1st Freshman Orientation (Oserotto Town, Oserotto Institute of Learning - Assembly Hall)

It was the 1st of Mutsuki, in the season of Fuyu the cold air and slight dusting of snow on some rooftops within Oserotto town contrasting with the excitement filling the quaint location. The reason for said excitement being the opening of the republics first school, the Oserotto Institute of Learning. Having received funding from Yvette Ocelot and comprising of bright young minds it was not only the talk of the town but also of the republic as a whole. It was unique in that despite being the first of it's kind and giving of the air of an elitist mindset it's enrollment & tuition costs were very low most of it coming out of Yvette's own pockets which is why enrollment of the first class was more so a raffle. From then on there would be an enrollment exam so it would be more equal opportunity as most likely other schools would open following the trend set by this one.

It was pretty early in the morning, 7 am to be specific and all of the students were gathered in the assembly hall most of them having arrived the day before though others had arrived even earlier and merely remained in their dorms awaiting the remaining students. The seats were filled and at the podium was the principal Christian Makihoshogo while Yvette Ocelot was seated behind him. Please settle down. Chris would speak into the microphone fitted into the podium outfitted with sound amplification seals so his voice could be heard by all within the Hall. "Welcome to the Oserotto Institute of learning, my name is Christian Makihoshogo, and I am the principal of this school. You have all been selected to be the first class and thus it is up to you to set an example for future generations of students. The expectations of the republic is now placed upon your shoulders however we teachers are here to guide you to greatness. I believe all of you have what it takes to become influential members of our society as long as you remain diligent with your studies. As you now know this campus has mixed dorms and you are free to utilize the facilities both on the campus and outside of campus however abuse of these privileges will see them revoked for the student in question." as he spoke the other members of the staff would begin handing out booklets inside was the rules and regulations as well as a tear off sheet to select their classes.

"Please fill in the tear off sheets as accurately as possible, this will determine your class and dorm placement. Classes won't be starting today instead you will be assigned to teachers who will help narrow down your course selection to better fit you. You can tour the facilities as well, and settle in but by the end of the day you will receive your official dorm placement and your schedules will arrive by tomorrow morning. Follow them to get to your classes, as they will have the room number, course time and the teacher teaching said course. Finally, Teiryuu Valentine is in charge of organizing the extracurricular activities as well as who you need to report to if you want to form a club for those interested in such things. All in all I hope you all enjoy your year. Work hard & do your best and not even the sky is the limit." he would end his speech by the time all the booklets were handed out and would receive polite applause from both the students and teachers. Walking away from the podium and off the stage, Yvette Ocelot would take that chance to get up and walk to the front staring at the students with an unreadable expression while waiting for them to fill out their booklets.

So this was it. The first day marking the beginning of a new era for the Republic, or rather the Yakuza hidden beneath it. Neo stood at the back of the hall leaning against a wall, as near the exit as he could possibly be. Aiya stood beside him twiddling her fingers nervously, never having seen so many people in one room before. Actually this was possibly a first time for most people here, it wasn’t a frequent occurrence for people on this side of the land. Exciting as it may be, it unfortunately meant that things were about to get busier, with everyone needing to pull their own weight to ensure it all runs through smoothly. He watched from behind, seeing everything and everyone reacting to the speech in their own way. Some seemed interested, others not so much, only showing the diversity of the group further. He had already pinpointed all three of his pet projects, the ones who had received his personal sponsorship, and Aiya’s little girl had travelled to the venue with them so she was never out of sight, but there was one person whom was a slight bother. The principal, this Christian Makihoshogo…Who the fuck was he? Neo has no doubt that he’d been part of the planning process for quite some time now, and he’s obviously from some former position of power, yet Neo had never heard the name before despite his network of spies.

The students of which I seem to have control of, or at the very least created, were scattered across the hall. Lego and Ogre sat beside each other in the middle, both being the receivers of Neo’s sponsorship after having worked a few jobs for his organisation. Beside Lego was his younger brother Queen. Perch was at the front, sitting quietly with his forms already completed. Four seats to his left on the front row was Oja, a big burly man-child towering over most of the other students. Cherry, the cute little one was all by herself on the far left, cuddling up to her stuffed bear tightly as she listened. By a string of chance, Mika was sitting next to Yumi in the mid right, with Yumi doing nothing besides opening and closing a pair of scissors. Vicky, Neo’s other investment was at the front right, silently teasing the boy beside her with suggestive moves. Tristian had just entered, late of course, taking a spare seat on the aisle leaning back in his chair with a smug grin. Finally there was Mitsuki, who was in the seat just in front of Aiya. Well with all that out of the way, I’ll hand in their paperwork.

