| Uroko Bishamon was sitting on his new bed in his new dorm in a meditative position. He seemed extremely focused on something, as if he was contemplating peace. But this wasn't exactly it. Uroko was currently focusing on his chakra pathways. He had forsaken the ways of his clan and was preparing himself for the first of the Eight Gates: Kaimon - The Gate of Opening. This particular gate was focused in the brain, hence his concentration. The first was always the hardest to unlock as normally these gates were locked tight. To unlock one took a lot of effort, along with giving up any chance at learning ones elemental affinity. But it was necessary to him. He wanted to do something unlike any other Bishamon. He wanted to become a puppeteer. But then why was he learning something almost in the opposite spectrum? Well simple, he hoped to combine the two so he could later on create a line of puppets he could wear and in turn utilize physical combat through giant puppets as well as turn puppets into weapons and armor themselves to increase combat ability and make a name for himself. To show the impossible is possible and to revolutionize the shinobi world. 206 Words - Trained:
Name: Kaimon - The Gate of Opening Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: C (D-rank Pain Activation + D-rank Phy Recoil Deactivation) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The First of the Eight Gates, which is located in the brain, removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of the user's strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. This grants the user B-rank Strength, Speed & Endurance while having a base activation duration of 5 Posts (Total). This can be extended however depending on two things, the user's skill level as well as their endurance tiers. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of a D-rank genjutsu, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the chakra coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated. When deactivated, the recoil from this technique results in the user sustaining D-rank times (x) the number of posts (total) this technique was active in Pain in addition to D-rank Physical Recoil Damage. Base Duration Modifier (Rank/End Tier/Both) D (+1/+1/+2) C (+2/+2/+4) B (+3/+3/+6) A (+4/+4/+8) S (+5/+5/+10)

| After feeling the rush of chakra as he had unlocked the Gate of Opening - Kaimon, Uroko was still ready to keep going. His chakra was never ending. He knew this one advantage could help him greatly in the future. But it would take awhile to get there. Now Uroko was focusing on the second gate, also located in the brain, the Gate of Healing - Kyumon. This technique would greatly energize his strength, even more so than the Gate of Opening. Though the Gate of Opening did drastically increase his spref , strength and endurance. Endurance wasn't even something a Bishamon was used to. They built their mental capacity more than their physical endurance as often enough they simply overwhelmed there opponents making fights short rather than needing the endurance to go on longer. Though the first gate did seem to open more easily, the second was taking longer. Maybe it was the body's natural resistance, knowing that if one continued to open the gates they could be lead to death by the final gate, the Gate of Death - Shimon. Shimon gave extraordinary power, making one equivalent to a God, but the result was none other than death. 200 Words - Trained:
Name: Kyūmon - The Gate of Healing Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: C (2 D-rank Pain Activation + D-rank Phy Recoil Deactivation) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The Second of the Eight Gates, which is located in the brain, forcibly increases the user's physical strength to A-rank and temporarily re-energizes the body causing, them to temporarily ignore pain during it's activation which lasts as long as it is activated or until the user activates another gate. This pain ignoring grants the user something similar to Pain Resistance in which the user registers that they are getting injured however it doesn't affect them physically or mentally. Depending on the user's Age this technique can likewise boost the duration of the user's gates by a set amount. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of up to 2 D-rank genjutsu in a chain, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the chakra coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated. When deactivated, the recoil from this technique results in the user sustaining 2 D-rank times (x) the number of posts (total) this technique was active in Pain in addition to D-rank Physical Recoil Damage. Age of User - Gate Duration Modifier Under Prime - +5 Prime - +10 Over Prime - +0

| - Training:
Name: Seimon - The Gate of Life Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: B (3 D Pain Activation + C-rank Phy Recoil Deactivation) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The Third of the Eight Gates, which is located on the spinal cord, which likewise causes the user to possess increased blood flow causing the skin to turn red. This is due to the speed at which oxygen is being coursed through the body via the blood increasing and as a result the user's speed is boosted to A-rank. While active penalties to the user's tiers as a result of Blood Loss is negated to set degrees depending on the user's age which lasts as long as this gate is activated or until the user activates higher gate. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of up to 3 D-rank genjutsu in a chain, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the chakra coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated. When deactivated, the recoil from this technique results in the user sustaining 3 D-rank times (x) the number of posts (total) this technique was active in Pain in addition to C-rank Physical Recoil Damage. Age of User - Blood Loss Penalty Negated Under Prime - Three-Quarters Prime - Near Empty to Empty Over Prime - Half
