STG - Denkou Ancestral Grounds {Yang Trial} (Takahiro & Colt)

As all of the members of the Yang Team stepped through the doors they would find themselves separated bar two who would have no recollection of falling asleep. Due to this while their injuries were not healed their reserves were fully replenished and they would find themselves within a maze with the only sources of light being the electricity running through the walls. This made them dangerous yet, it was bright enough to see which is why they would notice the path all around them, namely the fact that they were in a dead end while there was a single path before them as far as they could see at the moment.

"Good, for all of you who have made it this far you have shown your skills in different areas, however now we shall be getting rid of those who are not worthy to continue. Only 4 will make it, and each of you will notice that you each have a badge with a picture on it, each of a type of Denkou Weaponry. For matching badges you will receive 3 points, for any other badges you will receive 1 point and you will have 6 hours to get 5 points. The first four to get those five points will be able to leave this maze, all of those remaining however will be stuck here forever, do try to get those five points quickly if you value your freedom."

Colt had no clue when he fell asleep up he would slowly come through to find himself in what seems like the start of a weird maze. "Damn did i die already?" He thought to himself disappointed at the idea of dying too young without having given a few good pumps to Nyen. Now how will she know that he truly loved her? As he regained more consciousness he'd notice Takahiro laying right next to him, so there was no way he could have died and gone to gay hell. Not after all the diligent service that he has given to women. Massages and being a keeper of their underwear was honest work worthy of reward, not a hell where Takahiro is all he has to look at for all eternity. A few more moments would pass and the lightning surging through the walls would help him realize that this was just another part of the trials that they were going through. So with his foot he would gently kick at Takahiro's side to wake him up. " H..Hey bro, wake up. I think they put us here together." As he said this the instructions were given so that he and Takahiro can know what to do. Immediately after Colt would look to Takahiro for a plan. " You take the lead on this one. How should we proceed? Want to rush through the damn thing and just kill whatever gets in our way?"

Takahiro would wake up and rub his temples before picking himself off the ground as he caught the instructions from the mysterious man, he would then turn to Colt before nodding with a grim smile adorning his face. "We will end anyone who get's in our way. We can't afford to hold back now Colt." he said with his right eye shifting into the base activation of his Joukai Raidengan while the left was in the activation stage of the normal Raidengan as he would need to call on his own strength for this task. "Don't worry mother, I won't need your guidance this time, I'll show you what I can do all on my own." he thought to himself while holding a hand over his left eye before deciding to move forward relying on Colt to follow him yet remain sharp enough to react to whatever they would deal with in the coming future.

As the pair continued forward they would eventually travel for about 20 or so feet before they would come across a crossroad allowing them to choose a path whether left, forward or right. It was decision time and it was up to them to decide which direction they wished to go for lest they be stuck here wasting time trying to pick the best option or being unsure of their choices. It was only the first of several more decisions that will be required of them within the Mysterious Man's 3rd task, and it was already poised to be the hardest yet with not only a timer but additional challenges. The walls to the other pathways were not illuminated, in fact as they proceeded they would notice that behind them about ten feet to be exact the lightning circulating through those walls would not be present leaving in darkness. Quite an interesting trick, clearly whomever made this maze had a lot of time on their hands.

Colt would grin heavily as this part of the trails seem to be the most interesting. He'd chase after Takahiro who took a slight lead. This way Colt can follow and back him up if he needed, or come to a stop if Takahiro's reactions indicated that he should. Looking as far ahead as he could he would notice the fork in the path before even arriving at 20ft. So he'd take the time to use his shadow clone jutsu, to bring forth three shadow clones and make them rush past Takahiro in each direction. Once arriving at the spot, colt would stop for a bit and wait for the clones to pick something up, or at least for Takahiro to pick a path. Whichever he'd pick Colt would go with, but he would hope that the clones pick something up before coming back to him. "Sent them both in the dark but atleast we'll know where the traps are, or if people are up ahead. I suggest that we take the path with the most people, for the most chances of accumulating points."

