The Gossip(pt.1): We all know da shit about Zena and Zeke ,right?

A news article is at the door of Mahougakure.Just a typical day in the land of wonder and magic. Just like everyday the sun rises, the birds chirp , and the children play. But today may have been a bit better than your typical Monday morning in Mahougakure. Today the hot gossip is out and about! Everyone and i mean EVVVERRRRYYYOONNNE is talking about it. This is pure craziness how could a village so noble in its upbringing , bring forth such individuals of this caliber.  Ok, so don't tell anyone that i told you this but rumor has it that, Zeke and Zena both had to *bird poop stain ruined a word in the gossip section* their sensei for a spot on *more bird poop ruining the paper*. Worst part about it.. Their teammate , Shinji witnessed and documented the WHOLE THING! If I were the kage, i would have these two completely removed from the roster. If not the whole damn village , these  damn *more poop*. " Towards the end of the article there's this fine picture of the author:

Yea, that photo is not fake at all. But regardless if these rumors and accusations are false, someone should do something about it. Who knows what can be done, but here's a clue for them, the address on the news article reads. 5560 NW 176th street, Mage drive. Unfortunately the owner likes to keep a civil working environment and doesn't like to be visited by shinobi.  Hey go figure, at least you tried, right?

Rules:

Zena made her way through the market place,  she was pretty low on food in her dorm and had to pick some up. Usually she would have Zeke do it for her so she could avoid going out but he was tired from training the day before and she wanted to let him rest. Zena let out a groan as she turned a corner onto the busiest street in the area. There were tons of people out today, she was starting to regret not bugging Zeke after all. As she passed by a group of what looked like shinobi sitting down and relaxing she couldn't help but notice them giving her a really weird look. However she didn't think too much of it at first and went on with her shopping. She got her essentials and made her way towards the dorms, carrying a big bag over her shoulder. On her way she glanced and noticed an older shinobi reading a newspaper, he looked up and gave her the same look the group prior had given her. What the hell? Was their something on her face or what?

Walking up the final street before the dorms something struck Zena in the face and she couldn't see, dropping her bag and falling backwards onto her bum. She pulled it off of her face to find that it was a newspaper that had blown in the wind and hit her. "Awesome... why do such unlucky things happen to me." she thought to herself. Zena damn near threw the newspaper away before something caught her eye. It was her name! On a newspaper, but not just her name, Zeke's too. She looked over it quickly and gripped it tightly in a clenched fist. Zena was so pissed of that she left her bag of groceries laying on the ground and stormed off to Zeke's dorm and would pound on the door harder than ever before. "Look at this shit." she would say once he answered the door, thrusting the newspaper forward towards him.

As Zena bangs on Zeke's door like a mad woman one of his neighbors would wake up. " ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! IM COMING , SHIT! people are soo impatient." Some skinny man with a news paper in hand came out searching for the person knocking on his door. Thats when he'd realize that no one was knocking on his door, that it was just zena knocking too damn hard. Wait... it was Zena! He'd quickly look down then shuffle through the papers trying to reference the article he just read. " Hey! hey.. u...You're Zena aren't you?...Fuck Yea you are! Oh my good, is it .. you know. Is it true?" Before she could even answer he'd smack himself on the forehead then say, " Well of course its true! just look at you. And they wouldnt print it in the papers if it wasn't." He'd start blushing, " I don't think Zeke is here, but.. u can come on in here. I know its just breakfast but ..I can find something for you to do...." His face turns red at the possibilities of Breakfast time fun.

LovaBoy:

Zeke was still sleeping in, he went to hard during his training and it wiped him out. Sleep was truly a peaceful thing and then, “BAM BAM BAM!” Someone was knocking at his door. Zeke was normally an early bird and the one time he chose to sleep in, THE ONE TIME! He let out a sigh shuffled out of bed and put some presentable clothes on. ”Hold your horses I’m coming!” He already realized it was Zena by how she was knocking so frequently. It was probably some good news about a successful jutsu or something.