Name: Shōmon - The Gate of Pain Classification: Kinjutsu Rank: B (4 D-rank Pain Activation + C-rank Phy Recoil Deactivation) Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The Fourth of the Eight Gates, which is located on the spinal cord, which increases the user's physical capabilities making their tiers on par with Samurai Level which lasts for every subsequent activation of higher gates. The activation of this gate may cause muscle tissue to tear on use and unlike the other gates the user is subjected to intense pain during it's entire activation however due to the adrenaline coursing through their body it does not influence them more than simply causing them to constantly break out of weak genjutsu chains of up to (4 D-ranks) however depending on their age it can shorten the overall duration they can keep their gates active. If they are not put under a genjutsu the pain stacks allowing the user to use the pain they've experienced during the activation towards breaking a higher level genjutsu technique. including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Age of User - Gate Duration Depletion Under Prime - Minus 5 P.T from activation Duration Prime - 0 (Unaffected) Over Prime - Minus 10 P.T from Activation Duration
Uroko had been sitting there for at least an hour before the Gate of Healing - Kyumon finally unlocked. Feeling the surge of chakra flowing through him felt great, but it was only two gates. He still had six more to go. Then he could concentrate on learning other techniques as he got himself ready for the Super Saiyan technique line. But he still needed to focus on his Golden Puppetry techniques and build his very first puppet. Plus with the major drain of some of the Super Saiyan techniques he wouldn't be able to utilize them as effectively until he had managed to increase his chakra pool. Which sadly his clansmen had some of the lowest reserves in the world due to the Curse of Adam. If he could somehow overcome it then things would be perfect, but as far as he knew there was no way to overcome a low chakra system. He could probably ask his sensei, Jazz, if she knows of any way to bypass this barrier barring his path to greatness, but it wouldn't make too much of an impact on his plans if there was no way, it would just take him a little longer to reach his true power. But he did plan to be quite the opponent early on. After unlocking the second gate, The Gate of Healing Kyumon, Uroko took a short rest to eat and resupply his energy so could try and unlock two more gates before calling it a night. The next one would not be too bad as it granted him a great amount of speed, just as the Gate of Healing Kyumon gave him a great amount of Strength, the Gate of Life Seimon would grant him speed that most rarely held until at least Centurion rank. The Gate of Life - Seimon would also allow him to continue fighting without worry of being worn out from a lack of blood. It would give him quite the advantage later on down the line in a major fight. Luckily, the Gate of Life - Seimon was a gate that didn't cause much suffering if any, unlike a few others. It too shouldn't take but a few hours to unlock the third gate. The third gate, The Gate of Life - Seimon, was located in the spinal column, unlike the first two that were located in the brain. He needed to first concentrate on finding the focal point and once he found it he would then need to barrage it with waves upon waves of chakra till it gave through. It wasn't the usual way to unlock it, but along with meditation it did drastically increase the process. It was something only a Bishamon with their constantly replenishing supply of chakra could do, as the task consumed up almost all the chakra with each barrage. If not for this simple fact, Uroko may take days rather than hours to unlock the gates. The length of time to unlock the Gate of Life - Seimon took so long that Uroko lost track of time in his concentration. But when he finally felt the force give way to his chakra he collapsed, breathing slightly heavily as he relaxed from the intense concentration and energy he put into the task. It was a dreary process but would be well worth it in the end. When he checked the time almost three hours had passed since he unlocked the second gate, Gate of Healing - Kyumon. And the fourth gate, the Gate of Pain - Shoomon, would be even harder to unlock. If he calculated the rate at which it took him to unlock each gate along with the bodies natural reaction to each gate plus the downside to each, then learning the Gate of Pain - Shoomon would take him roughly seven to eight hours to complete, maybe even closer to ten due to the fact it was a gate that caused the most pain, though it would boost his tiers even more to equal that of the Samurai class who were often known for being superior in their aspects. Though the Bishamon with their Strengthening Excersize could overpower and outrun any regular Samurai on equal footing. Though a Reaper who combined speed and strength would probably be faster than them, probably equivalent to someone using a three tier or four tier combination. Uroko decided to take another short break before getting started on unlocking the fourth gate, Gate of Pain - Shoomon, as his time was starting to run out. He could only continue this approach due to his unique ability to regenerate light. But the Sun would be going down in eight hours and lights out would be roughly three or four after that. He needed to get it all done before he ran out of a light source to utilize in his training strategy. 814 Words | |
