| Traveling and Mission Topic“ Well, here we are. The land of shadows. God this place is depressing.” Cersei said to her two traveling partners. Now that they’ve finally arrived at this desolate wasteland, it was time for them to get the show on the road. The last time they were here they were able to capture one measly Midogardon but today that she hoped that they would better luck this time around. If not then might as well she gave up on her dream. “ Look alive kids, we’re looking for Midogardons let’s try not to get caught off guard and get killed, would suck if we died here.” Cersei stated while keeps her eyes peeled. Sadly she didn’t have any special eye techniques so she would have to settle for her regular pair of beauties. | As Cersei continued onto her path, he would come across a strange forest of some kind. In a way, it would seem a bit manufactured, sort of giving the impression that someone must of put it there. It was either someone, or something, so to speak. The forest was humble, clear, and prospering. Its canopy was ruled by walnut, asp, and linden, sufficient twinkling lights busted through their crowns for a patchwork of sprouts to flourish in the fertile soils below.
The beauty of nature was apparent, the path towards the forest was also avoidable. Will she cave into her curiosity? | |

| Her blue hues would survey the area before coming across a forest in the usually barren Land of Shadows. With the kid mysteriously disappearing, which was probably for the better, it was only herself and Tami left. With obviously no other option she would look to Tami before pointing towards the forest indicating that they were going to do a little exploring in the forest. Hopefully, that they wouldn’t come across any unwanted nuisances. “Stick close to me okay Tami?” Cersei said as she pulled the woman closer to her causing her to blush. Unknown to Cera, who was back home, Cersei had already shown Tami the pleasures a succubus could bring to mere humans and even though Tami wasn’t one to express any kind of emotion whatsoever, it was obvious that she yearned for more. | As the group entered they would notice that the curving vines suspended from many a tree, and a medley of flowers around the area. They grew in a sprinkled and disorderly fashion, enhanced the otherwise unvarying lower level. Within the contents of the lower level of the forest, a medley of wild noises, unknown to cersei herself, filled the air, and formed a chaotic orchestra with the sound of the wind blowing gently through the forest.
Was this actually the home to something? What will she find? Would she be willing to step forward and brave the wilderness? ***********************   | |

| Damn this place is giving me the creeps, Cersei thought as she continued heading north inside the forest. They haven’t stumbled across anything as yet which was good and bad. Good in the sense that there weren’t any surprises lurking around the corner, well not that she can tell anyways and bad in the sense that they’ve yet to see what they came here for. As they made their way deeper into the forest, Cersei could sense that Tami was getting a bit uneasy about being in the forest. “No worries love, I’ll protect you.” She said with a smile before bending over and placing her hand on the ground trying to see if she would be able to sense anything within the area, thankfully Baek had taught her this technique in hindsight. - Spoiler:

| If cersei would pay attention, in the distance, she would see a huge lake of some sort with an underbelly that seems to lead to an underwater sect of some kind. The lake was beautiful and massive, it would have probably been a good drinking fountain at some point for weary travelers. However, something must have found it and decided to make it home, by leaving its mark everywhere. Around the area was two Caeserber, beating their tails on the log dam, looking similar to some kind of tiny house for Fauna that moved around a lot. They seemed to be preparing to make a nest of some kind, but that would stop as soon as Cersei moved into this particular domain. You see, to be in this particular domain, you had to step on some shrubs, but that was all apart of the techniques that the Caserber had in store. If you stepped on them, you was marked with a tropical odor that immediately made the Caeserber aware of their presence, giving them an A rank sensory sense of smell, to track and be aware of opponents. To cersei, it would feel like suddenly someone sprayed some fancy perfume. -Entering Battle Phase- Ceserber 1, turned around and slapped it’s tail on the ground to create something akin to a Shockwave at B rank speeds that traveled as far as 45 Feet. It would deal B rank strength damage and throw Cersei and her friend into a ragdoll state. This would toss them into trees for collateral damage of the forest. AS for Cerseber 2, they seemed to be preparing something. - Spoiler:

Description: With the mutated beaver-like tail of a cerseber, it can generate powerful shockwaves from the beat of it's tail. When that is done, scaled off its strength, it does that specific number of damage and sends the individual into a rag doll motion. The beginning stage of the shockwave without strength tiers is 15 meters, but each rank of strength adds 10 feet. The rag doll motion can be resisted with strength tiers equal to or higher that the Cerseber's strength. The ragdoll is also initiated at the beast's strength tier, which in this case, those inflicted will be sent back in crashing ground speeds
^Main point- moves at crashing ground, covers 45 feet, Deals b rank damage that can be nullified with defenses, C rank collateral damage if you get hit. Needs b rank damage to resist the shockwave.

