The Ring of Fire [Choke-Point]

Traps - These traps rely on the natural location whereupon lava flows have been directed underground and with explosive devices mounted inside the actual flows themselves. Thus when an opponent steps on certain areas, a person in the fortress presses a button and activates these lava bombs, causing a geyser of lava to burst up and destroy anyone standing on top. These have to be primed and armed though, which takes six posts and then once activated these burst up at Blinding Light speeds to deal S-Rank damage to all opponents in thirty feet.

Special Slot 1 - Hell Unleashed - A rather odd ability of the Ring of Fire choke point but a dangerous one, several of the Volcanoes have actually been primed for remote detonation. This can only be done three times before needing to be rebuilt but when activated, a massive amount of lava and rock is spat out of the volcano, showering the entire field with red-hot rocks dealing B-Rank damage every post someone stands in the field without being in a tower or Fortress. This also creates lava flows which move at B-Rank speeds but deal A-Rank damage every post that someone stands in them.

Special Slot 2 - The Sinkhole - Certain areas of the Ring of Fire have been hollowed out with a thin layer of rock over the top that is primed with explosives. Once this is activated by a button press from the fortress, the rock layer is shattered and anyone standing on a fifty foot radius is dropped into the hole unless they possess A-Rank speeds or higher. Once inside they require either A-Rank strength or S-Rank speed or higher to get out of the hole otherwise they are trapped until either released or slain/captured.

Special Slot 3 - The Scouring Waste - Also due to the volcanic release eons ago that created the covering of the Land of Shadows, a lot of the ground is covered in fine dust, that of Ash and even bone dust of hundreds of years old creatures. Those of the Land of Shadows of course have taken advantage of such a thing. There are several air vents mounted into the entrance of the Land of Shadows that when triggered from the fortress, spout massive gusts of air upwards into the dust, creating a massive dust storm to blind and choke opponents. This stops any form of normal sight, hearing or smell due to the cloying nature of the dust and whirring of the vents as well as dealing a C-Rank of suffocation damage each post that someone stands in the storm.
