Zelana would walk into the hospital before walking to the front desk nervously, she had purposely avoided going home for the moment as she wanted to first apply for a job and then tell her parents...and clan that she had decided to drop out of the shinobi program. Well no she knew they already knew but were waiting on her to confirm it, of course for the clan heir to drop out it was a big thing, even worse when she eventually had to tell them that she was grooming a replacement for her, an outsider who wasn't even human...yeah she could already see their faces. But she made her decision she would have to hold firm now the most important thing was to apply as a medical assistant.

Hello, I heard you were hiring medical assistants for the non-shinobi section of the hospital. Um...I have an application ready and I have some schooling in shinobi medicine. Zelana said while pulling out the application she wrote up during the time on the ship, she knew how valuable non shinobi medical practitioners were to the hospital, they were less expensive and didn't exactly belong to the hidden village itself. Sure they weren't as valuable as those who could actually had medical nin training but that was a small edge that Zelana had over most applicants, she could use chakra not a lot of it but she also knew the Mystical Healing Palm technique and Chakra Scalpel two valuable medical techniques which usually only shinobi knew. Personally she would prefer helping at a veterinary clinic but beggers couldn't be choosy.

The woman behind the counter held out her hand to take the application. Once handed over she would look over it critically and then raise an eyebrow she would then turn to her computer and type in a few things before turning back to Zelana. "Zelana Yaju. Academy Dropout. Majored in Medical Ninjutsu and passed. Heir to the Yaju Clan here in Hakagakure. Hmm..." She looked at Zelana uncertainly. "Little young for a nonshinobi recruitment. I'm unsure if we can hire you. But you do have some knowledge in medical ninjutsu that could help out. Granted its just the basics, but most start there anyways... Come back in a week. We will have some tests for you to do and then once your done with those we will have a proper assessment of where you should go in the hospital. Study up." The woman then turned away from Zelana and filed the resume.

Hai, thank you. Zelana said with a smile before turning around and walking out of the area, finding a job was tough but hopefully she'd be able to snag this, more importantly she would have to speak to her clan members and inform them of...well things. She considered roaming around the tunnels in search of underground materials but now wasn't exactly the time. Instead she would bide her time, go home read up some more on medical theory and come back later. She hoped she passed though because otherwise...how else would she be able to gain access to the materials needed to increase her medical knowledge..

[One Week Later]

The receptionist woman who had first served the young girl around a week ago was replaced by a young man, roughly in his early twenties. He sat comfortably behind the hospital counter surrounded by multiple piles of forms and papers which haven't been filed. His eyes were squinted and bloodshot as he stared at the computer with a fixed interest, enjoying the simple tetris game before him. A young girl was suppose to be presenting herself today for examination, undergoing a series of tests on both her medical theory and practical ability, however, you could say that in the past week, the slandered testing procedure difficulty has dropped significantly. Though do not be mistaken, this is still a legitimate opportunity which shall be overseen by the man behind the desk. His name badge reading Charlie.

Zelana had studied her ass off, and she had managed to do so while enduring the shouting her parents heaped on her after learning that the Yaju Heir dropped out of the academy. She didn't know why they were getting so worked up it wasn't as if Great Grandpa Sangil even wanted one of his many children to become head of the Yaju clan, as far as he was concerned that was for Teresa. But parents wouldn't be parents if they didn't have something to complain about. Hello, I'm here for my appointment, I stopped by a week ago and the receptionist said that I should come back in a week after my application was reviewed, she said that there would be some tests for me? she said politely wondering in her head of Neo ever had to deal with this shit, probably not then again he didn't seem the sociable type and was probably in some wilderness somewhere unable to find a single animal. Heh...that's funny. Zelana thought to herself agreeing with the narrator who dictated her actions in the role-world.

I'm sure this Neo you speak of is well and truly successful in all his endeavors. The man would tap the 'p' key, pausing his game as he turned his head to the young girl before him. His face was blank for a few seconds, as though everything she had said held no intention of registering. All at once, it sunk in, giving him a quick twitching shock as his brain was kick-started. "Oh. Yeah, she did leave some paper for you to fill out...but i lost it. So, since there is no other alternative, i shall examine you myself. Not sexually of course, that would not be acceptable." He gave a weak smile, staring at the wall behind her for a short while before quickly reaching behind his chair, grabbing a single page and placing it on the desk. "Complete that, then we shall give you a short practical test and your in."

On the paper was 5 questions:
1) What is your name?
2) What is your age?
3) What should you do to treat a small cut?
4) What should you do to treat mental damage?
5) What is your name?