Description: With the use of nature chakra, the Cerseber promotes the growth of tropical shrubs around the area of the domain in question at A tank speeds. They are seemingly harmless on their own, but they are an inch in size, hidden by the green terrain below. It's a lot more likely to step on them since it covers about 80 feet of the location of initiation. However, with the use of more Cereseber within the technique, they can also pitch in and increase the growth of the small shrubs, doubling it or tripling it. This jutsu grants them an A rank scent based sensory against that particular smell, making them aware of unwanted guests and leaving them more suited to handle it.

| “ Hmm, that’s a rather sweet scent.” Cersei said out loud as now she was covered in some odd perfume. Whatever that was it didn’t matter to her as she was able to pick up the vibrations of the fauna she had been looking for and luckily for her, there were two there or maybe that was a tad bit unlucky if you looked at from a different angle. Either way, she would feel the shockwave coming her way and would grab Tami before spreading her wings and launching herself into the sky at vacuum release speeds avoiding the shockwave. With the two creatures in sight, it was time for Tami to do her thing, which was to woo them into joining their side. “ Listen, guys we’re not here to hurt you. We’re your friends, please calm down!” She said trying to use her taming powers to soothe the wild beasts. - Spoiler:

| Even though the first cersabear was taken into the smooth talking of the succubus, the second one wasn't having any part of that it finished preparing and then managed to bring out a giant venus fly trap of some kind. The Venus fly trap was made of nature release and had wood bark for teeth. Strangely enough, it also had a nose of some kind. It was 60 feet in length and width. Though, As Cersei continued to fly, she wold notice that it was consideredly a lot faster than she realized, Trying to trap the girl in at A rank Samurai speeds. The first cersabear was incapacitated for the time being, but what happens when they bring out something that especially deals with flying targets? OOC: Sorry for saying shrub marker twice - Spoiler:

Once this is completed, the user brings about a giant venus fly trap that is 60 feet in lenfth and width, with A rank speed movements for ground targets. However, for check purposes, it's movements are treated under samurai speeds for flying targets. The bites and clamps deal A rank piercing damage, but the saliva after clamping that the opponent should worry about. Once a clamp actually begins, the opponent would either need A rank strength, or B rank strength and an escape artist technique. Citric acid deals C rank nature damage for every p.t that the target is captured.

| Surprisingly they were able to take one of the Cersabear right off the bat. This was in stark contrast to the first time they had tried doing this and failed miserably. With that said it was time for her to try get the other one so they could leave this Carmen forsaken forest. “ Hold on tight Tami!” Cersei shouted before flying off to left at S rank speeds avoiding the Venus fly trap’s bite. Once avoided she would fly down and landed on the ground next to where it had popped up before hitting the base of it with S rank strength all while covering Tami her left wing. Tami would again look to the Cersabear and repeated what she had said before in order to try and soothe the animal. - Cersei:
The Demon Curse Mark boosts Cersei's physical tiers by one rank. So her speed and strength are boosted from A to S.

| Due to the fact that Cersei's magical talk played a role in soothing the rage of the beasts, they somehow felt compelled to listen to Cersei and stand down. The Venus fly trap looked at them, and then at her. After that, it started to sink back into the ground and travel around underground like some kind of giant snake to search for more intruders. The rest was really up to Cersei.