Zeke opened his door and saw both Zena and that creepy dude who looks to old to still be in the academy was out in his morning attire. He cocked an eyebrow and looked peeved. Zeke had the newspaper shoved in his face before he could say anything. ”What the?” Zeke read the dirty paper and the more he read the harder the vein on his temple pulsates with fury. He looked over at his ‘dorm mate’ and he threw a shuriken at the wood of his door. ”They do know you’re my sister right? What is this contrived nonsense! And you! Go back into your room before I get really mad!” he went on to say as his voice rose to a yell as who the hell could’ve made this! This trite! What is going on here?!

After seeing that mornings events and having spotted Zena around the dorm heading inside, Shinji was sure it was all false, and was a bit pissed but there was nothing he could do about it. Instead he followed Zena behind corners and listened in on some other guy speaking. What he said was really disgusting, so much so that without showing himself, Shinji went out the nearest window and went around to the other guy's room window where he would silently make his way inside using the wall walking method. While all were distracted he set a paper bomb on the guys fridge, sink, bed and couch before making his way out and back to the front door where he would make the release seals to set off all four paper bombs, setting off a mini explosion in the guys room while they were all going at it. He would then use the transformation jutsu to make himself into one of the bushes near the door.

The lover boy freaked out at the sight of Zeke. He looked soo intense, which only made the idea more sickening when he'd reveal to the lover boy that he and hot Zena were in fact siblings. To Lover Boy Charles, this was just terrible to imagine someone with such an intense look using that same intense look on his own sister in bed. Charles was getting sick to his stomach but before he could even express his disgust Zeke threw a wooden shuriken at his door that completely startled him. " Aw shit fella! No need for...AHHHHHH!" A few explosions would go off from within his room. Charles' sink, fridge, and other pieces of furniture exploded around the same moment that the shuriken hit the door. Was this the power of Zeke's KKG? Unbelievable, charles has heard of ninjas with special powers and stuff pertaining to the use of chakra but he always believed it to be some form of sleight of hand tactic. But after his furniture decided to just blow up like that he couldn't deny the power on display. He'd fall to his knees and bow to Zeke and sexy Zena. " OH DEAR PLEAAAASSSEEE! Dont hurt me, its not my fault that i am weak. Zena has the body of a God Beast and the ass of a Bijuu! How could i deny her beauty, you should know what i mean Zeke. Please dont be mad at me its all here in the papers. I would've never put your business out there, if anything its your friend Shinji's fault. I think he must've told a reporter of what's going on with you two." Clearly Charles had no idea that Shinji was around, but he'd show Zeke the paper in his hand as proof. " If you want justice you should start by going to the news station. The address is on the paper. "

As Zena knocked on Zeke's door, a nearby door opened up and out walked this creepy looking fucker. He said some pretty foul things to her, some of which she didn't even understand but in context she knew was gross. She had heard stories of men like him, perverts that rarely leave their rooms, and spend their days in darkness looking at unspeakable magazines and reading disgusting literature. So this is what they look like. Once Zeke opened up she mad sure he saw the newspaper, but the creeper pervert kept saying even more disgusting stuff. Her face became flushed with red when she realized Zeke was hearing all the same things she was. She couldn't even look at him and stepped menacingly towards the pervert, her arm transforming into the 6 foot blade she was known for. "D-don't say another word you p-p-piece of s-shit." she stuttered, her face cast downwards trying to hide her shame as she brought her blade back like a batter at a ballgame about to hit a home run. Just then a giant explosion went off in the mans house. So much was going on Zena couldn't even compute what was happening, all her mind was numbed by her embarrassed rage. As the man fell to his knees and begged she came to her senses a bit. He was right, it wasn't his fault, this all started with the article writer. She would save her rage for whoever that was. Zena turned to Zeke with her sword arm returning to normal. "Lets g-" she stopped short when their eyes met and her already red face turned into a literal tomato. She blasted off at bullet release speeds towards the address on the paper, completely unable to face Zeke.

Oh boy. This was a disaster.

His anger was defused momentarily by the explosives going off in the guys room. What a creep, he’d think to himself. His anger reignited the more he spoke. ”Shut up. Go away.” Zeke would warn the kid as he might kill someone today. He looked over to Zena and the poor girl boruto’d away when their eyes fully met. ”Crap.” Zeke muttered as he snatched the newspaper out of the scared kids hand and he made his way out of his dorm room after getting his cloak. Time to meet the author of this fake news article.

