| Signature Base Techniques:- Spoiler:
Name: Steel Release: Liquid Steel Creation Rank: C-S Classification: Ninjutsu Range: C (10m radius) | Increases by 10 for every increase in rank | Class: Supplementary Description: This technique is simply the name given to the process of creating liquid steel to then be either hardened or used simply as a liquid compound. The user gathers iron and an alloy material from the earth around them by slamming their palms into the ground before bringing it out in its liquid form and therefore use it in their techniques, meaning the liquid is not only extremely pliable as all liquids are but also hot enough to burn through skin and cause immense damage. The liquid steel is produced from the ground in much the same way as a Doton technique would be, bursting forth from the earth in a radius determined by the technique's rank. However, if it is cooled, it locks itself into a solid steel state, in which it takes a little longer for the user to reform it back to a liquid, usually around 1 turn. This can act as a weakness or strength in some cases.
• - C-rank, the user is growing in proficiency with the Kōton and can therefore bring up steel, liquefy it and use it in the same turn, though it still takes them several seconds to do so, leaving them wide open for attack. Techniques are limited to C-rank Kōton and below. • - B-rank, the user is now moderately capable with the Kōton and can bring up, liquefy and use the steel in a matter of mere seconds, reducing the opening an attacker has to strike. Techniques are limited to B-rank Kōton and below. • - A-rank, the user is now very capable with the Kōton and can bring up, liquefy and use the steel with almost no delay at all, meaning there is little to no opening to strike when they are preparing. Techniques are limited to A-rank Kōton and below. • - S-rank, the user is now a legend in the use of the Kōton, able to now only bring up, liquefy and use the steel from the earth in almost no time, they are now capable of using two techniques at the same time, using only one hand to bring up a volume of steel, leaving the other hand to do much of the same thing. There is no limit to the rank of the technique the user is able to use.
Name: Steel Release: Solid Steel Creation Rank: C-S Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Equal to range of first tech Class: Supplementary Description: Again, simply the name given to the solidification of liquefied steel produced from the earth via the use of Kōton: Ekikōsettei, the user will use magnetic chakra to force the molecules of the steel together into a solid structure, as if folding the steel in a forge. This can be done at a moment's notice and the number of hand seals it requires to solidify is dependent on the user’s ability in using the Kōton: Ekikōsettei;
• - C-rank | 3 Hand-seals • - B-rank | 1 Hand-seal • - A-rank | No hand-seals • - S-rank | No hand-seals
This technique can be used on steel which is being kept underground or on already exposed steel; this technique is required for many Kōton techniques.
Name: Steel Release: Alloy Conversion Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Range of Kōton: Ekikōsettei Class: Supplementary Description: Steel itself is made of the alloy of iron and carbon traditionally, however this carbon can be replaced with many other alloying materials to produce different effects. Before the steel is converted to liquid form using the Kōton: Ekikōsettei, the user will replace the active carbon with one of this list to produce a different effect from that steel.
• - Manganese | Used to increase the tensile strength of the steel if the manganese content is over 8%, therefore allowing the steel to block techniques one rank higher than they originally could. It also changes the color of the steel to a slight pink hue. • - Chromium | Used as a counter to more powerful Magnet Release than Caelus’s own, Chromium is considered anti-ferromagnetic at and below body temperature and therefore exudes no magnetic consistency. However, if it is heated above 38 degrees Celsius, it reverts to a paramagnetic state and therefore become susceptible to magnetic fields. • - Tungsten | Tungsten has two uses. Its first and most likely strongest use is it's ability to defend against Katon techniques, due to it's extremely high melting point, higher than any other metal in existence. Its second use is to increase the density and therefore sharpness and power of offensive Kōton techniques, which can be used in the creation of weapons to create the same constant effect on the weapon. Liquid Steel Techniques:- Spoiler:
Name: Steel Release: Whip Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: A very simple technique in retrospect, the user let's loose a tendril of white-hot liquid steel, striking out at the target. This can cause severe burns on whatever was hit and sometimes cause something to be set on fire. If the user is skilled enough, this can also be used to wrap around the body or one of the limbs of the target, again causing very serious burns and immense pain, as well as keeping them pinned in one place. Unlike a regular whip, due to the fact that this tendril contains the user's magnetic chakra, it can therefore be controlled to change directions quickly at the user's command.
