just a general statement, thrown into the air with no real destination planned. From what he's seen throughout the ever so modest compound, it just appeared to be the right thing to say.

Upon entering Ka's study, one of the first things the man would be able to see was see is a mountain of books and research notes scattered across the room. It would seem that the former heir to the Jiko clan has been busy trying to bring his clan to glory once more. "Ah,
Tumu it's good to hear from you again" Ka's voice came from behind his desk, where the bulk of the clutter had accumulated. "Excuse the mess,
And try not to knock anything over. Gaia be damned if trying to bend matter isn't time consuming" He said as the horde of books started to slowly stack up to line the walls of the room. He would look up at Tumu with a smile on his face, he was presently surprised that despite his attire, Tumu did not look his usual strung out Self. "Thanks for the congratulations by the way, after spending some time exploring the rest of the continent, she decided that she preferred my company and decided to stick around"

The poor kid was gonna put himself into an early grave with all this work he's been doing. Perhaps the life of luxury he built for himself will offset the stress? Tumu would scan the room, noticing the wide range of books. Well now this was a lovely environment to be fair, and to be frank it was impressive. Tumu had never taken Ka for the scholarly type, perhaps they had more in common than he thought. "Well, as happy as I am for you, it does make me question what is wrong with her." He had a smile on his face as he spoke, making it very obvious that he was simply joking around.

Approaching the desk, Tumu would run his fingers down one of the piles of books, dropping a seal on each as the information literally crawled out and spiderweb'd its way back to his hand. "After working hard with my studies in your studies. I can say i've discovered a method of bending matter." Holding up his hand, Tumu would bend his finger in front of Ka, joking around once again. "In any case, this isn't how a mortal should be spending his days. Particularly if you're taking the time to actually 'read' all this stuff. Get my shit and lets go out for a bachelor party before you sign away your mortal years with your new Lady Mikura. Also i heard you have a daughter? Talk about taking years off your life, kid..."

Ka couldn't help it but let out a laugh when Tumu asked what was wrong with his soon to be wife, it wasn't like she was being forced to stay. "She understands that the world is in desperate need of change, and after witnessing my abilities first hand she found me to be a suitable mate" Ka would say as he pulled out a scroll and summoned Tumus gear. "My mortal life is null and void in a few years, hence all the research. Though not all of it is research. I'm also drawing up plans for Carmen to look over and approve" With that Ka would stand up from behind his desk, and would grab his cloak. "Her name is Corrina by the way, my daughter's Name"

Changing the world, huh? Well at least his ego is still harbouring the same old intensity as before. "You really think I didn't know her name?" He would ask, all the while grabbing his gear and fitting them to his newly organised outfit. The weight felt so natural and comfortable, he almost forgot he was out of balance until they were all firmly propped up in their rightful place. Before he fixed his scythe to his back however, he would reach out and touch the small orb at its centre, checking it for any damage. After all, that small little orb was his entire existence expressed in digital pulses and static saves. "If I only had a 'few years', working would be the last thing on my mind. Then again, once a junkie, always a junkie." Finally ready to head out, he'd give Ka a quick pat on the shoulder. "So, what do you need doing, kid? I've got no plans for the next forty or so years. What political system are we heading out to disrupt today?" It was obvious that Tumu really didn't have any party planned what so ever. It was all up to the man himself, as to what they were gonna do.

"You didn't know I had a daughter, but you knew her name" Ka said as he would slip his arms into his cloak, realizing he had it held up by Brisngr, he would definitely have to make up with his promise, but for now the blade would have to make do foran outing with the boys. He had planned on spending the rest of the evening procuring more building materials for the compound, however he had a feeling tonight was going to bring out some well needed entertainment. "Hana Get Your Ass Dressed And Ready,
Time To Fuck Up Some Bars!" Ka shouted to his squatter of an apprentice, all while he placed his living weapon on his hip and moving towards Tumu and the edoor leading out. "Lets get you drunk and spread some chaos, shall we?"

Hana was silent after being shouted for for a few minutes, unusually so which only meant one thing. As she opened her door it wasn't just herself who came tumbling out but Jess too, having, in some ways, abducted the woman from her duties. With her arm hooked around the other girl they both peered in to Ka's office again. And whilst they hadn't been able to do much that a serious making out session, a fact Hana was a little disappointed over, the blonde was just walking around the compound in her underwear. Of course there were still plenty of fresh markings on each other to show what they had been doing. At this point though she couldn't really care less about being seen like that, so long working in the club that strangers seeing her nearly nude wasn't anything new. "Who's this then?" She peeled herself away from Jess, scratching at her chest over her Curse Mark as she looked the newcomer over. "Oh, you finally getting yourself some man on man action?~" Her Cheshire grin was wide as she teased her second oldest friend. "But seriously, where we goin'?