He wouldn’t run. He could never fully catch up to her. He took his time to read the article, which didn’t make him feel any better but just wow. Who was spying on them and then still got everything absolutely wrong. This was just bad reporting. Oh god Zena was going to absolutely kill this person if not burn the building down. Oh god. This wasn’t gonna be pretty.

The duo was heated as they both bolted towards the address. They left at different times but it wouldn't matter because regardless of what time they hit the streets their were villagers around. The villagers stared at them, each with different expressions that made their opinions of this matter clear. Some would walk towards them expressing complete interest in them because of the scandal and some completely disgusted.

Zena would be the first to get to 5560 NW 176th street, Mage drive. As she arrived there it would be right before her a news station that printed articles. The windows were glass and everyone inside was celebrating. But what were they celebrating? Maybe she should go inside.

As for Zeke the scandal did make him seem....more appealing. Like a man's man for sure. At least thats what the ladies though as some would approach him. He wasn't running so he was a lot easier to approach. A group of females would approach him. They seemed a bit eager as they approached him. One would speak as the others listened. " Hey...You're Zeke , right? Are the rumors true? Do you really put down like that? Because according to the article ... You drop that A-rank damage on her ass if you know what i mean? We got something we wanna show you, wanna come with? Zeke is left with some choices, will he go with?

Zena tried her best to keep her head down and face hidden as she walked among the crowds. It worked to an extent, especially considering her small stature it was easy to miss her, but even then there was still plenty of people noticing her and giving her dirty looks. She kept repeating the address in her head over and over, she was determined to get to the bottom of this and set things straight. After a bit she arrived at 5560 NW 176th street, Mage drive. It was indeed a news station so she was definitely in the right place. Through the windows she saw what appeared to be a celebration. There was no real way of knowing why they were celebrating but seeing people that she believed to have a hand in creating the false scandal celebrating and being happy brought her rage back to its fullest. She approached the door and cleared her throat before gently openi- BEFORING KICKING THE DAMN DOOR RIGHT OFF THE HINGES. As she entered her arm had already morphed into the giant blade and she stood menacingly in the doorway staring down every single one of the people inside. "WHO.....DID......IT."

As Zena knocked the door down as she said it would swing open and slam against a wall letting out a huge BANG! Which drew the attention right to her and her weaponized arm. "AHHHHH" a lady screamed while others scurried over to their offices to hide underneath them. One employee attempted to put out a distress signal to local shinobi to warn them that the news station is being attacked. Some recognized the face of the young woman as she walked in through the door demanding an answer to her question, "Who did it?". Many answers were being shouted out all at the same time, such as "IT WASN'T ME!" "DONT KILL US!" "DAMN YOU FINE AS FUCK!" "ITS THE NEWS WHORE!" "Young lady"..."Young lady". Some man would appear beside her knowing full well that she is only becoming a product of of a mess that they have caused. " Hey young lady, you don't have to do this. What you're doing is a crime and i know you're mad and your privacy has been invaded but our job is just to report the truth, and nothing but the truth. Albeit your sex life should not have been made public but its more about WHO you slept with that made it news. Shinobi of this town have been running a muck around here. Doing things the way they see fit and the way your sensei took advantage of you kids.....its disgusting." The older man standing beside her would slowly reach for her hand. Hoping she'd calm down before she becomes listed as a rogue shinobi and a murderer. It was also then that he would have the best idea. "ah! how about this? you tell us your story. So long as its the truth and nothing but the truth. Tell us what you're sensei did to you?" He'd pull out a pen and paper but before he could even take a proper seat every reporter that was in hiding rushed out with recorders and notebooks to mooch off this hot story.

Meanwhile in the city

Zeke must be conflicted by the choices at hand. These women are fine after all, his decision awaits.

Shinji. Possibly still tormenting Charles

Oh jeez he was just going to get this all ironed out peaceful but he noticed the stares. He kept his nonchalant attitude but on the inside he was getting anxious. Suddenly a group of older women, he assumed, had descended on him likes tribe of Harpies. But instead of mocking him they praised him. He didn’t know what to say as it was something he thought beyond his realm of possibilities. Internally he felt his skin get hot and his heart race and beat. They offered to show him something. He was curious. He looked over Zena’s way and knew she could handle this. Zeke would let his curiousity win and would begin to follow them. ”Sure.”Wherever They would take him, the boy of little words would get to see what all the interest would gain him.