Name: Steel Release: Molten Ball Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Offensive Description: Similar to the famous Katon: Endan technique, the user spits molten globs of steel from their mouth after performing the required hand seals, meaning anything struck with said globs has an effect similar to napalm, setting fire to whatever it touches and causing very serious liquid burns to its target. Tech moves at Bullet release speed.
Name: Steel Release: Waterjetting Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Offensive Description: Again, a very simple technique, the user fires a small yet powerful and concentrated stream of extremely high temperature liquid steel from the ground in front of the user, covering the target in burning napalm-like liquid. Tech moves at Bullet Release speed.
Name: Steel Release: Iron Mist Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: The user creates a pool of high temperature liquid steel before heating it even further, causing it to evaporate into the air like a red mist. Anyone who breathes this mist in will begin to cough violently as the lungs attempt to get rid of the iron, which also leaves a metallic taste in the target's mouth. If the target does not escape to clean air within 5 turns, they will begin to feel chest pains and start coughing up blood as well as the iron, meaning they will be forced to vacate the area, lest they choke on their own blood mixed with the iron and die, which would take a total of 10 turns. This technique is usually only used to conceal the user's movements in the musky red haze. To keep the mist up, a constant chakra stream is required, a C-rank cost per post.
Name: Steel Release: Scorching Skin Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Self Class: Defensive Description: By gathering liquid steel onto their skin, the user can effectively create a layer of white-hot steel over their skin, burning all those that come into contact with it as if they were affected by napalm. While the user is protected from the burning themselves by placing a tiny layer of hot air between the surface of the skin and the steel, after seven turns, they will begin to feel their skin burning as if they were touching the steel, which means they will have no choice but to get rid of the steel or risk seriously injuring themselves.
Name: Steel Release: Liquid Steel Clone Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Supplementary Description: Kōton: Ekikō Bunshin is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes liquid steel to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Ekikō Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited to 15m however; it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Ekikō Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural liquid steel state, burning any in contact with it. This clone cannot use Ninjutsu. Clones move at Blinding Light speeds like Caelus.
Name: Steel Release: Bursting Steel Collision Waves Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: A very powerful yet highly dangerous Kōton technique, the user will exude a very large volume of high temperature liquid steel from the earth in front of them, forming it into a huge wave which crashes down on targets, reducing them to naught but ash unless they can clear the way. This has also been known to set the surrounding area alight due to the heat. The physical requirements of this technique usually leaves the user fatigued, therefore it is not recommended for more than four uses per thread, plus due to the steel's weight, even in liquid form it is very slow in comparison to water. Tech moves at Crashing Ground Speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Encampment Wall Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Short Class: Defensive Description: A large amount of flowing liquid steel rises from the earth quickly to defend the user from the front, burning all that touches it. Due to the flowing nature of this technique, if it is cooled by a Suiton technique, it will revert to chunks of loose steel which crumble and fall apart, meaning Suiton is this technique's weakness.
