The day was just starting and Velas liked to always get a fresh start on the day. She would open her eyes to the bright blue of the morning sky and stretch her arms out with a loud yawn before looking around and then up where Crocus was perched on a branch above.

Velas had been traveling the night before and decided a small rest was in order and from the looks of it she had slept all the way through the night. She would stand up then pick up her bladed Gunbai fan before placing it on her back and giving anpther small yawn before rubbing the crust off her eyes. She had been coming this way cause she intended on taking down a target she had been tracking who for sure was a missing ninja. He was male and that was all she knew about him at the moment. She would pull out a small green book before looking at the first page with a line across it labled D-Rank Male Bounty #1. It was the start of her list since she had left home and she intended on filling up the book in order to learn as much as possible.

It was time to get moving and before doing so Velas would pull on her vest which was the only clothing she had beside a skirt clothing really did not matter to her due to the 300 feathers she had naturally on her body covering most of her, she was a regular bird women amd would look odd to anyone not familiar with her clan but anyway she began walking north with Crocus floating about 20 feet above the location velas was in scanning the area for any targets and from up there he had quite the view. Velas would look up every couple seconds ready to act on any signals Crocus would give about a possible target or even the male they had been looking for.

A tall man walked through the open area. He was very slender and was wearing a large black cloak that draped down to his ankles. The hood on the cloak was pulled up over his head and was creating a shadow over his face. A large sword was rested on his back as he walked through the dry terrain with his arms by his sides. He hated the heat, but the cloak was necessary to hide his identity.

Velas would look up to notice Crocus circling what had to be a target, Vêlas would ready herself before looking at a man that came intp view before pulling out her notepad and writing down a few things, bladed male not the one i was looking for but from the looks of it he is a ninja or at least a person from one of the factions. Once Vêlas got close enough she would stop and give and small glance fixing her glasses to get a better look at the man before waiting to see what his response would be.

As for Corcus he already knew what his job was he would all of a sudden be set ablaze and most likely not even be noticed due to being about 20 feet in the air. His flame technique would cause ash to begin to rain down on the area slowly but surely hitting the ground and turning it a black.

The tall man would notice the girl with feathers on her arms and would smirk to himself. Not only was this girl a Fuschio, but she was also a she, and that meant she was worth a lot of money. The long limbed man would take off towards her at C-rank speeds, using mostly strength to throw himself in a direct line towards the bird girl, avoiding the small amount of ash dropped from the sky. He would aim to grab her skull with one hand and slam it into the ground with C+ rank strength.

Velas was not all that worried I mean she still had her book in hand and for the most part she was not yet ready to fight the man until shs was able to learn a little more about his techniques. She now knew he had to be a samurai the strength he used when moving was rather brute and she could likewise tell from the straight line he was moving in. The moment the man launched forward Velas would jump toward the left at C rank speeds if he kept following her at that speed then he would never reach her naturally and while she moved ash would continue calling upon the ground and Velas would write osoroshi style strength C rank class under where it said bounty number 2 after writing that down she would put the book away and begin handseald before causing the ash around to lift and form a mist which would block the mans vision and if that was not enough would produce no sound due using silent killing then add more of a effect by adding in a genjustu.

Crocus was up about 40 feet having moved higher and still on fire though the technique would fade soon the animal would have to wait a little before reusing the ash making techbique.

Suddenly the girl would dodge, but the man was expecting her to have some skill, so he was kind of ready for a counter. Unfortunately for him however, after the girl dodged, ash flooded the area and she disappeared within the mist. The slender man began to cough and felt his lungs being poisoned by the dark ash. He knew he wouldn't be able to withstand it forever. The man grabbed his zanbato off his back and held it with two hands. He then lifted it over his head and brought it down vertically, striking down in the space in front of him. Suddenly wind would be pushed from both sides of the blade, for a large gust would push the ash 20 ft away in both directions. He had no clue where the girl was, but he had cleared some room for him to breathe, and if the girl was on either side of him, she would be knocked down by the wind as well.

Velas would pull put her notpad and make a note of yet another technique used a Area dispersal technique which the samurai used in order to get out of the mist however since he did not know he was inside a genjustu he would still be under its affect for the time being and not be able to get spot Velas as she finished writing down the notes. He would most likely put two and two together seeing as how he would have a slight headache.

Next due to Crocus not being able to produce ash materia Velas would have to make her own her body bursting alight ans the samurai if he still had not dispelled the genjustu would smell fire not just ash probably feel the heat from the B-Rank technique which would cause ash to instantly for upon the ground near where Velas was. Then once again the mist would rise and blanket the area. Before Velas would take off using silent killing and pulling out her Gunbai without opening it in a attempt to pass by the samurai and slice him in his back leg while pushing him in the back to burn him before jumping and moving about 15 feet away from him if she was not caught.

As soon as the mist had started forming again Crocus would dive bomb down on the target coating himself in flames and moving at C-Rank++ speeds to hit the target in the back then opposite leg Velas had hit then move back into the air.

The man would realize that he couldn't see the girl and would figure that she was hiding in the ash that was still in front of him. He would then prepare for a ranged technique using his blade, but he was caught off guard by the ash that rose up around him. And when he began to cough as his lungs caught fire again, he was hit in both of his legs and then was blasted in his back by a heat sensation. All of it was a little too much for the samurai.