As Zena searched for her prey among the people in the building a man approached her side speaking calmly. He was right for the most part, she couldn't actually do anything without losing her title as a kunoichi or even worse depending on what she actually did. She eased up a bit and her arm returned to normal, turning to the man that approached her. She had a sneaking suspicion that this was in fact the one who wrote the article, but she had to calm down and handle this properly or she would get herself into a bigger hole than she was already in. Even if this wasn't the guy he was very obviously trying to use her, Zena was smart enough to see that at least. "First of all, I'm literally 12 years old so writing an article about this sort of thing is awful. Secondly, nothing actually happened between me and my Sensei or me and Zeke, or me and anyone.... EVER... thank you very much for forcing me to out something so personal. Whoever was the one that wrote the article fabricated the story and I will deal with them professionally and ask them to write a new article saying that it was a misunderstanding and nothing actually happened, that way the public doesn't have to know it was a blatant lie, but the false rumors are ended. Sound reasonable? Because if it doesn't I can resort to much less nice methods..." she said after collecting herself, she was still visibly irritated but her temper was much better under control now than before.

As Zeke gave into his temptations the small group of harpies pulled him along to a back ally. Where they undressed him and themselves. There in the dark the genin and the group went at each other like savages. Children would pass by this alley on their way back from the academy and catch a few peeps of this tom foolery.  This is of course if Zeke didn't have a last minute change of heart. If he did not, then their crazy behavior would lead a small group of chunin right to him.  These chunin meant business and were definitely going toss Zeke in jail for participating in such shameless acts. Or maybe, just maybe zeke turned away to find Zena and help her on her mission, leaving the scandalous women to believing that he fancies men over women. Soooooo what exactly happened? What shall these Chunin find upon arrival? Is he doing "the beast with many backs"? or is he now known as the man who fancies men?

Meanwhile

The reporter listened to Zena's testimonial. Unlike her expectations, the group of reporters fell silent for a bit. They'd look around at each other and show signs of disappointment. Through chatter among-st themselves Zena would know that this was something they expected to happen. The man would then put her mind at ease." hmm..poor girl. On behalf of this entire company, we apologize for the slandering of your reputation. We should've known better when we hired this reporter that there was a chance that he'd pull a stunt like this. Last week he tried to tell lies about a local sushi stop nearby. I'm a frequent customer there so I knew he was lying right off the bat. I warned him that if this happened again it'll be his entire journalistic career that he'll be losing. Unfortunately I did not know you, Ms. So when he brought this article to me, with sources , witnesses and names, i couldn't help  but give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean who would lie again just a week later. Thing is he is normally an amazing journalist, i dont know what has changed. Sadly the article is out and unless  you can prove that he is a liar, even though i believe you, there's just nothing we can do." As the man spoke a strange hooded figure escapes from a window near Zena's line of sight.  Who is that sneaking out?

Zena listened to the man calmly, it very much sounded like things were going to go right until the end of what he was saying. She felt her temper slowly begin to rise to the surface again, they could obviously release a new article explaining things, it would just look bad for their company. This man obviously didn't care but she wasn't sure what else she could do other than attempt to notify authorities and see if they could clear her name and bring the shithole reporters down. "I see... so what you're saying is you care more about the reputation of your company then fixing a problem that is your fault. I'll have to speak with my sensei and she will likely bring this up to the senior shinobi in the village. I was going to try to work with you and defend both our reputations but you've lost that op-" in the middle of what Zena was saying she noticed a chakra signature trying to escape the building rapidly. She shot outside and around to the window at bullet release speeds before he could get away and would stand in front of him menacingly. "Where do you think you're going?"