| So far so good. Cersei thought to herself as they were able to let their guard down thanks to the fact that Tami was able to successfully tame both creatures. With that done they would round up the two fauna that were now on their side and would begin to move further into the forest hoping to find the other two they came here for. Once they were able to get those two, or rather if they were able to, they would be able to go ahead with the third phase of her plan. Shifting her eyes to the left she would notice the smile on Tami’s face as she played around with the fauna she managed to tame. It was rather sweet seeing the always stoic Tami show emotion whenever she interacted with fauna, the true sign of a tamer. | Regardless of how fast they treaded, it would take about four hours to reach on over to the next destination, and if they weren’t careful, their last. Up head would be somewhat of a town for them to see. The main road that led to and from prairie paradise was torn to pieces by the elements. Grass filled the labyrinth of cracks and sand covered whatever was left. Gardens grew beyond their artificial borders and began claiming parts of the streets and houses.
Many doorways still stood tall and in some cases it was one of the few things left of a home. But most doors were completely gone and only remnants of rotten wood were left behind. Window panes hung perilously from their hinges and here and there drapes had been flung out by the wind. Praire paradise , once rich with life, hopes, dreams and aspirations was now a forgotten remnant of a time long passed.
Silence had taken hold and would've been deafening were it not for the many animals that had made this place their home. Bird songs, rustling bushes and the occasional howl filled the air.
Unknown to most, this was once home to a petting zoo of rare fauna, but one mistake made them all released. Some of the creatures left, but with the apparent howls, some stayed.

| Well, the moment she had noticed that it would’ve taken them sometime to get to their destination, where ever that was, she would hop on the back of one of the Cersabear and rode it until they arrived at the village as she had no intention of walking for four hours straight. The moment they had arrived she would hop off the back of the fauna and took a good look around. The place had obviously been deserted for quite some time which made her question if it was worth while searching this dump for anything. With nothing else to do, she and her companions would begin walking through the area looking for anything that could be of use to them. *********************** - Maximillian:

| It was pretty obvious, but the tension started to rise as the other wild animals started to steer clear. Something picked up on the scent of the new creatures, as well as the people that arrived. This was their kingdom, and they didn't take kindly to visitors. The heat in the area started to increase a bit. It was strange, was it because of the mysterious patrons of the area that didn't want them there? It was all a part of making a proper judgment call, or will they make the mistake of being someone's prey? *********************** | |

| Cersei would pause for a second as she would notice that the other animals started acting jittery. She would take that as a sign that something was nearby watching their every move, but what was it? She would look over to Tami who was busy trying to calm down their new friends as she too noticed that something was amiss. With that said, she ordered the ground to stop where they were and placed her hand on the floor once more in an attempt to see if she could pick up any vibrations nearby if not she would decide to leave this place as it was starting to give her the creeps. - Spoiler:

| Due to the fact that the incoming assailant was walking pretty stealthy, vibration sense would be pretty useless due to the fact that the way that a predator stalks its prey is to make sure that it's not seen until it was too late. That's exactly what this Midogardon did while moving at A rank speeds. Cersei would need either an S rank hearing sensory to detect sounds or an A rank vibration sensor to detect the movement of the Midogardon. However, if she had a chance to bump it up, the beasts wouldn't let her without trying to go in for the kill first. As it continues to become noticeable, the heat would suddenly start to feel unbearable, making Cersei and the rest of the group feel exhausted and dehydrated by just being in the area. It was around this time that the attacks started to happen. A Midogardon appeared at A rank speeds a pouncing motion at A Rank speeds to deal A rank scorch damage, leaving the ground in a blazing motion to tackle the opponent. The other Midogardon would attack the girl and the other two beasts with a shower of scorch meteor balls to rain down on the opponents and deal B rank damage overall - Spoiler:

Description: As a predator, the Midogardon stalks it's prey with calculating steps, muffling all sound with its movements until it's able to strike. No sound from it's steps can be heard unless the individual contains a hearing sensory technique (S-rank) which detects sound or (A-rank) which detects vibrations. When strikes are made while the Midogardon stalks it's prey, the target would need an A rank reaction tiers to be better prepared if they remained undetected.
^ CErsei used a lower vibration sensory, unless she can go right into the higher ones at will.
Name: Scorching Field "Torture Chamber"