"Then we are in agreement, I was thinking the same thing the more people we fight the better our chances of stumbling on those with matching symbols and the quicker we can leave this maze and join up with the others." Takahiro would peer into the distance trying to see if his eyes would grant him a bit of insight into either of the paths but if he wasn't successful he would just have to rely on Colt's clone scouting for the time being. Yet again one of his teammates seemed to be doing more than he was, he would have to pay them in kind when actual combat started so it didn't seem like he wasn't pulling his own weight. After all this was his heritage and they were here just out of loyalty so he didn't want to coast of their their abilities but would be fine if it was the reverse since their presence made him owe them favors.

As the two clones would head to their respective directions, the one on the left would walk and end up at a dead end while the one on the right would walk before suddenly being destroyed. In fact as Takahiro would peer to see if he could see anything he would notice the walls which begin to brighten with electricity before a deadly discharge of Raiden Release would fill the room incinerating the clone where it stood at Crashing Ground speeds. It was probably because the clone couldn't see the danger coming that he was killed so abruptly as otherwise he would at least of had a chance of fleeing the remaining distance before the trap went off. It was clear that such a discharge only covered at most 10 ft meaning if they managed to not only cross the distance in time but also be fast enough to outrun the discharge's expansion they'd be able to pass by the trap and not get caught. After all it wasn't like they could go anywhere else.

After a few moments the clone that went forwards and the clone that went to the left came running back to inform them of a dead end. For some reason the clone to the right never made it back, but information was sent to colt upon its destruction. Takahiro would peer off in that direction as well and probably gather some in depth information about what killed the clone. " Well we don't want to waste any more time in this spot, my clone never came back and although i cant tell what exactly did him in; I know that the only option is to go this way. Your reaction is far better than mine so take the lead." He'd take the time to place his left hand on Takahiro's shoulders to lighten him enough to go one rank faster than usual, and then lighten himself to be able to follow suit at A-rank speeds. "Unless you saw otherwise, we can try and out run whatever killed the clone, but it will be up to your Raidengan to help guide us. Its dark but you got this." Colt then handed Takahiro his Yo-Yo so that he can hold, while Colt holds on to the string. This way he can feel the direction that Takahiro is pulling and follow suit. Moments before Takahiro would make a move, the remaining two of Colt's clones would take off towards that direction at B rank speeds. The idea was to have them go forth so that Taka's analytical prowess can pick up on what went wrong before it came to him.

Taka would wait for the clones to go forth and spring the trap, and he would notice exactly what was going on while trying to analyze the trap to see how it was created in case he could potentially learn how to use it later. He waited to know the precise time that it lasted as well as how quickly the Raiden's Lightning sprung from the walls to electrocute them and once he had estimated the time he would nod before taking off wordlessly conveying to Colt that he needed to stick close. Regardless of the Lightening placed on him he would move at A-rank speeds, as while he was capable of reaching S-rank speed he wouldn't bother relying on the boon Colt gave him as he knew exactly what his body could handle and what it couldn't. He didn't particularly like it due to it weakening his physical power, but he would manage for now and treat it like a training exercise, something he thought off as he quickly ran through the hall to the other side before the lightning discharging from the walls could strike him. Once he got to the end he would slow down about 5 ft away giving Colt enough time to be by his side and continue scanning the area in case there were more traps.

Crossroads this time, it seemed as if this maze excelled in places which would be for splitting up or just multiple pathways each leading to something else. Once more Takahiro and Colt would have to make a choice, whether it was to continue going forwards or to head either to the left or right or finally to split up and try and cover more ground. Then again Colt did have his shadow clones which could be used for scouting it was much more chakra intensive than simply scouting out on his own or with the assistance of Takahiro. Then again the ball was once more in their courts as it was up to them to decide exactly what they wished to do this time.

Colt and Takahiro had full intentions on making it past the first trap. What he didnt count on was his clones making it past as well. Terrific, now he could continue with the original scouting method. Having sent his shadow clones in each direction left and right, Colt suggested that he and Takahiro keep forward. " I dont know man, want to keep forward?" If Takahiro agrees they both would press forward, possibly at the same A rank speeds as before to make haste.

