Dancing with the Bees [Mu's Solo Training]

Mu had awoken this morning to take a nice long bath. It was warm and scented with the most fragrant oils. He could've sat in there for all of eternity, but he wanted to get some missions done today. So he got up and slipped into a good mission outfit. A skintight sleeveless turtleneck shirt, similar black shorts with a red kimono draped around his form. He put on his customized shinobi sandals and examined himself in the mirror. The sandals added a few inches to his height, which he smiled at. He had brought some make-up the other day, but he decided not to go overboard with it. Some eyeliner and a bit of lip gloss would do for today. When he walked downstairs, his mother was already gone. He made himself a quick breakfast before heading out, saying goodbye to his cat sleeping by the door.

He made his way to the mission hall and snatched a simple escort mission. He would come to regret it, however. I really wished he hadn't taken that mission.... He thought to himself as he dashed backwards away from the bandit's flashing blade. The caravan he was supposed to be escorting had been fell upon by a group of bandits. Not just any bandits, but Shinobi Bandits. He cursed as a water bullet crashed next to him. He zipped away from the caravan, so the cargo wouldn't be damaged. The bandits followed, as he thought they would. He came to a halt in a little clearing and they surrounded him. There were four of them, one woman and three men. He knew the woman was the one who had used the water bullet on him before, so she was a water release user and he knew one of the men used fire release, though not which one. He smirked and made a come-hither motion to the nearest man. When they all stepped forwards, he smirked and began to preform hand seals. A breeze whipped up around him, and to their eyes he split into ten copies, each rushing them. It was all an illusion however, they wasted their time swatting at spectral images whilst he just stood there, patting himself on the back for his cleverness. As he was doing this, the man who wielded fire sent out a fire ball at the illusory images. Mu had the barest of moments to leap out of the way, though his kimono caught on fire. He quickly put it out, but turned a venomous glare onto the offending man. This was his favorite kimono. His eyes filled with rage and he gripped the hilt of his sword with bloody rage in his eyes. It seemed like a single step forward and he was behind his foe, sheathing his sword without anyone ever seeing his draw it. The man fell to the ground, ten wounds seeping blood. He fell to the ground, heavily injured but not yet dead. Mu sighed and fixed his hair before turning to the others. A simple heel strike sent the woman flying into the wall for an easy KO. The other men were felled by the mental damage from his genjutsu. That was new, given the rather low rank of said genjutsu. He shrugged it off and turned back to the caravan. He grabbed a length of rope and walked back to tie the bandits together. Once that was done, he marked the location and escorted the caravan to their destination.

When he returned to the village, he found that the bandits had been turned captured. Turns out the merchants of the caravan had sent a runner back to the village as he did battle. He waved to them all before collecting his reward and moving on. He didn't really have anything else to do for today, so he thought of things to do. He could go visit Occam and Yuki...but he didn't think they liked him too much. Well, Yuki hated his bugs but he was sure Occam just disliked him in general. It was a bit upsetting, since they were team mates and all, but he was getting used to it. He could visit his cousin, since she was here now. He shook his head at those thoughts and just decided to just take another mission.

Before he did that however, he had to take his favorite kimono to the tailors. He went home and changed into a bubble gum pink kimono with a floral pattern, carrying the other draped over one arm. He walked along the streets on his way to the tailor. As he did, he checked the windows of all the stores he passed in case anything caught his eye. Nothing really did, so he just kept walking. When he got to the tailors, he set the kimono on the counter whilst the woman examined it like she was looking at some delicate piece of art. She glared up at Mu once she caught sight of the scorch mark in the fabric. She shooed him from the store furiously, with the blonde male apologizing profusely. She hated when he damaged her work.

Mu was regretting most of his life decisions in this moment. Who told him it was a good idea to take another mission? No one. It was a ridiculous idea from his own ridiculous head. He cursed under his breath as he leaped away from the horns of the boar charging at him. He didn't want to hurt the creature, but it was causing trouble for the farming couple that had put in the urgent mission request. It whipped around faster than Mu would've expected, a tusk ripping through the fabric of the royal blue kimono he wore. Anger flashed in Mu's eyes and in a moment he was behind the creature, sheathing his blade. As he did so, a clean cut wound opened the creature's throat wide, blood spurting free. It collapsed and Mu walked passed the farmers and their looks of awe. He had another kimono to take to his tailor. She was going to kill him.
