Chunin Exams Round 1 [Room 4]

She was glad that there were exceptions made to the paper that would allow Mariah to hold them when they were given to her. It was good, it meant that nothing untoward would happen for any Entity students that might be around although she was pretty sure they were in the minority, she wasn't an Entity herself despite the intangibility leading people to believe that. Instead she was something different, maybe a little more special. With that Mariah floated into the room, making sure to open the door first so that the papers wouldn't get caught even though she could move straight through it. Once she was in she looked over everyone, checking elemental compositions so she knew what to look out for in regards to cheating via ninjutsu and with that she handed out each of the papers before floating above her desk, hands folded in her lap after dusting down her skirt.

"Okay everyone! I'm glad you're here and listening. My name is Mariah Juryoku and I am the proctor for this little part of the exams. Do not flip over your tests until I tell you to and do not start until I tell you to. If you do either of these then I will immediately fail you and toss you out of the room myself. If you are caught cheating during this exam... Out of the room you go! If someone walks in late they lose points, if they are here more than half an hour after the start... They are classified as Very Late and will have even more points deducted. If they do not show by the end of the examination then they, and their team, will immediately fail. You may forfeit at any time however this is a team game, you forfeit... Your team forfeits. I'll be watching you all like a hawk, a very humanoid hawk! Now my little bundles of youth and energy, go forth! Go forth and become wonderful! You may flip your tests. You have one minute to read the questions." She nodded and watched them all, keeping track of the time with a clock at the back of the room so she wouldn't have to look away from them.

When the minute was up she threw her hand forwards and grinned widely. "You may begin your tests!" She declared before falling silent, resting her chin on her hands and watching them all, a little smile on her features. It made her very happy to see these little flames being fanned...

Himiko sighed as she stepped on in to the room and putting herself into one of the desks without much hesitation. Ok there was some hesitation as she was still trying to break in the outfit Armen had given her before their journey. She definitely felt strange wearing it. Seeing the papers on the desks, even without seeing she instantly knew... she wasn't going to do well. When it came down to it, she barely knew the basics when she became a genin, and since then she'd put too much focus on her abilities and her Priestess duties. She said little, just putting on her air of confidence as she ever did and smiling at her fellow team members, before the exam officially began.

This wasn't a long boat ride like the one he last took to the land of madness. This was both good and bad, because Armen is still energized but he doesn't have all the time that he thought he would have to meet people and come up with a strategy for his team. In fact the moment he got there , he was placed in a room already being instructed that the first part of the exams are about to start. Armen had expected a pep talk of some kind from his sensei, or one last huddle before they all go into the exams, but none of that happened. At the very least Armen had done his best from when he returned from the mission, on the boat and to now to prepare his team. He has equipped them with weapons, writing utensils, and even an outfit that Armen walked in wearing his blue and black costume with his head band around his neck. He heard the instructions but he was honestly a bit distracted by the floating person in the room. One of Armen's dislikes are demons or demonic activity, and he perceived that as purely demonic. How is he to focus now on this test, a test he knew nothing about. Once the proctor said begin armen would begin do just that, but get stuck on the first question... "whats my name? da f*(k dey call me many tangs !", he would think to himself as the young thuggish ruggish strategist begins to sweat.

Decimus rarely traveled so getting on a boat and going off to some random land that he hardly knew didn't really strike him as all too fun but at the same time it was exciting. It wasn't just the trip that excited him, he was hyping up just about everything on their way to the destination "dayum that's a ballin' ass ocean. Oh snap look at dat rock, killin' tha game". It went on like that for awhile. When they finally did arrive they were escorted to some room so that they could start the exams (Da hells we doin' up in hur? Aint nobody got time fo dis) he wouldn't speak aloud seeing how he didn't know all too much that was going on. He had hoped that his squad would get the opportunity to get together and rally one another but that didn't seem to be the case, they just tossed them in a room and sent um straight to work. Decimus would be sporting the new outfit that his brother had decided to give them prior to their arrival. He would take his seat and stare at the piece of paper blankly half tempted to just rip it up and be gone, but they had to do it. The test had begun and Decimus would continue to stare at the paper (Team name? what the hell is this corny bologna bs.. we team deez hands fo) he would say to himself as he already knew this was going to be rough.

Armen was hard at work with his test, answering his questions like a good little ninja until it happened. Brutha got stuck on some questions. He didnt know what to do and he was unfamiliar with the proctors abilities. She seemed nice enough but he was sure that if he would cheat that it would mean the end of his team and their chances if they got caught. And so he wouldnt do what he planned orginally, instead he would calm himself and make himself aware of his surroundings. He couldnt believe they put him soo close to some genins from another team. Everytime they wrote both there elbows would bump him, and it just came to the point where he would attempt to write and his elbow and their elbows would bump together. Armen would stand up clinching his paper to his chest and raising his hands trying to get the proctors attention. His eyes would start getting a bit glossy and if given the permission Armen would begin to speak. " im sorreh mrs proctor. U gav meh such an inspirin speech befo mah exams, about goin forth and becomin wondehful!" He would hesitate a bit as he gets more emotional. " i...i dont give up, but if ya may can i sit somewhere else? i cant become wondehful hur. i feel like dem folks keep bumpin me and its destractin mah evolution! pleaze pleaze if i cant mov proctor i will sit calmly and continue mah test but if ya may, let dis catepilla get his wangs".