Range: Long "AOE With 2 two or more Midogardon Present and actively participating in the technique"
Description: This is their world, their field, and the Midogardon makes it known to those who dare decide to trespass in their field. When this technique activates, the beast(s) use it's combined effort to saturate the area with scorch release chakra. What this does is put those who do not have a scorch release chakra nature in a Desiccate state, subtracting from their fatigue limit every round (-5)until they dry out their liquids and die. Fatigue gauge is equivalent to an individual's stamina gauge, and desiccate can be countered with either S rank chakra tiers or S rank endurance tiers along with a dehydration resistance technique. Every time those who are affected by the field does anything under the physical category via specializations, they sweat out equivalent to the rank that they attempt to take that's external. For example, you moved at B rank speed( -3 Faituge) and so on.

Description: The Midogardon showers the target with scorch balls that are 3 feet in size, 5 in total These Balls travel at crashing ground and can pierce through B-rank defenses. If this technique is used under the effects of the torture chamber techniques, direct hits from this technique is calculated into the target's faituge loss limit (-3).
Name: Scorching Tackle
Classification: Beast Art
Rank: A-rank
Class: Offensive
Range: MidRange
Description: The Midogardon bounces off the floor before covering itself into a pusedo chakra armor of scorch release. After that, it would pounce towards the target at it's tier speeds and distance via the size measurements, looking something akin to a rocket of scorch release in order to burn through the opponent and maul them to death. This deals A tier scorch release, and if the user has strength tiers equivalent to this technique, this technique deals A rank piercing. If the target was stalking the target before attacking, prior preparation grants + samurai speeds for this technique only. If this technique is used under the effects of the torture chamber techniques, direct hits from this technique is calculated into the target's faituge loss limit (-4).

| Strange she couldn’t sense a thing but if that was the case she would have to step up her sensing game, which unfortunately she couldn’t due to the fact that she only learned basics due to being a lazy bitch. It wouldn’t matter anyway as she knew something was up as the place started to heat up quite quickly. She didn’t know this attack specifically, but she had fought against a Midogardon before and she knew that this was the work of one and this wasn’t an ideal situation to be in. With that said she would ensure that she was close to Tami just in case anything had happened and regrettably for them, something did happen. Fortunately for them, Cersei had something for this. Unknown to the fauna lurking around, Cersei had a passive ability that allowed her to inflict good and bad luck on her opponents and she would look to capitalize on that. Firstly, the Midogardon running towards her would end up tripping on its own legs and would end up eating dirt for lunch. The second would find its aim slightly off as the intended meteor shower end up 5 feet away from its intended target, Cersei would use her wing to cover Tami protecting her with body in the event that the balls could explode or what not. The two cersabears would run off in preparation for something else. Tami in the meantime would attempt to soothe the beasts to end this fight before they were sucked dry. - Spoiler:
Stochastic Field barrier covers 120 feet those who are within the field are susceptible to the following techniques.
Stochastic Field: Bad Luck- Skewed Aim- Steers the meteor shower five feet away from its target unless they possess an equal rank strength+defense tier chain.
Stochastic Field: Bad Luck- Trippn'- Forces anything moving at max or above tiers to trip unless they possess an equal rank strength+defense tier chain

The field itself is quite harmless as it does no damage to anyone who enters the barrier nor does it offer any sort of special detection for Cersei. Description: Luck is defined as success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions. Such a statement would apply to the ordinary denizen that inhabits this world but not Cersei. Thanks to her ability, Cersei is able to manipulate the outcome of any action that requires a success chance ensuring that the outcome is one more favorable for her and her allies. This edition allows her to add or subtract three counts on/off the initial number rolled. For this effect to come into play, a chance of success roll must be done.

| Their aim was pretty much off, something that angered the hungry scorch wolves. They couldn't stave off the quench for human flesh any longer, the lives of those who decided to enter into their territory unannounced. Instead, one of the scorch beasts slammed it' foot on the ground, bringing up blackened spikes from the ground that covered the area in an aoe Radius at A rank speeds to deal A rank scorch damage. However, it managed to completely avoid the other midogardon. Since it's a fixed aoe from where it's activated, there was no way for the aoe to be off. They can continue tp stumble and fall, but they didn't have to move from the spot in order to be offensive. In the meantime, the other midogardon seemed to generate something akin to a scorch lion, which started to make an immediate pounce. However, given the fact that area was to care to scorch release techniques, it seemed to move a little faster as it's own sentient being. Surely they cant give bad luck to a form of energy right? - Spoiler:

