Chunin Exams Round 1 (Room 8)

Subject: Chunin Exams Round 1 (Room 8) 8th July 2016, 1:37 pm

An individual immaculately dressed would be standing in the exam room having already received his pamphlets ahead of time for the test, knowing that every exam assigned to each room was the same anyways. Still he would adjust his tie before sitting down on the desk with his legs crossed as he waited for all the genin to arrive, some would begin to trickle in as there was only one door and when they all did manage to enter he would lock the door. "How boring, if you all would hurry up and get seated that'd be nice." Ada said in a pleasant tone despite the lack of interest which would fill his eyes as he himself had only taken on this job to distract him from recent events filling his life. Both of his teammates had left the ASN; one to become a missing-nin and then eventually joining the Pandora Empire, the other to become an ambassador for the shogunate having merely sent him a letter of apology before fleeing as well. This left him where he was with his clan his ideals shaken once more as the team he came back to was fractured, but no more.

He would hand out each of the papers once all of the genin had been seated, each of them were face down. "Do not begin until I tell you to, if you do it is an automatic fail. If you are caught cheating, automatic fail, if you notice that one of your teammates is not here and they walk in they will lose points for being late. If they walk in say thirty minutes to an hour after the test began they will be severely late, if they walk in when I am collecting test papers automatic fail. Know that if your teammate fails so do you also if at anytime you wish to forfeit know that your forfeit goes for your teammates as well." he said eventually finishing handing out all of the tests and sitting back on the desk while looking straight ahead. He had taken to wearing shades as his Zenraigan allowed him to not only see all of them at once but likewise not have to look at any of them specifically to see what they were doing.

"You may begin. I will be collecting the test papers in two hours. Complete this test to the best of your ability and I wish you luck" he said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes before he took out a handkerchief and would pat his forehead before immaculately placing it back in his front breast pocket folded in seemingly in one motion.

Liara rushed in immediately as she took her seat, she didn't necessarily know what to think of what was going on right now, but she hoped that everyone else would arrive on time."hmmmmmm....." Liara got out a pencil and a eraser. She even took the time to bring out a ruler, even though it looked liek she wouldn't need it. Though, if she had to draw a graph, she would be prepared for that. Looking at the door and then looking at the time, liara signed once more. She really wanted to pass, but she wanted to pass with her friends. But they weren't here, that was a bad thing, right? She was putting up a goof front, but liara was a nervous wreck. She would of only hoped that things would work themselves out just fine in the end.

Calesto had walked into the examination room prior to Liara rushing in at the last minute, making sure to have waken up early in order to get in the examination room early. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't nervous about the exams, however he had faith in his team's abilities to pass the exams. It was when Ada had given them their instructions on the exams and the consequences of cheating on the exams that Calesto had started to read over the questions of the exam, which instantly started to bring down his confidence. "Shit....." He said under his breath just before they were given the go ahead to start the exam. There were some questions he answered he felt were correct, but there were a few the he himself didn't really know of, he just hoped that everyone would be able to get the proper responses.

Takeshi was the last of the three to entire the room and he would promptly take his seat. His uncovered red eye would scan the room thoroughly as he listened to the man speak. In truth he wasn’t expecting a written exam for the first round but it was a nice change of pace after all there was more to the life of a shinobi besides fighting, training and doing missions. Taking his seat, which seemed to be specifically made for Entity, he would read over the paper with an uninterested look on his face before beginning the exam. This would be a pretty rough couple of hours as he was originally a member of the Pandora Empire as such many of these questions were…. Difficult to say the least but with the little knowledge he had he would press on.

One of the participants would get up holding his test paper and walking to the front of the room however while he handed it over someone in the back would glance at him, before looking back down at their paper. "I forfeit... W-Wait I didn't mean to sa-" The boy said before after he said it he would immediately panic as apparently that hadn't been what he had wanted to say. Yet before he could redact his statement Ada would nod before ripping up the boy's test paper. "You heard him, your three are all done." he said once more with a polite smile even though his eyes seemed just as bored as ever. It hadn't escaped his notice, the boy had come to submit his test and was made to forfeit due to the actions of someone else in the room. He approved, it was subtle enough at least and it wasn't cheating so their was no punishment for it, pity the opponent couldn't throw off whatever he used against them. Now it was up to see whether it would happen again the next time a test taker tried to submit their paper or if something else would happen. "That's no excuse for you guys to stop taking the test, continue on." he said once the three failures would walk out of the room one of them actually bursting into tears she was older so this might have been her second time failing, no longer able to become a chunin ever again.

And another one bites the dust. Even though liara was completely focused on her paper, it didnt really mean that her ears were shielded from what was going on in the outside world. That guy sounded mean, which made liara a little bit sad. Was it supposed to be this cutthroat? People's dream of being a chunin are being snatched from them left and right, was it always like this?" What if it'll be me next?" Liara's heart was a little worrisome as she continued to focus on the text. She knew that the others were pretty smart, Liara just wished that she took the time to study a little more when she had the chance. All she could do right now is trust in her comrades.

Eventually Ada would look at his watch, before nodding and clearing his throat he would say something but everyone in the room wouldn't hear him instead they would all get drowsy. You see during the entire time they were supposed to be taking the test gas had been filtering in and odorless sedative which would knock them all out. As for the Entity he would be trapped in a sleep causing genjutsu it was slow acting and very potent and keyed to his test paper so he hadn't noticed a thing until it was too late. Once they were all asleep Ada would proceed to not only collect all their papers before grading them frowning slightly at their answers and nodding in approval with others. Either way the first round for now was done, and it would soon be time for the second.
