Subject: Jagged Pass [Choke Point] 19th April 2014, 4:01 am
A Large expanse of rocky hills which surround the Plateau where Gekidogakure is located, the grass is rather sparce and the ground has numerous sharp rocks jutting up in random locations. The hills themselves alternate in size with the smaller hills being spread out in the distance reaching as high at 30 feet in the air stretching across 150 feet. This is then followed by he moderate hills which can reach as high as 60 feet into the air and stretch about 100 feet. Finally the large hills form a ring around the Plateau and number about 12 while stretching another 50 feet some reaching as high as a 120 feet into the air giving the entire area an oddly complex look.
Within the large hills are walls reaching up to half of the highest hill (6 stories) forming a barrier separating the large hills and the plateau from the remaining parts of the Jagged Pass. Each large hill has a tower built into it with each tower having an archer's perch and within each tower is an underground connection which allows shinobi to travel from the walls to the towers in the hills. At the base of the Plateau is a Fortress built into it's side which is undergoing renovation so that it can be connected to a cave network which is capable of reaching Gekidogakure. It current stands at 6 stories and while complete it was mostly intended as a relay point between the village and this fortress.
Small hills have a dry sandy enviroment sharply contrasting with the jagged rocks which litter the moderate and large hills. Though the Moderate hills seem to have a more humid climate possibly due to water cooling from the plateau and large hill formations. Within the sand surrounding each of the depressions around the small hills are mines which can be either detonated upon being stepped on or can be remotely activated by those in the Fortress.
Choke-Point Level = 6