The old man seemed thoroughly insulted by the young ladies threats. He was just about to kick her out of his building and make a slick rebuttal about how her threatening entrance earlier would only put her in trouble with the same authorities she's reporting to . But before he could even get a chance to do that, She'd bolt out so fast that the civilians in there room would be shaken. She ran out back to the man that was escaping through the window only to find that it wasn't a man at all. It was a young boy around the age of 13 years old. The kid wore a burgundy hoodie, grayish blue shorts and had black hair. Much like the mysterious picture near the article that was written today. The boys eyes shot open as he stared at her , terrified by the possibility of being hurt by her. As she addressed him in the threatening tone he'd blurt out. "IT WASN'T MY FAULT! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LOVE MEEEEEEE!" As he made a scene the reporters from inside would run towards the confrontation outside.

She recognized that the boy looked like the one in the picture. Was he the one that wrote the article? It seemed unlikely, what kind of company would hire such a young kid as a reporter? Still though, there was little other explanation as to why his picture would be next to the article. Zena took a step back when he blurted out, blushing slightly and looking away. "W-what are you talking about I don't even know who you are. Are y-you the one who did this to me?" she replied, looking back at him and returning to her piercing gaze. She couldn't even begin to comprehend why someone, a kid of all people, would write something like that about her, she didn't like being in the public eye in general, much less in a way that falsely accused her of awful things. And even worse things of her sensei! Well... not that Zena cared about that cold woman anyways, a very tsundere "hmph!" could be heard if one was to read Zena's mind.

The young naive Zeke was led to the back of an alley. Some of the girls started undressing. That’s when all the gears in his head clicked. Oh no. He did not want to be here anymore. This was bad. He wasn’t even interested in people in general. He was all about the self love and the familial love. He should’ve connected the dots. That article was so vulgar and crude that he didn’t truly read the whole thing. Sure the thought of being some young stud appealed to him but then he would have to worry about so much.

That’s when it happened. These girls put their hands on them. Sky’s above, human contact. His social anxiety. The idea of what was about to potentially happen. It was to much for the young boy. That’s when he brushed them off and held his mouth. ”I’m sorry. It’s not you.” He said simply as whatever remained of his breakfast would yak out into a corner. He started vomiting profusely. It was safe to say that Zeke was having an anxiety attack. He didn’t want to be touched. He couldn’t move. Barely breathe. His vision started to blur. Oh boy this was definitely not a good day for the 12 year old boy.

The sight was truly bizarre. Two kids around the age of twelve just yelling at each other outside of a news building. The employees gathered around, but kept themselves at a safe distance. They all looked on with shocked expressions on their faces wondering how things will turn out. Zena has already shown that she was short tempered and trained to kill but young Zepheron , the thirteen year old boy she stood over had no fighting experience at all. One might question how did such a young child get a prestigious job at the village's top news company. The answer was simple, he just came in highly recommended and at a time of need. During the time he was being employed the company wasn't at the height of its popularity as it is now. The business was failing and their top writer was moving on to another news company. Zepheron was known as a literal prodigy and due to that being well known and acquainted with most of their current employees. He was then offered a job at the age of 11 to work there, and since then, his reporting has brought the news station and their articles to number 1. But what has happened since then to bring this boy to the humiliating position that he is now. Well that is also very simple, Love. See, when he accepted this amazing position with the company it came at a cost of being pulled out of Mahougakure's shinobi academy. He never did get to become a ninja but at worst he never got to profess his love to the girl in his class that made his heart skip a beat, Zena. She was always with her brother, and those two mainly kept to themselves, rarely letting others in. The attraction reached its pinnacle when Zepheron got into an altercation with a school bully when he was rescued by the big hearted and gracious, Zena. Well that's what he says has happened but what really happened was a chain of events.