Name: Steel Release: Forced Death Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Offensive Description: The user creates two tendrils of liquid steel beneath the target's feet, which crawl slowly twisting around their legs to bind them in place before slowly expanding to cover the target's torso, then neck, then mouth. The steel then proceeds to enter the target's esophagus and into their lungs, suffocating them and placing them in an extreme pain. This technique takes three turns to kill the target, however again Suiton is it's weakness, causing the binding to crumble and fall away. Tendrils move at vacuum release speeds. Solid Steel Techniques:- Spoiler:
Name: Steel Release: Shuriken Cannon Rank: D Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: The user releases a jet of liquid steel into the air from the ground, solidifying the falling steel into the shape of basic shuriken, striking the user with over twenty steel shuriken from above. The shurikens fall to the ground at bullet release speeds. This is, however, very easy to avoid as it only covers a small area, easily escaped by moving out of the way.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Shore Return Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user creates a wall of solid steel below the earth before forcing it to quickly rise in front of them, guarding from frontal attacks with great defensive capabilities. Unlike its Doton counterpart, this technique is not easily taken down my drilling or piercing strikes, rather it is its foundations which are its downfall. It usually has little to no footing in the earth and will topple with a strong enough physical strike, usually one with enough power to shatter the Doton version of this technique. Of course, there is the obvious weakness of only protecting the user's front, leaving their back, sides and even the space above them available for attack. Blocks techniques equal to or lower than the rank of this technique.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Rising Pillars Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Short Class: Offensive Description: This technique lets the user condense steel, from the ground, and shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density. However, unlike its Doton counterpart, this technique also has other uses to Caelus. He can use this technique to create pillars of solid steels to support structures, similar to how Mokuton users create wooden pillars, only much denser and stronger, though much slower. Pillars move at Crashing Ground speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Shuriken Wild Dance Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: The user surrounds themselves in a swirl of liquid steel which rises in a tornado-like formation, before solidifying some of the steel into shuriken and launching them outward at great speed equaling that of Bullet Release speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Twin-layered Steel Shore Return Rank: C Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description:An improvement to either the Kōton: Kōroku Gaeshi or the Kōton: Daikōroku Gaeshi, the user will create another layer of thick steel over the first, effectively creating another wall in front of the first one, covering over any damage the initial one may have taken. Using this technique on an active Kōton: Kōroku Gaeshi or Kōton: Daikōroku Gaeshi, will increase its rank resistance by one stage. Only one extra layer may be put on a wall, you may not put two on a single wall; otherwise the steel becomes far too pressured and falls over sideways.
Name: Steel Release: Great Steel Shore Return Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: A much stronger version of the Kōton: Kōroku Gaeshi, after striking the ground with their hands, the user creates a wall of solid steel below the earth before forcing it to quickly rise in front of them, guarding from frontal attacks with great defensive capabilities. Unlike it's parent technique, this technique improves on the foundation of the steel, using liquid steel as a primitive form of welding, forcing it to stick to whatever surface it is created upon and therefore make it stronger, as well as increasing the thickness and therefore mass of the wall, making it harder to break. Of course, there is the obvious weakness of only protecting the user's front, leaving their back, sides and even the space above them available for attack. Blocks techniques equal to or below it in rank.
Name: Steel Release: Four-Pillar House Technique Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Supplementary Description: Using steel to great the foundations, walls and materials, the user will create a large house to use as a camp site while out and about. This technique is based around the designs for the Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu, in which the user's imagination and memories dictate the size, shape and overall appearance of the house. Due to its solid steel structure, it is extremely difficult to destroy except by repeated hits from techniques higher in rank than this technique.
Name: Steel Release: Four-Pillar Prison Technique Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: The user converts chakra into steel pillars under the ground and makes it shoot rapidly from the earth, while forming them into a steel prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates. This technique is based around the Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Locking Wall Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to create steel pillars in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes steel pillars appear from left and right. The steel pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the centre. This process can be used to catch the enemy in a double sided attack. Also, in case one confronts the enemy at a short distance, the enemy can be locked up inside the dome, setting the situation for a one-on-one fight. Furthermore, it functions as an easy shelter against the enemy's long-distance attacks, like shuriken and kunai, resisting techniques equal to or lower than its own rank.
