Spec Training

It had been almost a year since Zero had become an Apprentice Knight for Pandora. It wasn't the nice place, could arguably be the scariest nation in the world. However, Zero had managed to find purpose here. After being kicked out of his clan for being a failure, Zero had joined the Knights and through Carmen and Xan and Tumu, Zero had found power and purpose. He was no longer a failure, he could fight and he even had an ability. He knew he wanted to serve Carmen for the rest of his life.

But what adverse effects would that have on his immortality? Through worshipping Jashin he and his former clan possessed the power of Immortality, but Carmen was also a goddess now. If he followed her, prayed to her rather than Jashin, what would happen? Would it be possible to pray to both or just one? Maybe he should go to the origin temple for the Deities. But he was not allowed to leave the land of Ash as he was now. Once he managed to work his way up in rank he would be able to visit the Temple of the Shinigami and find his answers.

Zero would begin the day with his daily routine as he thought this over. He'd take laps around the village, avoiding the main streets where all the scary people were, taking long routes through multiple alleyways or over rooftops. The part of his run he liked the most though came from a very hot place. Every day he would run by the volcanic areas and admire the beauty of the molten magma, however upon becoming the Mummy he had been too afraid that he would burn up if he went there.

Zero's Solo Training Empty

Training day in and day out in order to become the ultimate soldier for Carmen. He was no longer a puny child with no skill. Through a little help in being pushed by his various elder knights, Zero had managed to grow stronger. And with the strength he gained through that and his continuous training he had managed to grow a little more courageous each time. Walking down the streets of Pandora no longer brought him weak knees. Seeing the monsters and death around the village no longer brought him to tears. He was growing into a man, though he wasn't there just yet. He still had a long way to go but his stuttering and fear to fight were gone or close to it. This would be his last training as that of an Apprentice. Zero would prove himself this day and become a Bronze Knight, one step closer to joining the true Pandoran Knights. Once he reached the rank of Silver Knight he would be able to meet the eyes of Xan Ibwa and Tumu. He would be able to personally meet Carmen as one of her loyal knights. Something he had always dreamed about. But what knight would he be?

Would Zero join the ICHT order and become a Green Heron? He could do well in counter assault, as his ability allowed him to become the elements used against him and he would be able to easily defend others while fighting, copying their move sets and reading their attacks. But that didn't feel like him. When he trained and fought he had the overwhelming feeling of just taking everything bad that has happened to him and throwing it all at his opponent. No, Green Heron and the ICHT order was not for him. That left only one other. The Blue Hummingbird.

Yes, the HUIT order under the Blue Hummingbird would probably be best. He was definitely, undeniably the assault type. He liked to overwhelm opponents and keep them off their feet. He didn't like to give them any room for attacking. He wanted to do all the attacking, force them into a corner and continue to attack. For if he stopped he feared his fright may return. Often he liked to imagine his opponents were his cruel family that always called him useless, a coward, who abandoned him and left him to die on the streets. But now, now he had more power than some of his own family. He could do things they couldn't, a lot of it was thanks to not being born normal. Being born unable to utilize his chakra. His imperfection now allowed him true power. But was it really imperfection? Or was it a gift from the gods?

Whatever it was, Zero was now thankful for it. He planned to utilize it to full affect and surpass his colleagues. He would become the devastating force that crushed all who threaten Carmen. He would even become the dog she sicked on her enemies. For under her rule he found purpose. Zero was no longer a child, today he became a warrior.

Today Zero was going to push his body to the limits. He was a freaking mummy now, which still disturbed him a little bit. Though he was getting slowly used to it even if he was unsure of what to do with it. It was strange being dead and immortal now. He could even control his body even if it was separated from him, which really, really freaked him out. At least if anyone ever got past his defensive tiers he could still survive and fight on, maybe even fake his death. Honestly, though it was scary being a mummy wasn't all that bad. At least he no longer had to worry about dying if he ever fucked up in a fight or training. Even the Body Control Supplement would work well with his Life Release transformation, as he could break apart and come back together. He really needed to form some techniques to combine his ability with his Curse and Taijutsu. Then he would probably become a Knight worthy of Xan's respect. However, he still had a long way to go. He was ready to become a Bronze Knight but still needed a Silver Knight or higher to become his mentor. However, with the influx of Knights almost all the mentors had their hands full. It was seriously depressing being the only Knight with no mentor.

Ugh, it was such an annoyance that he needed to find a mentor fast. Today though Zero would be out training his new techniques that he was developing out in the training field of Jugogakure. The first of which was Kouhou, a technique that would allow him to slip around into his opponents blind spot and strike from there. It may not seem like much of a useful technique, but if he could perfect the technique almost no type of sensory would be able to follow his quick movements and he'd be able to strike the opponent unaware. With it then maybe even Xan would have a hard time, but still, it also depended on how fast he could move if he could even pull it off. It was difficult but he could try to find some way to pull it off even against people who could see it coming. He would have to think more on it later, as maybe his sensei could help him with it. After training Kouhou the next step would be to train his Pressure Step Reflex which would utilize his strength and speed to create a vacuum of pressure whenever he kicked so as to allow him moderate air travel, in order to reach flying targets or even utilize it on water. It was a taxing technique though but in the end it would be worth it. Especially since it could be used offensively.

After all that he would then need to train against incoming projectiles in order to dodge them. It would take a lot of pain but the better he got at it the more projectiles he could read and evade. Then there was his Gatling Punch, which would allow him to do more than one strike in a single punch by wasting little to no movement between punches. It was another taxing attack but it was also worth it as a good finisher, delivering multiple amounts of damage before finishing it with an uppercut. And finally he would need to train his Seismic Toss which would go hand in hand with Gatling Punch in order to deliver a blow similar to the Lotus techniques. With all this he should be worthy of Xan's time or at least some mentors time.