Teiryuu, or now the guidance counselor as per request of Yvette, was sitting off to the side, somewhat napping and somewhat awake. He would know and hear what was happening around him as well as know the speech the principal was giving. However, he was there for Yvette not the principal. On another note for some reason one of the older staff members thought he was a student so decided to quietly try to scold Tei for lounging about while the others stood in place. "What do you think you're doing young man." Shaking his head Tei simply lifted his teachers ID up and looked at the man in the eyes. "You can go now" in a tone just as quiet but one that spoke with more authority than the other mans. Slightly embarrassed the man did a soft nod in apologizes before slinking away. With that Tei decided to pay a little bit more attention as he started to make notes of the students just to see what kind of people they were; some were fidgeting, which made sense they were the first, others seemed way too cocky, chances they were too nervous to even show it, and some were just petrified at the prospect of being there. Unfortunately, it seemed the Principal wanted Teiryuu to speak now, being the guidance counselor and all. Slowly Tei stood up and approached the stand to speak. "It's a pleasure to see all the young bright minds here today. First let me say this. Congratulations on being the first year of the Oserotto Institute of learning. As our ominous leader..." Tei paused for a moment and looked around as if to make sure the principal wasn't listening. "... Principal Makihoshogo, it is up to you to set an example for future generations of students. Now all aside, My name is Teiryuu Valentine and I will be your guidance counselor. Other than that I will also be the Director of Activities, which means... you guessed it.... Clubs, extra activities and the likes. So if you have any questions feel free to see me or ask one of your teachers. I look forward to working with all of you."

Xerxes was half asleep when Christian started his speech about the academy, only to be woken up fully by sharp jabs on either side of him from both Simon and Aki who were attending this academy along with him. The rest of the crew: James, Badger, Timantha, Rex , and the twins were all still too young to attend the school, so it would be up to the three of them to try and pass off some of the knowledge they learn onto the others. The three were filling out their class lists when Xerxes heard a familiar name being the club organizer, Teiryuu Valentine. What the hell was that going doing with such an important role? Xerxes was the one who introduced him to Neo, so why was he up there? Perhaps this was something best left for a later time to figure out.

Sanguine eyes opened to the world and Stalven sat up in his room in the Zankokuna compound. He rubbed his head and looked around, one eye closing over as he processed what was going on. Was it still dark? He checked outside and noticed that it was... Perfect. He rolled out of bed and hopped to his feet, working through his morning movements. It was just basic stuff but he had to keep his body moving, sitting still just wasn't in his blood, he was a Zanko, or at least he had learned he was a Zankokuna... He still wasn't sure but apparently he had it in his blood. It didn't take too long for him to finish his warmups. He then moved through to the kitchen and made himself something to eat, breakfast was the most important meal of the day after all. Stuffing a pair of granola bars into his pocket he then moved back through to his bedroom and sighed quietly. "Zankokuna have it rough, I really hate these bloody chains..." He muttered to himself as he sat down and pulled them on, clasping them onto his wrists and then reaching down to clasp the next set onto his ankles. He got back up to his feet and sighed. The weight was quite a burden but apparently that was part of being a Zankokuna.

"It's time." The To-Be-Hunter told the world before he moved outside, locking the door behind him. He then went out for a run, arms up to his chest, his movements smooth and flowing as he ran, fists occasionally cracking out as he shadowboxed while he ran. Exercise was important, kept the body strong and the mind ready for all circumstances. He ran towards the school building where he had been told there was to be a meeting of some kind, apparently a big student thing. A smile dawned onto Stalven's face at that. He was a student, he had actually got into the program and he was not going to mess this up. This was going to be the launching pad he needed to become the greatest hunter in the world, to finally prove his dominance over animals. The smile turned into a rather feral grin as he moved through the corridors of the school. His eyes flared with bloodlust and he hissed out a breath between his teeth but after a shake of his head he calmed himself and then moved through into the auditorium. He was one of the earlier ones there, he had made sure he had plenty of time to reach it so he wouldn't get into trouble and make a bad impression on his first day. So he took his seat and kicked his legs up onto the back of the seat in front of him, waiting until the address started to bring them down.