The man looked slightly smug, watching the paper happily. "Made it myself. I'm pretty sure its almost word for word identical to the original, I even did it in like, 1/12th of the pages. No word count required, personally, i could pass the test with only 1 word per question, but answer it as you will."

In a far away place, in some plain grassland somewhere within the Forsaken, a young boy sneezes.

Okay...and heh..funny. Zelana said before nodding as she got the written exam the bane of her existence as she hated those things. She would go off before sitting in a chair and would pull out a pencil before writing down her answers, once she was done she would stand up and give the written test back to the man before waiting patiently for him to finish grading her or escort her to the practical exam.

The man smiled weakly as the paper was returned, giving a quick roll of his eyes before his mouth grew larger. Ugh, Marking..."" Reach down below his desk, he would begin to rummage through a few of his utensils. A short zip being heard, before he resurfaced with a red colouring in pencil. "I wonder where i pen went?" Shrugging, he returned to the page, hardly even reading, just ticking the paper roughly about 20 times before leaving it on the desk. Turning to his computer and typing a single word. 'PASS'. "Congratulatins. That was easily, wasn't it. Now, if you will..." As he spoke he stood in his chair, doing a planted leap of his desk, only to have the tip of his top clip in on the way, causing a steadily plummage to the ground, resulting in a well performed roly poly up to a stand.

His face was blank unsure of what happened, but with a quick body shake, he was back in business, turning to Zela briefly before walking down a corridor and into the first medical room. "Your job today, will be to treat this young fella here." He motioned to a man, lying atop of a plain white bed, his left arm sliced from the shoulder to the elbow and his forearm cleanly broken.

Zelana would look at the man before smiling sweetly and once he said pass she nodded and promptly waited around so she could do whatever he needed her to do, she didn't have to wait long however as soon enough he instructed her to deal with a patient. She would frown seeing the man already knowing that an injury of that kind would cost her a fair bit of chakra, thankfully mystical healing palm was a general technique rather than a first aid procedure so she could fix him up nicely, though it was the option of healing him through the technique the fast way or properly setting his arm before healing it slowly so that the break would heal naturally and thus end up stronger than before. An would stroll first to the clip board reading through to see whatever had happened to him before she even bothered to try and fix him.

One of the drawbacks of the Mystical Healing Palm technique was that chakra acted like glue, holding the injury together with more chakra sealing it up like nothing happened, it wasn't reversing time or anything like that but the healing was forced so the body didn't have the time to produce a stronger seal as it would normally. Considering the Human body was a miraculous thing and ever injury one sustained was healed in such a way that one wouldn't be able to get injured by the same amount of force again, assuming they survived the trauma without permanent damage..she figured she would mix the two.

She would walk over with a small smile running her fingers gently around the injured area checking for shattered bone but seeing as it came from a slice it would seem that it was a clean break. Which was good considering the alternative, she would shift the arm using her Painless Dislocation technique so the patient felt nothing before using her free hand to hold it in place before the wound would begin to seal up rapidly.

Done. While your arm is fully healed I would still suggest taking it easy for a couple of days to a week, just to let your body naturally adjust to the fact that your arm isn't injured anymore. Zelana said sweetly even though she was giving him a bit of a lecture.

The man would smile watching her do her miracle work, a slow clap following soon after. "Above and Beyond, you healed it completely when i was only expecting a minimal treatment, congratulations..." He walked out of the medical area and into the storeroom beside it, returning shortly after with two items. "Here you go, a general doctors scrub outfit and a name badge." He would drop the two items on the table beside her before heading towards the door. "You'll need to inscribe your own name onto the badge, but other then that, your now an employee. Congratulations again. Your jobs will include treating patients and doing whatever else you want to do. Now if you'll excuse me, i have some 'important work' to complete." Alas he was gone, back to his desk where he obviously does not belong.

Thank you for this opportunity, I promise to do my best. Zelana said with a smile taking the items from the man before nodding and using Engraving Seal to neatly write Zelana Yaju on the badge. She would head out of the door going to the locker rooms so she could change into scrubs and when she did she would walk out wearing said scrubs and the badge while looking for something to do. To be honest she was hoping to visit the pharmacy within the hospital so she could learn about the medicine and drugs they had and offer her own expertise as a scientist but treating patients directly was fun as well. She would wait around for a nurse or someone to give her something else to do but if they didn't arrive she would head out looking for the pharmacy or any of the labs.
