|  It was the middle of the night, the moon full in the sky and the peaceful Kohaigakure had wound down from yet another day after the Chunin Exams. It had been about a month after the exams and despite the raging sandstorm it was just another night within the village. Until it wasn't, a shrill sound muffled by the sandstorm which had been raging would ring out and just like that a chunk of the Refinement Zone was shredded by wind. Just like that alarms would blare out as laughing could be heard from outside the village walls as the Ichibi revealed itself it's form emerging from the sand to the south of the hidden village's wall. It possessed a macabre smile as it's eyes scanned the village drinking in the despair from the ningen which had been caught unaware. Truly their isolationism hadn't done them any wonders as the quality of shinobi had fallen in the years that passed, or had it? Either way with another laugh his tail would dart out striking at a corner of the Commodity Zone with the ground turning into quicksand with the various buildings beginning to rumble as they proceeded to, ever so gradually, sink into the ground. At this time the shock from the first attack had worn off and the screaming would start, with the various shinobi mobilizing to try and do something about the threat that had just appeared. Some of them would leap at the Bijuu yet with a twirl of it's fingers would find themselves encased by the whirling sand flying through the air before a squeeze later and blood would fountain out of their bodies only to provoke more laughter from the walking natural disaster. The smell of deaths filling the air as their blood would quickly be sucked up by the raging sandstorm. It was then movement would come from the Kage Mansion with the Itamikage followed by a group of shinobi including his Guard Platoon. He would quickly begin barking out orders while tens of thousands of insects would flood out of her robes before surging towards the Bijuu. "You will not destroy my village, I do not know why you've come here but know that you have chosen death!" the Itamikage roared out as Shukaku merely continued laughing at the incoming attack. - Shukaku:

Description: Shukaku inhales air over a period of time (2 Posts Total) before releasing a sphere, 10 feet in diameter, of condensed chakra which flies at Ripping Discord speeds to impact an opponent dealing SS-rank ambient chakra damage upon contact before exploding dealing SS-rank wind release damage over a 280ft blast radius. This technique is capable of flying 420 ft before dispersing and often when used on fleeing opponents if they are within the same location even in a different topic it can occasionally detonate causing destruction felt even that far away. Shukaku can release this technique in a second way by eating the sphere before releasing a 20 foot wide beam which extends up to 840 feet away dealing S-rank Wind Release chakra based damage each post (total) while costing a constant drain to his's chakra reserves each of his's posts equal to it's original cost.

Description: Shukaku is a living breathing entity of chakra like his brethren however he is able to take a more sand like approach allowing him to utilize the sand he creates and manipulates in battle to augment his size, increase his reach and harden his body from outside attacks. When sliced instead of blood sand pours out of his wounds as his body is comprised of it making him a living walking desert. When sliced or damaged by physical techniques he can use the sand to fill the wounds and repair the damage. It takes 1 post to repair from B-rank and below physical attacks, it takes 2 posts (total) to repair from A-rank physical attacks, it takes 4 posts (total) to repair from S-rank physical attacks, it takes 8 posts (total) to repair from SS-rank physical attacks and finally it takes 16 posts (total) to repair from SSS-rank physical attacks.

Description: Shukaku's sand is not just comprised of ground up earth, in fact silica only comprises 60 percent of Shukaku's sand the remaining 40 percent is Calcium pure ground up bones of the countless lives Shukaku has claimed over the past millennia. Once freed it went on a rampage and has grown stronger because of it. When Shukaku buries victims they are ground into sand and they become part of his desert. Due to this Shukaku's is able to siphon water sources, utilizing his sand which has the adverse result of slowing it (the sand) down for a time depending on the rank of the sand technique used and the amount of water siphoned. If the rank of the Sand technique is higher than the water siphoned it is slowed by 1-rank, if the sand technique is equal in rank it is slowed by 2-rank, if the Sand technique is lower it is slowed by 3-ranks. Shukaku's sand however doesn't remain sluggish for too long however and eventually dries out with D-C rank water taking 2 posts (total) before the sand dries out, B-A taking 4 posts (total) to dry out, S taking 8 posts (total) to dry out, SS-rank taking 16 posts (total) to dry out and SSS-rank taking 32 posts (total) to dry out. Those with a sensitive sense of smell literally gag on the overpowering stench of death and blood which fills his sand. In addition due to being comprised of a mixture of Calcium and Silica Shukaku's sand release techniques can be used in sync with his life release techniques by simply organizing the Calcium back into bones through chakra.

Description: Shukaku lunges out with his tail striking the ground causing it to ripple a bit before turning into quicksand with a depth of 105 feet while spreading over a 420ft (radius). Victims who step on it who do not have an Earth Release movement technique specializing on moving through quicksand, can't swim through sand naturally or have a technique allowing them to do so or have not gathered chakra to the soles of their feet a post (total) previously will sink below. Victims Bijuu size and above however simply trip if they are moving above Crashing Ground speeds and do not have a balancing technique B-rank or above thus throwing off any action in their post which requires precision (like aiming an attack). This technique requires a B-rank amount of strength to pull oneself out of the sand however depending on the size of the victim they will sink into the sand at varying speeds. Upon sinking into it completely every additional 20 feet requires 1-rank higher strength to swim out of it with victims suffocating if they require air to breathe or do not have underground breathing techniques B-rank or above (or can do so naturally).

Description: Shukaku makes a twirling motion with one of his fingers resulting in any opponent(s) who have been encased, surrounded, are currently standing in, are buried underneath or are being blanketed by sand to have said sand spiral around them at crashing ground speeds, before tightening immobilizing them. Those without B-rank Reaction or B-rank Tremor sense (if encased as a result of sand covering the ground) are unable to react to this technique until it has already begun encasing them with the portions of their body encased dependent on their rank. Furthermore depending on the size of the victim it requires variable amounts of strength tiers to break free likewise depending on the technique used to facilitate this technique, numerous victims can be trapped within for a single B-rank price. This technique can likewise be activated while within a Sandstorm with the number of targets depending on their size,

Description: Shukaku makes a squeezing motion with his hand resulting in victims who are already immobilized by the sand surrounding them to be squished at Vacuum release speeds with variable amounts of force depending on the size of the target. This is an extremely deadly technique as despite being a ninjutsu the victim is dealt physical damage, due it's use of sand materia, their body often being liquified with blood spurting out of the sand like vapor. Shukaku can likewise squeeze deliberately slow drawing out the death of the opponent over time (posts total) in order to prolong their agony. This has the dual use of being used to gradually overburden and crush those with defense tiers high enough to resist the quick squeezing motion as the repeated squeezing results in constant fatigue loss each post (total) equal to the defense tier being used to resist being crushed, with victims who run out of fatigue being squished as if they didn't have any defenses.
