A Blind Step Outside

The day was hot ass hell, pretty much just like any other day in the Land of Ash. The sun of course was beating down upon the inhabitants of the Volcano Village, and of course the strays whom venture around Mt. Jurassic. Despite the heat, it was pretty nice with a clear sky, and nice winds which gave temporary relief from the heat. It was the perfect day to get out and go on a walk, so thats what Zaku decided to do. The vampire would walk out through the gates of the village slowly as the wind blew against his pink hair. The boy would yawned as he faced the trail ahead of him, which lead through Mt. Jurassic. He was wearing his usual black sandals, red shorts, and his white long sleeved shirt. His katana was strapped on his back, residing in its sgeath. Thd boy's silver earrings would shine as the sun bounced off of them. Bandages would wrap around part of his head, just enough to cover his eyes from the world. He was blind, so it didn't really matter.

The boy was finally starting to get used to being blind after getting his eyes sliced from his Sensei. Apparently it was going to make him stronger. At first all Zaku felt was depression, but he finally came around to his senses and decided to make the best of his situation. After all, he learned how to use echolocation, and his other senses were beginning to get stronger little by little. So it wasn't completly a horrible situation to be in. He could still fight too. The young vampire had been training with his sensei ever since he got over his depression. He felt like he was getting stronger day by day. Finally getting the hang of using echolocation,bhe could now get some type of mental images of the world around him, even if it was only a short distance around him. Anyways, the boy would continue his walk with sn occasional click of his tongue to keep his echolocation active.

Techniques Used:

In the distance two people were fighting, one of them possessing wings and currently stabbing down at the woman he fought who was using a two swords to repel his assault both of them being locked in heated combat despite only moving at C-rank speeds. Due to the mountains they were partially obscured as he would have to get to the level that they were to fully see something besides the winged man and the head and the occasionally flurry of sword strikes coming from the woman. She would parry another strike but with a flick of his wrist the winged man would disarm the woman of one of her scimitars. Which would fly downward before embedding itself in a rock near to were Zaku was, he would then follow up with a couple more strikes quickly turning the tide against the woman who would hiss in pain as she barely parried his assault. Both of them did look fairly worse for ware cuts and puncture wounds were their weapons had wound purchase on each other and both were bleeding as well all in all it' looked like a fairly pitched battle.

Zaku would contine to walk down the windy road until something came flying out of the air towards the range of his echolocation. Even though the sword wasn't going to hit him, the boy jumped over to the side, not knowing id the tossed sword was an attack or not. Thanks to his short range of his echolocation, Zaku couldn't even see the pair fighting, but he did hear the clanging of metal and the hissing of a person. This would cause the vampire to check out what was going on. First he would grab the curved blade out of the rock, trying to dislodge the weapon with his enhanced strength (D-rank), perks of being a vampire. After being able to retrieve the sword or not, he would hurry to the direction of where the weapon came from before hiding behind a boulder. Thanks to his echolocation, even with the large rock in his way, after peeking his head out for a short time and then clicking his tongue he would get a better view of what was going on.

If he got closer, after of course dislodging the scimitar from the rock he would see that the woman was actually not a woman at all but rather a Naga. Now that he got a better look at it, he could see their relative ages, the man with the winds seemed to be in his thirties or something except he wasn't a Harpy due to being male and also because his wings came out from his back. Whereas the snake woman was probably late teens, he was currently winning and then would pull back after managing disarm the snake woman a second time causing her to make hand seals and exhale out a sphere of venom. Yet with two wing flaps he would blow it and away the naga managing to hold on to the ground before deciding to cut her losses and flee suddenly bounding to the left towards where Zaku was. However before she could get far the winged man would throw is spear pinning her tail to the ground and causing her to scream in agony.

The hawk would dive from the ground and land on her back before tearing it into ribbons with his talons causing her to scream more and them slump over with him screeching in victory. That is until her body shuddered her jaw widening as she suddenly burst out, shedding her skin and healing all of her injuries albiet slumping over immediately in exhaustion. Both of them would stare at each other nether moving, prey and predator except which was which. The Hawk moderately injured, yet armed with a spear weapon, the Snake fully healed yet exhausted from using a last resort, which of them would Zaku decide to help or would he not interfere and let it play out.