He listened intently to the principal and then grabbed the tear-out sheet and a pencil. He rotated the pencil between his fingers before he jotted everything down. It didn't take him too long but his hand-writing was god awful, it was difficult to move so easily with the damn chains getting in the way all the time. Hopefully they wouldn't bother too much with that. So once it was done he skimmed through the booklet and gave a quiet 'meh', he knew how to act like a normal human being, he wasn't going to be a ruffian despite his looks. Putting the booklet into his pocket he folded the tear-off sheet up and then paused. He wasn't sure who the woman at the front of the stage was now, admittedly he didn't know who anyone was. She was intriguing though. There was something about her that Stalven just couldn't quite put his finger on but there was definitely something... Something he didn't quite get... He narrowed his blood red eyes at her and waited to see what she had to say...

Zelana was to the far left and had been walking down the aisle handing out booklets while scanning the crowd to see if she recognized any of the people she had personally recruited, thankfully they all seemed to stick together though she did notice her favorites were near some she didn't recognize. She chalked it up to coincidence and left it at that. She hadn't really been paying attention to whatever the principal had been talking about more interested in seeing the other members of Epsilon and smiling at each of them when they made eye contact, unfortunately Yve-hime seemed to be completely business orientated so she didn't get the opportunity to flash a smile at her but she saw Ne-kun and fully intended on moving over to him when she was done collecting the torn off pamphlets. She had pulled out all the stops to dress like a grown up, she wanted to give a good impression or at least show that she was taking it seriously, and if she might say so herself she did look the part. She had even bought non prescription glasses to make her look smarter, though her narrator had argued repeatedly that once she opened her mouth it would shatter any expectations her students had of her.

Shut up. It's bad enough everyone pretends your not real and makes me look crazy when I point it out don't distract me this is an important day. Her Narrator agreed it was a pretty important day, he also commended the fact that there was no outright reference to the students mainly because he never finished his roster but realized that he had to post. It was a pretty clever thing, still he would do his best to fill out the sheet and make up names one the spot.

The day finally dawned on her, it was time! Time to get a proper education!! The kind her mama would've wanted her to have. She crept out of the motel she had found thanks to that Isa kid, who mysteriously vanished a few moments after pointing her in the direction of a place to stay. It was rather early, she personally wasn't obliged to wake up this early in a long long time. She made it though! Freshman Orientation! She listened through the speech which seemed to have much thought into it. She looked at her class listing and decided to be overzealous. She took classes which seemed fun and after counting. Was deciding to do over the minimum but not the maximum. Yah that should be good. Now to actually attend classes and the like. This was exciting. She never been to school before, thankfully she was taught how to read and write, though she probably shouldn't be so proud about that fact... Oh well small victories make up life and all that Jazz. She had to wonder... What club activities did this place offer? She hoped their was dance... If not she needed to make one... Oh her and the Counselor were going to have a word. She would quietly wait with her eager smile until it was time to bring in the sheets, swinging her legs slowly in anticipation.

Yvette would make note of all of the students she had been aware of, most of them being the children of those she knew from the upper crust of Republic society, her sponsored students however were all Dobutsu, she had saved them from the fate of the rest of their species hoping to re-educate them into productive members of society. She would watch as they stuck to each other, all of them being in the front in between a burly man child and another student who had already finished filling out his forms. Near was being helped by Violet who thanks to lacking arms was holding her quill with her feet yet was dexterous enough to do so without any visible strain. Zachariah or Zach as she knew he preferred to be called had finished his own sheet and was now occasionally glancing at the person next to him visibly annoyed that he was taller than him. The rest of her sponsored students were scattered around Zero was sleeping in the row behind them with a with his head in his hands sheet no where to be found, but most likely already filled out he was quick like that. The twins, Lapis and Lazuli, were comparing classes together making sure that they could be in each others classes as they couldn't bear being separated for long and where in the far back chattering without seemingly a care in the world.

