From Snow to Ash {Traveling}

His grey hues looked towards the village that he probably wouldn’t see again anytime soon. This journey to the Land of Frost was filled with drama, suspense, anger and of course death. His failure to bring Gohan back alive would forever dwell on his mind as it was due to his hesitance why the young man’s body was now sinking at the bottom of the Polar Sea and though he hadn’t known the young boy for that long, he would never forget him. But now however, it was time for him to head back to the Land of Ash so he can continue his trainings in preparation for the Humming Bird tournament. Clair had said that even though he probably had no chance with competing with those who were light years ahead of him, actually participating in the tournament would probably teach him a thing or two and would help him gauge himself in terms of where he needed to improve and where he excelled, besides if he was able to hold his own against Cardinal and Platinum Knights, that would be awesome. “Well time to get moving.” He muttered to himself as he turned on his heels and exited the gates of Samuigakure for hopefully what wouldn’t be the last time. His next stop would be the dock that was situated south of the village so that he could get a ferry back to Ash. If it was up to him, he would’ve chosen not to take a boat back to the Ash but unfortunately he couldn’t walk to The Land of Ash due it being separate by the Polar Sea and he couldn’t swim across as well since you know the whole freeze to death thing that and he probably wouldn’t have gotten far anyways. It hadn’t taken him long, probably about twenty minutes to be exact, until he had arrive at the port. The port was quite empty, so empty it was a tad bit eerie, but this was the Land of Frost after all, people didn’t have much of a reason to come here unless they were a part of the TLAH order or just plain crazy. Walking up to the booth, Hiro would tell the person that was sitting behind said booth with a bored expression on her face that he wished to purchase a ticket to head back to the Land of Ash and after slowly handing over the ticket, he would collect them and headed to the ferry that was now boarding.

“Passport and ticket please.” The conductor said the moment Hiro looked to board the ferry. “Oh yeah.” He said before pulling out his Pandora Passport as well as his ticket. The man would simply nod as he scanned the pages of the passport comparing the image within the booklet to the one of the young boy before him and when he was satisfied he would stamp the passport and torn the ticket in half, handing Hiro the other piece. “Have a nice travel kid.” The man said with a smile before stepping aside to let Hiro board the ship. With a smile, Hiro would nod and entered the ship and took a seat near a window. Inside was rather full, which was unexpected, though it seemed that he was the only Knight inside as the ship was filled with male and female civilians, someone seemed to be blacksmiths, others merchants that must’ve been looking to ply their trades elsewhere. “Did you hear what happened to the ferry that was heading to The Land of Frost from The Land of Ash? It was attacked by sea bandits, damn sea bandits even sunk the ship killing half of the passengers.” A man to the left said to his comrade as the waited on the ship to set sail. He wasn’t surprised that people had heard about the news, after all those who probably survived probably let the authorities in on what happened. “I also heard that two kids on the ship tried to fend the pirates off, one was killed while the other was probably captured by the sea bandit captain since she had a liking for him.” Hiro would cringe after hearing the last statement. Regrettably the story about Captain Blake having a crush on him was leaked as well. Thankfully he was able to put the sadistic sea bandit down before she was able to make him her personal sex slave or steamroll him with a lariat. He was worried that the others had managed to get away, that and they saw his face so he had a feeling that if they were to meet up in the near future they would probably hold a grudge against Hiro for turning the first mate into a minced pirate and for punching a whole through their captain’s heart. God he was too young to have enemies, especially enemies of that kind of caliber. Well the best he could do was prepare for whatever may come his way, after all his Past Confrontations will help him deal with any toketsu’s passive ability in the event that he went up against another one of those dammed monsters. “I hope that Pandora deals with those sea bandits as they’ve been frequenting the seas quite a lot since the past few months, its bad enough that we have bandits on the land and monsters to worry about but now we have to worry about assholes plundering our ships!” Hiro would nod in agreement with the man’s statement. With the HUIT Oder being underground, it was his guess that they kept the seas safe so he would need to speak to the highest ranking knight in regards to this as there was no Humming Bird, then again if he became the Blue Humming Bird, he could wipe those damn pirates off the face of the earth, that way everyone would be happy! Well except the pirates but who cared about what they wanted? They didn’t care about others anyway. “And we’re here in the Land of Ash!” An announcement came over the intercom inside the ferry. He was quite happy that he was able to arrive back in the Land of Ash without any incident at all, it seems that the God Queen Carmen was watching over him after all. Getting up, he would head out of the ferry and into the port. “It’s good to be back.” Hiro said before taking in a deep breath. No snow, no cold, just like how liked it. With a new found pep in his step, Hiro would make his way out of the port and began heading towards the village hidden in the ash at vacuum samurai speeds. It was been awhile since he’s seen Kagura, Mary and Karliah and he silently hoped that he would run into the latter sooner rather than later, why? He had a gift for her and even though it probably wasn’t her style, he was pretty sure he could ask Jake-san to fashion it into something that could be useful for her. “Tsk, baka why didn’t you ask Jake-san since he was at Ibwa mansion.” Hiro said scolding himself after failing to do the obvious. Well no use crying over spilt milk, he could still send Jake-san a mail explaining what he needed from him that and he needed to purchase a house for the him and the two girls, so much to do but thankfully he had a lot of time to set his plans into motion.