Takahiro wouldn't answer but would instead just keep moving forward keeping himself ready in case there were more traps up ahead. This maze was unpredictable and he was lucky that he had back up, as while he did have clones they weren't nearly as useful as Colt's shadow clones when it came to gaining intel. As he ran he would hold the blades that were attached to his hips idly wondering whether or not he would actually use them instead of simply dispatching his opponents with ninjutsu. But at the same time there wasn't anyone worthy of crossing blades with, it wasn't like he was a swordsman but as a Denkou he had his pride, and his clan were skilled swordsmen thus he had to have a real challenge to force him to use them. He had to be worthy to wield those legendary blades after all, and hoped that as he got through this gauntlet he would get some more experience so that he didn't dishonor his clan's legacy.

As the two of them ran forward they would find themselves entering a circular room with no sign of an exit seeing as for some reason if they tried to move back there would now be an invisible barrier barring their progression. Within the room there were two individuals who had been waiting for some time, having gotten there before them, and they would actually both stand up from where they had been sitting previously. The one to the left had his hair in a topknot and possessed a bracelet on his left hand whereas the orange skinned one to the right would actually begin to stretch for a bit at their appearance. "Welcome, it seems your the ones that we have to fight. This one hopes you will die honorably by his sword." The one with the topknot said holding out his right hand which the orange skinned one would take before transforming it's shape into a lithe blade built for stabbing yet other than that he would stay in place and wait for them to come to him.

Colt followed Takahiro straight ahead ultimately finding a room with no exit. Behind them a barrier was triggered to prevent them from escaping and before them were their two opponents. Judging by how calm and ready the two seemed, this could possibly be the hardest fight that the two of them had yet. He'd listen to the opening remarks that one of the two opponents would make before looking over towards Takahiro and removing the previous gravitas effect to restore his weight to normal. Colt quickly scanned the room,and would step in front of Takahiro. Colt didn't plan to do the work for him, but he also knew that Takahiro could be the only chance he had of survival against Denkou of much higher caliber. The two of them were a team but if things get out of hand he'd need Takahiro to guard him, but there's no guarantee that Taka could do soo if he is pre-occupied with close combat. " Atleast you guys talk! Not like our last opponents, those dudes were sooo boring , Am i right?" Colt laughs at his comment all by himself. " Yo, the name is Colt and I hope you dont mind fellas but we are on a time sensitive schedule, so imma go ahead and start". Colt stood 30ft from his opponent's and Takahiro was right behind him at this point. He'd gather gravity release chakra and fire it 20ft in front of him and 80ft into the air. This ball of chakra neutralized the earths gravitational pull causing everything within the 200ft radius to being free floating. Colt's passive prevented him from feeling the effects of his own technique and at the same time allows him to be an anchor for Takahiro; if he chooses to hold onto Colt. From what Colt knows about Denkou is that they are excellent swordsmen with the power of the Raidengan. This gives them excellent movement and perceptive skills. But none of the means anything if they can not remain grounded, and without air movement based techniques, Colt would have little to contend with for his next attack.

He'd reach into his pocket and pull out one of his white series Yo-yos; while making his way into the 20ft range mark. He'd form hand seals at A rank speeds. Upon completion he'd long ten white series(yo-yo) clones with strings at his opponents and 10 without strings. Twenty yo-yo's in total ten for each free floating opponent. The yo-yos raced towards them at A-rank speeds to make ten counts of D-rank damage to each, or trigger Colt's follow up.

Takahiro would initially wish to join in the battle however when gravity vanished he would realize that Colt desired to fight them alone and would instead use his chakra to adhere to the surface of the ground realizing that now he was incapable of jumping or doing any aerial maneuvers unless he wished to have no control over his momentum. But he wasn't the type to not interfere when he could and thus after making hand seals he would gather lightning chakra into his fist which would glow brightly with electricity before he would punch outward past Colt aiming at his opponents. If they were within range then the ball of lightning would hopefully collide with them otherwise it would dissipate before reaching them.

It was fortunate that neither of them had jumped as they would find themselves unable to return back to the ground, however upon feeling weightless the one with a top-knot would anchor himself with his chakra using the tree-walking technique to remain fixed to the ground. Still he wouldn't move from his spot at least until Colt proceeded to throw the various yo-yo's at them, and would suddenly lash out with 20 strikes each using his newly gained Rapier to pierce each of the incoming Yo-Yo's at A-rank++ speeds as if he had struck in a single moment. Thus he would quickly be able to narrow down which were copies and which were the original seeing as while the original's would get knocked off course, the copies would instead vanish with puffs of smoke. While he did this he would activate his Raidengan to stage 3 boosting his eye-sight and allowing him to track the incoming projectiles with heightened clarity and reaction allowing him to detect if there were any hidden dangers that he had to be wary of in the future and if necessary repeat his assault to get rid of them or up the ante.