Micheal had been diligently filling out his sheet before someone put his feet on his chair causing him to look back and glare at Stalven who didn't look like he even noticed someone was fitting in front of him. Electra seemed to alternate between filling her sheet and arguing with Seraph who was being bratty as usual while Sakimi seemed to be listening to music and checking out the other students she thought were attractive. Vance was waving at his older sister who due to handing out sheets and trying to maintain an air of respectability as a teacher was ignoring him much to his dismay causing him to redouble his attempts to get her attention. Calypso was.. was she aiming a blowpipe at someone?! Calypso put that away right now! Yvette sent a quick telepathic message to her most troublesome of applicants the girl flinching and the blowpipe would disappear into the folds of her outfit as she looked around shocked that she was discovered.

Either way she would wait a little while longer for all of them to finish and the teachers who were here to gather up the sheets before she spoke. She noticed that a couple of students were still missing but that was only to be expected Regal and his batch weren't supposed to arrive until later this evening thankfully this was just the orientation day and not the first day of classes otherwise they would all be screwed thanks to his negligence. Clearing her throat so as to attract everyone's attention "Now that you all have finished filling out the tear off sheet we can begin the tour, mind you this is optional but if you are interested please follow the teachers who are raising their hands. Those who don't wish to do so feel free to wander the campus and town as you like. Today has been set aside for you students to get familiar with your environment, however like the principal said you will be assigned your dorm rooms by the end of the day, regardless if you took the tour or not you will be expected to be at the dorms at 5pm. Yvette had her usual outfit on her signature scarf hiding the lower half of her face while only revealing her piercing eyes yet despite it's location her voice was projected without being muffled. Just like she had said four teachers did in fact raise their hands as they had volunteered to be in charge of the tour.

She hadn't spoken about where the dorms were located on purpose, it was incentive for them to either go on the tour or ask fellow students or a member of the teaching staff. "I suppose I should mention this, but for those who do not know who I am my name is Yvette Ocelot. I am the vice-principal and in charge of all disciplinary action, I hope for your sake that the only conversations we have are in the classes that I teach and not because of actions not deemed acceptable within the code of conduct of this school. That is all and you may be dismissed." With that she would turn off the mike and spare a glance at Neo and Zelana inclining her head ever so slightly in acknowledgement of their presence. She wouldn't stick around long though and would walk out as she had work to do.

It had been quite the eventful couple of years for Belladonna. Her life was like a never ending rollercoaster of drama, suspense and intense orgasms. She had seen and been through a lot in the fourteen years she had been on this world. She had witnessed the death of her parents, been imprisoned in the East dome for crimes she didn’t commit, became a missing ninja (not a very good one at that), and now she was in an assembly hall with the Epsilon Republic about to take on her newest endeavor, school. In truth, she had chosen the easy way out but you see it became evident that the life of a shinobi or missing ninja wasn’t for her as she was more of a pleasure giver, singer, and a sexual thrill seeker than someone who had the ability to seal bijuu and blow up villages. Thankfully Scorpius had found her when she was mimicking drift wood in the Polar Sea and gave her the opportunity to turn over a new lease on life, for the third time. “I probably should thank him properly one day.” She said with a twisted smirk on her lips. For now she would just read over the booklet with Lori so they could decide what exactly they wanted to study. “Bella-nii, the old man is booooring.” Lori complained as she tossed her booklet into the crowd hoping it would hit someone, preferably the dude that was sleeping since he was an easy target. “Tsk why would you do that dummy?” Bella growled before smacking the kid with her booklet. The last thing she needed was drawing attention to themselves but with Lori the troublemaker around that was easier said than done.

The masses stood and left the hall to go and explore the campus, as did many of Neo's students, however before leaving, Lego, Hamish and Zinogre (who had just awoken from sleeping right through the presentation) approached. Neo would hand over a small brown bag to Lego before saying only one thing. "Get the job done." He turned to leave after that, Aiya following suit after waving to Vicky. They were on a mount and heading for home not long after. Ogre threaded his fingers back through his fair, letting out a yawn contagious enough to spread through the entire hall while his companion inspected the package. *Yawn* "All good?" With a smile, the red haired late teen would reply, "Looks like it. We're in business. We'll meet you back at the dorms Ogre." With a nod, the group parted ways, with Zinogre going straight to bed, and the two brothers joining the tour. Tristan, the late comer managed to get an eyeful of the transaction which just went down, smirking to himself before walking away, leaving school grounds for awhile.