It was truly inspiring to see someone stand up and try and do something so blatant. She couldn't give him into trouble for it but there was definitely something going on. With a flicker, she suddenly appeared in front of Armen, directly in his face, watching him intently with her deep red eyes. She raised an eyebrow and cocked her head to the side before giving a gentle hum. This close, the coldness pulsing off of her body would be obvious, frost starting to crackle over the desks around them, but looking back at the desk, a clone would be left sitting there with a smile, watching everyone. Mariah tapped her lips for a moment before looking around and then shaking her head. "Nope! You aren't allowed to move. However you can nudge the desks either side of you away if you'd like but I'm staying right here to watch you, so you don't mess anything up." She told him, hands on the desk and leaning in even closer, a big smile splitting her features. She really wanted someone to try something, it would be so much fun.

Armen showed discouragement on his face when the proctor told him to sit back down. He slowly sat back down and did exactly what he was instructed. Moving the desk slowly as the proctor watched him carefully. This time, he timidly raised his hand, "I'm sorreh if i upset ya. I won't cause no mo trouble but i jus dun undastand why dey still hur; dey already ate der papehs. Dey jus goofin off." If the proctor would investigate, she would notice that the other two Genins had no papers on their desks. Armen had just his paper on his desk covering as if he was protecting the answers.

The girl raised an eyebrow and then looked to either side for a moment before tapping her chin. She then looked back to her Doppleganger who just gave a shrug. Both of the kids sat there, looking at their desk as though they'd just seen a ghost before looking up at Mariah... Who kind of was a ghost. She gave a shrug herself and then said to them. "Hey, both of you... Same team right? Good... Yeah you're both out, same with your buddy." She sat up and shouted across the room. "I SEE YOU TRYING TO HIDE IN THE BACK CORNER! YOU'RE DISQUALIFIED AS WELL! GET OUTTA HERE!" She shouted and all three got up sadly before leaving the room. She then looked back at Armen and leaned in close, narrowing her eyes. "I don't know what you done... But you done something..." She whispered so only he would hear before giving him a wink and then floating back to the front of the room, flopping onto the lap of her doppleganger so that she could get her hair played with, that was always fun.

Himiko wasn't even really aware what her teammates were doing, trying her best to stiffle a laugh at the very, very obvious voice that was Armen. She remained focused however, trying to get through the exam combining both quick thinking and instinct. Perhaps not the best way to approach a written exam, but it was Himiko's way. And as she finished and looked back, over them, she found no other answer coming to mind. Besides, giving her own flair was more fun. Feeling long done, she kept her eyes down whilst raising her hand, "Yeah... permission to hit my team mate with a small blast of water for making me wear this costume to this written portion? That's the guy who had his arms blown off and was just stood up," A grin crossed her face as she was partially calling him out on that. "I'm also done, felt I should tell you. But y'know... priorities."

Armen told the proctor about his findings. To Armen's surprise the proctor actually kicked them out. Atleast he looked surprise. As they walked away sad Armen would inch his desk even more so as if he wanted to avoid any of them turning back and trying to hit him. He almost inched too much into a female genin from the last remaining team until Armen would take notice and stop having only his knee make contact with the female genins knee. He would stop the contact as he didn't really want to get the genin girl thinking that he wanted anything more from her. Either way he couldn't even talk to her anyway because there the proctor was right in Armen's face. She would say something to Armen that would make him shiver a bit. At this point Armen knew that if one more person ended up "eating their papers" that he'd be in some big trouble. Only a few moments passed as himiko seemed to have finished her exams and started making fun of Armen. If the proctor paid any more attention to Armen after himikos comment she would see Armen looking sad. At first one may think it was because of the comment but Armen seemed to be partially fighting with himself while raising his hands.if given the permission once more he would keep reverence and speak, " ms.proctah. I'm...I'm done wit mah exams. But he looks really sad as if he didn't want to confess something and it's eating him up inside. "i dun thank I gets deez exams. Lik if I cans get sum bodeh to do mah tes fo me ain't dat cheatin? Armen protected his test as if all his answers were the right ones and he didn't want anyone else to have his knowledge. He waited curiously for the proctors reply knowing that if she looked around there would be no more missing tests on anyone's desk.