Name: Steel Release: Solid Steel Clone Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Supplementary Description: Similar to the Kōton: Ekikō Bunshin, the user creates a clone made of solid steel, rather than liquid steel, which can resist techniques on a much higher level than other clone techniques, withstanding damage equal to or lower than it's rank. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Ankokō Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. However, clones made from this technique generally do not hold the user's appearance very well, their features becoming very angular and their eyes a glazed white colour, making them actually rather creepy. These clones cannot use Ninjutsu. Clones move at Crashing Grounds speeds due to being much heavier. It is also immune to lightning techs.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Bamboo Fence Prison Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: The user creates many thin but strong pillars of steel below the target before forcing them to rise quickly, surrounding the target similar to a bamboo thicket of steel, which holds them in place. Due to their thin mass, they can be destroyed rather easily, by C-rank strength or techniques but it's their speed that makes them powerful and the fact that it prevents the target from performing hand seals by locking their hands away from each other. Bamboo moves at Crashing Ground speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Steel Rapid Growth Thorns Rank: B Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Offenisve Description: An advanced version of the Kōton: Kōryūsō, the user creates growing thorn-like steel branches that they can manipulate to continuously grow towards their target, either impaling them with the sharp spear-like edges or wrapping around them to hold them in place. This technique is based around manipulating molten steel from the ground and solidifying it as it comes through the earth. Thorns move at crashing ground speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Great Forest Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Range of Kōton: Ekikōsettei Class: Supplementary Description: While this technique does not directly harm the target, it is strategically useful for causing confusion or restricting the movements of the targets. Using the range of their Kōton: Ekikōsettei, the user creates a great forest of angular trees, twisted and cold with no leaves. Due to the close proximity of the trees, those who are not familiar with the layout of the trees will find it difficult to traverse and the only one who knows the entirety of the forest's layout is that one that created it. The trees exit from the earth in such a way that they do not disturb anything already there, for example already existing trees, in which case the steel trees will twist around and grow in the gaps, while adhering to the original design as much as possible.
Another use for this technique is to surround the area with steel which is able to be manipulated by the original user of the technique, meaning they are able to use techniques to attack from all angles, as long as there is a steel tree in the vicinity.
Name: Steel Release: Great Citadel Rank: S Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: A very strategic yet powerful defensive technique of Caelu’s own design, the user will essentially create an entire fortress from their Kōton steel. Based around the use of the Kōton: Shichūka no Jutsu, the user will build a huge three-tiered japanese style fortress, using thick steel pillars with 40% carbon content as the foundations, which means it is virtually impossible to make it lose it's structure and it is very insulated against Raiton techniques. This technique is used mostly as a way to set up defensive positions in a certain area, capable of housing an entire battalion of shinobi.
Name: Steel Release: Great Castle Walls Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: By first creating the Kōton: Ōjousai, the user creates an extremely thick defensive wall all around the fortress, reminiscent in design to traditional castle walls, capable of defending against most attacks very effectively, however due to the structure of the wall, having used steel bricks, it is susceptible to drilling and hard piercing attacks. However, it does seem to defend against explosions rather well. The wall itself is thick enough at the ramparts to allow three shinobi to stand side-by-side, meaning it is very usable in active battle.
Name: Steel Release: Iron Dragon’s Roar Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Long Class: Offensive Description: After gathering chakra into his mouth, Caelus shapes it into a powerful tornado which he subsequently emits and sends towards his foes. Such tornado possesses immense force, being capable of generating powerful explosions and inflicting heavy blunt damage, but also releases sharp shards of metal in the process, to shred the opponents' body. The tornado moves at Vacuum Release speeds.
Name: Steel Release: Iron Dragon’s Scales Rank: A Classification: Ninjutsu Range: Mid Class: Defensive Description: Caelus covers part of his body (or the entirety of it) with steel scales to dramatically increase his offense and defense. When punching and kicking while covered by these scales, Caelus is capable of creating powerful gusts of wind through mere kinetic force. These scales are strong enough to shatter bone and rock alike, resilient against regular flames up to its rank. The scales also augment Caelus's own impressive strength giving him S-rank strength while the technique is active. If its a S-rank it should be able to take a S-rank no problem with the next one breaking it, 2 A-ranks no problem with the next one breaking it, 6 B-ranks no probs with the next one breaking it, and just tank out C and D-ranks no problem.