Description: The Epee Chanson samurai are known for deft movements of both legs and arms, however their primary speed is centered around their arms, focusing on lunging and stabbing with extreme precision and speed. With this technique, the Epee Chanson's legs move at B-Rank++ speeds while their arms move at A-Rank+. The danger of this style however is that if the Epee Chanson samurai has stood still for at least 3 Posts Total before this is used, then their first movement is buffed by a tier rank, lasting for their post and their immediate opponent's post only before slowing once more and requiring the wait period.

Description: With this technique, the user drives in with dozens of incredibly fast and difficult to see stabs that individually deal almost no damage but the true purpose of them is that they are incredibly hard to see but also cause a lot of pain, perhaps forcing a person to fall unconscious depending on how many stabs they receive. When used, each stab requires reaction tiers equal to the speed of the strike to see however each strike only deals a D-Rank of damage but inflicts a C-Rank of pain, making it quite easy to overload a victim. When used in a dance, Thousand Cuts strikes out additional times and boosts reaction requirements by a tier level.

Meanwhile his partner would actually be enveloped in electricity during said exchange due to having stored electricity within it's frame due to it's former status as a Denki Living Weapon. Thus would boost the lethality of his partners flurry of strikes making sure that in the event that the originals were encountered they would hopefully be pierced straight through and broken in the process. Together they were in their own opinion the perfect team with their abilities together boosting their overall skill by several magnitudes due to how in sync they were with one another. As for Takahiro's technique well it would disperse before getting to them, seeing as they were more than 20 feet away from both Colt and him.

Colt would smirk as the man with the rapier attempt an attack to find that all twenty of the Yo-Yo's would explode covering the arena ahead of Colt within the explosion(40ft). Colt had stored away 20-C ranks of chakra within the Yo-Yo's to cause such a large range of explosion and if the targets had not moved or blocked themselves from the incoming Yo-Yo's would receive the full force of the simultaneous explosion. Colt knew better than to repeat the same trick twice, so much like the Denkou members in front of them he had thought of placing a hidden Yo-Yo but retracted the idea when he prevented his original Yo-Yo from following suit(held it back last post). Not wanting to bring harm to his toys with the explosion. Furthermore the two would each take 10-C ranks of damage and now having dealt with damage, the possibility of being pulled up by the zero gravity is more likely, giving Takahiro a chance to follow up. Colt remains on alert for what might be the outcome of his attack and Takahiro's possible follow up.

Initially Takahiro had planned on ensnaring his opponents but seeing as Colt had him beat in regards to deception he didn't feel it was necessary to reveal his hand so early. Instead he would wait to see what would happen to them after the clones detonated while remaining clear of being caught up in the explosions. "You've gotten much better in my absence, I'm glad your actually using your brain now." Taka would say as he was suitably impressed by what Colt had pulled off, it was something that he wouldn't of gotten caught by, if he lied to himself, but now for sure he would be wary of such deception in the future. Still it was pretty good and he'd be surprised if their opponents weren't blown away by it, especially since they seemed like the dainty type. Then again maybe the Weaponkin would survive if anything so that he would be able to finish it off and turn it into scrap metal for a better weapon.

Well that was unexpected, to say the least as the two of them hadn't prepared nearly as much to sustaining such damage, to think Colt would have the foresight to think of such a plan truly showed how far he had come since his genin days. It was pretty obvious by this considering the detonation would take out both of the opponents with the ease that such an amount of C-rank detonations could leaving just blood, guts and a partially reverted weaponkin in chunks spread all across the floor. The only things intact were the badges that their opponent's possessed four in total; a Nodachi, a Kunai, a Wakizashi & a Katana. Clearly they had already taken out one pair previously and had been planning on making Takahiro and Colt the next ones, it was quite the reversal of fortune though. With that they would now be able to continue forward through the entrance their opponent's used or even backtrack the path that they decided to go to, the choice was up to them.