" I hate it when you do this to me! I hate it when you act like this towards me. I know I'm a kid but I can love damn it! He'd begin to tear up as he'd continue to explain." I've always loved you. From the first day at the Academy, i could've sworn that you were staring at me too. But...everytime I'd look at you, you'd pretend to look away and be daydreaming or dosing off. I know Zeke was around but... you don't love him, not like you love me. " As tears roll down his eyes he'd chuckle a bit. " I thought i was losing my mind for a while. Why would someone pretend to be looking away every time i look at them, but then stare at me so long when I'm not? I had given up; until that day. It was noon, right after lunch near the staircases. Yudili, the school bully... actually one of zeke's friends called me a weirdo for wearing pink shoes and this red hoodie. He was worked up about me always wearing the same thing.. haha i dont wear the same thing! But he believed it and shoved me. I knew you were watching so I couldnt just let him shove me. I balled my fist and drove my knuckles right in the back of his head! I bet you were probably impressed until.. Until he didn't go down and proceeded to pummel me. I almost went unconscious you and zeke walked by dumping your lunch trey's in the can nearby. No one knew but i saw what you did.... You purposely missed the trash allowing your milk to spill and your chop sticks to land near me. That was such a shinobi move, you've always been the best! So i picked up the chop sticks and i stabbed him right in his Achilles tendon. There was soo much blood and as he backed up he slipped and fell down the stairs. HAHAHA! He was in the hospital for a whole week because of you. I didn't get arrested because it was self defense. You thought of all that, because you loved me. I was going to tell you that i loved you too but then i got this job and.. and you know. I figured you'd wait for me , but instead you are now part of this shinobi team and zeke must've had his way with you by now.. Why? Why didn't you wait for me?" Everyone watching by would stare in complete disbelief of what they just heard. With a shrug one to another, they would chant what they think is right? although not very confident if they should support their fellow writer now. "Love him! Love him! Love him!" Will she love him?

Meanwhile...

Zeke has escaped the grasp of the promiscuous alley women. They were completely thrown off that any man could resist their charm. This has never happened before and as the chunin approached, they would have nothing to report. The women wouldn't hold anything against Zeke, after he vomited. His emission of fluids through his mouth to the women was a clear indication that the man they thought would be a plowing machine is in fact probably gay. "It's ok zekiki, We're soo flattered that you'd even try. Even after knowing that you prefer the firm and dominate pinning of a man. " As the women try to comfort Zeke, a transmission can be heard from the radios that the chunin had with them notifying them of a disturbance at the news building off of Mage drive. What will Zeke do now?

As the boy spilled his guts in front of Zena she couldn't help but think about how much he was wasting her time. Clearly he wrote the article, he had to fix it, or pay. That was all. Whatever history he thought he had with her she just couldn't care less, she didn't even recognize him much less love him. Hah what a thought, loving somebody, what a ridiculous waste of time. "I know Zeke was around but... you don't love him" hmm... this was correct. Right? Zena's thoughts trailed off to what love really is and if it was a proper identifier for how she felt about Zeke. She decided it definitely wasn't, although something close perhaps? It was a bit difficult to put a word to it, but love surely wasn't the one. Zena continued to listen but had no idea what the kid was talking about until he mentioned the chopstick stabbing. She vaguely remembered an incident like that, where she was thinking about something embarrassing and spaced out, missing the garbage can, and saw a fight happening right in the hallway. She definitely quickly ran off the opposite direction with Zeke to avoid any trouble, making no note of who was fighting each other. The quarrels of those that meant nothing to her were equally as unimportant as their own existence. Anywho this kid was obviously seriously delusional or insane, or a mix of both, so she decided to lay it on him the only way she knew how. Bluntly and honestly. "I have no idea who you are..." she said flatly. Whether she didn't realize how crushing that sentence would be to him, or whether she just didn't care, it was hard to say.

Zeke did feel better after letting go of his breakfast but then his ego got crushed again at the mention of them thinking he was gay. ”Wait don’t get the wrong idea I’m not-“ He got the urge to get sick all over again and almost lost it as that’s when he heard the chatter. Some commotion at the address he was supposed to be at. Oh no. Zena. What bloodbath did she insight. ”Look my friend is in danger. Think what you will. I don’t know you so I do not care what you think of me. But I have to protect someone right now.” As cool as he would love to look he knew All rule of cool he could’ve pulled had been faltered by his anxieties getting the better of him. Zeke bolted off and ran full speed away from that hellish alleyway.

He didn’t know what would happen by the time he would make it there. He really shouldn’t have gone through that alley. Ugh all those strangers. Trying to touch him. Wasn’t he underage. He would have to ask Sensei about prosecutions... prostitution? No no he was thinking prosecution. Either way he wasn’t as fast as Zena but he’d make it there as quickly as he could.