Classification: Beast Tech

Range: Mid range
Description: The user shoots several bones charged with scorch release chakra into the ground to prepare his technique. While in the ground the bones rapidly grow like tree roots until they have surrounded 30 feet of the original area. The user then does a stomp, which acts like a trigger for the bones spike up at tremendous speed (Vacuum release) impaling everything within range not including themselves or allies. Remaining spikes can be used as A rank materia for bone related scorch release techniques only, and disperses after it's use. If this technique is used under the effects of the torture chamber techniques, direct hits from this technique is calculated into the target's faituge loss limit (-4).

Classification: Beast Tech
Rank: B-S rank
Class: Offensive
Range: Mid
Description: After generating scorch release from their body which takes the form of a panther which moves at crashing ground speeds, the user can manipulate it to affect multiple victims at once with each leap. In addition, the number of leaps it can do from target to target depends on the rank of the is about three, with each leap increasing in speed and increasing in damage. The second leap will be at Vaccum speeds and deal A rank scorch release damage, and the last Leap will deal S rank scorch release damage with S rank speed. | Cersei would grab Tami and threw her over her shoulder before flying upwards at Blinding light speeds avoiding the two attacks heading their way. The two cersabears would follow suit, albeit being with the Venus fly trap technique keeping them from harm’s way by keeping them off the ground as they stood on top of it. Based on the fact that one of the fauna had stopped attacking it was obvious that Tami’s attempt to tame it was successful. Tami would attempt to tame the last Midogardon, hopefully, it would work this time. - Spoiler:

| The techs were dispersed by the Midogardon, seemingly having a change of heart because of the mysterious probability. It was a good thing too, since the rage of the beasts were starting to build up, but they seemed to have calmed down as they came under the woman's command. For now, all it seemed left to do was to simply return home. *********************** | |

| Well, that seems to be it then. Cersei thought to herself as Tami had managed to tame the final Midogardon, which meant that it was time for them to pack up and leave this place. She would descend to the ground before placing Tami on her two feet. She would quickly examine her to see if she was harmed in anyway and when it seemed like she was alright she would turn her attention to the group of fauna they had managed to collect during their little trip into the Land of Shadows. Before they had begun this journey she had hoped that they would’ve had better luck than the last time they had attempted this whole taming thing and thankfully it went better than she had hoped for. With these four that upped her tally to five fauna tamed in total, four of those ironically were Midogardons, not that she minded since she was just starting out but she would rather to get some diversity in the near future so that they could of course gain some rare sub species by mating different fauna. Cersei couldn’t help but hide the excitement she had been feeling and who could blame her? Her plans were now coming together quite nicely. “Well, it’s about time we head back home, Cera must be worried about us.” She stated before turning towards Tami who was preoccupied with to get the two groups of fauna to get along. The two Midogardons were growling looking like they were ready to pick a fight with the two Caeserbers that seemed equally pissed at the sight of the other two. They would end up growling and snarling at each other for a solid ten minutes before Tami had finally put her foot down causing them to cease their bickering. With that nonsense out of the way, Cersei, Tami and her newly formed crew would begin searching for a way out this Carmen forsaken village and with no real exit in sight, they decided that it was best that they just left the way they had arrived from. Like the previous trip it would take them a solid four hours to arrive back to the forest they had traversed through and like the last time Cersei had decided to ride one of the faunas, this time a Midogardon, all the way as she was quite tired from the experience. It had taken them a total of 10 hours and forty seven minutes to get back to the Land of Ash and when they did the first one to greet them was the first Midogardon they had managed to capture. Cersei had actually named him George which was an odd name for a Mido but he seemed to like it so who was anyone to complain. “Look bud, we have new friends for you!” Cersei said with a smile as she introduced the four new additions to the family. She now needed to find somewhere to put these fauna as they couldn’t possibly hold in their house, which was now the next thing on her agenda.
