Africa eyes gradually opened, the bright white light forcing her to cover her face. Slowly she lifed her head up from the ground, to see two medical nin rushing to her to deal with her soreness and fatigue. "You failed again" The matatabi mocked her rubbing her back against the metal bars in the cage, before balling herself back into a ball. Africa didn't quite know the details however the instructors explained it as getting her used to the chakra beast inside, not that it was something that she really cared about. Rather she wanted to go explore, learn new things and meet new people but at times she could tell if it was actually her or the dna of the matatabi they called it running through her veins, whatever the fuck that meant.
"Can i go now?" she questioned as the two medical nin had finish assorting her injuries, Both glanced at each other before looking back at the girl "You'll have to ask the head assistant principal when he comes" the taller slimmer one on her left spoke up while the other, made his way to the door. "For now try again, and we'll ask him when he comes." she continued before leaving out of the room, and closing the door behind her.
Once again, she slowly stood to her feet preparing her stance. One hand slightly in front of the other, her feet were squared with her chin. Slowly she searched the room with her eyes, out the corner she saw one dagger coming at her however she saw this trick once too many times before. Easily she leaped to her left then turned her focus to the direction the daggers originally came from, she squinted her eyes focusing on that location. "Wait... did that hit the wall!" she thought looking back over her shoulder, to her surprise the two shuriken were heading back towards her without hitting the wall or making a sound, both seemed to be heading for her eyes. Quickly she threw up both her arms in front of her face, however both the shuriken moved around to her and hit her in the back. Yet there was a third force that hit her in the stomach which took her down to her knees, it was followed by another force that hit her against the head, slamming her into the wall, Slowly everything around her began to go black.
Her head flew up from the grasp of the pillow, the glares of street lights peeked into he window. The echoing sound of laughter and with the defined sound of a toss being made were heard from behind her room door. Slowly she turned to the door, once she arrived would gently open the door to peek, to see both of her parents sitting in the couch watching the news of the sacrifices being made in the other villages. "Mom... Dadd..." The only words that were able to escape her tiny lips before rushing to them and hugging, however she couldn't get over his recurring figure of deja vu. "With each of these attacks happening in four out of five villages, we can only assume that Mahoa will be next? Is this the work of gods or is there someone at work behind the scenes?" The last and final words were interrupted by the screams of the building nearby collapsing.