Colt's attack was a complete success. The effort he put into his initial attack was not in vain and had successfully defeated the two opponents before them. As the attack his completion all that was left behind were the emblems, entrails and guts everywhere. While Takahiro complimented his growth in his absence, Colt would be seen holding a stiff and distant look on his face. His demeanor similar to someone who has been day dreaming or is completely away from the moment. He'd turn to face Takahiro, nodding his head repeatedly as if he was answering a question until finally he'd turn away and barf. The whole scene was a bit too much for his perverted/ playful nature. Although he was the one who caused this sight, he still hadn't developed the fortitude for killing just yet. He'd pull himself together and spit the rest of the regurgitation from his mouth. Walking towards the emblems he'd take two for him and then hand Takahiro the Nodachi symbol and the Katana. " We won bro! with that i think we are both at 4 points, so now we are on game point. I actually thought that we had to gain 5 points collectively but i guess that its individually. So in that case it might be best we make sure to claim our 5th points together, just incase this serves as a transportation formula. hehe I wouldnt wanna get left behind in here." He'd chuckle a bit completely acting as if he isnt stepping on guts. " Well, lead the way! I didnt get much feedback from where we came when my clones searched so maybe we should head forward again, but then again judging by the multiple emblems there might not be anyone left that way."

And with that all of his praise had vanished as some things about Colt hadn't changed, he didn't fault him for it but he needed to get comfortable with killing his enemies if he really wanted to succeed in life as a shinobi. Otherwise he would just hold Nyen back, and her potential was too great to be anchored down by someone not willing to do whatever it took and not be unsettled by it. Still he would push such thoughts away he didn't even understand why that came up, maybe it was hormones or something either way they got in the way of his true purpose. "To kill that woman." he thought to himself strengthening his resolve and moving forward to take the badge from Colt, briefly he entertained ideas of taking Colt's badge as well as it would give him enough points to proceed but he pushed them away for now. He wasn't that desperate, they still had time and he would keep moving forward sprinting onward at B-rank speeds through the entrance that their now dead opponents had most likely came through."The more we talk, the more time we waste."

As they head forward they would come across a bend where two bodies lay, one of them had a perforated opponent as if something had stabbed them all over while the other was extra crispy most likely the result of a powerful lightning technique striking them. Either way it looked like the handy work of the two who they had managed to defeat without any sort of fuss. Judging from the condition of the bodies it didn't happen all that long ago, anyways if they continued past them they would come across a fork in the road, one was a simple path while the other had a pit while the sides of the path were electrified with Raiden's lightning which only Takahiro would be able to see due to having his dojutsu active. Past the pit was another path, so now the choice was two fold do they either take the beaten path which had most likely already been traveled by their deceased opponents or would they try there hand at passing what seemed impassable.

Colt followed after Takahiro being sure to match him in speed. No matter which of the paths Takahiro chose, he'd follow. This way he knows that with Takahiro leading the charge that, Taka could make quick work of opponents, or traps ahead. He'd keep his Yoyo handy as he moved through the maze occasionally looking back to make sure that they arent being followed.

Takahiro would stop before the mouth of the drop holding out his hand so that Colt would stop as well, he could see the lightning on either side and would look back towards his teammate knowing there was only one way they'd be able to pass such a thing together. "Colt, if you could use that anti-gravity field again we should be able to float across this gap with ease. I can understand if your tried though, you did use a lot of chakra in the last fight." Taka muttered the last part once again one of his teammates was preforming better than him, was all his training not enough? Or was it that he hadn't gotten any opportunities to shine just yet and there was still hope for him in later clashes? Either way if Colt agreed he would move back before using A-rank speed to clear the gap seeing as with the anti-gravity he wouldn't touch the floor and thus not sink into the pit and keep his forward momentum until he reached the other side. If Colt did end up doing the same then they could just land once they got to the other side when he removed his gravity effect, assuming he could do that otherwise Taka would have to just figure it out once they were over.

Colt performed the hand seals once more to do just as Takahiro had instructed. A smile would come onto his face now as the feeling of coming closer to reuniting with his team mates was near. So far he's done an exceptional job in keeping his Ace fresh and ready for combat. This also brought him some sense of security knowing that in this maze containing tough breed opponents that he and Takahiro remain strong and restless. With the completion of the technique, he would follow Takahiro across, after landing safely he would remove the anti-gravity effect and continue with Taka leading.
