Walking On Graves

It was like prying something from a dead mans fingers. Sanzos had to practicly tear the scroll form his fathers well aged cold hands. It was strange, it seemed as if his father was uncertain of him this time. What was more of a surpise was hearing his fathers voice, a rare ocasion. shallow and showing his age the wisp of sound was surprising "take this and go down to the pillers...go and walk on some graves at the very back" Sanzo was not sure if he heard rite, and by the time he realized his face had been hit with the shcok of it. "GO I SAID!" his father shouted as he slammed the door in Sanzos face.

"hmph..its like he has no faith in me or something." He talked aloud to himself as he walked to the Pillars. It was a small walk in the cold, and night grew closer with each step. "Is he mad?!" he asked himself saying it to himself once more, though this time it was as if it was not just to himself. Like someone was there, watching, listening to him.

As Sanzo made his way to the graves at the back the feeling had passed. With a small sigh he relaxed into a bench in front of a few stones and began to open the scroll. As he did he took notice to its features, its parchment old, thicker, and more yellow then white. I spike was driven through its handel.

"What BLANK?!" Sanzo shouted. the scroll was empty, "But why....am I to do my task first?" He wondered.  Gentally he placed the scroll beside him on the bench and got up, he began his wlak over to the graves.
It was not a split second after his foot touched the first one "Mrs.Beto" that he caught a glimps of blue light in the corner of his eye. Shocked, or more startled he didnt know, now confused for there was nothing there. "Did I see something?" he wondered to himself. he continued to walk on top and would do so for a couple more steps here and there, every now and then he found himself catching that blue light in the corner of his eye.
It was not till about ten minutes after he started that he was paying enough attention to realize that he was actually seeing something...and hearing something.

"Clack....clack..............clack..." a sound behind him... "its...following...my...steps.." he said to himself as he walked in slow paces, slowly and scared out of his wits he turned around, his eyebrows twitched with anxiety... "Nothing..." And again he would see the light. Was he going mad? No! for atlast he realized that something, something very strange was going on...the scroll that he had held and unfolded, lay rolled up and sideways on the bench. Slowly he walked over to it, "Click clack click clack" the steps followed him until his feet were off the grave, the light here and there. Hesitently he picked up the scroll which seemed to almost unroll itself...and there on its page lay pictures. One of a ball of blue light. the Kanji under it "Wisp" Another of a small imp with a different looking shadow it to with a Kanji "Betobeto and Yama Biko"

The last one...a picture of the scroll he held in his hand which was drawn with a puff of smoke beside it and a shadow in the smoke. As if having known he was seeing that picture it all became his reality.

"POOF!" a cloud of smoke emerged and as Sanzo coughed he could see something behind it. When it cleared there stood before him an imp, on a blue ball of light, its shadow moving on its own with a different appearance. The scroll lay open once again where he had originally left it, the only thing now left on it were words clearly ment for him "Nice to meet you Sanzo!"