Perch also went to join the main group, following the crowd despite having already explored the school when he arrived four hours early. Oja, the fully grown man who is only a teenager, stood up towering over all his peers, walking through the crowd like a teacher with students parting ways to let him pass through. Hungry, he went off in search of food. Victoria would fall in beside Hamish, leaning across him to talk to his older brother, brushing her arm across his chest teasingly to make him blush in the process. "Got my share?" Upon seeing the happy nod from the tall boy, she'd cut pull ahead and cut across his path, the two stealthy passing a small package between the two of them before she joined a nearby group of girls looking to make friends. Yumi basically just stayed in her chair doing whatever she was doing, while Miku did all she could to try and get her excited for exploring. Suki headed straight for the dorm rooms to play her music in peace and little Cherry followed the crowd with her stuffed bear held tightly across her chest. She was too small to see anything, but too scared to leave the crowd either.

Tei sightly bowed before leaving the microphone and headed towards the exit but made sure to head in the direction Vette was located. It wasn't too unusual since no one would really mind him leaving as he had to prepare for any influx of students wanting to make a club. He strolled in Yvettes direction and decided to pause breifly next to her. "Its a pleasure seeing you again my dear. I hope all is well?" He smiled gently in her direction as he would scan the room slightly. "If you have the time you should stop by my office to talk before i get flooded by your prospective students." his voice was low enough so that only Yvette could hear him. "Now if you'd excuse me i will make my way out to my office." He would nod his head at her before continuing his walk out of the auditorium and towards his office.

As it happened, Stalven didn't actually notice that there was someone on the seat in front of him. He was pretty good at not noticing things when he didn't want to or had something, in his opinion, better to focus on. If they wanted to deal with him then they could fight him, that was all he had to say on the matter although he was pretty sure he'd need to tone that down, such conduct wouldn't befit him in a school like this. He sighed loudly and clanked his chains a few times before rolling his neck. He'd noticed a few other people with the same chains, people in the same clan as him, so that was good at least ,not like he had anything in common with them however. He kicked his legs down when the teacher came around, picking up the slips, and he handed his over before giving them a nod, if he'd had a hat he probably would've tilted it but he didn't. He should probably get a hat, it would certainly give him a bit more rogue-ish charm, might even help him with the ladies and the like.

Nevertheless, Stalven pushed himself to his feet and shook himself out, giving Yvette one last look. He'd have to try and talk to her, who knows, he might even find a way to get into her good books, now that would be an achievement. So with that he turned and moved over to one of the teachers, the one closest to him before giving them a thumbs up. "Alright there? I'm Stalven, not like you probably care at the moment but I might as well tell ya my name. I'm here for a tour, seems like a good way to not get lost and end up camping out in a closet as I ponder upon my new life as a spy for an unknown military intelligence that may or may not exist, yeah?" He told the teacher with a smirk before crossing his arms over his chest, well as best he could anyway with those accursed chains attached to his wrists. Hopefully the tour would be interesting enough and he could get into his dorm and get some sleep... Tomorrow and beyond would be the days for learning things, learning many things, including how to break people and animals over his knees. It was going to be fun.

Xerxes would Listen to Yvette speak of the tour that was to take place around the campus, and would shrug his shoulders. "You going to take the tour" Simon would say to him as he pushed up his glasses, to which her would again shrug. Sure it would get him closer to Yvette, and get him more familiar with the school and everything, but at the same time there were seven other kids back in their hotel rooms back in the city. "I'm going back to check on the others, I should be back before curfew" Aki would say as he got up and left the campus to go back to the hotel, leaving Xerxes and Simon in the auditorium to go on the tour. The two would stand up and make their way towards the teachers, only coming to a stop when they would reach Yvette. "Princ.......... Vice-Principal Yvette, it's a pleasure seeing you again" Xerxes would say bowing before her, Simon on the other hand would look at his "Boss" with a "What the fuck" look, but it didn't matter what Simon thought of him as he truly admired the woman who had saved his life more than once. "I'm grateful for this opportunity you gave me, and I won't waste it. I promise my princess"
