Through use of Two-Handed Draw and Distracting Blade, S-Rank speed and A-Rank reaction to dodge.
A-Rank piercing damage from defense tiers due to speed of movement.
Double increase in ESIP due to twin swords, knockback effect triggered on projectiles.
Name: Geka Style: Draw
Classification: Taijutsu
Rank: D-rank
Class: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Self
Description: The Geka Style version of speed tiers extends up to the arms, which is gained through constant practice until the art of drawing and slicing become muscle memory a skilled user not even needing to think before slicing targets. As a result opponents with telepathy/brain wave sensory are unable to read the user's mind to predict incoming slashes moving at D-rank speed. This technique is better used however with no feet movement, as the solid base allows a faster draw with the user's stance anchoring them in place resulting in all the user's Kenjutsu techniques requiring reaction tiers equal to the speed of the slashes to detect.

Name: Geka Style - Batto Distance
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: D-Rank
Class: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Description: The most important part of Geka Seido is the draw distance, which is based upon height, the taller one is the bigger the radius they are able to cover as their Batto Distance. This is likewise amplified by the use of a Nagamaki the two going hand in hand to create the optimal distance in which a Geka Style Samurai is able to unsheathe and simultaneously cut an opponent either incoming or attempting to flee. The draw speed of Geka Seido is perhaps among the, if not the, fastest among Kenjutsu and as a result it is often used to punish victims which get within range.
Height of Samurai - Nagamaki Length (Blade/Hilt) - Batto Distance
3 Feet & Below (1 Foot Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - ~8 Feet
4 Feet (1.5 Feet Arm Length) - 2/2.5 Feet - 10 Feet
5 Feet (2 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - ~ 14 Feet
6 Feet (2.5 Feet Arm Length) - 3/3.5 Feet - 15 Feet
7 Feet (3 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - ~ 19 Feet
8 Feet (3.5 Feet Arm Length) - 4/4.5 Feet - 20 Feet
Name: Geka Style - Battojutsu
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: D-Rank
Class: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Self (Within Batto Distance)
Description: The originator of the Geka Seido Kenjutsu style was a Samurai Cypher Hybrid who looked at the multiple styles of kenjutsu in his arsenal and noticed the inherent flaw in Iaido. Iaido isn't an offensive kenjutsu style, it is a counter-offensive style which has been honed into a lethal art. As a result the originator decided to delve through the history books to see where exactly Iaido originated from and stumbled upon Batto, the art of drawing a blade to initiate and attack not in reply to one. Combining that with improved speed and the Nagamaki resulted in the formation of one of the key components of Geka Seido. To Draw the Blade, as a result their are three types of drawing each with it's own effect.
Draw Type - Effect
Muscle Tension Draw - Proper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 2-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu)
Two Handed Draw - Standard (Kenjutsu Out Speeds 1-rank Higher Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu)
One Handed Draw - Improper (Kenjutsu Out Speeds Equal Speed Tier within "Batto Distance", if not backed by equal rank strength or possessing reaction tiers equal to speed of Geka Style Kenjutsu) [Geka Style deal half as much Damage]
Name: Geka Style - Deflecting Strike
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: D-Rank
Class: Defensive
Range: Batto Range
Description: Based on a later technique in the Geka Line, this technique allows the samurai to lash out with the flat of their sword to knock aside ranged attacks such as kyujutsu or shurikenjutsu by simply applying the correct amount of force to the side of the technique to smack it aside. If this projectile also explodes, the explosion is deflected to the outside of the batto range rather than affecting anyone inside of it. Of course to utilise this the user requires a draw speed equal to the speed of the attack coming towards them. (Can be used on chakra based attacks if a chakra flow technique is being used.)
Name: Geka Style - Erupting Sonic Impact Prana
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: C-Rank
Class: Offensive
Range: Batto Range
Description: Somewhat like the opposite of Martial Sheathing, the user imbues a powerful explosion effect due to the sudden movement of their draw. What this does is send a ninety degree arc of compressed air directly in front of them that travels at speeds equal to their draw speed to deal physical shattering damage equal to their draw speed. The damage can be lowered by one rank however to apply one of two effects. The first knocks back the opponent if they do not possess strength tiers equal to the user's draw speed, 5 feet per tier of Draw Speed, starting at D. The other however applies a knock-back dashing effect to the user, allowing them to dash in a direction at a speed equal to their draw speed, however the damage is only done in a ninety degree arc away from the user.
Name: Geka Style - Cloudkiller Defense Prana
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: C-Rank (1 Extra fatigue drain per post)
Class: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Batto Range
Description: Usually due to things out of the user's control, although that is not always true, the Geka Style user ends up in midair unable to plant their feet on the ground and utilise their draw speed to its ultimate strength. As such the Geka Seido user has to learn how to perform combat in midair, their Batto Range suddenly extending into a sphere around them when they activate this prana. Once this is activated, while the user is in midair, whether falling or otherwise, they count as though they have not moved their feet despite falling or moving upwards, as long as they do not land on the ground.
Name: Distracting Blade (Signature)
Classification: Kenjutsu
Rank: D-Rank
Class: Defensive/supplementary
Range: Up to double batto range
Description: With this Summer uses the side of the blade to reflect light into an opponent's eyes, causing it to be difficult for them to notice attacks or react to attacks coming towards them. How useful this technique is actually depends on the weapon. If Summer is using Glimmer then the diamonds on the side are particularly good at reflecting light meaning that opponents require 1-rank higher reaction tiers than normal to see an attack coming and if use to distract an opponent, allied attacks against them will require reaction tiers equal to the speed to notice. If used with a different weapon, only the former ability will apply. (Also used in post)
- Weapons:
Sword Name: Glimmer
Sword Appearance: Nagamaki with ten diamonds inset on either side of the blade. A black ribbon adorned with the kanjis of 'death', 'love' and 'family' flutters from the bottom of the haft, which is black and wrapped with light blue wrappings.
Sword Chakra Nature: Diamond Release
Sword Description: This blade has an interesting effect upon striking solid matter, although without further usage of this ability it only affects living matter. When this blade strikes a person it starts to slowly turn them to diamond in a manner equivalent to petrification. How long this takes is dependent on the endurance tier of the victim and can be expedited through kenjutsu of the wielder's. Can be healed with a medical technique focusing on removing petrification of equal rank to the user. Lastly if one has chakra tiers equal to the rank of the user, they are immune to the petrification and instead take diamond release chakra based damage equal to the wielder's rank instead.

Sword Name: Vexos
Sword Appearance: This sword is much like Glimmer in that it is a Nagamaki. However the decorations and colour scheme are much different, much more grim compared to her shinier weapon. The blade of Vexos is a deep grey in colouration, veins of red running through the blade. Several small holes have been drilled along the back edge of the blade however they do not seem to pass all the way through the sword. The hilt is white in colouration and wrapped with iron grey wrappings that are marked with lines of runic script in deep red. The pommel is bronze and drilled through to have a ribbon fluttering from it, the ribon being white with the kanji for 'Blood', 'Ash' and 'Fire' inscribed on it in silver.
Sword Chakra Nature: Ash Release
Sword Description: Vexos does not actually have an ability on its own rather it infers an ability upon its user. When this weapon is held on the body, be it in a sheath or in the hands it projects a field around the user that matches the length and reach of their weapon, for example a Geka Seido samurai would find that the range is equal to their batto range. This field is closely linked to the user's spatial awareness and they are able to detect anything that moves into the field, the general shape and size of it and where it is in relation to their facing.