"Enough talking!" Mariah barked at the room, specifically giving a glare to Himiko to make her quieten down before snapping her eyes to Armenezra. She was willing to let them get away with one thing under her nose but they'd have to be stealthier for the next bit and trying to wrangle her with words, which admittedly she wasn't very good with, was a surefire way to get in her bad books. She narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "No more talking. Sit down, finish your test, if anyone is finished, flip your test over so that the answers are face down, that way I can tell when everyone is done so I can come and collect them all. I'll have no more talking, I'll have no more interruptions unless they are for a very, very good reason." She told them all before rolling onto her hip, resting on her dopplegangers lap so that both of them could watch the room. She probably wasn't being too professional but she was here because she was useful, being professional wasn't what she was told to be. Watch the kids, make sure to catch blatant cheating, reward subtle cheating, especially if she could see it. So with that she nuzzled into her own arm, eyes falling half lidded. If anyone else tried to talk to her she was probably going to get mighty mad... Hopefully everyone would realise that doing so was a bad idea and she could get a bit of rest. At least her dopple was good for looking out for everything and two eyes were better than one.

Armen turned his test over signifying that he had finished. But if the proctor paid any attention to the room, she'd notice Armen's body language, he looked increasingly upset, as he crossed his arms and shook his leg around as if he had something he really wanted to tell her. He lowered his head so the proctor couldn't see his annoyed face and waited for Decimus to finish. Though his arms were crossed, his right index finger would be erect as if he was pointing at something. The room was soo quiet and Armen wouldn't make a sound. The entire time Armen sat a good two feet away from the girl he was pointing at. If the proctor looked over she would notice that the girl has additional test papers sticking out of her coat. Armen wouldn't say a word just pointing and waiting on Decimus to finish and the proctor to come collect his test and get a closer look at his body language, he wasn't touching the girl he wasnt looking at her, nothing at all.

Strangely enough, as Mariah scanned over that girl, there were no extra test papers in her pocket, just a couple of pencils poking out. Sure enough Mariah didn't have the reaction tiers necessary to see what was going on, but that didn't mean no one had them, it was pretty good then that one of the girl's allies had warned her very quickly as to what had happened and she had quickly used a small transformation technique on them, turning the papers into pencils before Mariah could see what was going on. She narrowed her eyes at the little burst of chakra but assumed that it was subtle cheating and she nodded, giving the girl a few extra points in her head. So with that it was getting to the close of the examination. She got up and moved past each person, picking up the tests and folding them into a little pile before she moved back and tapped them on the desk. She put them down and then waved to the door. "You may all leave, you will receive your results... At some time, the next round will more than likely be starting soon." She told them with a soft smile.

Armen would stare down at his desk letting the other team go before him. He choose not to speak with the proctor since she told them all to stop talking . Armen really wanted to ask his question but after noticing that the female genin didnt get disqualified he would walk up to his team mates and speak with them still being in the room knowing that the other team had left already. " How'd yall do?

As the first member of the second team in the room grabbed the handle of the door, a cloud of blue-white gas exploded into the room, misting all of them. I that didn't work, such as any of them trying to hold their breath or the like then the genjutsu that triggered into the room, channeled via tiny chakra rods built into the floor, would be more than enough to put them out. Mariah didn't even care, in fact, she was immune to both of those things and no one in here was a Prime or part Prime like her so it didn't even matter. Everyone would end up falling asleep one way or another, drugged or mentally screwed over. How fun... She smiled and ran her fingers through her hair before pulling out the answer sheet and starting to grade everything.

Before Armen could get a reply from his team mates a member of the other team would open the door and a burst of gas would come into the room, knocking Armen out.

Himiko gulped as the group as a whole was yelled at, grumbling to herself and flipping over the sheet, slumping back in her seat and losing herself into her imagination. Anything just to pass the time really. She was only brought out of it when Armen was stood by her, turning and smiling to him, along with adjusting the fit of the outfit he'd gotten her to wear. "Well I wish you hadn't made me wear this to this test. I thought they were just for the actual fights," She said, giving her team mate another small shove, and looking to Dec, "So yeah, how'd you do then? Personally... err... let's move away from me for the mome-" She was cut off as the room was suddenly filled with the gas, "Oh wh- uh," She found herself passing out before she could do anything to halt it, besides realising it was a genjutsu and not being able to break it in time.

The entire duration of the test Decimus had been quiet, even through the continued outbursts of everyone else. In truth he really wanted to just flip his desk and leave but he knew he couldn't do that but he knew he for sure wasn't going to pass either, it was a very stressful situation for him. Time ticked by as slowly as possible until the very end. The tests would get collected and his team would convene attempting to discuss how they did "On some fo reals stuffs bruh, that test was mad jank im talkin--". He wouldn't get the chance to finish his rant as the room was suddenly filled with some crazy gas. Decimus would jump to his feet only to pass out mere moments later.
